Digimon Can Make You Late

Hello, my readers! It’s been another week, and it’s been a busy one. I had to finish up things that my co-worker couldn’t do or didn’t know about during my time off when my friend visited. Then my supervisor came back, and we got more things but can’t do anything with them until his says so. It’s frustrating, but what can you do. *shrug*

Sorry this is late, it was combination of being unable to sleep, hosting a zoom for most of Saturday and playing Digimon Story: Time Stranger. I’ve been enjoying it, but I need to get better at exp farming. It seems my Digimon are not at the correct levels for where I am, at least for the boss battles. I’m currently in the Digital World, but I just fixed the trains. I’m going to take some time to grind and get a few of my Digimon to Ultimate before I move on. (lol, the original Digimon theme (Butterfly) performed by the cast just popped up on my playlist as I was writing this.)

If I had written this yesterday, there wouldn’t have been any changes to my listening list. However, today I finished Reincarnated as a Sword vol 14 on Audible and switched to By the Grace of the Gods Vol 2. In this one, Ryoma joins in a monster hunting quest in an abandoned mine. He also gets an idea for using his slimes to do laundry. How will his new business work out?

Moving on to the reading quest; first is Burnt Genes by Night Raydes. This is a one-shot Harry Potter and X-Men crossover, or rather now it is. I vaguely remember it having ten chapters, but this author used to change their name multiple times and rewrite their stories. Now as I previously mentioned, they had a break down and aren’t currently writing. It has Harry awakening a mutation and the X-Men finding him before he goes to Hogwarts. That’s really all that it has currently.

Second is By The Grace of the Gods Book 1-7. This was really added because I listened to them on Audible during the quest and added them. As I’m going to be relistening to them soon, I’m not going describe more for now. Third and last of the B’s is By Your Side is Where I Belong by TexasBean. It’s a Naruto and One Piece crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Zoro gets lost and ends up in the Elemental Nations before meeting Luffy. He does some bounty hunting work and ends up in Konoha where he meets and defends Naruto from an attacker. Kakashi takes this chance to get Naruto a better childhood and manages to “let” Zoro get “lost” with Naruto and convinces him to take him with him. They get young Gaara too and then head out to eventually meet Luffy. It’s fun and has 26 chapters. Sadly, it hasn’t been updated since early 2021.

Fourth and first of the C’s is Cambion by Quatermass. It’s a Harry Potter and High School DxD crossover I’ve talked about before here. Harry is a half devil and James kicks him out of the Potters for having a different father. Hermione reveals that Riser Phenex is his father and asked him to fight him for Rias’ hand in marriage. It has 20 chapters but sadly hasn’t been updated since 2019.

Fifth is Campione of the Holy Grail by fg7dragon. It’s a Fate Stay Night (Heaven’s Feel Route) and Campione crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Things go differently and Ilya gets revenge on Angra Mainyu as they’re in the middle of traveling in the Kaleoscope and blows herself up. This happens in the Campione universe and Ilya is reincarnated in that world with several powers as she had the other Servants spirits in her. Follow her as she has fun in her new world. It has 6 chapters and it’s interesting. Unfortunately, it hasn’t updated since 2017.

Sixth and last as I’m tired is, Campione of the Raging Tide by SeerKing. It’s a Campione fic that I’ve mentioned before here. Basically, a different eighth campione is reborn before the Guinevere arc. She accepts Pandora as her new mother and is directed to get the seventh, Godou, to accept his place before the big battle with the campione slayer that’s coming. Jean, the MC, is mostly interested in women and thus if you don’t like, don’t read. It has 31 chapters and is still updating, though it’s in the author’s schedule so it’s months before an update.

To end, I contacted my old friend to edit what I’ve written for my fanfic. They don’t know the stories much at all, but I know they read and write a lot. Therefore, I’m mostly asking them to edit for readability and if they feel I need to add more because the chapters seem short to me. We’ll see how it goes. A Long Week and More Fics (to Make Up for Last Week’s Absence)

I’ve finished rereading Seerking’s Asylum and continued rereading some more of Ashes of the Past. Before I get to the fanfiction, I wanted to talk about an interesting anime I rewatched the first season of recently. Psycho Pass is psychological dystopian crime anime. While the rest of the world is in chaos (or so we’re led to believe, there’s not much mentioned outside of Japan and that’s only in the Movie), Japan is a ‘utopia’ because the Sybil system can read people’s Psycho Pass (aka their intentions and motives [in general terms]) and judge if they are a ‘latent criminal.’ Instead of police there are now Inspectors and Enforcers. Inspectors what you expect them to be. However, Enforcers are ‘latent criminals’ that work for the law for a little bit of freedom. Follow Akane as she becomes an Inspector and learns the reality behind their ‘utopia.’

