Listening Changes and Life Update

Hello, readers! It’s been two weeks and I hope you’ve been having fun and keeping busy. I’ve been doing that with learning what I need to do for my new position! There’s a lot to learn and I’m glad everyone’s willing to help me learn it. In other news, it’s becoming more of a pain to look up the first time I’ve mentioned a fic, so I won’t be adding that link to the fanfic descriptions anymore.

I’m also still going through my Pokémon card collection. I’ve got all the extras out and now I’m going through them to see if there are any that people online are interested in. There’s still a lot of bulk, but some are worth a bit. I’ve also started scanning my dvd/blu-ray collection to make a cloud drive so the household can watch them without having to ask me for them and also not rent a movie when I have it because they don’t know/remember about it.

Though I haven’t had as much time to listen, it’s been two weeks and I was close to finishing a few fics so there’s more than what I thought had changed. This is what has changed; first is that I finished Now I’m a Demon Lord! Happily Ever After with Monster Girls in My Dungeon Vol 1 and moved onto Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Vol 2. In this one Mukouda continues to travel with his two familiars; Fel and Sui. He’s just arrived in a country and learns he has to re-register with the Adventure’s guild because he’s hasn’t been able to do a quest in a while because of traveling. He aims to slowly build up his rank before continuing on his journey, but will his familiars have something to say about that. Also, it seems more goddesses have learned about him and is this a new familiar? Read all about it in this volume.

I also finished that one and moved onto She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 5. In this one, Mira continues to look into clues about her missing comrades. She rides the incongruous train to follow the trail looking for Soul Howl. With new comrades and her summons will she get any closer to finding anyone? Find out in this volume.

I also finally finished A Young Girls War Between the Stars and decided to relisten to the DSR series by PixelWriter1, starting from the prequel stories. First is It All Started At The Museum. This one is a one-shot that tells the story of how the four OC magical girls in the main story got their powers and started to do magical girl work. Second is When Ranma Met Aiko (and Tamiko and Fumiko and Misaki). This one is another one-shot that like the title says, is about how Ranma met the four previously mentioned magical girls. This one is set a while before the end of Ranma ½.

Third is Aftermath. This one is a two-shot that tells what happened in the incident after the failed wedding at the end of Ranma ½ from both Kasumi and Ranma’s POVs. The last prequel story is The Fugitives. This directly follows the previous and shows the two how got away started hiding from the Narima Wrecking Crew and were able to live their own life.

Finally, I’m now onto the main fic, Desperately Seeking Ranma. This is a crossover between Ranma ½ and Sailor Moon, but SM is on the sidelines until the later chapters. However, the last arc has been dealing with them. It tells the story of Ranma and Kasumi as magical girls, but told from the POV of Nabuki. She eventually finds them and ends up getting sucked into their orbit (and become a magical girl too). It’s fun and a great fic with 98 chapters. Sadly, it hasn’t been updated since 2016, but the author likes to post that they’ll finish it. Their last post on their profile was in 2022 though.

While not finished, I momentarily paused Black Sky because there was a side story to read, Yesterday’s Tomorrow by Umei no Mai. This one tells of Tsuna’s experiences in the fake future; something he can tell immediately, because *spoiler* he’s not the tenth anymore as he lost the ring battles *spoiler*. He thinks of it more like a video game, and to be frank, it acts like it. This one is finished with 3 longer chapters. Now that it’s finished, it’s back to the main fic and the consequences of that happening, and Dorea and Xanxus are not happy.

Next we finally finished the Game On series that I’d already read. I finished Game On! 3.2 and moved onto Game on! 3.5. This is a one-shot that is the transition chapter between the 3.0 stories and 4.0. It shows how the world changes from Earth to the world of the Naruto world. Tuskiko is much diminished because of helping her people and the aftermath of the human’s war. This is interesting and shows how things are different and the same in this new Naruto world.

When I finished that one, I decided to relisten to Life’s a Pay to Win Game by UnholyExcaliber. If you don’t remember this one, it’s a crossover between Mobseka (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs) and The Eminence in Shadow. The two worlds are merged and both MCs are born in their respective families. The author does a fantastic job of mixing both plots and making them make sense and interesting. It’s currently complete with 117 chapters, but the author essentially paused it because there’s not much more story for EiS and most likely will continue when either several volumes of it comes out or it finishes.

Next is more side stories for Stories of the Lone Traveler, but we’re actually almost to the end of this story in the list. The first one is Lone Traveler: Babylon 5 Universes. This one contains all the Babylon 5 crossovers from this ficlets, eventually separated because many people (like me) haven’t watched it and so don’t know much about the characters. It has 18 chapters and is listed as completed. I haven’t finished it because I’m focused on the chapters directly referenced in the main story at this time.

The second one is Lone Traveler: Initiative and is with a crossover world with both Buffy and West Wing in it. LT Harry appears when the military is messing around in Sunnydale. He goes to the president and is lucky because he happened to save Josh’s sister from the fire (that killed her in the main series) in the past. How will they handle it? It’s an interesting little story and is also complete with 8 chapters.

The third and the one I’m currently on, is Lone Traveler: The Greatest Minister in History. LT Harry shows up right after Fudge is elected and helps him to become a competent minister and deal with issues so Harry doesn’t have to. Thus, he becomes the title. It’s also complete with 17 chapters.

Skittering Campione was also completed and I chose to listen to Seerking’s Asylum for Plot Bunnies That Won’t Stop Bugging Me by Seerking. This one is archive of Worm AU first chapters and sometimes first arcs of stories that the author didn’t want to continue and left for others to use if they wanted to (and give them credit). It’s mostly Taylor getting other powers or where things went differently in the main story. There are many crossovers and I’ve talked about most of them before. This author still hasn’t posted at all since last year, but the last time this one was in 2024.

Lastly, I finished My Hero Academia: The Golden Light of Hamon and decided to add a recently finished fic and listen to it. The Finding by kb0 is Harry Potter fic where Harry and Ginny touch before he leaves on the train before first year and have a Greater Finding. This is in essence them finding the best person for them, there are also Lesser Findings (that Arthur and Molly have). This and Harry’s wandless magic that he’s been using for a while are the main first changes. He decides to live at the Burrow and learn magic with Ginny for his first year. There are many more changes in the 39 chapters of the story. It’s worth a read.

Now it’s time for the quest stories; first is Harry Potter and the Bonds of Blood by Darth Marrs. This is a darker soul bond story. Riddle tries to take Ginny’s soul before he’s destroyed but Harry saves her. However, things don’t go back the way they came and their bonded. This is not all good, as they are not automatically in love and clash. They have learn to live with each other and survive. This is complete with 52 chapters.

Second is Harry Potter and the Chance at a New Life by kossboss. This one is a crossover with Stargate: SG1. Harry combines with Riddle’s memories after the basalisk vemon destroys the Horcrux. This eventually leads him to decide to leave the wizarding world (after years of preparation) through the Veil, which is really their version of the Quantum Mirror. He comes out from Stargate’s Mirror long before SG1 finds it. He takes over Pelops when he tries to possess him. Watch as Harry takes over and makes his own kingdom to fight for the galaxy. It’s incomplete with 19 chapters and was last updated in 2024.

Third is the last fic in a series *Content Warning* There is sex, quite a bit, in all of these. As it’s set at the beginning of 5th year quite a few of them are mid to late teens and adults with Harry. Don’t like, Don’t Read.  *Content Warning* So the first one is Harry Potter and the Witch’s Secret by Selector. When Harry arrives at Grimwald Place, the unattached ladies can tell his magic is calling to them as he wasn’t taught to control it. So his magic calls to unattached ladies to help control it through the above-mentioned activity. This is very ridiculous, but it caught my attention when I was younger. It also has some early Underworld elements. It’s complete with 53 chapters

The second one and actual sixth fic for toda is Harry Potter and the Dark Lady. A Dark Lady wants Harry, but only for herself. She and her minions attack to bring him to her side. It’s complete with 36 chapters.

The third one (in both places) is Harry Potter and the Corvinus Strain. This one is the full crossover with the Underworld series. Harry and the girls help and interfere in said events to help get to the ending best for them. It’s also complete with 17 chapters.

The fourth is also the second in a series. The first one is Harry Potter and the Power of Emotion by Melindaleo. Harry is not okay after the end of his fifth year, but will he be able to accept the help he needs to heal? Ginny helps him and they get closer. A 6th year fic where Harry learns his power is affected by the love of those around him. It’s complete with 37 chapters.

