Hello, again readers. It’s been… over a month… yeah. Sorry about that, I could say I’ve been busy, but that wouldn’t exactly be true. This blog just stopped being the priority because I was focusing on what I was reading and doing. I’m not depressed or anything so don’t worry (if you were).
Anyway, great news! I finally got a beta reader! That’s why this didn’t come out on Sunday, because I was working to get in contact and get the first 10 chapters over to them. I haven’t seen any edits, but I haven’t really been looking at the document. They contacted me on FF.net (which I’d kind of given up on). They’re Dragon and Sword Master on FF.net.
Anyway, onto what I’ve been listening to this past month or so; I finished Campfire Cooking in Another World Vol 3 and moved onto She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 6. In this one, after dealing with an imposter, Mira spends some time with Mariana. Then she goes to meet the Isuzu Alliance and finds someone there! Read more to find out!
I also finished that one and have moved onto a new series, The Tale of a Little Alchemist Blessed by the Spirits Vol 1. A young girl dies having been sick and having been ignored by her house for getting the job, Maid, from the Gods. The only thing she had was a plant she cared for. She’s reborn in another noble family but leaves the new soul in the body with her knowledge memories and takes all of her bad memories. Daisy, the new soul, is given the job, Alchemist. Watch as she takes this new job and runs with it with the help of spirits.
Next, I finished Chaos Hunter and moved onto Knight of the Fallen Order by Masseffect-TxS. This one is a Star Wars and RWBY crossover. The premise is that Jaune was kidnapped by aliens at a young age. He was saved by the Jedi, and because they didn’t know where he came from and he was force sensitive; he became a Jedi. He survived Order 66 and escaped for two years. He is found by an inquisitor, and they end up crash landing on Remnant in time for Jaune to help Ruby try and stop Roman. It’s a fun little story, but it incomplete. It only has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2022.
When I finished Knight of the Fallen Order, I moved onto Gorgon by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works crossover. Illya ends up in Diagon Alley after dying from Gilgamesh, the summer before Harry goes to Hogwarts. Deciding she would rather help Harry than deal with her family again; she goes to Hogwarts as well. She becomes the Queen of Slytherin and starts to change things. It’s supposed to eventually become a Harry/Illya pairing, but it doesn’t get that far. It’s also incomplete with () chapters and was last updated in ().
Both of those were random rolls, but I chose the next replacement myself. It’s called Brockton’s Celestial Forge by Lord Roustabout. This is a fic I just read, and I wanted to listen to it as it’s a lot. It’s a Jumpchain fic based on the original Celestial Forge settings. So, the idea is that the Jumpchain has lots of different powers (mostly from other series) and after a certain number of words written (like 1,000 or 2,000), the MC gets a number of points (like 100 or 200) and rolls for a power. If they have enough points, they get and can use that power. If they don’t the points are saved for the next roll. This fic follows, Jozef, a minor character in Worm that leads to Parian triggering. He gets the Celestial Forge when he would have triggered and starts to change the landscape of Brockton Bay. It has over 200 chapters and is very interesting. The only downside is that it is very slow paced. It’s maybe been 3 weeks from the start of the fic story time. This is mostly because he keeps getting powers and has to either change things or describe how the new powers make him feel. It’s worth reading, but only if you can deal with the pace.
I also finished Lone Traveler: Cockups and Snorcacks and then Further Adventures of the Lone Traveler. So, I moved onto the next one in the series, Harry Potter, Lone Traveler, God and Wizard by dunnelos. Yes, at the end of Further, Harry becomes a God by assisting Big G in getting access to a world that had cut him off. This one follows the Lone Traveler as he gets used to being a God.
This one has some side stories as well and the first one is Lone Traveler: Professor of Defense. Harry ends up in his parents’ time and is led to become the Defense professor in their 5th year. He decides to make the school the best he can and help all those he can. It’s fun and complete. I did finish this one, so it’s back to the original.
Finally, I finished The Finding and did a roll for Harry Potter fics. It ended up with Inheritance by megamatt09 (who seems to have deleted all of his fics because of AI affecting fanfiction. You can find most of his fics if you search for them). This one is set after Harry’s 4th year and Lily is brought back through unexplained ways (sort of). *Content Warning* This one like all of his fics has lots of sex. Specifically, this one has incest (Harry/Lily and Harry with sisters or mothers and daughters) and Harry with multiple girls (all adults this time). Don’t Like, Don’t Read! *Content Warning*. With that being said, it’s honestly kinda boring after you take out all of that. Harry and his girls plan and take down their enemies and live happily ever after. It’s complete with 16 chapters.