For the Myrddin de Celestis quest, The Dragon Phoenix is a multi-crossover based on Harry Potter. It has Harry becoming the Dragon Phoenix! A role that means the world is soon to be at risk from ‘The Storm’ a mysterious tragedy that will be the end of the world unless he defeats it. Eventually a Harry/Ginny story, mostly. It has elements from Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, W.I.T.C.H, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon and more! It’s not complete and is sort of overcomplicated.

The Soul Within is a Harry Potter fic. It has Harry having a twin only he can hear that he wants to give a body to eventually. Looks to eventually have him with his twin and the Greengrasses. Only three chapters, not complete.

Shifting Destiny is a Harry Potter and X-Men crossover. It has Harry ending up married to Pixie after a trip to Vegas. He joins the X-Men and gets away from the Wizarding World. Only four chapters, not finished.

Buffy of the Rebellion is a Buffy: The Vampire Slayer fic where Buffy dies, but has her heart restarted before she even goes to Sunnydale. She escapes and learns more about the Supernatural world while learning how to defend herself. Things still happen with the new Slayer in Sunnydale. Sort of interesting, but isn’t much. Not finished.

Out of Reign is a Harry Potter fic. Harry finds his mother’s trunk in the attic after second year and learns some new things. He pretends he’s normal with the Dursley’s help to fool Aunt Marge. Not finished, only three chapters.

The next few fics are by White Angel of Auralon. Redirection is a Harry Potter fic. It’s a Marauder era fic where Sirius figures out that some of their pranks are going to too far and changes himself. A girl finds she likes his changes and they get together changing things drastically for the war. It’s interesting for only 3 chapter. It’s complete!

Changed Past is a Harry Potter one-shot. When chasing a criminal, he ends up in the past. He decides to change somethings, but not too much. It’s interesting how things can change so much and yet stay the same.

Irish Home is another Harry Potter one-shot. Harry decides to go live at one of his family’s houses instead of going back to the Dursley’s after first year. It’s about how he adjusts and meets the people around him.

The last fic I’ll mention is another new one from sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Harry Potter and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover called New Beginnings. In it, Ed is Fem Ed and Fem Harry (who is from sometime after the war) offers to cover the cost of Alphonse’s body and soul. Now a voice in Fem Ed’s head Fem Harry helps them out. Read the first chapter (at least) in the compilation fic and am looking forward to more chapters.

It’s Short This Week (Cause I Work Tomorrow)

Hello, everyone! I’m here again and I started working for the company instead of for a temp agency this week. There was a lot of overtime this week and I’m doing some tomorrow. I reread Harry Potter and The Chance at a New Life and started rereading Desperately Seeking Ranma (from the point I last stopped) and did the same with Ashes of the Past. I saw Spiderman: Far From Home this weekend and I really liked it. I knew Mysterio was a bad guy from information I heard about the comics, so I wasn’t really surprised. The Peter ‘Tingle’ was hilarious, and it was cute how he and MJ got together at the end. The side ‘romance’ of their friends was weird, but I guess some relationships are like that.

While the main plots of the story were interesting in Peter finally accepting that he’s more than just a neighborhood hero and getting together with MJ, the twists (especially at the end) are more interesting to me. So, he’s won, got the girl and everything’s right. Then, WAM, J. James Jameson reveals a video that accuses Spiderman of being the bad guy and reveals his identity to the world. Really did not see that coming. Finally, the last end credit scene with Fury and Hill being the Skrull Talos and his wife. They talked with the real Fury about what happened and he’s somewhere in space with other Skrull. Wonder how both will play out in upcoming Marvel Films.

I took a bit of a break from the Myrddin de Celestis Quest, but I did start reading Harry Potter and the Mutant Academy of Magic. It has Harry getting mutant powers at a young age and the X-Men finding him and bringing him back to the Institute. Now older, he’s going to Hogwarts to learn magic and get back at those who wronged him. Read only 5 of 10 chapters, but it hasn’t been updated since 2013. However, since it wasn’t put with the others, I can only assume it’ll be finished at some point.

I also read some of the web novel of Arifureta: From Commonplace to the World’s Strongest by Ryo Shirakome. It follows the story of Hajime Nagumo, an otaku that was transported with all of his class to a magical world. He was weaker than everyone else but had the attention of one of the most popular girls in class. This makes at least one classmate mad and when Hajime protected them from a powerful monster, a ‘stray’ spell knocks him deep into the abyss. He evolves there and becomes powerful but stops caring about his class and others. He meets and frees Yue (a vampire princess) and gains God killing powers there. It follows their story. The anime just started, and the second episode comes out Monday.

I finally went to go see Toy Story 4 yesterday and it was as good as I imagined. Bo Peep showed up and we learned why she left the movies originally. The movie also brought up the question of what really counts as a toy with Forky who was made from trash and wanted to go back into it. It also covered how toys feel about just being left on a shelf forever. Buzz’s ‘inner voice’ was funny.