Its sequel is Harry Potter and the Curse of the Damned. Harry has to continue to grow in power while dealing with Vodlie. However, now Voldie knows the prophecy and is working to turn it in his favor. How will Harry end the war? And what is the Curse of the Damned? It’s complete with 33 chapters.

The fifth fic and last fic for today is Harry Potter and the Daft Morons by Sinyk. This is another favorite fics with a smart Harry. Harry uses the first task of the Triwizard tournament to reveal a lot of manipulations that he’s had to deal with. How does he know this? Because he is immune to mind magic and so when he’s been Obliviated, he remembers. Harry works to deal with the daft morons around him to get the wizarding world back on track. It’s a Harry/Hermione/Daphne/Fleur story. Sadly incomplete with 84 chapters and not updated since 2018.

A Slight Change and the Continuation of the Harry Potters

Hello, readers! Sorry this is late, but I decided over that first week to start doing every two weeks from now on. This is mostly because I’m starting my new job in the coming week and I want to focus on that.

I’ve several other things I’m also working on as well. The quest, obviously, of which I’m still switching between the really long webnovel (that I’m on chapter 884 or so of over 2000) and the next fanfic in order. I’m currently on “The H”es. I’m going through my Pokémon card collection in preparation of taking all my extras to somewhere in town to sell it in bulk. I’m also trying to get through both my manga and anime backlog. All while trying to work on my fanfic (which I just today finished Chapter 15 of).

Anyway, onto the listening changes: I finished She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 4 and moved onto a new light novel Now I’m a Demon Lord! Happily Ever After with Monster Girls in My Dungeon Vol 1 by Ryuyu. This one is a classic isekai where the MC, Yuki, dies and is reincarnated as the Dungeon Master. In this case, he becomes a Demon Lord and encounters the might dragon Lefisios. After subduing her with sweets she lives in his dungeon. He’ll meet plenty others to bring him more into this world and it’s issues.

I also finished Game On! 3.1 and moved onto Game On! 3.2. This one also continues in the same life, thus 3.2. As previously mentioned, this one is a crossover with ½ Prince the manhua. Years after 3.1, Fate lets her know of a hero who could use her help. Fang Lan gets angry at her twin brother and decides to play the new VRMMO Second Life as a male. She’s allowed this special exemption as the first player. Tsukiko joins her to help her get more confidence and to find out about the souls she can feel in the game. How will things turn out? Read in this completed fic with 10 chapters.

This next ones are more side stories for Stories of the Lone Traveler. First was Lone Traveler: Here Comes the Marine. This one is a crossover with NCIS where Gibbs’ wife is Lily’s cousin. The Lone Traveler arrives to help the local Harry as a child, only to discover that he’s actually Gibbs’ son as James couldn’t have children (Harry was blood adopted). It follows them finding the Gibbs and Harry life with them afterwards. It only goes to leaving for Hogwarts, but is complete.

Second was Lone Traveler: Harry Potter in Arcadia. This one is a crossover with Joan of Arcadia. It’s a two-season series about a girl who can talk to God and he gives her tasks (that I now own but haven’t watched). This one starts near the end of the series and actually completes the plot that the series ends on. Harry meets God himself and learns that one of his children set him on his journey. Harry himself teaches Joan a bit about the ripples of events. It’s complete as well.

Third was The Lone Traveler in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. This one is a crossover with Stars Wars: A New Hope. Harry pops up in a certain pub and meets God there. His form is a punk  kid (apparently there’s a horrible species that dresses like that) and he goes with Harry on the Falcon with the rest of the crew. It’s a short silly fic.

Fourth and last of the side stories was Lone Traveler: The Slytherin Chronicles. Harry pops up the Snape’s first day as a professor. He decides to help the house learn was ambitious really means. Snape begrudgingly goes along. It’s complete and goes an interesting direction.

Next I finished The Rising of the Shield Heroine and moved onto Reality Bites Worm by Selector. This is a Worm fic that I first mentioned here. Taylor triggers earlier and gains a slightly different power. She soon gathers an all-female team that makes changes soon after debuting. It’s an interesting fic, but sadly is incomplete with 37 chapters. It hasn’t been updated since 2019.

I also finished with that one and started Skittering Campione by Greatazuredragon. This one is a Worm and Campione! crossover that I first mentioned here. At the end of Worm, Taylor is instead to the Campione world where she reincarnates as one based on killing Scion. She soon faces off against Heretic Gods with names that are familiar to her. How will she deal with everything as a Campione? Read here for a least some of it as it is incomplete with 16 chapters. It was last updated in 2020.

Finally, I finished Cloudy, with a Chance of Freedom and did a random roll that landed on My Hero Academia: The Golden Light of Hamon by SeerKing. This is MHA fic (no duh) with a slight JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure crossover. At almost the last day, Izuku ‘awakens’ a quirk with the powers of Hamon from JoJo. This allows him to defend himself against Bakugo and exposes the inattention of the teachers. Both children are moved to other schools and Izuku learns more about his quirk. It’s very interesting, but sadly only has 6 chapters. It was last updated in 2023.

Now for the quest; first is Harry Potter – Three to Backstep by Sinyk. This is a Harry Potter time travel story that I first mentioned here. Harry dies in a different Final battle and learns this is the 6th time he’s died. His Guardian Angel lets him know that he’s being sent back with his memories this time along with Hermione and Daphine Greengrass to 4th year. They are given a soul bond and begin to fight back against those looking to oppress and enslave them. It’s competed with 50 chapters.

Second is Harry Potter: To Love is To Live by kb0. This is a Harry Potter AU where Ginny actually gets over Harry in his 4th year. However, Harry likes her and in 5th year when it seems like she is completely uninterested in him, he gets sicker and sicker. Will Harry and Ginny get together or will things end badly? Find out in this completed fic with12 chapters.

Third is Harry Potter: Unspeakable by kb0. In this one, Harry is approached by the Unspeakables after his fifth year and is offered a position with them. He takes it and they help him find a way to defeat Voldie. It’s complete with 14 chapters. It even has two different endings with two different girls (and the omake one is Ginny).

Fourth is Harry Potter: Choices by kb0. This is a Harry/Ginny story I first mentioned here. Harry decides after his 5th year that he needs to start making his own choices. Firstly, changing his Magical Guardian and then who he’s interested in. It’s a Soul Bond story, but with more depth and an interesting ending for Voldie. It’s completed with 34.

Fifth is Harry Potter and Fate’s Debt by Intromit. Before Harry leaves to go to Hogwarts for the first time, he receives a letter from his future self. It tells him that Fate owed him one to get to know Ginny. He does and this changes many things. Yes, it’s another Soul Bond story. Sadly, it’s incomplete with 27 chapters. It was last updated in 2008.

Sixth is Harry Potter and Godric’s Legacy by hermyd. This is yet another Soul Bond Harry/Ginny story (I didn’t realize there were three in a row). After 5th year, Harry is fed up with Dumbles and gets help from an unexpected source. Turns out there’s a second part to the prophecy and Dumbles is trying to take a role he’s not meant for. Harry and Ginny get together and work to defeat Vodlie (who’s worse in this one). Completed with 15 chapters.

Seventh and last is Harry Potter and the Artificer Legacy by Kairomaru. This is a favorite and was first mentioned here. Harry discovers his magic early because the Dursleys are nicer. This allows him to start creating magic artifacts before Hogwarts and that becomes his passion. He wants to become an Artificer and ends up with three girls; Penelope, Tonks and Fleur. It’s complete (I guess I haven’t read it recently) with 85 chapters and is a great fic.

Start of the Harry Potters (It’ll Be a Few Posts)

There’s not much to say for this week. It was a normal week, except that I had a long drive on Monday to go pick up a vehicle. I also started working on a past timeline for my fanfic. It’s mostly for me so I know what I’ve decided and don’t contradict it. The main reason I did this is because a comment (one of the few) on my fic wanted to know if was including Vigilantes in the story.

I’d actually never read it, so I just recently (this week) read most of it and found multiple timelines to try and get where in the original story it fits. Turns out I started the fic during the time skip in Vigilantes. That means I just need to mention the two main vigilantes in a few scenes for continuity (and that my view of a certain character’s thoughts about vigilantes was correct so I don’t need to change it). Not sure if I want my Izuku involved in the after time skip events as I really don’t want AfO to look into Izuku until later (and he’s heavily involved in that part of Vigilantes). I’ll be posting the sixth chapter this week, so look forward to it!