So, onto the quest (which I’ve temporarily halted right now, luckily I’m very far ahead of where I am on here); first is Harry Potter and the Old Friend by Sinyk. This one is Harry Potter AU where Thanatos temporarily takes over Harry’s body before he gets his Hogwarts letter and does some things to make the world a better place. It’s complete with 9 chapters.
Second is Harry Potter and the Power of Emotion by Melindaleo. This one I mentioned a few posts ago as the prelude to the fic mentioned there. It’s completed and is a Harry/Ginny fic.
Third is Harry Potter and the Prophecy Fulfilled by Breanie. This is another HP AU but set after 6th year. Harry decides on the train back that breaking up with Ginny was a stupid idea and they get back together. They then work with friends to deal with Voldie and beyond. It’s complete with 55 chapters.
Fourth is Harry Potter and the Prophesized Six by benperez31. However, we will first do the eleventh – Harry Potter and the Twists of Fate as it’s the first in the series. In this one, Lily and James survive and they even have a daughter around when they go into hiding. Follow this new Harry and his friends as they have slight different adventures. This one is complete with 60 chapters.
Back to the Prophesized Six; this is the sequel and they have to deal with a new prophesy. It names 6 more people that will help Harry defeat Voldie. Most are obvious, however one is debated. Will they chose the right one? Most likely; however this one is not finished. It has 65 chapters and it seems close to the end, but it was last updated in 2012.
Fifth is Harry Potter and the SG1 Adventure by Phantom1s. This one is a crossover between Stargate SG1 and Harry Potter. The founders were ancients and wizards are their descendants. They return to help Harry and get the wizarding world connected to SG1 around the time Jack comes back. It’s completed with 17 chapters and has a sequel.
Sixth is Harry Potter and the Sphinx Club by DasChillyOne. This one changes from practically the beginning as Harry meets Hermione before they get on the train. This leads to him becoming a Ravenclaw and creating the Sphinx Club to help study. This is a Harem Harry, so if you don’t like don’t read. It’s rated M, but don’t know why as I haven’t finished it. However, it is completed with 82 chapters.
Seventh is Harry Potter and Spiritus Crystalus by Bobmin356. This is the sequel to Harry Potter and Dumbledore’s Army. This one tells the seventh year for Harry and his friends and their fight against Voldie. It has a good Snape (who’s even married) and can get a bit dark. It’s a good read and is completed with 16 chapters.
Eighth is Harry Potter and the Star Class by Night Raydes. This author has had many different names, but this is their current one. This is a slight Harry Potter and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha crossover. Harry and Ginny break free from the control that Dumbles and his lackies during the fight in the Department of Mysteries. They find control devices and end up escaping to the future. There they meet the TSAB and train to take back their past. It’s incomplete and only has 5 chapters (and I remember a slightly different direction previously) it was last updated in 2022.
Ninth is Harry Potter and the Stargate by Sinyk. This is a crossover between Stargate SG1 and Harry Potter, but it’s only up to a certain point. Harry takes Sirius’ place in going through the veil of death, but it’s really a Stargate and as he’s thinking of Sirius as he goes through and ends up in that star system. He’s eventually rescued by SG1 years later and returns to England. However, both he and they are not the same. This is a Harry/Luna fic. It’s complete with 24 chapters.
Tenth is Harry Potter and the Strength of Good Ties by S.A.chic4HG. The summer after third year Harry learns that Dumbles is trying to control him. He gets closer to Ginny. It goes through the summer after fourth year and is incomplete with 17 chapters.
As we already did the eleventh, twelfth is Harry Potter and the Veil of Death by Artist 11. This one has Harry’s memories being sent back to the end his fifth year after he’s hit with the killing cruse in book 7. He takes Sirius’ place in going through the Veil of Death, but his parents help him get out. Hiding he’s alive, he secretly begins to take out the Horcruxes waiting to sacrifice himself at the end again. It’s complete with 23 chapters.
Thirteen and last is Harry Potter and the Witch’s Secret by Selector. I’ve talked about this one before, it’s a Harry/Harem series. *Content Warning* Reminder, this one has lots of sex in it and some of them are underageish. Don’t like, don’t read. *Content Warning* It’s complete with 2 sequels.