There wasn’t really a ‘bad guy’ in the movie. Even the toy who was in the role had her reasons and got an owner. Woody made the decision to stay with Andy instead of going with Bo Peep, but since Bonnie didn’t need him he made the opposite decision. It’s a great movie and I enjoyed the plush’s imaginary sequences.

Signed, Anonymous by Enchanted Pink Jade is a Saint Tail fic I reread last week. It has Meimi and Asuka Jr. exchanging a dairy anonymously talking about their problems and how to solve them. It’s a cute little ten chapter fic that was written many years ago.

Senju Naruto is a new fic by TheBeardedOne that was started last Monday and finished yesterday. It has Danzo trying to steal Naruto soon after the Kyubi attack and Kakashi stopping it. He takes Naruto away and they both end up under Tsunade’s protection as her ‘sons.’ It’s a fun fic and there might be a sequel!

For The Honor of the Regiment is by mp3.1415player. It’s a Worm and BOLO series (haven’t read it, but it has AI tanks) crossover with one of the BOLO tanks eventually taking over Taylor’s Shard. It activates early and she is trained from an early age. It switches back and forth between the beginning and current time. Fun, but may be confusing to some people.

Trial by Fire is the latest by sakurademonalchemist. It was in a compilation fic and is a Harry Potter and One Piece fic. It has ‘Harry becomes Ace’ as the difference from Ace is Harry so we’ll see how the continuation goes.

I’ll finish the first part of the Myrddin de Celestis quest since there’s only 24 chapters left. Chapter 71 is The Truths of Avalon. It was a one-shot Buffy and Harry Potter crossover. There’s no Buffy in it, but Harry goes slightly insane, turns into a girl (or was always one and it was hidden, don’t know) and escapes the Dursleys.

Chapter 72 is Thrice Bound. It was a five-chapter Harry Potter story I’d read before. Harry is a triplet of the two boys-who-lived and is often forgotten. He meets Ginny and Luna on his tenth birthday and becomes soul-bound to them.

Chapter 73 is Twisting Worlds. It was a four-chapter Final Fantasy XIII and Harry Potter crossover. Lighting and Vanille are separated from the others and find Serah. They eventually end up on earth and meet Harry and his twin sister who are new l’Cie. Don’t know anything about Final Fantasy so can’t say much about this.

Chapter 74 is Two Worlds. It was one-shot Twilight and Hannah Montana crossover (or would be). In it Renesmee doesn’t like Jacob and rejects him. Alice helps her move to Malibu, but it doesn’t happen in the chapter.

Chapter 75 is Lost Art. It was a one-shot Naruto fic. Naruto leaves Jiraya early on their training trip to learn a lost art from a book. Jiraya doesn’t left Konoha know until he gets back at the end of three years. They were about to go looking for Naruto.

Chapter 76 is We Will Be Heroes. It was a one-shot Twilight fic. The husbands of the younger gen vampires are cheating and the girls decide to become superheroes. … yeah, it’s kinda weird.

Chapter 77 is Ionic Storm. It’s longest story here at 44 chapters. It has so many crossovers (especially in the last chapters) that I’ll only mention Harry Potter, inFamous and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It’s like previously mentioned stories, Fem. Harry gets inFamous powers and is brought late to Hogwarts. Is M for a reason!

Chapter 78 is Midnight Savior. It was a two-chapter Twilight fic. Bella is the reborn ‘savior’ and awakens her powers before she goes to Forks. She’ll end up with Alice, but they haven’t gotten together yet.

Chapter 79 is Upgrade Override. It was a two-chapter Twilight and Xenosaga crossover. Taylor goes on a field trip after Edward lives and gets infused with nanobots. She saves Jane and they travel together.

Chapter 80 is Demonic Bloodlines. It was two-chapter Naruto fic. Naruto meets the Kyubi when he’s thrown off the cliff and instead of summoning a toad, Fem. Kyubi helps him. He meets Hinata and goes to train with Guy.

Chapter 81 is Neketo Uzumaki. It was a seven-chapter Naruto fic. Fem. Naruto gets the Sharingan and is much better. Yeah, not very interesting.

Chapter 82 is Hidden Element Kunoichi. It was a one-shot Naruto fic. Fem. Naruto pretends to be fat and only reveals she’s a kunoichi. Fem. Sasuke (those she’s his twin) and Hinata are her teammates and they’ll end up together.

Chapter 83 is Unoblivious. It was a 13-chapter Harry Potter fic. Mostly one-shot stories about Harry asking questions instead of just plowing forward.

Chapter 84 is Possible Abominations. It was a one-shot Kim Possible fic. Ron is murdered while she’s on a mission and she promises to avenge him.

