App Issues Can Cause You To Be Late!

Hello, friends. Sorry this is late, I got caught up in something and yesterday I was working on posting the second chapter of my fic, Theurgy Thru Replevy. As a reminder, it’s on both ff.net and ao3. My friend and I had a good time while he was here and I’m going to visit him later in the year.

The main reason I didn’t post this weekend was that Friday before last, my text to speech app kept crashing when I opened it. I tried several things but had to delete and reinstall it. Sadly, it didn’t want to load the library saved in my cloud storage, so I’ve had to reload everything in there. I’m currently in the middle of the S section now.

Luckly, I still have my old phone with the folders that I can use as a basis as I hadn’t added many new stories to it. I did something that managed to get some of the old files on it, but I decided to rearrange and update them if I had to redo it anyway. Instead of the fics having a file for each chapter, I made sure I had all the current ones in one file using Fichub. I also put all the completed stories into a completed stories file by starting letter and putting the ones that start with ‘A’, ‘An’ or ‘The’ in order of the second word. Finally, I’m putting all the stories from a series in the same folder.

That being said, my reading list is currently shot, but I’m slowly getting back into it. The main one I’ll talk about is that I finished The Eminence in Shadow Vol 2 and moved onto Baccano! V3. This one tells the rest of the story from the previous book, starting from the beginning and filling in the holes left over. Follow the Alchemist, the Woman in Coveralls and the Rail Tracer (!) as they bring the story of the ‘Flying Pussyfoot’ to a close.

I’ll have a longer quest list to make up for it. First is Fate: Hammer Time by TedTheRabbit. This is a Fate/Stay Night and MCU slight crossover I’ve mentioned before here. MCU Thor at the end of his life sends Mjölnir to find its new wielder with all of his powers. Middle school Shirou ends up with it (though other potentials from other anime are mentioned in a way to imply they’ll get their own powers from the MCU and become kind of like the new Avengers. But not in this fic and later in the future) and he runs with it. Watch as Asgardian Shirou does his best to become the best Hero he can! It has 68 chapters and was last updated in Feb.

Second is Fate Extra: Grand Glorious Games (GGG) by SeerKing. This is a ‘Fate/Stay Night’ fic, but it’s more a semi sequel to Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra: CCC. The master, Saber Nero and Caster Tamamo have to fight in the Third Moon Cell Holy Grail War. Things are different, but it doesn’t get far. This one only has three chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2018.

Third is Fate’s Gamble by Lupine Horror. It’s a Harry Potter and Type Moon crossover that I first mentioned here. Zelretch does an experiment that ends up affecting many Harry Potters, and not always for the better. However, one ends up with Stheno and Euryale, Medusa’s sisters, in Zelretch’s universe at a young age. He becomes the Wizard Marshal’s grandson and changes his and many others’ fate. It’s completed with 88 chapters and has a sequel.

Fourth is the sequel, Fate’s Gamble Round Two by Lupine Horror. Harry’s done a lot and is asked to take the place of another counterpart that wasn’t able to fulfil the prophecy. He’s summoned with some friends, but those that summoned him aren’t getting what they expected. He decides to have fun and make some changes, for both good and bad. It’s complete, but the author wants to rewrite the whole series. Sadly, they haven’t posted anything since 2020.

Fifth is Fate’s Mistake by kb0. This is a Harry Potter 3-shot where Fate changes things the night he’s dropped off at the Dursley’s house. Things are worse for Harry until he ends up a Hogwarts, but this leads to better things happening after that. I’m not going to spoil it, but it is a Harry/Ginny story. Completed and worth a read.

Sixth is Naruto Emiya by sakurademonalchemist. The next one is actually the sequel, so this one’s first. It’s a Naruto and Fate series crossover that I’ve talked about during the last quest here. A five-year-old Naruto is found by Kiritsugu Emiya and taken in and raised with Illya. He changes many things, including how the fifth grail war goes.

Seventh is Fate/Confusion, the sequel. Naruto drags all the survivors of the fifth grail war into an alternate fourth war. It’s odd but only has three chapter and hasn’t updated since 2014.

Eighth is Fated Bonds by sakurademonalchemist. This another Naruto and Fate/Stay Night crossover, but the other direction. I’ve mentioned this one before as well, here. Archer ends up in Konoha and training Naruto and Sasuke. It has 9 chapters and was last updated in 2017.

Ninth and last is Fiery Rebirth by sakurademonalchemist. This one is a Harry Potter and KHR crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Mukuro has a secret that he reveals when he’s possessed in the Esterneo arc. He can burn like a phoenix and then grow up. However, this reveals he’s not who he thought he was and must go to a certain magic school to get his inheritance (with everyone). It has 10 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2018.

Lateness Happens – No Really

Hello, readers. Sorry this is late, I got busy and didn’t have time to write yesterday. It was been a quiet week at work and I even donated blood recently! There’s not much to say for that, though I did play Pokopia. It’s interesting, but I haven’t had time to really do much with it. Still looking for a Beta reader, but am being proactive about it.

For the listening changes, I finished Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs Vol 2 and moved on to The Eminence in Shadow Vol 2. It follows Cid as he goes to see the Sacred Land for the Goddess’s Trail. Will he allow it to happen without interrupting it with his shadow games? Obviously not. However, things end up going weird and he meets and interesting person from the past. Also, what’s this about tournament? He’ll never let things be Mundane, except himself. Read and find out.

I also finished Free Life and chose Harry Potter and the Chance at a New Life by kossboss. It’s a Harry Potter and Stargate SG-1 crossover that mentioned before here. After the battle of the chamber, the horcrux in his scar is destroyed by the basilisk’s venom. Harry inherits Tom’s memories and decides that it isn’t worth staying in the wizarding world. After making sure Tom won’t come back after 4th year, he goes through the Veil of Death and ends up in the Quantum Mirror room. He takes over a Gould and makes his own territory, changing things. It’s worth a read, but author has lots of technical descriptions. It has 19 chapters and was last updated in 2024.

Finally, I finished off Issei – The Gaming Gear and moved to the oddly named Go Away I’m Watching Porn by Third Fang. It’s another High School DxD fic, but with an OC from YAWALEH, Ghost, that I’ve mentioned before here. I’ll start off by saying there’s no sex in the fic, but porn is a common subject. Issei is a pervert, but the story is derailed when Ghost goes to find the ‘Oppai (breast) Dragon’.  Instead, he finds himself stuck as a power in a young Issei’s hand (who would become said dragon). However, things go badly sometime before the main story and Issei becomes a shut-in. [Content Warning] There is a horrible situation that happens to him, that I’m not going to reveal as it’s a mystery for a while. He is traumatized by it and for good reason. [Content Warning] It’s currently got 30 chapters and was updated last month.

