A Rather Short Post

Tuesday

Today I started to reread Shinobi of the High Seas and got to chapter 13. The stories that had new chapters were – Service with a Smile, It’s in the Cards, and Flames of the Night Sky. I also reread another sakurademonalchemist story.

It’s called ‘Best Served Cold’ and is a Harry Potter story with some Hellsing crossover later on. I mentioned Hellsing ealier, I think, but I didn’t talk about it. Hellsing is about Alucard (Dracula) and his newly turned servant, Seras Victoria (former cop), who serve the Hellsing Organization in taking down his own kind that threaten the world (or just England). It’s really good and there are Nazi Vampires later. The original anime is good, but the remake, Hellsing Ultimate, is better in my opinion. Be warned though, it is a bit of a gory anime.

Anyway, the story has a Harry Potter who became a Ministry Auditor (one of the most feared positions in the Ministry) coming back in time to his preHogwarts self and using his knowledge to fix things, and troll as many people as possible. It’s fun and silly, a great combination (now if only it, like so many others by this author, were finished). The link is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12149140/1/Best-Served-Cold.

There was a new chapter for a story called ‘Time and Sand’ by Scififan33. It’s a Star Wars story that has a Luke from a slightly different Episode 8 ending up a few years before Episode 1 on Tatooine. He meets and helps Anakin and joins the crew in Episode 1. It’s fun and is on its 8th chapter. Here’s the link – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12410879/1/Time-and-Sand.

Other than getting Cressila from a raid on PoGo and letting people trade to my Let’s Go game to get Meltan, nothing else happened today. I’ll see everyone tomorrow!

Wednesday

Today, I read more Shinobi of the High Seas, played some Let’s Go and not much else. The new chapters today were from: Burning Ice and Zero no Tsukaima: Saito the Onmyoji. Once again, I’ll talk about a series I haven’t mentioned yet.

The Boxcar Children is a bit older popular children’s series. It’s about four orphaned kids who run away because they believe their grandfather to be cruel (they never meet him). They end up living in an abandoned boxcar from a train. At the end of the first book, they meet their grandfather and end up living with him. All other books have mysteries or puzzles the children need to solve.

There are now 149 books (they’re still being published), 5 Great Adventures and 21 Specials. Only the first 19 books (revised since then) are by the series creator, Gertrude Chandler Warner, before her passing (the first book was published in 1924). The rest have brought them to the current time period (though they’re still young kids, just the time period has changed), though several different authors have written them. It’s a fun series for young kids and adults alike. Read and enjoy!

See people when I post tomorrow!

Thursday

Today, again, I read more Shinobi of the High Seas. I also went to my mother’s retirement party tonight and had a fun conversation with one of her co-workers about anime and introduced them to some new ones along with my blog. I hope they enjoy the new series and eventually read this as well! The new chapters for today are – It’s in the Cards, Organization 13 and a Half and Heroes Assemble!

I reread some more sakurademonalchemist stories. The first was ‘Harmony of the Moonlit Sky’, which is a KHR and Sailor Moon crossover. When Sailor Moon learns that King Endymion destroys the Mafia for peace when she’s in the future, she decides to change things and gets in contact with her former family, Xanxus. She had gotten away by claiming to have amnesia to not get roped into Vongolia’s nonsense after his ‘icing.’ Watch how the Sailor’s lives change because of this, here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12368003/1/Harmony-of-a-Moonlit-Sky.

The second one was ‘A Tale of Two Swords,’ which is a multi-crossover with Harry Potter, the Fate Series and the universe of the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I’ve read all the books about that universe (a while back though), including the Simarillion (that was fun, let me tell you). I enjoyed the series and liked the movies, though the new Hobbit movies were too drawn out in my opinion.

The story has a female Harry drawing Caliburn instead of the Sword of Gryffindor in the Chamber of Secrets and summons Mordred to help. She ends up in the Clocktower with a pranking troll (read Zelretch) that dumps them in the Hobbit. It’s fun for only 8 chapters and can be found here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13013839/1/A-Tale-of-Two-Swords.

I then read a bunch of My Hero Academia fanfics, starting with ‘A Smile on Your Face and a Song in Your Heart’ by Kreadstornham. It has a Izuku who has the quirk to hear people’s souls through music. Nobody believes him for a while or thinks it’s stupid so he has much more issues than in the original. He works to overcome this though, it can be found here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13118908/1/A-Smile-on-Your-Face-and-a-Song-in-Your-Heart.

The next one, which is by the same author, is called ‘Redemption.’ It has a universe where Izuku never met All Might and thus remained Quirkless. Grown up, he still tries to help whenever he can, which is how he meets Uravity. Things happen from there. The link is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12991637/1/Redemption.

I then read ‘My Gamer Academia’ by All Hail Science, which is a Gamer and Academia crossover. Deku has always had the Gamer quirk, but no-one believes him. He still gets One for All, but has better control of it because of the Gamer. There are only 6 chapters currently, but it’s fun! It’s link is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12791382/1/My-Gamer-Academia.

Lastly, I read ‘Deku, The Telekinetic Hero’ by sremiehzla. Deku has a telekinetic quirk that he uses to become a hero. He and Ochako quirks work well together, so they work as a team (it just finished the School festival arc). The story can be found here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12969971/1/Deku-The-Telekinetic-Hero.

That’s all for this post, my friends! See everyone on Monday!