Now it’s time for the listening list changes; first is that I finished Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Vol 1 and moved onto She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 4. In this one, Mira follows some clues to see if they’ll help her find one of the missing Wise Men, Soul Howl. However, strong monsters are causing problems and she has to help. Then she finds a conflict between Chimera Clausen and the Isuzu Alliance. The former is kidnapping spirits, and the latter is trying to stop and take the former down.  How will Mira deal with this? Find out in this volume!

Then I finished Game On! 3.0 and moved onto Game On! 3.1 by nordiamus. This one follows in the same life, but with a new hero as Tsukiko tries find her missing pack. This crosses over with Yu Yu Hakusho from the very beginning. Kagome’s brother, Souta, now a high schooler, sees Yusuke die and lets Tsukiko know. Seeing that something is wrong with the process, being Death’s sister, she decides to intervene. How will her intervention affect things and will she find her pack? Find out in this completed fic.

 I also ran into and completed another side story for Stories of the Lone Traveler and so I’m back at it. It was Lone Traveler: Building a Better Burrow by dunuelos. In this one, the Lone Traveler finds himself at the Burrow as they’re planning to expand from the first floor. LT Harry decides to help them make a neater house while also upgrading the wards. It’s actually a complete story!

Finally, I also finished Naruto: Rise of the Lord of Foxes and did my random roll and it rolled to Cloudy, with a Chance of Freedom by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a KHR and Harry Potter crossover I first mentioned here. In it, Skull de Mort is sent much farther back in time after the future arc and ends up in his young body. Turns out he’s really Harry Potter and decides to change things so he’s not screwed over. He finds most of the other Arcabaleno before he even gets to Hogwarts. He changes many things, but one of the biggest is bringing Viper back into the Black Family. Slight warning for those who are interested in Yaoi (boyxboy), there is a slight bit later in the story (don’t like, don’t read). It’s incomplete with 41 chapters and was last updated in 2018.

Next is the quest list, and as I mentioned these are all Harry Potter fics or a least crossovers. First is Harry and Ginny: A Love Story by Epeefencer. This is a Harry Potter AU that I first mentioned here. Harry is drawn to Ginny after the chamber and they figure out it’s a soul bond. McGonagall helps them to stay together and keep everything from old Dumbles. It’s interesting, but sadly is unfinished. It has 33 chapters which doesn’t even get them to third year. It was last updated in 2015.

Second is Harry Goes on Holiday by kb0. This is a Harry Potter two-shot set after fifth year. The Grangers convince Harry to come back with them for the summer and a vacation in Australia. There he meets a nice girl and makes him question what he wants to do with his life. This is completed and an interesting way to deal with his scar.

Third is Harry Loves Ginny and Ginny Loves Harry by Epeefencer. This is compilation Harry Potter fic of various ways Harry and Ginny could have gotten together earlier throughout the books. There’s no rhyme or reason to the order, but it’s essentially multiple one-shots. There’s 45 chapters and since it’s this kind of fic, it’ll only be completed when the author quits writing. However, it was last updated in 2015 and the author hasn’t posted since 2022.

Fourth is Harry Potter: Archangel by Phantom1s. This is a Harry Potter AU (with a slight Avengers crossover) that I first mentioned here. Harry’s accidental magic takes him the Flamels at a young age and they take care of him. He meets Tony Stark and makes a magical Ironman suit. He saves Ginny and Hermione (5th and 6th year) in Diagon and meets his soul mate for the first time (Ginny, Hermione is not the child of who you think she is). It’s about the two of them and friends dealing with Voldie and helping the Magical world. It’s complete with 28 chapters.

Fifth is Harry Potter: Ironwizard by kb0. Ironically, this one is another Harry Potter with an Ironman suit AU that first mentioned here. After fifth year, Hermione helps Harry make a Magical Ironman suit based on the comics. Harry uses that to deal with Voldie and ends up with Hermione. It’s complete with 10 chapters.

Sixth and last is Harry Potter: Lily’s Child by kb0. This one is a Harry Potter AU where Lily survives and raises Harry away from England. Harry is trained to combat Voldie and they come back in the middle of what would be his fifth year. It’s sadly barely started with only 3 chapters.

Sorry This is Late, But I Have News!

Hello, readers! Sorry this is so late, I have a few reasons for that, so let me tell you. It was a short work week three weeks ago for me because of the 4th of July here in the USA. Had a long day of driving 2 hours each way to switch work vehicles, but that was fine. It gave me some time to listen to my stories. As I mentioned in the last post, I posted the 5th chapter of my fic. Still a very lukewarm response to it, meaning I’m barely getting any reviews so I don’t know if it’s good or bad, so I’m considering posting it on Spacebattles and other sites.

I spent a good bit of Friday and Saturday sorting and scanning old docs and cards so I could get rid of extra papers. The Rents and I went to go see a fireworks show on Saturday and then saw a Batman parody at a theater on Sunday that meant most of my writing time was gone. Then I was distracted by the new season of anime starting, birthday celebrations, prep for the trip I went on last weekend and … an offer of a new position!

Yep, the person who got the previous IT position I interviewed for (see back in January) left two weeks ago, why I really don’t know it was very quick as far as I know. They offered me the position as my interview was still active, it is for six months in case this happens, and I accepted. I don’t start until midish next month, but I’m excited!

This past week I just never got around to finishing this post, but I had a day of training Thursday for a piece of equipment we have. Once something is late, if I don’t focus on it, I find it hard to restart. I’m working on it…

So there have been several changes in my listening list, but not that many comparably. First, I finished She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 3 and listened to Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life Vol 4 which just came out. The Crimson Vow take a job to find a missing team and stumble upon a conspiracy. Some beastmen have captured the team and others and are excavating the area. Will the team be able to save everyone and find out what is going on? And is there another group behind this? Find out in this Volume!

I finished that one and continued onto Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Vol 1 by Ren Eguchi. This is another Isekai novel, but Mukouda was accidentally summoned with three students to be Heroes! However, all he has the Online Shopping skill and be suspicious of the ruling party, he leaves the country as soon as possible. Before he leaves, he and the adventures he hired to lead him to the next country run into a Fenrir who wants Mukouda’s food. Liking it, the newly named Fel becomes his familiar and they begin to travel around to keep eating good food. Where will their travels lead them?

After that, I completed Game On! 2.0 and moved onto it’s sequel, Game On! 3.0. This is a Harry Potter and InuYasha crossover, mostly. As previously mentioned, Harriet is reborn again, this time into the past of her former world. She’s born as Sesshomaru’s daughter and spends several decades growing up and stronger before the chosen hero, Kagome, is born. She befriends her and makes sure she’s ready for her role as a hero. How will her presence change things?

Then, I finished A Different Universe and went back to Stories of the Lone Traveler for a few chapters until I reached the spin-off Results of a Proper Introduction. When the Lone Traveler arrives in this universe just before Harry has his trip Diagon Alley, he gives advice to the goblins and some to the Dursleys before he leaves a letter for his counterpart about what he wished he’d known before going to Hogwarts and leaving before meeting him. It follows that Harry and what happens to him. Sadly, it only goes to the Christmas of his first year. So, I’m back to the main fic until another spin-off comes up.

I also finished Legion and moved onto Worm – Waterworks by Seerking. It’s a Worm AU that I first mentioned here. Taylor triggers with hydrokinetic power along with being a water Tinker. She decides to be the best hero she can to save her city, but knows she has to hid her base. This Taylor also is convinced to leave the school and homeschool. How will she follow her Queen of Escalation title in this one, read and find out. It has 25 chapters and is on the author’s update list, but he hasn’t posted anything since last year.

I also finished that one and started The Rising of the Shield Heroine by Tale Swapper. This is a Shield Hero and Worm crossover I first mentioned here. When Taylor triggers, the four holy weapons intervene, and she chooses the Shield and becomes the Gamer. QA is transformed into a copy of her that runs Halp. Now she has to become a Hero with these weird powers and maybe find out a bit about her situation. Not finished and was last updated in 2022.

Lastly, I got a bit bored with Ashes of the Past in Johto at some point. So, I rolled for a fic with a random number generator and it fell on Naruto: Rise of the Lord of Foxes by VFSNAKE. This is a Naruto and Bleach crossover (slightly) where things go wrong at the Valley of the End. Naruto wins against Sasuke, but Kakashi shows up and almost kills him. The Kyuubi reveals to a dying Naruto that his real name is Zangetsu and that he can save him. Zangetsu (from Bleach) has Naruto take the hilt from Zabuza’s sword and it reveals its name to be Zaraki Kenpachi. Naruto takes that name and begins to help Water country to prove his strength. He’ll eventually take revenge on Konoha and save Hinata from a horrible fate. This is complete, even if it’s a bit weird.