Now, for the quest, first is Faith by sbmcneil. This is a Harry Potter fic that some may not be comfortable with. [Content Warning] Harry is raped by Bellatrix after his 5th year. It’s not explicit, but there it is [Content Warning]. She gives birth to a daughter and sends her back to him. This is a story about trauma and overcoming it with Ginny’s help. It’s complete with 4 chapters.

Second is Falling Iron by Arthur Hansen. This is an Iron Man and Worm crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Tony ends up in the Worm Universe (before the beginning of the story) instead of New York after redirecting the nuke in Avengers. Taylor finds and helps him. Watch as she helps him get things together in this new world. It has 14 chapters and was last updated in 2017.

Third is Famiglia Drabbles by sakurademonalchemist. This is a drabbles story based on KHR (which has been confirmed for a complete reboot!) that I’ve talked about here. It has many crossovers. There are 175 chapters and some have been made into actual stories. It was last updated late last year.

Fourth is Familia Myth: Journey to Hero by Kairomaru. This is a Familia Myth (Danmachi) AU where Bell is older when he gets to Orario. He’s wiser and more willing to respond to the women’s advances. [Content Warning] There is sex in this one, but you can skip it and it won’t affect the story [Content Warning]. It’s an interesting fic that has 43 chapters and was updated earlier this month.

Fifth and last is Farming Life In Another World by Kinosuke Naito. Hiraku dies after a long sickness and asks to be able to farm in a new world, away from other people. He works to make his farm with the tool God gave him. Many people and creatures are surprised to find him there. Watch him become a power in this world, without meaning to. This is the web novel version, so things are probably different from the light novel. I read chapters 1-837 because that was all that was translated when I read it. It now has over 1000. It has an anime and the second season was announced.

My Fic is Up!

Hello, everyone. I’ve worked and finally gotten all the added links added where they should and have the current quest list up (in A-Z order [including later ones mentioned that are prequels]). I even have a favorite list that I’ll add to as I mention more of them in posts.

Things were fine at work, but it’s been really busy. I also finally posted the first chapter of my fic on the 28th as I promised my group I would. However, one of group got back to me Thursday with recommendations for the first chapter. I spent part of the weekend (including when I would normally work on this) to finish the editing and repost it. So! Here are the links to Theurgy Thru Replevy on FF.net and AO3. I hope people enjoy it, but I’m honestly doing this for me. I’d love to write my own stories, and this is helping me. Also, I really wanted to have a completed MHA/CCS crossover even if it takes me forever.

So, onto the listening changes, I finished The Eminence in Shadow Vol 1 and moved back to Baccano! Vol 2. This is one of my favorite ones from the anime, the story of what happened on the Flying Pussyfoot train at the end of 1931, or rather, half the story. There are three groups that have their own plans for the train. Throw in two silly thieves who don’t know anything, several independents doing their own thing and the mysterious ‘Rail Tracer’. How will things turn out?

Because I didn’t post last week, I also finished that one, so now I’m on Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs Vol 2. Leon is continuing at school after the duel. Everyone hates him because they lost tons of money on the betting. Now there’s a school festival and several people are plotting against him. Will he be able to deal with it? And will anything ever happen with Livia or Angie?

Next I finished Taking Control and went to its sequel Free Life also by fake a smile. I mentioned it here before. It takes place during the summer after 6th year. Harry has escaped Dumbledore’s control and is fighting the Death Eaters that go after his students. Will he be able to see Ginny? And will things be resolved with Dumbles? Some questions are answered, but not all as it only has 6 chapters and it was last updated in 2011.

I also finished A Body Roll or Two and decided to move onto Hero Academia DxD by DinoCam1234. This one is mainly an MHA and High School DxD crossover where Izuku takes Issei’s place as the Red Dragon Emperor. It’s set in MHA and Rias is in UA already. There’re also characters from Bungou Stray Dogs (that I haven’t read or watched yet) and other anime (like Code Geass) and some MHA characters take the place of DxD characters. Its 64 chapters long and was just updated at the end of last year!

Mauling Snarks was also finished and I read the Apocrypha of the fic Mauling Canon. It’s also written by CmptrWz. It takes a different version of chap 58 and MS Taylor ends up in Canon Worm the night Taylor goes out. Shenanigans ensue. The link is to the first chapter, and it has links to all 14 chapters at the bottom.

After that I decided to listen to Issei – The Gaming Gear by Seerking again. It’s a High School DxD and The Gamer crossover I first mentioned here. Issei and his family are attacked by a rouge agent of an unknown faction, the Purifiers, before he meets Raynare and awakens his Sacred Gear. However, he has two, Boosted Gear and the Gamers Gear (Gaia). They help him defeat the Purifier, but now he has to deal with the rest. An interesting way to introduce Issei to the supernatural world, no? It has 24 chapters and sadly, Seerking still hasn’t updated this year.

In Flight was finished and I chose Heart of the Soul by sakurademonalchemist next. It’s a KHR and Ghost Hunt crossover I first mentioned here. Mai (Fem. Tsuna) breaks the seal on her flames in the middle of a case. This allows ‘Naru’s’ brother ‘Yuu-chan’ to escape where he is to her house. Now how will flames affect the supernatural? It has 21 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2017.

I completed that one and listened to Hero Class Civil Warfare by RogueDruid (Icarius51). I honestly thought I had mentioned this one before, but it’s a MHA AU where there’s a ‘civil war’ every year between the students of 1-A and 1-B. Two of them are chosen to be the leaders of the Heroes and Villains. Of course, Bakugo is chosen as the hero leader, but Izuku is chosen as the villains. Will he be able to step into the role and help his fellow ‘villains’ win? Find out as it’s complete and has a sequel and a spin-off.

Sadly, I also completed that and turned to Tome of the Orange Sky by CmptrWz again. It’s a Naruto and slight Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha crossover that I first mentioned here. Naruto finds an old and broken device and it uses the Kyuubi to help recreate itself. Now Kurama is dead and everything changes. It’s completed!

To end, my replacement for Weasley Brothers’ Enterprises is Hybird Hive – Eat Shard by CmptrWz. Its a Worm and Magical Lyrical Nanoha crossover that I first mentioned here. When Taylor triggers in the locker, a Belkan device is pulled along. It absorbs her shard and connects with her. How will magic affect this grim dark world? This one is also complete! With that said, I just put a link that shows what my current listening list is.

