Tuesday
Hello mina! Today, I read more God Slaying Blade Works. The new chapters today were from Black Sky and Reality Bites Worm. I also watched some Eyeshield 21 anime.
I read some comics from project-ml on DeviantArt. They are all based on Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and were typically about the reveal of each other’s identities. The first one was ‘Love Bug’ and is set around Valentines Day a year from the one in first season and has 5 chapters. The rest are shorter, but some of them are called: ‘Why Chat Does Not Prank His Lady’ and ‘Halloween Reveal.’ These can be found at their gallery here – https://www.deviantart.com/project-ml/gallery/.
There was also a short chapter from another Miraculous story called ‘Email Exchange’ by XphiaDP. Instead of the characters getting their Miraculous, they are set up with a secret email exchange with another student who you don’t know the name of. The story follows the emails between ‘Ladybug’ and ‘Chat Noir.’ The link to the fic can be found here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12242473/1/Email-Exchange.
There was also a fun little one-piece from the Fate universe called ‘Shirou and Lancer Drink Tea’ by Lord Mendasuit. Instead of Lancer killing Shirou again at his house, Shirou offers him tea and informs him that he is a mage, thus doesn’t need to be killed. This leads to amusing events and an interesting conclusion. It also reminded me of a fun little omake at the end of chapter 41 of From Fake Dreams that has waffles changing the course of the Fifth Grail War. The link to the one piece is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10734607/1/Shirou-and-Lancer-Drink-Tea and the link to the chapter with the omake is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/7207791/41/From-Fake-Dreams.
That’s it for today, folks. See you tomorrow!
Wednesday
It was once again a day full of God Slaying Blade Works and watching some more Eyeshield 21. The new chapters today were from: Black Sky, Organization 13 and a Half, It’s in the Cards, and Heroes Assemble! I also reread another one of sakurademonalchemist’s stories that I haven’t mentioned yet.
This one is called ‘Sight Unseen’ and is a crossover between Natsume’s Book of Friends and KHR. It has a female Tsuna getting taken from his mother’s custody and placed with her grandfather. Then she takes on the role of Takashi from Natusme’s Book of Friends. Oh, did I mention that she’s been shunted back to her younger self and has the gamer system? Watch how this mash-up turns out, here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12904481/1/Sight-Unseen.
Since it came out on DVD yesterday, I also took the time to rent “A House with a Clock in Its Walls” with Jack Black. It’s based on the book of the same name by John Bellairs. When his parents die, Lewis is sent to his Uncle Johnathan. However, his Uncle and his neighbor Florence seem to hiding something. He eventually learns that magic is real and the house is alive (and likes him). He starts to learn magic himself. But, what’s with that clock that’s inside the walls? I liked this movie, but I’m glad I waited until it was available to rent because it wouldn’t have been worth seeing in theaters.
Nothing more for today people, see everyone when I post tomorrow!
Thursday
It was God Slaying Blade Words and Eyeshield 21 again, but I also started rereading It’s in the Cards as well. There were new chapters from: Under the Sea, Demon Lord of the End, Black Sky (chapter 300!), and Mending the Knots. I also saw a trailer for a new Men In Black called Men in Black International. It has Liam Neeson, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in it and looks interesting. It’s in theaters in June next year.
The only other thing I did today (other than play some of the new proud mode levels on KHUx) was watch the ending and then the beginning of two movies on TV. I watched the later half of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” To be honest I’m a bigger fan of the first movie, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” While I like Johnny Depp, I felt this character and story was trying too hard. Maybe I’m just biased, but those are my thoughts on it.
I watched the beginning of “The Santa Clause 2.” I agree with what some of my relatives said, that it’s the best of the three movies. My list goes: 2, 1, and then 3. The first one is good, and a classic, but the second one has a much better story and plot (in my opinion). The third was just another example of a franchise trying to overreach itself. If they had stopped at the second one I would have been perfectly happy.
That concludes today! I have decided skip next Monday’s post on Christmas (Happy Early Christmas/Holidays Everyone!), so my next post will be next Thursday. See you then!