Now, let’s go onto the quest and start the Hs. First is Hacker Magician Smoke by Night Raydes. This one is a Harry Potter AU that I first mentioned in a previous quest, here. This one has Harry as very technologically savvy and he learns how to hack magic. He learns that Dumbles and his ilk have been controlling the Wizarding World from behind the scenes. He makes himself a third party in the war and plans to make changes. This is interesting, but sadly unfinished with 17 chapters.

Second is Hagrid’s Fame by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Harry Potter one-shot I first mentioned here. Hagrid goes investigating when the Chamber is opened and finds out what the creature is. He is not expelled and in fact has a large hand in dealing with the Wizarding War. Read and find out how!

Third is Hagrid’s First Lesson by White Angel of Auralon. This is another Harry Potter one-shot with a focus on Hagrid. When he becomes a teacher before Harry’s third year, Hagrid decides to get in contact with Newt Scamander for advice. This changes how he goes about his first lesson and how the students see him.

Fourth is Haigha by DeusVerve. This is a My Hero Academia AU where Izuku is kidnapped after meeting All Might. He escapes five months late but is drastically changed. Unfortunately, he doesn’t remember much of his time in captivity. With a new appearance and abilities, will Izuku become the hero he always wanted? Or is he just a ticking time bomb? Find out in this 29-chapter story. It’s incomplete but was finally updated for the first time in while in March.

Fifth is Hail Odysseus by Brennus. This is a Harry Potter AU where Grindelwald fakes his death and escapes when Harry’s young. He takes him in and also fakes his death. Years later, Harry shows up for his seventh year and is Sorted into Slytherin. There he finds Ginny Weasley in Slytherin. Will Harry be able to get all his goals done? And how does Ginny fit into this? Find out in this completed fic.

Sixth is Happy Little Accidents by sakurademonalchemist. This is Harry Potter and Twisted Wonderland crossover. Malleus is turned into a child in an accident and Fem Harry (Aurora) finds him near her house. She takes him to Diagon and takes care of him. How will things end up? Well, you only have 8 chapters to find out as it’s incomplete. Sadly it was last updated in 2022.

Seventh is Harmonic Symphony by sakurademonalchemist. This is a KHR AU that I first mentioned here. In it, Tsuna finds a violin when he’s younger and ends up getting closer to some of his guardians early. This leads to a very fun version of Harmony. It’s sadly unfinished with 22 chapters that ends in the time travel arc. It was last updated in 2017.

The End of the G’s

Hello, readers! This was a quiet week as we have someone new for few weeks this summer and teaching them is interesting. Other than that, not much has happened. I did get a new tablet that I’m setting up because my previous one has some cracks and is older. I can’t get my normal access to my PDFs on it, but I can do it through odd ways.

I had a few changes on my listening list; first is that I finished The Saga of Tanya the Evil Vol 3 and moved onto She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 3. Mira returns from her first adventure to find her comrades with a direction, only find another clue on the way back. While others are following up, she finds herself at the local academy helping raise the interest in Summoners. She competes in a contest to show what she can do. Then she goes down to the dungeon under the city to find information. Will she find the information she needs?

Then I finished Swordsaint and imported and started reading A Young Girls War Between the Stars by sinereal. I read this recently and wanted to listen to it, it’s a Youjo Senki and Star Wars crossover. Tanya and her men are killed by atomic bomb and Being X throws her out of the cycle of reincarnation. She then wakes up as a female Zeltron in Star Wars (which either she never watched or doesn’t remember) years before Episode 1. Dooku finds her with proof that the Trade Federation is working up to a war and he takes her to the Jedi Temple to train. She doesn’t get along with many but one she does is a young Fem Obi Wan. How will she change the fate of those in the Star Wars universe? It’s a very interesting read. It has 103 chapters currently (updated on Monday) and just started on Episode 1.

Finally I finished off Harry Potter: The Lone Traveler and The Story of the Guys. The side story was first, then the main one. After that I started Stories of the Lone Traveler, only to go to a side story very quickly, A Different Universe. The main story was mentioned previously, but it mostly continues following the Lone Traveler around helping people. In the first side story, the Lone Traveler (LT) finds himself the summer after fifth year in a universe where things are different. Dumbles is scheming and part of the Weasleys (Arthur, Molly, Ron and Ginny) are after Harry’s money. The LT helps the local Harry to start escaping from his situation. This is that Harry’s story. It’s not completed, but it has 23 chapters. Not my normal HP story with a bad Ginny, but I’ve read plenty of stories where Harry is with other characters.

Now it’s time to continue the quest; first is Grandmaster by KitsuneJackpot. This one is a My Hero Academia AU where Izuku does have a quirk, but it doesn’t activate until he is able to recruit someone. Things follow the main story until after he meets All Might, he meets Tokage and he recruits her as his Pawn. Then he meets Itsuka and Momo and they join as well. How will Izuku manage his army that is also interested in him? Unfortunately, it only has 12 (longish) chapters and is only a little bit into UA and was last updated in 2020.

Second is Granny Morgaine by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Harry Potter AU where he awakens to powers from his ancestors from Camelot after the Horcrux dies from the basilisk venom in second year. He meets Morgana Le Fey, who was not a dark witch, and she takes him to her time during breaks to train. How will a Camlet trained Harry do in the war? It’s a good but sadly unfinished fic with 24 chapters and was last updated in 2021.

Third is Greyff’s Mischief Fragment Mjolnir by TheBeardedOne. This is a Naruto and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha crossover originally written by Greyff however he took it and another down because of flamers. Naruto is locked in with Hinata and after she passes out he’s taken by a nice Kyuubi to learn Midchildan magic. He comes back with a device and changes things. It’s finished after the Chunin Exams, not great but interesting.

Fourth is other one Greyff’s Mischief Fragment Phoenix by TheBeardedOne. In this one Greyff introduces Toltiir a God of Mischief (who also affected the last one) who sends the Twelve Tailed Phoenix to destroy the Kyuubi and is sealed in Naruto instead. Kyuubi is sealed inside Rock Lee. This one is weird, but it’s complete.

Fifth is Grimm Harmonies by sakurademonalchemist. This a KHR and Grimm crossover where Tsuna is a Grimm. Reborn finds this out soon after he goes to train Tsuna. They meet the main series, but this one only has 8 chapters with the last update in 2020 so it doesn’t get far.

Sixth is Gun Bunny by Selector. This is a Worm AU that I first mentioned here. Taylor gets a power similar to Miss Milita but can make them real after a while. She takes over the Merchants and makes them a protector gang. She works with a healed Squealer and Amy to help others. However, she’s still the queen of escalation. It has 35 chapters and is incomplete. It was last updated in 2019.

Seventh is Gundam Wing – The Lost Potter by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Gundam Wing and Harry Potter Crossover where Heero is Harry’s long lost twin. They meet when Hary goes with the Dursleys to Japan when Heero first comes down to earth. Harry is smarter than he portrays and the two begin to work together to deal with Oz and Voldie. I really like this one, but it’s also unfinished with 16 chapters and was last updated in 2018.

Last of the G’s is Guyver Naruto by TheBeardedOne. This is a Guyver and Naruto crossover (obviously). Guyver is an anime about people fighting against aliens that took over the government with organic suits. In this fic, Nauto finds a Guyver suit when he’s young. When it activates, he transforms to an adult form and accidentally helps in a few situations (for example the Hyuga and Uchiha situations). How will this new dynamic affect the Naruto world? Find out in this complete fic!

Setbacks Can Affect More Than Just Your Mood

Hello, readers! Sorry this is a week late.  I’ll talk more about why a bit later. I’m back home and it was a fun trip. I did go there for a small church thing, that went well. I saw some old friends and met new people. I also hung out with my friend and we visited a few places in the area. Overall, it was a nice relaxing trip. Both of my flights on Thursday even landed early (which was good as I might not have made my connection otherwise).

While I was on my trip, I got notified that the interview for the position I applied (within the company) for would be on the coming Monday. I prep for that and because I had a few things to do, I planned to write last week’s post on Monday. However, I got notified before I even left that I didn’t get the position, not even 2 hours after my interview. This got me a bit depressed, even if I didn’t expect to get it after some mistakes in the interview.