Finally, the quest continues! First is It’s OK Not to Be OK (But I Promise, I’m Trying) by rayrae118. It’s here because it’s the first in the series of the actual next one. In this one, McGonagall finds out what Harry is going through at the Dursleys and takes him in at the end of third year. It follows the summer after and fourth year. It’s mostly Harry/Ginny with some Ron/Hermione in there. It’s a good completed series overall and a favorite.

The actual first is Every Tear Fall Down for a Reason (But I Promise I Won’t Cry for You) by rayrae118. This one is the fifth-year story. How will this Harry deal with Umbridge? And will he learn the prophecy? All this and more!

Second is the Evil Gohan Series by Dr. Trunks Briefs. I’ve mentioned them before here and they’re no longer on ff.net. However, I found a drive that has all the fics here. Impasse has Future Gohan and Trunks coming to help with the androids, with a little helper. There it’s revealed that Gohan in the that future, snapped and needs meds to stay normal. They want to stop the androids and make sure Gohan stays sane.

Finesse is the sequel set when Gohan goes to high school. The future gang is back to make sure Gohan doesn’t snap and make sure things go well with Videl. However, they don’t expect Buu and Gohan being controlled. How will things work out?

Pavisse is the prequel, the story of Future Gohan and what happened with him.

Technically third is Exiles by kb0. This is a Harry Potter fic that goes AU after the final battle. The remaining Des take out the adults when they relax after the battle. The Ministry Six and George are captured and put in Azkaban. They escape and exile themselves rather than face trial. This one is completed with six chapters, a sad, but good read.

Lastly, fourth and the final E is Exodus by Ld1449. It’s a Worm and Big Hero 6 crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Taylor is tossed into the realm where Calhan’s daughter is at the end of Worm as Hiro and Baymax are saving her. They grab her as well and she heals. Find out how a former villain helps out the world’s first hero team. And are those new parahumans popping up? This is completed!

PoGo Tour Kalos! and Other Info

Hello everyone! As I said, this is late because I went to the Pokémon Go Tour at the Rose Bowl Stadium and the fact I’ve had things going on during the week so far that have made it so I didn’t have time to post until now. I’ll talk about that in a second, but I wanted to let everyone know that I’m taking a break from posting for a week to update the archive links. I don’t know how long ago I last caught up on the links, so I’m going to make sure they’re caught up through this post. I’ll probably also make a list of the stories from the current quest. Maybe one for my favorite fanfics/books/anime and one for what I’m listening to as well. Basically, my next post will probably be on the 8th of March.

I also made a promise to my anime group that I’d post the first chapter of my fanfic this month, so I’ll probably post that on the 28th. Its name is Theurgy Thru Replevy and my handle on fanfiction.net is TheReader2011 and on AO3 is TheReader2017. As a reminder, it’s a Cardcaptor Sakura and My Hero Academia crossover. Basically, Izuku becomes the new Cardcaptor, but it brings most if not all of the characters from Cardcaptor Sakura into the MHA world, eventually (and maybe not all in this first ‘book’). I’m going to work on the description, and I want one of my alpha(?) readers to give me a little feedback back at least on the first chapter. However, my first choice isn’t doing it, and my other four are busy themselves. I hope one of the two I’ll see on Saturday will at least give me some about the first few chapters. I’ll be looking for an actual Beta reader when I post it.

Anyway, onto the Go Tour, I got 16ish new shinnies including Xerneas, 2 Furfrou, 2 of the 4 Hat Pikachus (one gender for each hat) and some Unowns. I walked a lot and my legs are finally almost back to normal. I didn’t really interact with anyone, but that was fine. I’ll have another chance at getting more this weekend with the Global version. I got back on Monday night and was tired, so I didn’t work on this. Tuesday, I had to work on my church’s website because even though I’ve handed the upkeep to others, they didn’t know how to do something, so it fell to me. Yesterday I had another event and so it falls to today.

Work’s been fine, I’m by myself for today and tomorrow and of course this is when it gets busy. I’m not looking forward to when my supervisor gets back on Monday because he set something up right before he left on vacation and didn’t explain it very well. We asked his supervisor (and the one who’s in charge of us while he’s gone) if she knew what he wanted with it. She took off the notices he put on our desks because she didn’t feel he should set something up, not explain it, then go on vacation. However, he and I get in before she does and I’m not looking forward to having to explain why they’re not there if she hasn’t notified him beforehand.

So, my listening schedule was messed up for a little while because of the Go Tour. My text to speech app takes a lot of power and I only brought one battery pack with me (because that’s all we were supposedly allowed). I used an old phone, but it didn’t have some of the newer ones I put on the app (like the EiS and Mobuseka crossover I mentioned recently). So I just listened to Hogwarts- An Escalation by Temporal Knight. This on is a Harry Potter and Worm crossover. A slightly AU Taylor is transported to the Greengrass’ manor during a confrontation with Bakuda (who also comes along and is killed). After she figures out she’s not in Kansas anymore, she agrees to be the Greengrass sister’s bodyguard at Hogwarts. How will 5th year HP deal with the Queen of Escalation? Read and find out, slightly, as it only has 17 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2023.

I only had two changes I had in my actual schedule last week, the first was that I finished with Solidarity Among Students, Class 1-A Edition by Jetstream and had a quick listen to Weasley Brothers’ Enterprises by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a short four-chapter story where Harry asks first year, why don’t the Weasley siblings do more to earn money if they need it. He gives them suggestions and they run with it. It’s complete and a fun little story. I didn’t start the new story after that until this week, so I’ll wait until the next post to announce the replacement.

The second was that I finished Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs vol 1and decided to listen to (you guessed it) The Eminence in Shadow Vol 1 by Daisuke Aizawa. Listening to the light novel gives me a bit more insight into characters (especially the Seven Shades). The first volume goes through the school invasion arc, so there’s a lot to work through. Cid, or Shadow, is basically the same, just maybe a little more straightforward (like actually asking Gamma for money, but taking more than the grabbed even though he offered him a lot more).

Onto the quest, first is Enough by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter fic I first mentioned here. Harry has been hiding his real skills from everyone as he knows that Dumbles and his supposed friends aren’t looking out for him. He takes him NEWTS right after he passes his OWLS and escapes from England. Voldie is still defeated, but not by Harry. It’s a fun little completed 8-chapter story.

