Setbacks Can Affect More Than Just Your Mood

Hello, readers! Sorry this is a week late.  I’ll talk more about why a bit later. I’m back home and it was a fun trip. I did go there for a small church thing, that went well. I saw some old friends and met new people. I also hung out with my friend and we visited a few places in the area. Overall, it was a nice relaxing trip. Both of my flights on Thursday even landed early (which was good as I might not have made my connection otherwise).

While I was on my trip, I got notified that the interview for the position I applied (within the company) for would be on the coming Monday. I prep for that and because I had a few things to do, I planned to write last week’s post on Monday. However, I got notified before I even left that I didn’t get the position, not even 2 hours after my interview. This got me a bit depressed, even if I didn’t expect to get it after some mistakes in the interview.

I’m just a bit tired that I’ve worked for the company for over 5 years (including when I was a temp) and I’ve only had a slight pay increase (after the state/city pay increases). I mentioned wanting to prove I had company loyalty in staying 5 years to a friend and he said that no one cares about that anymore. I’ll have to really think about what I want to do.

Anyway, the rest of the week was busy and the coming weeks will probably be on and off. I did the Pokémon Go Community Day and got all three shinnies to have a complete set. Forgot to evolve them yesterday, but whatever.

So for reading changes, most of them are changed. Starting off is that I finished off She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 2 and then listened to Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life Vol 3 (unfortunately it’s not connected correctly to the first 2 on Audible). In this one, two of the Crimson Vow have their history come back to haunt them, and surprisingly one of the Isn’t Mile. Mavis’ noble family want her back and Pauline’s adopted father wants her back for nefarious purposes. Will they be able to deal with both them and stay as a team? And what’s this about a wyvern?

I also finished that one and continued onto The Saga of Tanya the Evil Vol 3. In this one, Tanya is involved in an outrageous attack to try and put an end to the war on the Rhine Front. Can she and her team do what they need to do and deal with the consequences? And even if they do, will the rest of the world allow them to be the victors? Find out in this volume!

I also finished A Place in My Dreams and moved onto another fanfic from Seerking, Swordsaint. It’s a SAO AU that I first mentioned here. It follows an OC who goes by the game handle Joan. She’s also a beta tester and programmer and has a great hatred for Kiyaba. She’s one of Kirito’s best friends and has no romantic interest in him. It currently has 29 chapters and they’ve escaped SAO. However, even though it’s the next in the schedule for the author, like I’ve mentioned before, they haven’t posted at all this year.

Next, I finished Game On! and moved onto the next one Game On! 2.0 by nordiamus. I’ve mentioned this one recently, but it follows growing god, Harriet Potter to her next life helping in the Fullmetal Alchemist universe as the youngest Elrich. Will a certain person from her last life find her and remember who he was?

Also finished was Muggleborn Teacher and I moved onto Harry Potter: The Lone Traveler by The Professional. As mentioned previously here, this is an AU where Harry is alone after the war and tries to go back, but it goes wrong. He ends up being sent to places in time to help deal with an issue before going to the next place. One of the stories is expanded into its own story, so I have include it as I’m on the that one before coming back to this one.

It’s called The Story of the Guys by The Professional. In the original section, there’s a small intro chapter before the Lone Traveler shows up. However in this the story has at least 7 chapters before he shows up. In this universe, Harry is the in the trope of the Wrong Boy Who Lived and they think that his brother Michael is the BWL. He is neglected by his parents and siblings and ends up in Slytherin. There he gets along with several other outcasts that becomes The Guys. Follow them and their eventual meet up with The Lone Traveler.

Star gazing is finished and I started listening to Legion by NeverTooOld. This is a Worm AU that I first mentioned here. Things change when Taylor is left for days in the locker and comes out maimed. Withdrawing from school, she moves on with her life until the heroes come asking about bullying and powers because their pet killer claims she was attacked. Taylor triggers again, expanding her powers, and Amy has to spend four days healing her. They bond and start a friendship then a relationship (that might be pushed on by their powers). I wish I knew how this story ends, but it hasn’t updated since 2017 and based on the health issues the author had I don’t think they’re with us anymore. There’s still a great 24 chapters to read though!