I’m just a bit tired that I’ve worked for the company for over 5 years (including when I was a temp) and I’ve only had a slight pay increase (after the state/city pay increases). I mentioned wanting to prove I had company loyalty in staying 5 years to a friend and he said that no one cares about that anymore. I’ll have to really think about what I want to do.

Anyway, the rest of the week was busy and the coming weeks will probably be on and off. I did the Pokémon Go Community Day and got all three shinnies to have a complete set. Forgot to evolve them yesterday, but whatever.

So for reading changes, most of them are changed. Starting off is that I finished off She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 2 and then listened to Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life Vol 3 (unfortunately it’s not connected correctly to the first 2 on Audible). In this one, two of the Crimson Vow have their history come back to haunt them, and surprisingly one of the Isn’t Mile. Mavis’ noble family want her back and Pauline’s adopted father wants her back for nefarious purposes. Will they be able to deal with both them and stay as a team? And what’s this about a wyvern?

I also finished that one and continued onto The Saga of Tanya the Evil Vol 3. In this one, Tanya is involved in an outrageous attack to try and put an end to the war on the Rhine Front. Can she and her team do what they need to do and deal with the consequences? And even if they do, will the rest of the world allow them to be the victors? Find out in this volume!

I also finished A Place in My Dreams and moved onto another fanfic from Seerking, Swordsaint. It’s a SAO AU that I first mentioned here. It follows an OC who goes by the game handle Joan. She’s also a beta tester and programmer and has a great hatred for Kiyaba. She’s one of Kirito’s best friends and has no romantic interest in him. It currently has 29 chapters and they’ve escaped SAO. However, even though it’s the next in the schedule for the author, like I’ve mentioned before, they haven’t posted at all this year.

Next, I finished Game On! and moved onto the next one Game On! 2.0 by nordiamus. I’ve mentioned this one recently, but it follows growing god, Harriet Potter to her next life helping in the Fullmetal Alchemist universe as the youngest Elrich. Will a certain person from her last life find her and remember who he was?

Also finished was Muggleborn Teacher and I moved onto Harry Potter: The Lone Traveler by The Professional. As mentioned previously here, this is an AU where Harry is alone after the war and tries to go back, but it goes wrong. He ends up being sent to places in time to help deal with an issue before going to the next place. One of the stories is expanded into its own story, so I have include it as I’m on the that one before coming back to this one.

It’s called The Story of the Guys by The Professional. In the original section, there’s a small intro chapter before the Lone Traveler shows up. However in this the story has at least 7 chapters before he shows up. In this universe, Harry is the in the trope of the Wrong Boy Who Lived and they think that his brother Michael is the BWL. He is neglected by his parents and siblings and ends up in Slytherin. There he gets along with several other outcasts that becomes The Guys. Follow them and their eventual meet up with The Lone Traveler.

Star gazing is finished and I started listening to Legion by NeverTooOld. This is a Worm AU that I first mentioned here. Things change when Taylor is left for days in the locker and comes out maimed. Withdrawing from school, she moves on with her life until the heroes come asking about bullying and powers because their pet killer claims she was attacked. Taylor triggers again, expanding her powers, and Amy has to spend four days healing her. They bond and start a friendship then a relationship (that might be pushed on by their powers). I wish I knew how this story ends, but it hasn’t updated since 2017 and based on the health issues the author had I don’t think they’re with us anymore. There’s still a great 24 chapters to read though!

Finally, I also finished Pokemon: Shadow of Time – Kanto Arc. As I don’t remember much of the next one in the series, I moved onto an oldie but goodie, Ashes of the Past by Saphroneth. It was one of the first fanfics I mentioned on the sites, here. This is another Ash time travel story, but nicer. Cyrus comes back at the end of Unova and resets the universe. Arceus saves Ash and Sir Aaron trains him in aura. They send him to the start of his journey and he’s able to remind his team and friends (though Arceus, Aaron and the Space and Time Dragons are in a time bubble and are a continuing amusing side story). It’s currently got 305 chapters and they’re at the end of Sinnoh. Sadly, while the author is still writing fanfics, they haven’t updated this one since a update of the first 42 chaps in 2023. Still worth a read!

At last, we move onto the quest; first is God Slaying Blade Works by Marcus Galen Sands. This is a Fate/Heaven’s Feel True Ending and Campione! Crossover that I first mentioned here. In the True Ending, Shirou doesn’t come back and in this fic, he, Illya and Angra Mayu are transported to the Campione world. There Shirou kills Angra Mayu and becomes the eighth Campione. They try to get back to their world, while figuring out their new powers. They crash the main story after the Voban fight and Shirou tries his best to act kingly, which is very amusing. It currently has 47 chapters and was unfortunately last updated in 2021 because they are working on their original novel, which I just found, that can be found here.

Second is Going on a Unicorn Hunt by sbmcneil. This is a cute little one-shot about Ginny, Bill and Harry. The summer before his third year, Harry runs into the siblings going to get a wand made for Ginny. We then learn of how she got the unicorn hair when she was young.

Third is Golden King of Zero by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Familiar of Zero and Fate series crossover that I first mentioned here. Louise summons Kid Gilgamesh instead of Saito. This changes things and it turns out a grail war is happening now. It only has 10 chapters and is an okay read. It was last updated in 2016.

Fourth is Golden Queen by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover I first mentioned here. Fem Harry (Kaede) ran away from a deal to sell her in Fuyuki after the 4th war and accidently summons a part of Gilgamesh. He saves her and becomes a kid to be closer to his summoner. It’s an interesting little 16 chapters, but it was last updated in 2014.

Fifth is Gorgon by sakurademonalchemist. This is another Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night (UBW) crossover that I first mentioned here. Illya ends up in Diagon Alley after she’s killed and finds she’s in the past. She goes to Hogwarts to make Harry’s life better. It’s amusing but sadly only has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2015.

Sixth is taken by a prequel, but it’s actually the third in the series. Lights Will Guide You Home (And I Promise I Will Burn For You) by by rayrae118 is the sequel to It’s OK Not to Be OK (But I Promise, I’m Trying) and Every Tear Fall Down for a Reason (But I Promise I Won’t Cry for You). This fic covers Harry and Ginny’s sixth year. How will butterfly effect continue to influence this year? Will Dumbles still die? This is completed with 22 chapters.

Seventh is the actual sixth, the final fic in the series, Got One Hundred Steps to Go (Tonight I’ll Make It Ninety Nine) by rayrae118. Harry and his group work together to make Voldy mortal again in a massively changed war. Will everyone make it out alive in this fic? Read to find out. It’s complete with 24 chapters.

Eighth and last is Gothic by Brennus. This one is a Harry Potter AU where Harry was raised by Sirius and is a bit darker than normal versions. Ginny never met Harry at school, and he finds her being blackmailed by Draco Malfoy sometime after the end of school. He convinces her to work for him to find the pieces of a precious jewel. They go on an adventure and may find out more about themselves. It’s darker then you think and complete with 9 chapters.

Traveling Weekend (2026)

Hello, friends! It’s an odd weekend for me as I’m in the middle of a trip to visit the friend who recently came to visit me. I’ll talk more about it next week as I just got in late last night (or early in the morning). It was a normal week, and I finally finished with that extra job I had to do and my workdays will go back normal.

Honestly my trip yesterday was more interesting. Both of my flights left late, and it made things … fun. My first one didn’t have enough fuel, and we had to wait for it to be filled up. I barely made my second one because I wanted stop for dinner (to go of course) and they lost my order. I had to ask about it to get it. Then, after I got on, we were told that we couldn’t leave because of weather. We finally left almost an hour later, and I got here almost at midnight. Luckly, my friend was willing to pick me up. Like I mentioned I’ll talk about the trip next week.

Next is my listening list changes; I finished I am [Redacted] and started Sword of the Hero by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a My Hero Academia and Sword Art Online crossover. Bakugo and Izuku get stuck in SAO and Izuku joins Asuna and Kirito on the first boss fight. Izuku changes things and gets them out before they normally would. Also, Bakugo is very much not a nice person in this. It gets them out, but they haven’t gotten much past saving Asuna. It has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2020.

I finished that in one listening and moved onto A Place in My Dreams by Seerking. It another SAO crossover, but this time with Campione. I first mentioned this early in the quest here, almost a year ago. It’s set after the Campione story is finished and Godou is off searching for the other Campione. Kayaba is fused with a group three Gods of Dreams and when Kirito defeats him to defeat the game (which goes slightly differently), he becomes the first new Campione (and Kayaba stops the players from being stolen and exposes that one for trying it). The History Compilation Committee tries it’s normal activities to prove he’s a Campione and it doesn’t help. Also, some of those in the Game are magical and come to Kirito for help. It sadly only has 7 chapters still and was updated in 2025. The author still hasn’t started posting again, but I verified one of the stories he favorited started in March of this year, so he’s still around. No idea why he’s not posting, but I hope he’s okay.