Second is Equus by sakurademonalchemist. This is a KHR and Harry Potter crossover I’ve mentioned before here. Fem Harry (Harmony) escapes from England after her 5th year and lives in Italy as a horse rancher. However, this leads her to meet and eventually marry Dino Cavallone. Everything is great, until England comes knocking. It’s an interesting fic with 17 chapters, but is, of course, incomplete and hasn’t updated since 2017.

Third is Erazerhead – The Unknown Hero by Clouds (myheadinthecoudsnotcomingdown). This one is a MHA fic where Izuku finds a piece of Eraserhead’s capture weapon and accidentally becomes a vigilante. However, no one knows except him, as they all think he’s the real one. It has 7 chapters and is still being updated every once in a while. The author has also indicated that it will only have 15 chapters.

Third is Escape From the Hokage’s Hat by anothvortex. It’s another Missing Hokage Naruto fic where he’s kicked out after bring back Sasuke that I’ve mentioned before here. In this one, Shizune, Tsunade and Hinata join him. They end up many different places and it currently ends up with the Hidden Village of the Star arc. It’s a good read and has 42 chapters, however it was last updated in 2012.

Fourth is Eternal Sands by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Harry Potter and Aladdin crossover. Fem Harry (Acacia) finds Jafar’s lamp and releases him. They get along well and end up together (the author tells Aladdin from Jafar’s perspective with more world building). There’s more to it, but more importantly, this one is actually finished with 11 chapters.

Fifth and finally is Even the Wizards Must Pay Their Due by Gamma Cavy. This is Harry Potter and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover. The Harry Potter world is ‘Outside’ and Ed and Al are sent to investigate. Dumbles tries to control Ed and he snaps the Deathstick and steals young Harry. When the wizards eventually get to the FMA world, the main battle is done and they’ll learn, as the title says. It’s complete with 16 chapters.

Sorry For Missing Last Week

Hello, readers. Sorry I didn’t post last week. I just got busy and kept putting it off. So, I decided to just do a double long post this week. It’s been a couple of slow weeks at work. I managed to deduce who got the position last Friday and I guess it makes sense because she is bilingual and has more contact with the other locations. However, this is the second time someone originally from that position has gotten the job over me. It’s kinda annoying.

Anyway, I’ve also been spending time reorganizing my Pokemon Home to make space for the Alphas from Z-A. I’ve used a data site to help me do so and now I have all the spaces I need for when it is able to connect. I also need to get rid of some photos from my phone because I have like 40 GBs of it and I’m like, how? It’s mostly because I don’t get rid of screenshots I don’t need anymore.

On to what I’ve been listening to, I finished In Another World with My Smartphone Vol 6 and that’s where I’ll stop this one as I don’t think I’ve read more than that. So I started Baccano! Vol 1 By Ryohgo Narita and Katsumi Enami. It’s an interesting series I actually found through the anime years ago.

It’s about alchemists who summoned a demon in the 1700s to make themselves immortal. Only the leader was given the recipe to make more immortals. He told part of it to his brother, only to decide there wouldn’t be any more immortals. The thing is that they could die by someone putting their right hand on the person’s head and ‘eating’ them, getting their knowledge. Another immortal ‘eats’ his brother instead of him and escapes. Go forward to the time of prohibition, the immortal is still trying to make the correct recipe. His people succeed, however a ‘not’ mafia gang and two oddball thieves accidentally gets involved and their might be another immortal involved. It’s fun and the other novels go to different time periods, including 2001 (excluding that the story is being told to someone in 2002).

It very interesting and has many different characters it follows. The anime is silly and jumps between different parts in the story to make it more interesting. It only has the one season, but there might be more eventually.

After I finished Baccano!, I started Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs vol 1 by Yomu Mishima. Yes, I did this because of Life’s a Pay to Win Game.  I’ve never read the light novels, just read the manga and seen the anime (along with fanfics I’ve read). Actually, I might have read the webnovel at some point, I think. I’ve already explained the base of this series, but this volume covers through a bit after the mecha fight with the five idiots (based on the chap titles).

Next, I finished with Amor Enim Vult and decided to listen to A Body Roll or Two by TheAmazingWadey. It’s a Miraculous Ladybug fic that I’ve mentioned before in the current quest, here. It’s set during their college years after Adrian left with his father to America. During the intervening years, Marinette has gotten in Bachata and goes into an audition. She succeeds and finds that recently returned Adrian is her partner. How will this go and will they ever reveal their identities? You can find out, but sadly it’s about one chapter short (I think, an epilogue would be good) and hasn’t been updated since 2017.

Following that, I finished Beyond the Outer Gate Lies and decided to listen to The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor by Heesung Nam. It’s a Korean webnovel that’s been translated online. The link will take you to the first chapter and you can read most of it there, but you’ll have to search out the rest online like I did. It’s about Lee Hyun, a 20-year-old orphan and a high school dropout. He just became an adult and was finally allowed to work legally. He decides to sell his old game account instead of deleting it. This makes news because he’s the highest player in the game. He gets over 3 billion won for it and starts to make things better for his sister and grandmother. However, the loan sharks that drove him to leave high school come for most of it because of his father’s debt. Hyun decides to train for a year with the money left over and then join the new VR game Royal Road to gain money that way. He’ll eventually become the Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (against his will) and have many adventures. It has 58 ‘volumes’ and is complete.

Finally, I also finished The Winged Lord and Lady of the Skies by LilyannaSpiritOfTheCheetah. I continued with Countdown to Destruction the first one-shot. I’ve mentioned it before here, but it’s the fanfic storyline of the end of Power Rangers In Space. After that it was Forever Red, the second one-shot. This one follows the crossover of the same name, in the Winged Lord storyline. However, Tommy and Kim’s daughter is kidnapped as part of it, and he doesn’t tell Kim. I’m sure you can see how that’ll end. Now I’m ready to read the sequel!

After I finished those, I decided to listen to Solidarity Among Students, Class 1-A Edition by Jetstream. This is a My Hero Academia fic told through chat-logs. After the elections, Eraserhead creates a class chat and the usual shenanigans happen. Relationships happen because of it (including homosexual ones [Don’t Like, Don’t Read]). The main ones are: Toru/Mashirao, Kyoka/Momo and Izuku/Ochaco(With maybe Tsuyu later). It’s fun with 33 chapters, but is sadly unfinished and hasn’t updated since 2021.