Chapter 85 is Evolution of Mana. It was a one-shot Harry Potter and X-Men crossover. Harry becomes a mutant while saving a girl from kidnaping and Professor X senses him.

Chapter 86 is History Reborn. It was a two-chapter Harry Potter fic. It’s similar to another where Harry and Ginny plan to go back to the past but is mostly only his recollections of the past.

Chapter 87 is In the Era of the Fabled. It was a two-chapter Harry Potter and Naruto crossover. Naruto and Harry are born with each other’s expected powers and one odd eye. They’re connected, but Naruto hasn’t even been mentioned in the story yet. Just Harry meeting Ginny.

Chapter 88 is Memory of the Arts. It was a two-chapter Naruto fic. Essentially a Missing Hokage fic, but with Naruto losing his memory and not caring about others.

Chapter 89 is Burst Reality. It was a 19-chapter Harry Potter, Final Fantasy VII, Buffy and Code Geass crossover. Harry and Ginny are time and space Gods to be. Harry knows he is and dimension travels to grow up in a better environment. He de-ages and comes back to go to Hogwarts. It was once much longer, and Ginny knew she was one. It also has a rewrite I’ll cover later.

Chapter 90 is Mana Uncovered. It was a one-shot Harry Potter fic. It has a mad-scientist Harry who makes a clone of his beloved twin sisters.

Chapter 91 is The League of Justice. It was a one-shot Naruto and DC crossover. It’s a slight extension of a Mythical Night that explains about Batgirl and Artemis.

Chapter 92 is Player. It was a four-chapter Harry Potter fic (eventual DC crossover). It has Sirius faking his death and Harry goes to Gringotts to do things. The Order is useless, and Harry wins some money.

Chapter 93 is White Flames. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter fic. In it Harry gets a mysterious power and bulks up. Possibly has seer powers, maybe.

Chapter 94 is Infamous City. It was a two-chapter Naruto fic. The world has much better technology, but they still need ninjas. Naruto saves Hinata and ends up betrothed to both her and her sister. It’s the last one of Mystical Codex, but I’ll cover the other stories next!

The Quest Backtracks a Little Bit

Hello everyone, it’s time for me to inform you of what happened over the weekend and what I’ve read. I participated in the Lotad and Castform event on Saturday and got 2 shiny Lotads and 7 shiny Castforms! I also finished Honestly Harry – Greengrass Days and Paradise Nights. The new chapter this weekend were: Relic of the Future, Gun Bunny, The Unseen Hunt, Broken Dreams, Master Potter of Kamar-Taj (this was an April Fools chapter), Mauling Snarks (an April Fools ‘End’ Chapter, a real chapter and a PHO segment), Deku: The Golden Sayan Hero of Hope and Service with a Smile.

I started reading the latest of the Honestly Harry series, Honestly Harry – The Year of the Spares. It covers the gangs’ fourth year and is still being written. It’s current chapter (64) ends at the beginning of the final task of the Tri-Wizard Tournament. How will Harry and his ladies deal with a (not unexpected) tournament, where things don’t seem to go as planned? How can it be a Tri-Wizard Tournament, when there were more than three schools called in the first place? Find out what’s happening and more!

Moving on to the sakurademonalchemist quest, (still not having ‘first, second, next, then) I decided to go back and read some I had skipped. Silent Death was skipped because I haven’t played/watch anything to do with Silent Hill, which is crossed over with Supernatural. Silent Hill is a game about an area called Silent Hill where a young girl was almost killed by cultists. In retribution, the cultists are hunted and I didn’t really care to learn much more.

In the fic, Sam ends up there and makes a deal with the supernatural force there to let a girl and her family live. He does this by leaving a part of himself there (he’s young, middle school or high school age). Za’afiel (the force in this story) helps him out as he can and changes his story. It’s four chapters long and was last updated in 2015.

The second one was Redemption and it’s a straight Supernatural fic. I hadn’t decided to read all of them when I skipped this one, because it blatantly says it has gay relationships in it. In the bad future that Dean sees with Lucifer and Sam, the future Sam uses Lucifer’s power to sent himself back in time. He plans to change things, but Heaven notices something’s different. How will this change things? As mentioned, male/male relationships, Don’t Like, Don’t Read! Was also last updated in 2015.

Back to where I was before, Guardian Mage is a Harry Potter and Shugo Chara! Crossover. Harry is taken in by the author of ‘The Heart’s Egg’ at a young age and grows up around Charas. He gets his own and when he’s forced to Hogwarts, helps others get them. This one and all others after it were last updated and unfinished unless otherwise stated.

Shadow of a Gamer is a Yu-Gi-Oh! fic. It turns out Yugi’s real other half was Ba-Ku-Ra’s only friend. What will Yami (the Pharaoh) do when he meets his container’s true other half? Only one chapter.