I also finished The Reincarnator’s Tavern, including the newest chapters, and started Sunshine by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Harry Potter and KHR crossover that I first mentioned here. Renato becomes young Fem. Harry (Iris) penpal for primary school and they keep in touch. She talks to him all through her years at Hogwarts until 5th year. She asks how best to kill the toad with a butter knife and eventually does it. She escapes and meets up with him, becoming his Sky long before the selection. She changes things and he’s not technically cursed. It’s fun but only has 8 chapters and last updated in 2017.

After I finished that I moved onto Game On! by nordiamus. It’s a mutlicross (starting with just Harry Potter and KHR) that I first mentioned three weeks ago here. Fem. Harry (Harriet) dies when the war restarts years later and is told she’s becoming a God. To help with the process and learn/earn her attributes (and save her mother) she reincarnates to help heroes who would win without her to help make things better (and more interesting). She is first reincarnated as Tsuna’s sister and has a Gamer power from Chaos (the concept God). It’s fun and I’ll move on to the next one when I finish.

The Accidental Bond was finished as well and I started Muggleborn Teacher by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter AU that I first mentioned here. Keith (an AU character) is a muggleborn who left the wizarding world and eventually became an elementary school teacher. He becomes Harry teacher when he starts school and quickly realizes who he is and works to help with his home life. He essentially raises Harry and helps him to realize that the Wizarding World needs to change. It doesn’t get far after Harry goes to Hogwarts, but it’s got 24 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2018.

Finally, I finished Constellations and moved onto its sort of continuation Star gazing by  Selector. After Chapter 47, this splits off and things change. New Wave becomes more involved and Taylor (who didn’t have a love interest in the original) starts going out with Amy. It’s only 5 chapters, but it’s worth a read if you’ve read the original. It hasn’t been updated since 2020.

Now it’s time for the quest! The first ones are odd and the only reason I have them here is because of the author. However, I Must mention and all these are M for a reason! [Content Warning!] This has sex and some drugging and dubious consent involved. No rape, but it becomes close and there’s revenge. [Content Warning!] The actually next one is after a one-shot, so the first one I’ll mention is Hermione’s Obsession by Epeefencer. Hermione is a nymphomaniac and wants to have sex with Ginny (this is before H/G get together). However, she has no interest and talks to Harry about her worry about Hermione. Hermione eventually potions Ginny, but Harry interferes and the two have sex, to Hermione’s frustration.

The actual first is Ginny’s Revenge by Epeefencer. Harry and Ginny have more sex and plan to make Hermione their sex slave (for a certain amount of time).  Second is its sequel Ginny’s Revenge: Part 2 by Epeefencer. More sex slave play, basically. There’s a fourth one for after school, but it’ll be mentioned later.

Third (prequel) is Obsession by KryallaOrchid. It’s a Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir AU where their Miraculous affect them more than in the original series. Marinette is more susceptible to cold and Adrien likes to be scratched. Chat ends up at Marinette’s place, and she scratches him and they become friends and more. It’s the normal love four square for this series. It focuses on them dealing with their feelings and finding out identities. It has 11 chapters and is completed

The real Third is Glaze by KryallaOrchid. This one gets into the winter, and Ladybug is increasing becoming affected and slows down. Chat has to deal with the akuma while dealing with an out of commission Ladybug. How will things go? It’s complete with 21 chapters and there is another sequel to finish the series.

Fourth is Go Away I’m Watching Porn by Third Fang. I’ve mentioned this one multiple times, but the first was here. This is a Highschool DxD AU, where Ghost (a OC by the same author) ends up in Issei’s soul with Draig early in his life (after chasing a whisper of a ‘Oppai Dragon’). This causes him to train earlier and harder, this does not make things better and he gets burned (aka has bad things done to him). By the time of the original story start he’s a shut-in and has to be forced to school. Most of the current story is him getting out and (us and the other characters) finding out what happened to him, along with training. It currently has 30 chapters and was updated in February. (There is little to no actual sex in this, mostly just porn trivia).

Fifth and last is Goblet of Fire by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Harry Potter AU where Harry goes on a trip before fourth year and meets a girl at a summer school who he gets together with a girl from America named Gem (yes in that way but only mentioned not explicit). This helps him look at things a different way and deal with his fourth year and the tournament in a way others at Hogwarts might not like. It’s complete with three chapters.

Reorganizing Can Make You Late

Hello, everyone. Sorry for missing last week’s post. I was busy rearranging my books and other items during the long weekend. Then I tried to donate blood, but there were issues that meant I wasn’t able to actually donate (to do with situational issues not anything new) and had to wait for another two months. I gave up at that point and decided to do a double update this week.

As for work, it’s been the same. I applied to a slightly off the mark (for me) position and haven’t heard back if I even actually qualify. We’ve also started doing the summer work and it’s causing space issues. There was even a meeting on Friday that went late, so I get to leave early tomorrow!

I’m also on the last four Alpha Pokémon in Legends Arceus (the four fossils) after that it’s just GMax female Venosaur and I’ll have all the extended Living Dex (that I made up myself). That means all the forms, gender differences, GMax and Alphas (plus the hat Pikachu that can be on Home) [Along with both genders of the last two with gender differences]. I also did get the regular Switch version of Legends Z-A and did the trade Alpha evolutions of Pumpkaboo (all Sizes) and Feebas (Male and female). All that’s left is to continue working to get all of them to level 100. They’re all at least level 35 and most are level 50. Some are 100, but it’s a matter of stages; 20, 35, 50, 70, 90 and then 100. Oh, and I just posted the fourth chapter of my fic, Theurgy Thru Replevy. Please check it out with the link on My Fanfics.

Anyway, it’s time for the listening changes. I finished Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life Vol 2 and listened to Youjo Senki Vol 2. In this one, Tanya gets to take her newly formed battalion and go to three fronts of the war! She follows her orders, complaining in her head the entire time about them and her troops being battle happy. However, everyone else sees her as the battle happy one. Follow her on a trip of misunderstandings and war.

I just finished that one and started on She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 2. I haven’t gotten far in this one (like 5 minutes), but I’m fairly sure this one is more about Mira trying to find the other 7 sages. She’ll go to a dungeon to try and get some more information about one of them. Will she find one or more? I guess we’ll find out.

I also finished Parenting is not a Varia Quality part of the story and so that slot will just be Black Sky for now. Then I finished Back to the Beginning and decided to listen to I am [Redacted] by Titus621. It’s an MHA fic where Izuku didn’t got to UA but went to America to study with All Might instead (and it’s implied that AFO and his group followed him there). It’s set three years after the 1-A graduated and Nimbus or Redacted is the number 1 hero. He’s called Redacted because his identity is hidden to protect his family and all the line says is Redacted. In reality, it’s Izuku and he starts to get close to Ochaco when her new agency is near the restaurant his parents own. Watch their relationship grow and Izuku realize that maybe he’s going about things the wrong way. It’s completed with 22 chapters!

I got a point in A Darker Path that I don’t remember, so I stopped listening and changed it to Constellations by UnwelcomeStorm. It’s a Worm and Okami crossover that I first mentioned here. Taylor meets Amaterasu in her Great Wolf form when she’s young and gets lost at camp. She pops up again after Taylor’s mom dies and continues to come and cheer her up and encourage her to draw. When her flute is damaged, Sunny (what Taylor calls her) fixes it. This eventually leads to her becoming the Miko of a falling apart shrine. She fixes it up and even makes Oni Lee less of a monster. Danny’s a cape in this one as well. It still only has 54 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2021.

Finally, I also finished The Road Not Taken and decided to listen to Pokemon: Shadow of Time – Kanto Arc by Ron the True Fan. This is another Pokémon time travel fic, but darker. Cyrus taking control of Palkia and Dialga eventually leads to them destroying the world while Ash is in Alola. Celebi sends Ash back with a copy of his Pokémon’s memories in his head to stop Cyrus from controlling them in the first place. However, the world he wakes up in the start of his journey is very different. Shadow Pokémon roam the land and guns are normal. Watch an angry Ash do what he can to fix things while finding his Pokémon, or they find him. It’s an Ash/multi and has several fics, this is just the first.