Onto the quest, first is Elemental Sky by sakurademonalchemist. This is a KHR and Naruto crossover that I’ve talked about before here. Basically Nana is sisters with Gaara and his siblings mother. Fem. Tsuna (Nozomi) learns of this when she’s ten and goes to visit them. She’s able to keep Shukaku calm and allow Gaara to sleep. She ends up going with the siblings to Konoha for the Chunin exams and changes things. It has 9 chapters and sadly hasn’t updated since 2018.

Second is Elimination by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Naruto AU one-shot set after Mizuki’s betrayal. Someone sets things up for three of the new graduates to die before the team announcements. They are Sakura, Sasuke and a random other graduate. This leads the Hokage to change the teams and Naruto ends up with two new characters. How will this change things?

Third is Elves by kb0. This is Harry Potter one-shot where the Potters had an elf. She follows Hagrid to the Dursleys and calls other elves to help free him from unwanted magics. This includes the Horcux. She takes him away and sets things up for the Horcuxes to be destroyed. Her actions even manage to accidentally free Sirius. It’s a fun little fic.

Fourth is Embracing Destiny by White Angel of Auralon. This one I talked about last post here. Fifth is Emerald Flight Book One: Union by megamatt09. This is a Harry Potter and Superman: The Animated Series crossover with Harry/Kara. Harry and Kara meet at Vegas after fifth year (though Sirius faked his death) and the end of the Superman series and get married. This has lots of consequences, but they’ll get through it together. [Content Warning] All three of this series are Mature fics with sex scenes like all of this author’s fics. [Content Warning]

Sixth is the sequel Emerald Flight Book Two: Conqueror by megamatt09. It’s been a year since they got married and Harry and Kara are dealing with a lot. However, Zod is on his way and the two add several other Karas to their relationship. Seventh is the final Emerald Flight Book Three: New Krypton by megamatt09. Harry and his Kara wives have dealt with Zod, but now Darkseid is back and they have to deal with him and whatever else comes. This is the last book in this series.

Eigth is Endothermic Reaction by ShamelessWhisper. This is a My Hero Academia AU. Izuku is born with a quirk, but it’s too powerful and can harm people if he makes a sound. After an accident after getting his quirk he’s worked to never speak. He gets into UA, but not everyone thinks he should be a hero. In fact, Tomura actively wants him on his side. However, Ochaco wants him to stay with her. What happens? We’re told, but the story is incomplete. The author didn’t want to write to rest and so just did a summary in the last ‘chapter’. Put this in here before the last chapter, lots of angst and not many happy things make me think I’ll probably delete this fic from my app.

Ninth and last is Energy Materialization by Layser_22. This is another MHA AU where Izuku has a quirk. However, that doesn’t mean he’s not an outlier anyway. In this universe, only women got quirks and men gradually stopped being born. Now there aren’t any men until Izuku is born. How will his life go as the only man in a world of superpowered women? It has 14 chapters and has been on extended hiatus since 2021.

Hello, readers. Sorry this is late, once again getting links has made me late. I have to sadly report that I didn’t get the position. Apparently, I made it into the top 5, but someone else was chosen. I don’t know who as it hasn’t been announced, but I really hope it’s someone from outside and not inside the company. Anyway, we’re busy now with an event coming up, so I’m putting off thinking about other things (maybe finding another job as I won’t leave until I have another job) until after that’s done.

I have a few changes in my listening list; first is that, on Audible, I finished Reborn as a Space Mercenary vol 13 and then read By the Grace of the Gods vol 8. Ryoma helps out at his friend’s wedding before heading home. However, he soon leaves to go help out another set of friend’s village. There he’ll have many interesting experiences, including his first negative interaction with a God. Read and find out how things go!

I also finished with that one and started In Another World with My Smartphone vol 6. Touya is searching for a part of Babylon that can help him fight the Phrase. However, things aren’t as easy as that. Especially when one of his friends comes to him begging to become his fiancée as well. Otherwise, she’ll might be engaged to a vile prince. How will he deal with this situation? Read and see!

I also finished My Heroic Drabbles by sakurademonalchemist and decided to read Beyond the Outer Gate Lies by gaberiel blessing. It’s a Harry Dresden and High School DxD crossover I’ve mentioned it before here. A Harry from the later books, ends up in the void battling the Those Who Came. He defeats them, but after escaping from Great Red, he ends up in Kouh de-aged to a teenager. His humor and interactions with the supernatural elements is hilarious after he gets used to the fact things are different from his world. This is complete and even has spin off fics from another author.

Forging Destiny by White Angel of Auralon is completed as well as it’s sequel – Embracing Destiny. This one is for Harry’s fourth year after the events of Forging Destiny. Sirius is free and Minister. He interferes and changes the tournament to make it more interesting. Now Harry is able to enter if he wants and be part of a team. How will it go and will Dumbles manage to get Harry back on his side? Find out part of it as the 17 chapters end in the middle of the second task. The author hasn’t been back to this one since 2017, even though they’ve written a lot after.

When I finished with that one I started Taking Control by fake a smile. It’s an after fifth year Harry Potter fic that I’ve mentioned before here. Sirius visits Harry the summer after his death to help him prepare for what’s the come. This includes teaching him magic and how to become an animagus! However, Dumbles doesn’t exactly like Harry’s new plans and Hermione and Ron keep sticking their feet in their mouths. Ginny, however, is his biggest supporter. It’s complete and even has a sequel.

Finally, I finished vol 4 of Dahlia in Bloom – Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools, where I remember leaving off, I really need to finish the series at some point. I decided to restart and relisten to Life’s a Pay to Win Game by UnholyExcaliber as part of the cycle. It’s fun and I don’t mind listening to it again now that I’ve finished all the current chapters (109 just came out).

Onto the quest; first is Dumbledore’s Army by Bobmin356. It’s a sixth year Harry Potter fic that I’ve mentioned before here. Harry gets a magically spelled letter from his dead parents and Sirius (spelled before Lily died, but from their spirits) telling him how to get his life in order. A retired American squib helps him and his friends get ready for the war. It’s Harry/Ginny and has some dark scenes. It’s completed and has a sequel!

Second is the last of the D’s – Dusk and Dawn by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Harry Potter and My Little Pony crossover I’ve talked about before here. Fem. Harry (Dawn) is really Twilight’s sister who was stolen by Fawkes. She finds a spell to take her home after the trial goes wrong before 5th year. She and Sirius take it and interact with the MLP cast. It has 14 chapters and was last updated in 2014.