Cat’s Shadow is a Yu-Gi-Oh! and Harry Potter crossover with a personification of the author as the main character. She changes things by befriending Kaiba and becoming his secretary. When Mokuba is forced to Hogwarts, Sakura follows and finds Harry Potter, who she helps. It’s 13 chapters.

Shadow of a Gundam is a spin-off of Cat’s Shadow where Harry is broken mentally and is de-aged and sent to the Gundam Wing Realm to rebuild himself. Gay pairings, Don’t Like, Don’t Read.

Death’s Daughter is a Hell Girl and Harry Potter crossover. After Ai is ‘killed’ she is saved by the embodiment of Death who takes her on as his daughter. After making sure she can’t return to being controlled, she talks over part of Hell. She ends up in Hogwarts to learn magic. It’s two chapters.

Untainted Wings is a D.N.Angel fic where the children of the character are accidentally forced by in time to the time of the series. In order to protect those who came before them, they decide to change the future.

I Finished Kingdom Hearts 3!

Hi friends, I’ve done it, I’ve finished Kingdom Hearts 3 today! It took 26ish hours in-between work and sleep over the last two weeks, but I’m glad I played it. The ending, wow, not completely happy with it, but I don’t hate it. It’s obviously not the end of the series (way too many things unanswered and new questions came up). I’m looking forward to the continuing story, though for now it will continue in Kingdom Hearts Union x (KHUx). In watching some of the Japanese translated story quests (they’re a bit ahead of the international version) and we learn more about some of the members of the Organization’s somebodies. I watched it on Everglow’s channel. He has all of the story quests from KHUx and a Kingdom Hearts timeline episodes. I have many thoughts about the KH3 story, but I’ll wait to talk about it until Monday when I have had more time to take it all in.

It didn’t read much this week because of that and work, but I did read some things. I finished rereading Harry Potter and the Stargate and reading Harry Potter and The Chance at a New Life. The new chapters for this week are: Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub, Reality Bites Worm, Pain and Hatred: A Stray Devil’s Tale, Heroes Assemble!, Titanfall, Seerking’s Asylum, Ashes to Flame, Mauling Snarks, Taylor Varga (omake). I also finished my fanfiction archive with everything I’ve mentioned so far (as far as I know, I might have missed a few). Feel free to use it to find a story you like!

I read several shorter stories, but I didn’t get much as previously mentioned. The first two are from White Angel of Auralon. They’re called Older Brother and Older Brother – Tournament Trails. It’s the first and sequel of a Harry Potter story where Harry is born several years earlier. His younger brother is born around the time he would be and their grandmother and grandfather die protecting them, leaving their parents alive. It’s the story of Harry protecting his brother and his friends from Voldie and Dumbles as he goes about living his life. Both are six chapters long, but that doesn’t make them bad.

I also reread a story from sakurademonalchemist called Bonds Across Time. It’s a crossover between KHR and InuYasha where fem. Tsuna falls into another well in her hometown and ends up in the feudal era. She finds the Primo and his guardians and becomes their little sister. She eventually also meets Kagome and the crew. It’s a good story, but again it’s incomplete.

The final one is another I’m rereading called Mutant Storm by Bobmin356. It’s an X-Men and Harry Potter crossover where Harry awakens his mutant powers after learning that learning the prophesy. He learns that things aren’t as they seem and feels betrayed. Jean feels his anguish from America and goes to find him. She learns that Lily was her sister (Dumbles erased her memory of her family and her family’s memories of her when she decided to go Xavior’s school). He goes with her and has to decide, is the English wizarding world really worth saving?

One finally thing I forgot to mention last post, I saw Aquaman in theaters. It’s good and I find I enjoy the solo hero DC movies than the ones about multiple heroes together. There were classic chichés in it, but that’s normal (like the kiss in the middle of the big battle). I hope there are more better DC movies and look forward to the Marvel ones over the next few months.

A Change in the Schedule

Hello my readers (the few of you there are), it’s been yet another weekend! There have still not been any votes on my poll, so my friend’s opinion looks like it will be the only one I’ll base my decision on. I said next post because I am changing my second posting day to Friday instead of Thursday. The reason for this is because I now have a class on Thursday night and might not be able to post if I leave it for that night.

Moving on to the part of this that most people care about, I read some more Taylor Varga, Mythical Night and Harry Potter and The Daft Morons. The new chapters this weekend were: Breaking the Gilded Cage, Ashes to Flame, Mauling Snarks (Fri & Mon), Primordial Vortex, Relic of the Future, Less than Zero, Gun Bunny, The Unseen Hunt, Worm: More Than Meets the Eye, The Gamer and Taylor Varga (4 new connected Omakes over the past few days).