Well, time for the quest; first is Gamer of the Sword by fg7dragon. This is a Fate/Stay Night SI with Gamer powers that I first mentioned here. Shirou is taken over by someone who knows the series and is given The Gamer power soon after Kiritsugu dies. He decides to train and make changes to help himself and those he likes. His main partner is Sakura, but he has a harem. It has 15 chapters and is completed with a set up for another fic. Sadly, the author hasn’t posted since 2018, but they are still around because they favorited a fic that was only published in March.

Second is an odd one. It was originally Gate to the elven god, Tanya’s republic but the author completely rewrote in and renamed it to Gate to the Tanyan Republics by ShirouKuroEmiya. It’s a Youjo Senki and Gate: Thus the JDF Fought There crossover where Tanya is a god on the other side of the Gate. After she dies after a long and happy life, but her spirit wanders and ends up on the Gate world. 100 years later, she’s a god. In the original she was the God of the Elves that the team finds (who don’t die) and she doesn’t meet them until they get to the village. The rewrite, she and a team infiltrate the team sent to Japan originally and help them stop the attack. They both only had 3 chapters and the reboot was last updated in 2024. Honestly, this author isn’t my favorite and it’s only on here because I thought the original was an interesting idea.

Third is General Zod by TheBeardedOne. This is a prequel to another of this author’s main fics but this is just in the DC Comics. This tells the story of how Zod’s story goes in this fic, which is a bit different then cannon. I won’t say much more to not spoil it. It’s completed but the characters don’t interact with the main story it’s in until the fic.

Fourth is also odd as the reason it’s here is because I call it German fic, but it’s really Aufstand Gegen Danzou by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Naruto one-shot and it’s translation is Uprising Against Danzou. I put it through a translator to read it, but essentially, Naruto is imprisoned and his friends rise up against Danzou. It’s interesting, but I wish there was an official translation.

Fifth is Ginny Returns by kb0. This is a Harry Potter fic that really like and mentioned first here. The war is over and only Ginny and a disabled Hermione are left. Ginny refuses to leave things as they are and finds a way back in time. Hermione helps her (at the cost of her life) and Ginny goes back to the summer before her first year. She makes many changes and Harry and Sirius are the only ones who finds out she’s from an alternate future. It’s great and has a Harry who doesn’t just accept her because his past self did and works to find out who her really likes. It’s complete and worth the read.

Sixth is Ginny’s Decision by Epeefencer. This is a Harry Potter one-shot where things go differently when Harry goes to break up with Ginny. She doesn’t just accept it and pushes back with her own decision. It really only goes over the start of her influence, and the most important part, but it’s an interesting premise if anyone ever does something like it.

Seventh and the last today is Ginny’s Plan by kb0. This one is similar, but her plan is different. It’s Harry Potter and I’ve mentioned it before here. She convinces him to be smarter about it and that she’ll never take him back if he leaves. Her plan changes things and Dumbles is shattered. It has 13 chapters and it complete.

The Start of the G’s

Hello, readers! Sorry this is late, like I said last time, I had to get the links for the next ones on the fic list, the Gs. However, I also had a performance with the music learning company I take classes from. I performed part of a song that I’ve been working on and after being slightly off at first, the rest was fine. Maybe if someone is actually interested, I’ll post a link to a recording of me singing, lol.

I’ve also finally gotten most of the Pokémon from Legends Arceus! All I have left is the Alpha versions of Oshawott and the 4 fossil Pokémon. I also have all of my extended Living Dex to at least level 35 (except the Spinda I have that I can’t even move out of Home). After I finish Arceus, all that’s left to complete what I can get of the extended Living Dex is a Male Alpha Houndoom and a Female GMax Venusaur.

So, I didn’t change much on my listening list, but there were some. First, I finished She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 1and went onto Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life Vol 2. Mile has graduated the hunter school and created the Crimson Vow with her friends. Now as C rank hunters they have to figure out their strengths, weaknesses and try all kinds of quests. From hunting monsters to escorting missions, they try it all. Now what’s this about a huge bandit issue? Watch as Mile continues to try and be average!

Second, I didn’t finish Black Sky, but I reached a point where another one of their stories intersected with it. It’s called Parenting is not a Varia Quality and it follows some OCs from this author. Two are a team from the Varia, Maínomai and Pyr, and the other is Nono Vongola’s granddaughter Erica Lanza, who’s working as the CDFs secretary. Maínomai is an easily distracted Mist and is Christmas shopping when he runs into Erica. He asks her to help him and they hit it off. They have a short fling and she gets pregnant. She keeps it and Pyr (his Cloud best friend) helps Maínomai discover about his family in case there’re any issues. There are also a few little silly side stories. There is a list on Umei no Mai’s profile of how it fits into the original story.

Finally, I also finished The Fire-eyed Princess (because it was short) and listened to Incandescence also by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a KHR and Yu-Gi-Oh crossover that I first mentioned here. In this one, Tsuna is sent back in time, and an accident kills his mom when he’s young. He fakes his records on the way to the orphanage so Iemitsu can’t find him and adopts an active Sun who begins to think he’s really his brother. Needless to say, he becomes Kaiba but does things differently. He refuses to take over the Vongola and is working to make his own group. However, there’s also Yugi, who’s actually a girl and eventually becomes his love interest. It’s still at 20 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2021.

I finished it and moved onto Nightmare’s End by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Persona 5 and Harry Potter crossover. Fem Harry (Haruhi) transfers into Shujin Academy after leaving England (after the books) and then getting falsely accused (yes, she takes Joker’s place). She helps take down several of the targets from the game (that I’ve honestly never played) and starts to expand the metaverse to England. It only has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2020.

That one was also finished along with the next one, Liliko by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Naruto and Harry Potter crossover one-shot that I mentioned before here. Kushina is dragged from her deathbed during the Kyuubi attack into the past and de-aged. There she’s forced into the role of Lily Evans and she tries to figure out how to eventually get back home. However, she is later compelled to marry James and has Harry (or rather Haru). She breaks all the controls and escapes back home before the Kyuubi attack. How will she deal with the attack and what happens back in England? Read and find out.

The one I’m actually on now is The Road Not Taken by sbmcneil. It’s a Harry/Ginny story I first mentioned here. Sirius finds Harry soon after he leaves the Dursleys the summer before his third year. He convinces Harry to join him for the summer and tells him about Scabbers. Harry decides to do better at school and look out for Ginny. It’s complete and a great read.

So for the quest, we’re now on the G’s! First is Gabriel by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter fic that I first mentioned here. It’s a Twin Potters and Wrong BWL fic where Harry is thought to be a squib by Dumbles and is raised in an orphanage. He’s picked up by one of the best assassins and taken in to be trained by him. Years later, he’s Gabriel, the best upcoming assassin and is being hired to take out some Death Eaters. Will he discover his family links? Find out in this completed fic!

Second is Game On! by nordiamus. This is a KHR and Harry Potter fic that I mentioned before here. Harriet Potter (fem Harry) dies after becoming The Master of Death and discovers she’s immortal. She accepts several concept’s (including Chaos) plan to reincarnate her several times to build up her Godly powers. So she’s reincarnated as Tsuna’s twin in the recent past and changes how things go in that world. This one surprisingly has a good father Iemitsu and her love interest is is Reborn (or Renato) [This is because she was older when she died and is not weird]. There are references to where she goes in some of her later lives, but it ends when she dies in this life and learns of her new title, Shadow.

Third is the sequel, Game On! 2 0. This one is a crossover with Fullmetal Alchemist. Shadows’s reincarnated as Ed and Al’s younger sister. She changes many things, but the biggest thing is that she manages to help Al keep most of his body. Things are thrown more off track because someone has managed to join the game from her old life, someone who loves her. How will things go with Reborn as Roy? It also ends with her death is this life.

Fourth is the next one, Game On! 3 0. This one actually takes Shadow back to her original world, but in the farther in the past. This time she’s crossing over with InuYasha and as Sesshoumaru’s daughter, Tsukiko. She and Renato grow up and train until they eventually meet Kagome and follow her into the far past. After meeting her uncle, she helps him to understand her father and how to be a youkai. Watch as her pack grows. This one doesn’t actually end when she dies as she has to figure out where some of her pack that was in the past went.

Fifth is Game On! 3 1. This one is a continuation of 3.0’s life but starts a crossover with Yu Yu Hakusho. Tsukiko is trying to find out where the rest of her pack is and Chaos’ game leads her to Yusuke. She trains him and his friends while working on the mystery. This life also continues into the next one.