Third is the first of the E’s – Earning Her Stripes by ack1308. This is a Worm AU where the trio (yes, those ones) get three power granting vials. Emma and Madison take them and join Sophia in becoming superheroes. However, they want their own villain so dose Taylor. However, as things do, she Escalates. How will things go? Read and see. It has 48 chapters currently and was last updated last year.

Fourth is Effects and Side Effects by Pheonix Dawn. This is an end of 5th year Harry Potter AU that I’ve mentioned before here. Harry is turned into a girl after the Department of Mysteries when Voldie makes Draco give Harry a potion to get his soul fragment back (yes, he figured it out when he possessed Harry). However, Harry fights back and becomes more powerful. Eight school-age witches decide to help him and swear an oath to do so. Of course, this magically marries them and they all train to fight. It has 37 chapters and was last updated in 2015.

Fifth and last is Elemental Harry by hermyd. This one is another Harry Potter sixth year AU. Harry and Ginny get elemental powers after his fifth year. They have to bond to control their powers (like the werewolves from Twilight, but from both sides [the author said that, not me[). How will having the power affect the fight against the dark? You’ll know if you read as it’s complete with 12 chapters.

Long Traveling Weekend

Hello, friends. It’s been a long week with a lot of driving. It’s the reason why this will be late. I helped my parents with an event this weekend and it involved four-hour trips Friday-Sunday, with the ones on Friday and Sunday getting to the locations after 8. Along with the fact I helped with the event on Saturday and Sunday, left not much time to write.

My interview went fine as far as I know, but I won’t know if I got the position until later in the week as they’re still interviewing. Hopefully I’ll have something to tell you next post. Because of everything, I didn’t really have a chance to do much game wise.

So, I didn’t change much of what I’m listening to this week, because I started listening to something else entirely for a good part of the week and only today got back on track. Why you ask? Because I was having a lot of fun with this fic, Life’s a Pay to Win Game by UnholyExcaliber.

This is a crossover between two reincarnated light novels that have an anime, Mobseka (or The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) and The Eminence in Shadow. Mobseka is about Leon who recinarnated into the world of an otome (a dating sim for young girls) that he was forced to play by his younger sister. He died after playing it and ends up as a lower noble in the countryside. He goes looking for a high level item he paid for to help him in the game after he learns he’s going to be sold off to an old lady and possibly killed. He finds it and ends up at the academy. Will he be able to distance himself from the events of the game? And is he the only reincarnator? Find out in this 13-novel series. It also has another set of novels that follows a different route (from one point of view).

The Eminence is Shadow is about Cid, a boy who wants to be one pulling the strings behind the story, hence the title. He has trained to be one most of his life in secret, while trying to be a ‘mob’ character the rest of the time. He seriously tries to think of a way to defeat a nuke. His is run over by a truck (totally his own fault, btw) and is reincarnated into a world with magic. He decides to play his game here and ends up bringing in girls that he accidentally saved from a disease by messing around. He tells the first (that he names Alpha) a made-up story about a cult trying to resurrect a demon and him fighting against them. However, it turns out to be true and they girls he saves make an organization to fight them. He doesn’t know that it’s real and refuses to see reason, and no-one in his organization realizes this. It’s amusing and the “I AM ATOMIC” in the anime is awesome! Also, a movie is coming out sometime this year!

So, in the fanfic, the two worlds they’re reincarnated into are fused and their origins are altered. While Leon is searching for his item and Cid is going to ‘rescue’ his sister, they end up meeting and changing both their fates from the original. This is a massive fic, and the author does a great job on it. There’s a lot more to their histories and the origins of their whole world. It’s got 108 chapters on AO3, but that includes more than few omakes. I started reading it sometime last week and was hooked! I haven’t finished it, but I wanted to re-listen to it while on my long drives and had a lot of fun! This is worth a read and it was just updated with 108 today!

Finally, moving onto the quest, first is Door to Destiny by sakurademonalchemist. This is a KHR and Kingdom Hearts crossover. Fem Tsuna (Fem Sora) is cast off of her world when her flames are sealed. She wakes up on Destiny Islands and becomes Sora. How will this affect things and will she ever return? These questions are partially answered as it has 13 chapters. Sadly, it hasn’t updated since 2019.

Second is Double Trouble by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Bleach and Harry Potter crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. It’s a Tatsuki is fem Harry story, but she’s also a Soul Reaper long before Ichigo gets his powers. It gets a bit weird, but when doesn’t it from this author. It has 22 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2012.

Third is Drabble Ball Z by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a compilation fic for one and two shots about Dragon Ball Z. There are only 7 chapters and four fics. One with Ranma ½ where Ranma is de-aged and found by Chichi and Goku, one where Fem Trunks is de-aged and ends up growing up with Gohan, one where Fem Harry is actually Vegeta’s daughter with Lily, and the last one has Fem Harry in Trunks timeline where she survives getting attacked by the androids (timelines don’t work without shenanigans, but the author wrote it anyway). It was last updated in 2022.

Fourth is Dreams by Epeefencer. Harry is rejected by Ginny before the final battle but sacrifices himself to save her. He wakes up in his second year confused. He decides to help Ginny as much as he can. However, he keeps blacking out and waking up a while later. What’s going on and how can he fix things? I’m not sure we’ll know as it only has 16 chapters and was last updated in 2017. The author hasn’t posted anything since 2022 either.

Fifth and last is Duel Nephillim by Night Raydes. It’s a one-chapter Harry Potter story, that used to be longer. I’ve talked about it before here. Harry is born a twin but is the ‘devil’ one to his sister’s ‘angel’. After confronting Vodlie, Lily sends Harry with Bella (who’s on her side) and trains her daughter, Rosette. That’s it, but with more information. I’ve mentioned about this author before, so don’t expect more, maybe ever.

A Busy Week

Hello, readers! It’s been another week and things are mostly the same. I did get an interview date for the job next week. Based on previous experience, I don’t think I’ll hear back until closer to the end up for the month about the job, but here’s hoping! I did a lot of driving on Friday and it tired me out. I haven’t done much reading for the quest this week because of starting to study Spanish. Because of that I don’t think I’ll be able to finish the last S this month, but I need to do this, so it is what it is. Because of previously mentioned stuff, I also haven’t really had a chance to try and find Alpha ? Unown.

I also finally posted the first chapter of my fic on a My Hero Academia discord to get feedback and edits yesterday. Sadly, no-one has looked it over yet, so we’ll see how it goes.