I’ll start with the new story by nordiamus, ‘Game On! 3 1.’ It’s not 4 0 because fem Tsuna doesn’t reincarnate to move to the next story because it’s in the same world as the last one. The next crossover story is Yu Yu Hakusho. Fem Tsuna comes in soon after Yusuke ‘dies’ because he will be the one to lead her to missing ‘pack mates.’ She helps him while trying to find them. So, yeah, the rest of the fanfics will be new (for me and you) sakurademonalchemist ones, again. I’ll say again, I like most of their stories, just not the fact that next to none of them are complete. The first one is called ‘Quirks’ and is a straight Naruto fic. It has Itachi creating a false identity as a female half-sister (that he found on a mission, using shadow clones at first) to annoy his father and cause problems with their marriage. The next one is called ‘Against the Dying of the Light’ and is a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover. In it, fem Harry has been forced to marry Ron after the war. She finds herself invited to the Fifth Holy Grail War and uses it as a way to break the shackles the Wizarding World placed on her. Watch as she joins the war and finds herself in between two Archers who have an interest in her. What will happen? Then the one after that was ‘Artemis Fox,’ which is a Harry Potter and X-Men crossover. It has Lily unknowingly sleeping with Wolverine and fem Harry being his child. After the events of Halloween, she is still left with the Dursleys. However, she is dumped in a forest at a young age and takes care of herself. After that was the fic ‘Sekirei Game’ a Sekirei, Harry Potter and Gamer crossover. It has fem Harry with the Gamer power being dropped off in Japan at a young age. Her power allows her to wing Sekirei, but she ignores it until an accident causes her to confirm Homura (#6) and she becomes involved in the game. Following that is the fic, ‘Jade Angel’ and it’s sequel ‘Angel Avenger,’ which is a Harry Potter and Supernatural crossover. Jade has fem Harry being killed by Vernon after fourth year. After going to Heaven, she is thrown out because she didn’t finish the angel Zachariah’s job for him, because he didn’t want to do it. She runs away to America to be a dancer. She eventually becomes an actress and goes to Hollywood. She meets many of the Supernatural and changes things for the better. Then there was ‘Mirror Magic, a Harry Potter, Magical Nanoha and D.N.Angel crossover. It has Harry being a descendant to the Niwa and Hikari (at some much later time after D N Angel). He gets earrings in the shape of a white and a black wing. Dark and Krad are able to talk to him and help him run away to Japan. There he ends up with the Takamichis. Following that is ‘Demon Bounty Hunter’ which is a crossover between Harry Potter and Supernatural. It has a Harry, who is actually Sam’s twin, who agrees to because Crowley’s bounty hunter to free him from the Death Eaters clutches after the Light abandons him because they learn he is not a Potter. Finished with that, Yay! I went to the theater and saw “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” I really liked this movie. I found it fun how when a new ‘Spider-Person,’ they did an abbreviated origin story. This is a great example of how to introduce multiple characters in a movie and not make it feel cramped or too much. Miles Morales gets his powers and is thrown into a world that’s suddenly expanded with people who know what he’s going through. For them, their stories have been going for a while, but this is his origin story.

No matter how strange the other Spider-People are, they were all introduced in comics previously. Miles is the most recent, having only been introduced in 2016. With Peni Parker and Spider-Woman being introduced in 2014. If you’re looking for a fun movie for all ages, I would definitely recommend this one.

Today I started rereading the Pick Up the Piece series and got part way through the second one Move On. There were new chapters for – Tsunami, Viridescent, A Smile on Your Face and a Song in Your Heart, Mauling Snarks, Taylor Varga and Stand Together and Smile. I read more new sakurademonalchemist stories also.

The first one is called ‘Moon Sword’ and it is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Fate/Stay Night. It has Usagi and Shirou switching places in the fire (meaning Usagi was there for the fire and had her memories wiped, then Usagi ended up with Kiritsugu and Shirou was adopted into Usagi’s family, who thought she was dead). It also had the Moon and ‘Atlantis’ (where Endymion lived) around the time of Babylon, where Gilgamesh was also interested in Serenity (who only went after Endymion because her mother kept pushing her at him). When she summons him away from the church, he recognizes her and decides to help her and stay around. Things change drastically. The second one was ‘Angel Fire’, which is a crossover between the Guild Hunter series and Harry Potter. The Guild Hunter series’ first book is “Angel’s Blood” and it was the other thing I read today. Angel’s Blood is about Elena Deveraux, who is a vampire hunter. It’s not like normal though, vampires are Made (yes, it’s also captiallized in the book) by Angels from people who want to live longer (most of the time). They have to serve the Angel who turns them for a long time before they’re free. When a vampire runs away from that service or starts hunting humans, people like Elena are sent to capture or kill them. Elena is one of the best, that’s why the local Archangel, Raphael, chooses her for a very special assignment, hunting down another Archangel who’s turning to bloodlust. She has to do this, while fighting off her attraction to Raphael.