Sixth is Game On! 3 2. This one also continues 3.0’s life but is set in the future and is a crossover with ½ Prince (a manga about a genderbending avatar in a VR game). Tsukiko heads to T City and finds a Chaos Game notification about another hero. So she joins Second Life and meets up with Prince. It’s a silly little excursion, but interesting.

Seventh and the final one I’ll mention is Game On! 3 5. This one is the final one (and a one-shot) for this life and is a set up for the next one (that is not on the list as it wasn’t out when I first started). The pack learns that a Low Tide of magic coming and the magic people and creatures need to escape. They manage to get most out, but Tsukiko and a few others have to stay. They watch as the world evolves into the world of Naruto. To help things after she passes away, she decides to be reborn to help Naruto, which is in the next one. There are four more fics currently and the last one is being worked on.

Well, that took a while and most of it was one series. I also forgot to mention that on Friday I accidentally pulled a muscle in my left leg. It’s mostly fine now (no pain, just stiffness), I just have an odd gait. I hope it’s completely healed up soon. As always – May Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key!

The End of the F’s

Hello, readers. It’s been a quiet week. We had the driving I mentioned, and I wish the extra early half hour I get there would be overtime. However, I get to leave early, so that’s something, I guess.

There are quite a few changes in the listening list, so I’ll get started on that. First, I finished The Saga of Tanya the Evil Vol 1 and decided to listen to She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 1 by Ryusen Hirotsugu. It’s a VRMMO isekai that has both a manga and an anime (1 season).  Mira was formerly a man who played an old man character named Danblf in the game Ark Earth Online. One night he bought a kit that allows character changes and created his perfect female avatar. However, he randomly fell asleep and woke up 30 years later in the game that has become real. With no way to prove he was Danblf (One of the Wise Men of their kingdom), she says she’s his pupil. Now she has to work together with her game friend (whose the king) to figure out why they’re in the game and find their friends. It’s interesting, as I’ve only previously read the manga.

Next I got to a point where I wanted to read the rest of Life’s a Pay to Win Game, so went through several smaller fics. First was Sight Unseen by sakurademonalchemist. This is Natsume’s Book of Friends, Gamer and KHR crossover I first mentioned here. ‘Takashi’ is really Natsume (Fem. Tsuna) who was taken from Nana when she didn’t react correctly when her daughter was beat up. She was shunted from relative to relative and eventually ran away (Stealing money from the hag who beat her up). However, this version is from the future and also gets the Gamer system. How will our triple power heroine handle her new life? It’s only got 10 chapters was last updated in 2018 and quite honestly, the author stuffed too many things on her.

Second was Elves by kb0. I mentioned this Harry Potter one-shot earlier in the quest, here. After the first chapter of the first book, the Potter’s elf spirits Harry away to raise herself. She finds the horcrux and other elves help her free him from it. They also get all the rest and destroy him without Dumbles knowing. Sirius is even released because of their actions.

Third was Firestorm by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a slight Harry Potter and Avatar: the Last Airbender crossover. Harry is reborn as Zuko and remembers after the fight with his father. With those memories, he leaves after being told that he has to find the Avatar. He spends his time as a glassmaker and finds a female airbender (not Fem. Aang). They travel together and change things. It’s worth a read and is still being updated.

Fourth and the current one is The Fire-eyed Princess also by sakurademonalchemist. This one is a Tsukihime and KHR crossover. Nana is really Arcuied who was had amnesia because of Zelretch. When she remembers, she’s more furious at Iemitsu but happy for her daughter, Tsukiyo. Watch as the ‘family’ makes many changes in the KHR world, including making Bel her storm. It’s a fun read, but was last updated in 2020 and has 7 chapters.

Finally, I also finished Obscured By Clouds and chose to read some more short fics. First was Messenger of Hope by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Naruto and Sonic crossover I first mentioned here. Nozomi is the fastest courier in the Elemental Counties, but in reality, she’s Naruko (Fem Naruto) who found the summoning contract for the Sonic characters. After she fails the academy the third time, she gives up on Konoha and decides to fully become Nozomi. After stealing Sasuke and Hinata, she works to expand her business. She even finds out Eggman is really her grandfather. It’s a fun little fic, but only has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2015.

Second was Odyssey to the Orient by sbmcneil. It’s a fifth year Harry Potter short story that I first mentioned, here. Harry and Ginny accidentally grab a portkey while cleaning Grimmwald Place during the summer. They end up in a house in Asia and have to survive while figuring out where they are. The Order is trying to find them as well, so who will find the other first? It’s finished and a cute Harry/Ginny story.

Third and the current one is a favorite, The Accidental Bond by kb0. This is a Harry Potter AU I first mentioned here. It’s this is Harry/Multi with Hermione, Ginny and Gabrielle (Fleur’s sister). Harry has a special power that activates under certain circumstances (that I’m not revealing as it is secret for the first part of the fic) and bonds women to him. Watch as he bonds the girls and how they all get along. It’s complete and has 33 chapters.

Okay onto the quest (and I plan to finish the F’s today!); first is Fortunate Decision by jojor99. This is a Harry Potter one-shot set after the series. Harry and Ginny have been trying to get married, but one thing or another keeps moving the date. One day, they decide to elope to finally be married. This turns out to be a fortunate decision (lol) as they come the Burrow and find a situation that their wedding prevents. Read and find out what that is.

Second is Free Life by fake a smile. This one is the sequel to Taking Control that I previously mentioned here. Harry has run away after Dumbles found out his secret. Ginny soon joins him after being driven from the Burrow by the Order trying to find him. It had the makings of a good sequel, but currently only has 6 chapters and was last updated in 2011.

Third is From Fake Dreams by Third Fang. This one is another favorite. It’s a Fate series fic mostly focusing on the Fate/Stay Night and parallel stories that I first mentioned here. Kiritsugu Emiya dreams of his son going through the Fifth Holy Grail War and sees several different versions. Upon confirming that his son they’re possible futures by correcting how his son does magecraft, he decides to use the information to fix the future. Things spiral out of control and Shirou does as he does. It’s now at 81 chapters and was last updated at the end of last year.

Fourth is Fullmetal Flames by sakurademonalchemist. This is FMA and KHR crossover that I first mentioned here. Ed and Al are reborn as Tsuna and his younger brother. They escape being sealed and are trained by Fon. They’re not the only ones with memories, but who else does is a secret. Also, there are Yaoi pairing in this a implied lemons, don’t like don’t read. It has 12 chapters and was last updated in 2018.

Fifth is the first prequel to the actual next fic Harry Potter: The Lone Traveller by The Professional. This is a Harry Potter AU where things go wrong. He’s the only one left of his family and friends after finally ending the war. When he tries to go back in time to fix everything, he ends up traveling from world to world helping people. He eventually is put into Wizarding Lore as The Lone Traveler. This is incomplete, but others have continued it (though there is a spinoff of one of the stories that I’ll mention later), like the next one.

The next prequel is Stories of the Lone Traveler by dunuelos. This author continues Harry’s journey, though he expands the worlds he visits. It crosses over with Babylon 5, Naruto, David Eddings’ Belgariad (I’ve been meaning to find and read this, it sounds fun), Star Trek, The Destroyer series (started by Warrn Murphy and Richard Sapir), West Wing, The Big Bang Theory, JAG, NCIS, Joan of Arcadia, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and NYPD Blue. Things are always as they seem, so sometime characters you like are shown in a good light. It has several spin off that I’ll mention later that continue certain stories. It’s complete with 78 chapters.

It’s sequel and the actual next one is Further Adventures of a Lone Traveler by dunuelos. This one continues from the last one but starts with Harry able to visit the afterlife of his original world and see all his old friends. This one has more crossovers: Hogan’s Heroes and Stargate SG-1. It’s shorter with 33 chapters, but the last arc leads to a good conclusion that gives Harry a change in status.

The final F is Future Shock by megamatt09. It’s a Harry Potter, DCU, Smallville and Legion of Super Heroes crossover. If you’re wondering why there’s no link, it’s because it’s been taken off the website. I still have a copy, but that’s because I tend to get PDF of the stories I read for this purpose. Something goes wrong in HP and Harry puts himself in stasis. Years later, the Legion of Super Heroes investigate. It’s a normal megamatt fic with sex scenes, but it does have an interesting story.

I’ve also just found out that my sister-in-law’s grant was not renewed for her non-profit org, which I’m not happy about.