So, my listening changes this week are – I finished In Another World with My Smartphone Vol 5 and started Reborn as a Space Mercenary vol 13 as it finally came out on Audible!  This one’s always fun and I like getting back to it once in a while. Captain Hiro is back and he’s planning to head back to his second stop to officially add Doctor Shoko to his crew, however first, he has to deal with a giant space monster being unsealed. And even when he gets there, someone is waiting with a grudge. Listen to the latest book of Hiro’s misadventures!

I also got to a point I didn’t remember in A Hero Rises by Zabeck and so I switched to the compilation fic My Heroic Drabbles by sakurademonalchemist. I’ve talked about it recently here, though the posts after that one have more information on specific stories in it.

That’s it, so it’s time for the quest – first is Displacement by cloud_nine_and_three_quarters. This is an MHA story set at some point after they leave UA and Izuku still has One-For-All. Izuku is thought to have been killed two years ago and Bakugo is still chasing the villain that did it. However, things are not as they seem and he wasn’t killed, just displaced, in time. This is great fic and is even completed, worth a read.

Second is Distance Learning for Fun and Profit by mp3.1415player. This is a Worm AU where Taylor is very smart without powers and manages to make a machine that can pick up what she assumes is alien learning programs. She uses them to learn how to make things that aren’t tinker tech and confuses the world. There’s no Emma conflict in this one as she’s been in a coma since the attack. Sadly incomplete, but I hope it gets finished eventually.

Third is actually a omake of the previous story – Distress Calls Can Go a Long Way by mp3.1415player. It’s a Mass Effect crossover where Tali’Zorah is stranded in a dead ship and manages to make a weird gravity machine to help bring her help. However, it gets the attention of Taylor and she makes contact. Tali’Zorah and her people are in for some interesting times. Also incomplete, but at a good stopping point.

Fourth is Do I Have a Purpose Anymore? by Kingkakashi. This is a Naruto fic with a bit of Bleach crossover. After having all three of his girlfriends be stolen from him by their teammates, Naruto has enough. He leaves the village to find his purpose, however people just won’t let him be for one reason or another. Also he finds out that swords have souls, what’s that about? This is a heart-wrenching story that is complete! Also, don’t read if you like Kiba, that’s all I’ll say.

Fifth is Do You Even Lift? By TanJaded. This one is Youjo Senki two-shot about Tanya/Visha. Visha finds out about Tanya’s muscles when she walks in on Tanya winning a competition in the gym. This leads to her mouth getting ahead of her and blurting out a suggestion. Tanya takes that as a challenge and that’s history. A fun little fic.

Sixth and final is Dodging Prison and Stealing Witches – Revenge is Best Served Raw by LeadVonE . This is a wrong Boy-Who-Lived Harry Potter time travel fic that I’ve talked about before here. Harry is sent to Azkaban at the end of his second year for supposedly killing Ginny (his brother’s [John] girlfriend). He stays there for many years until after Voldemort takes over. He’s accidentally sent through the Veil of Death and Death and Fate show up. It turns out this is the second time through and last time they sent John back even though he wasn’t the Boy-Who-Lived. This time they send him back even farther. The catch? The John that was sent back will be there too eventually. He decides to get the good witches first while working the political landscape to his liking. However, this doesn’t mean things won’t go wrong. This is a very interesting fic with 69 chapters; however it hasn’t been updated since late 2024.

Finished the Alpha Dex!

Hello, readers! I’m back and on time! This week was fine as I went back to work. A position in another department that I’m qualified for has opened up again and I applied again. I also finally got the Spanish workbook from the company that I’ve been trying to get for quite a while, but that’s because there are a lot of Spanish speakers here and it’s a prerequisite for most of the higher level positions.

Moving onto the Pokémon: Legends Z-A, as the title says I finally pretty much finished the Alpha Dex! I have all the new Alphas (including their regional forms and other forms) except for evolving Alpha Feebas and the other three Pumpkaboo sizes. I’m seriously considering getting another copy of the game just to trade, but I’m willing to wait for now as I have the needed unevolved forms. Now I’m getting back to Pokemon: Legends Arceus to get the final Alphas I need from it; ? Unown, Cranidos, Rampados, Shieldon, Bastidon and Oshawott. I’m focusing on ? Unown for now, but I hope to get it soon.

Next is what I’m listening to, I actually finished By The Grace of the Gods Vol 7 before I posted my last post, but as it was on like Tuesday, I decided to leave it for today. So, now I’m listening to In Another World with My Smartphone Vol 5. In it, Touya has to deal with the fact that he’s now the Grand Duke of his own country and get it set up. While that’s happening he gets an envoy from a Theocracy and they seem intent on making him change the religion of his new country to theirs. As Touya has met God, he refuses. How will this turn out!

I also got to the chapters I hadn’t read yet for Harry Potter, Squatter by Enterprise1701-d so I decided to switch to Forging Destiny by White Angel of Auralon. This is a 3rd year Harry Potter AU. Harry finds Sirius after he runs away and is convinced to stay with him. It has some tropes like, having good goblins, manipulative Dumbles, suppressed Harry and multiple lordships. It’s an interesting fic, there’s not really a love interest and best of all, it’s completed! It even has a sequel!

Also finished is Ashs Just Reward by The Warmongers of Simora so I decided to listen to The Winged Lord and Lady of the Skies by LilyannaSpiritOfTheCheetah. This is because the last fic in the series is coming up on my reading list and I want to finish it before then. My calculations put it potentially in late Feburary or early March, but who knows? Any way, I talked about it recently, so here’s a link to it.

Now, onto the quest; first is Devil Arts Online by Greatazuredragon. This is Sword Art Online and High School DxD crossover. After getting free of the game and freeing Asuna, she’s hurt by Sugou and ends up in a coma. Kirito makes a wish for her to be saved and ends up summoning Rias. Rias is happy to grant his wish (this is set after Asia joins), however when she calculates what the price is, it keeps coming up with him joining her peerage. She does, but soon ends up back at the hospital to grant Asuna a wish, thus completing her peerage. She doesn’t know why they were chosen, but maybe they’ll be a help? Also, who’s this devil asking about them? This is a fun one, with the basic story based off another fic later on my list (a long one-shot). Sadly incomplete with 32 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2018 (though the author posted to another story almost a year ago).

Second is Different Than You Dream by brown phantom. It’s a Ranma ½ Au where Akane dreamed the whole story before it started. She sees how she acted and wants a new start. However, when Ranma shows up, it’s immediately obvious that things are different. Eventual Ranma/Akane/Shampoo/Ukyo. This one is also incomplete with 25 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2016. The author has posted to plenty of other stories, but hasn’t completed this one for some reason.