It’s an interesting series and I only found it because I wanted to read Angel Fire. There’s romance, but no sex scenes. I would recommend it.

Angel Fire is about a female Harry who discovers she’s Angel born when Umbridge pushes her off a tower and her wings reveal themselves. She runs away and ends up in Raphael’s territory. Today I read more Pick Up the Piece series and got part way thought the third and last, Rebuild. The new chapters for today were Relic of the Future and Heroes Assemble! I once again read some new sakurademonalchemist stories.

The first was ‘Daughter of Flame’ and it is a Fullmetal Alchemist and Harry Potter crossover. It has female Harry being the daughter of Roy Mustang instead and her going through the Gate to meet him after her fourth year. There she eventually meets the Elric brothers and journeys with them. They follow her to Hogwarts to learn about magic. Oh, did I mention that the Wizarding World thinks she’s a boy? Find out here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11569177/1/Daughter-of-Flame.

The second one was ‘Summoner’s Sword’ and it is a Fate/Stay Night and Chrono Crusade crossover. Chrono Crusade (which I haven’t read in a long time) is about Rosette Christopher and her soul-bound demon Chrono, who are members of the Order of Magdalene. They hunt other demons across America while searching for Rosette’s brother, who was taken by another demon. It’s an interesting story and the anime and manga have different endings (I don’t know which one is better because I don’t think I’ve watched the anime).

Summoner’s Sword’s only real crossover with Chrono Crusade is that Shirou is from the Harvenheit clan (Satella Harvenheit is a jewel summoner in Chrono Crusade). His abilities as a Harvenheit can only be revived when Shirou is hypnotized and his other personality changes. Säbel is this other personality’s name. Shirou can still use his normal abilities as himself, but he can now change personalities to change his abilities. This changes many things and Säbel makes things better. Finally, there was ‘Identity Crisis,’ a crossover between Doctor Who and Harry Potter. It has the Metacrisis Doctor (the one from the end of season 4 of the reboot, the duplicate of The Doctor who’s part human), being left by Rose because he isn’t The Doctor. He then finds a way to a parallel universe and uses a ritual to reincarnate himself so he can find a way to activate his Time Lord abilities. He ends up as Harry Potter. I also watched the new Robin Hood movie today. It was okay. I’m not really recommending it, but it’s not a horrible movie. They tried to humanize the Sheriff, but it kinda fell flat because he’s working for the people that abused him. I would have liked to maybe have them try to semi-save him (meaning he acted for the good guys in the end). I also felt that one character’s plot twist was a bit too much. I mean there’s spite and then there’s WTF. All in all, probably better off as a one-time Red Box rental.

I finished up the Pick Up the Pieces rereading and I finally made those lists I was talking about so I don’t reintroduce a fanfiction, story, show or movie! The new chapters were from – The Unseen Hunt and Tsunami. There are more new sakurademonalchemist (now SDA to not have to type that name every time) stories as well (I’m working through them backwards).

The first one is ‘Adamantium’ and it is an X-Men and Harry Potter crossover. It has Magneto waking up on the train to Hogwarts as an eleven year old with no idea how he got there. The next one is called, ‘Befriending Sword.’ It’s a Lyrical Nanoha and Fate/Stay Night crossover where Yunno meets Shirou instead and makes him a magical boy. Today I read a few more chapters of Ashes of the Past. The new chapters for today are Mauling Snarks, The Gamer (webcomic) and Headstart. There are no new stories from SDA today, yay! I also activated another Meltan box.

I reread ‘Campione of the Holy Grail’ by fg7dragon. It’s a crossover between Heaven’s Feel (Type Moon Universe, same time frame but different route from Fate/Stay Night) and Campione! Illya ends up the last one alive to face Angra Mayu and ends up becoming a Campione for killing him. She becomes the 7^th Campione and does what she wants (basically explore the world). I read a new story called ‘Reality Bites Worm’ by Selector. It’s a pure Worm fic that has Taylor triggering at a different time. She gathers an all female team together and with some help becomes a force for good. I find it interesting and it has 27 chapters, with more to come as it was updated on the 27^th of last month. Finally, I also watched “Christopher Robin.” I enjoyed it and it’s message, that living to work isn’t really living at all. I remember watching Winnie the Pooh when I was younger and thought the live action versions were nice. I like the symbolism that he’s the Heffalump taking all the happiness away. I would very much recommend it!

A Sinyk Weekend

Today I had more Fate’s Gamble and that was mostly all I did for the day reading wise. There was of course today’s new Mauling Snarks chapter, but no other new chapters for stories. However, there was a new sequel for a series I liked that came out today. It’s the third in the series and it’s called ‘Ashes to Flame’ by rayrae118.