Third is Direct Thee To Peace by Umei no Mai. This is the sequel of Compass of My Soul. It’s a Naruto Clan Wars AU. Kita (SI) has managed to convince the Uchiha and Senju to work towards a lasting peace between them with both sets of brothers alive. Now all she to is navigate the peace talks and what comes after. The village is set up, but things are different from how we know them. How will this new Konoha survive in the end of the clan wars? It is complete and there are no more sequels.

Fourth is Dirty Little Secret by QueenKalasin. This a Harry Potter 7th book AU. [Content Warning – there are quite a few underage sex scenes. Don’t Like, Don’t Read.] Harry and Ginny decide to fake breaking up at the end of his 6th year to get Voldy off her back. She sneaks over to Privet Drive after the Dursleys take a vacation and leave him alone. They spend a few days alone. Everyone goes back to Hogwarts and Harry and Ginny have a strange back and forth. A fun and overly emotional fic (especially at the end). And it’s finished!

Fifth and last is Discovering the Legend 1-3 by RoseDragonWitch. This is another Harry Potter characters read the books from the early 2010s. I think this one is the author because there’s an ending fic. They reference that they finished book 4, but my copy only goes through most of book 3. Remus visits the castle during the Order of Phoenix and finds the first 4 books in the Room of Requirement. He takes them back to Grimmwald Place and reads them with Sirus and later other order members. It’s interesting, but I wish I had the rest of the story. (I looked it up and I can find more, but it’ll take a little work)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, readers! Sorry this is so late, I got caught up in other things and kept forgetting to finish the post. Hopefully your new year was better than mine. A close family member accidentally got hurt and I took them to the emergency room. They were able to be back before the turn of the year, but we don’t know how long they’ll have to deal with the effects. However, it’s not as bad as we thought, so that’s good.

Other than that, I’ve finished the DCL Pokédex, but I’m still working on the Alpha dex for both (though I’m only missing Aerodactyl for the main original and trade and evolve the other alpha Pumpkaboo sizes [after I find the largest one]). Some time I’ll talk about what I’m watching for the current season, but I’ll leave that to another time.

The listening changes are – I finished That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Vol 3 and am now listening to By The Grace of the Gods Vol 7. In it, Ryoma visits the Duke’s house and helps set up for a wedding. He also gets a slave for the first time to help work towards helping rehabilitate criminals.

Also, it turns out last week, I forgot to include that had finished In Another World with My Smartphone Vol 4 as I had gotten to Slime Vol 3 by the end. In this one, Touya goes looking for the second Babylon section. However, the Phrase are still causing problems. Also, he makes a bookshop and ends up helping during a military coup in another country. What will happen next.

Next, I finished Usagi’s Struggles: Revelations From the Future by Serena530 and I decided to listen to In Flight by gabriel blessing. This is an Unlimited Blade Works Shirou (Fate series) and Sekirei crossover. In this one, Shirou is really the main character (Minato) who lost his memories in the fire. He accidentally finds his birth mother while running from the Clocktower and ends up living in Shinto Teito. The Sekirei around are something to be on guard about and use to hide him from the Clocktower. That is until he ends up winging one (or a few) and ends up in another hidden tournament. How will he change things? This is a great completed fic and one of my favorites. I may have to post the silliness the Omakes of this one spawned. There’s even an ‘Emiya Clan’ based on this that crosses over with many stories.

Finally, I reached Vol 11 of The Irregular at Magic High School. This is as far as I wanted to listen to, so the rest will have to wait until I get to it on the list. So I decided to listen to one not from the list, Dahlia in Bloom – Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools by Hisaya Amagishi. It’s an Isekai light novel that follows Dahlia, a magical tool crafter. On the eve of their marriage, her arranged fiancé tells her that he’s found true love and calls off the marriage. This causes her to realize that she’s changed herself to satisfy him and decides to take her life back, by focusing on her work. During a trip, she saves Volf, a noble soldier who had been taken away by a monster. Now their destinies are entwined, the question is – will either ever realize they like each other? It’s a fun and ongoing series and it even has an anime (which isn’t great, but it’s not bad either).

Now, onto the quest, first is Desperately Seeking Ranma by PixelWriter1. This is one that I’ve talked about a few times before, starting here. It’s a Ranma ½ (with slight Sailor Moon crossover at first that becomes more blatant later) AU after the end of the story and things go wrong. Ranma and Kasumi run away, and the Nerima Wrecking Crew is searching for them. This one is written following Nabiki, occasionally others, but mostly her. She manages to find them years later, but many things have changed. It’s very good and long, however the author hasn’t updated it in 9 and ½ years and not posted an update on their profile in almost 4 years. It might be dead, but until I hear it is, I’ll still hold out hope.

Second is the first of the side stories for the above fic, a one-shot It All Started At The Museum. This is the actual first fic in the collection as it is the story of how the OCs (Aiko, Tamiko, Fumiko and Misaki) get their magical girl powers. It’s silly and a bit traumatic for them.

Third is the next story, another one-shot, When Ranma Met Aiko (and Tamiko and Fumiko and Misaki). This one is the story of how (as the title says) Ranma met the OCs before the end of Ranma ½. This one has a very angry Ranma, the magical girls and a demon. Oh, and Ranma dresses-up as a magical girl as well.

Fourth is the two-shot Aftermath. This one actually has the incident where Ranma and Kasumi leave. The first chapter is from Kasumi’s POV and the second one is Ranma’s POV.

Fifth is the final side story, another one-shot The Fugitives. It directly follows the previous one and tells how the two get set up to end up where they are at the beginning of DSR.

Sixth is Destiny is a Hazy Thing by Calanor. This is a massively AU Naruto fic. A fallen fragment of a God ends up in the Naruto world and teams up with the Kyuubi to help heal itself. They decide take a young Naruto in and raise him their way (in a mind-scape). This leads to a different Naruto and a changed landscape as what they did caused massive changes. It’s a great fic with 45 chapters, however it sadly hasn’t been updated since 2014.

The seventh and final is Detective Midoriya by rogueptoridactyl. This is a My Hero Academia AU where Izuku takes All Might’s words to heart and works to become a police officer. Tsukauchi wasn’t expected Izuku to become an officer so quickly, but he’s not going to allow All Might to cause his new colleague to die. It’s an interesting fic, but sadly only has 47 chapters and was last updated in 2021.