The series is based of the 2009 remake Star Trek films (way too much here to try and explain; look it up or don’t worry about it if you don’t know about it). The first one ‘Another Little White Lie’, starts after he drives his stepfather’s car off the cliff. He’s sent to his aunt on Tarsus IV (which I just looked up and apparently is cannon, well that he’s there at least) and lives through the tragedy there. From there he looks after the kids he saved (from a distance) and (as he’s much smarter than canon) gets a higher education. Eventually leading to a similar, but different bar scene before he joins the academy. This one goes to end of the first movie. The second one goes extrapolates on things, but deals with things before and after the second movie. The author has written two other series, a Harry Potter one and an X-Men one, that I also recommend. The first one is a Harry/Ginny one that starts at the end of third year (and goes through the fourth year) called ‘It’s OK Not To Be OK (But I Promise, I’m Trying).’ It has Harry having to deal with the abuse of the Dursley’s and getting help to overcome what happened (a common theme for this author. The second one is a “X-Men: First Class” AU where Charles and Erik go to see a different last mutant, which changes things that happen. I also went to Target to get my Zekrom/Reshiram code (I only got one because I had to convince the people that the while the Thundurus/Tornadus ones they had [of which there were many] could be redeemed through the 29 of this month; their event was technically over and the other one started today. When the box of them was checked, I was right ^_^) and Game Stop to get the Zeraora code (And once again, I have all the current Pokémon!)

Today was more Fate’s Gamble (and I might take a break. Don’t know why this time is harder than before. I’m only up to 44 of 80.). I got a few new chapters for Relic of the Future and Harry Potter and the Stargate (I enjoyed Harry’s parody of Albus in this chapter). I decided to reread the second as it only has 16 chapter and I finished 11 of them today (on a side note, I didn’t realize [because I ignored the A/Ns] that there’s a reference to the British 1998 film the “The Avengers” [Nothing to do with the Marvel Universe at all to my knowledge, having not watched it]. This is because Petunia Dursley’s and Horace Slughorn’s actors had main roles in it. It was a clever reference).

In new chapters for stories I haven’t mentioned yet, I learn that ‘Naruto the Mightiest Disciple!’ by godospartain the Kitsune is going on Hiatus. As they haven’t updated it in forever (it started in 2011 and the last chapter we got from them was in 2017, a year after the chapter before it was posted), I was surprised to even hear from them. It’s a Naruto and Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple crossover that has Naruto (3 years old) being sent away via jutsu by the Third after being stabbed by Danzo. He ends up in the KtMD universe and being raised by Ryozanpaku along with Miu. It’s okay (I haven’t read it in a while), but you can read it if you want. The second chapter was from a Naruto story called ‘Better Left Unsaid’ by Kenichi618. It has Naruto not learning he has the Kyuubi from Mizuki and ending up on team 9 with Ino and Shikamaru. This changes many things. I like both this one and the author. They have quite a few stories and while some are not my cup of tea (or I don’t know the original story well enough), they have some good ones. So, I finished rereading Harry Potter and the Stargate (the next chapter comes out on Wednesday). There were new chapters for The Unseen Hunt and Enough (the eighth and last chapter). Other than that I decided to reread some of Sinyk’s other stories I haven’t mention yet (I think).

The first one was ‘Harry Potter and the Old Friend’ which is nine chapters. It has Ignotus Peverell (the third brother that had the Deathly Hallows) taking over Harry’s body a little before his eleventh birthday and setting things up to change the future for the better. The second one was ‘Harry Potter – Three to Backstep’. It has Harry dying to Voldemort in the forest in a vastly different Battle of Hogwarts. He ends up in front of his Grim Reaper/Guardian Angel and learns it’s his 6^th death and Heaven is sending back with Hermione and Daphine Greengrass (With a soul-bond between them) to the beginning of 4^th year to fix things (including dealing with potioning the younger two Weasley’s are doing to make them love/be loyal to them and Dumbles’ manipulations). Monday

I’m still working on Harry Potter – Three to Backstep (only 9 chapters left!). I was very happen to see a new chapter for ‘Pick up the Pieces and Rebuild’ when I woke up this morning. There were also new chapters from History Strongest Disciple Again!, How Eating a Strange Fruit Gave Me My Quirk, Mending the Knots and Mauling Snarks.

There was also a new chapter for another one of ack1308’s stories ‘Trump Card’ (which has nothing to do with the President). It’s a Worm story (big surprise) where Taylor gets the power to copy another parahuman’s power that’s within her range. She ends up with Über and L33t. This chapter is supposed to be the second to last, but maybe there’ll be a sequel (there’s a lot of unfinished business, a least I think). I also went to Game Stop and sold my old Pokemon Games (White, X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Sun and Moon [the last two are extra copies I got to get more hat Pikachu’s in a past event]) to go towards the Let’s Go games. I also got my second (and last, because I only have one of each of the Ultra games) Zeraora code while I was there.