Finally, I also finished Pokemon: Shadow of Time – Kanto Arc. As I don’t remember much of the next one in the series, I moved onto an oldie but goodie, Ashes of the Past by Saphroneth. It was one of the first fanfics I mentioned on the sites, here. This is another Ash time travel story, but nicer. Cyrus comes back at the end of Unova and resets the universe. Arceus saves Ash and Sir Aaron trains him in aura. They send him to the start of his journey and he’s able to remind his team and friends (though Arceus, Aaron and the Space and Time Dragons are in a time bubble and are a continuing amusing side story). It’s currently got 305 chapters and they’re at the end of Sinnoh. Sadly, while the author is still writing fanfics, they haven’t updated this one since a update of the first 42 chaps in 2023. Still worth a read!

At last, we move onto the quest; first is God Slaying Blade Works by Marcus Galen Sands. This is a Fate/Heaven’s Feel True Ending and Campione! Crossover that I first mentioned here. In the True Ending, Shirou doesn’t come back and in this fic, he, Illya and Angra Mayu are transported to the Campione world. There Shirou kills Angra Mayu and becomes the eighth Campione. They try to get back to their world, while figuring out their new powers. They crash the main story after the Voban fight and Shirou tries his best to act kingly, which is very amusing. It currently has 47 chapters and was unfortunately last updated in 2021 because they are working on their original novel, which I just found, that can be found here.

Second is Going on a Unicorn Hunt by sbmcneil. This is a cute little one-shot about Ginny, Bill and Harry. The summer before his third year, Harry runs into the siblings going to get a wand made for Ginny. We then learn of how she got the unicorn hair when she was young.

Third is Golden King of Zero by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Familiar of Zero and Fate series crossover that I first mentioned here. Louise summons Kid Gilgamesh instead of Saito. This changes things and it turns out a grail war is happening now. It only has 10 chapters and is an okay read. It was last updated in 2016.

Fourth is Golden Queen by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover I first mentioned here. Fem Harry (Kaede) ran away from a deal to sell her in Fuyuki after the 4th war and accidently summons a part of Gilgamesh. He saves her and becomes a kid to be closer to his summoner. It’s an interesting little 16 chapters, but it was last updated in 2014.

Fifth is Gorgon by sakurademonalchemist. This is another Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night (UBW) crossover that I first mentioned here. Illya ends up in Diagon Alley after she’s killed and finds she’s in the past. She goes to Hogwarts to make Harry’s life better. It’s amusing but sadly only has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2015.

Sixth is taken by a prequel, but it’s actually the third in the series. Lights Will Guide You Home (And I Promise I Will Burn For You) by by rayrae118 is the sequel to It’s OK Not to Be OK (But I Promise, I’m Trying) and Every Tear Fall Down for a Reason (But I Promise I Won’t Cry for You). This fic covers Harry and Ginny’s sixth year. How will butterfly effect continue to influence this year? Will Dumbles still die? This is completed with 22 chapters.

Seventh is the actual sixth, the final fic in the series, Got One Hundred Steps to Go (Tonight I’ll Make It Ninety Nine) by rayrae118. Harry and his group work together to make Voldy mortal again in a massively changed war. Will everyone make it out alive in this fic? Read to find out. It’s complete with 24 chapters.

Eighth and last is Gothic by Brennus. This one is a Harry Potter AU where Harry was raised by Sirius and is a bit darker than normal versions. Ginny never met Harry at school, and he finds her being blackmailed by Draco Malfoy sometime after the end of school. He convinces her to work for him to find the pieces of a precious jewel. They go on an adventure and may find out more about themselves. It’s darker then you think and complete with 9 chapters.

Traveling Weekend (2026)

Hello, friends! It’s an odd weekend for me as I’m in the middle of a trip to visit the friend who recently came to visit me. I’ll talk more about it next week as I just got in late last night (or early in the morning). It was a normal week, and I finally finished with that extra job I had to do and my workdays will go back normal.

Honestly my trip yesterday was more interesting. Both of my flights left late, and it made things … fun. My first one didn’t have enough fuel, and we had to wait for it to be filled up. I barely made my second one because I wanted stop for dinner (to go of course) and they lost my order. I had to ask about it to get it. Then, after I got on, we were told that we couldn’t leave because of weather. We finally left almost an hour later, and I got here almost at midnight. Luckly, my friend was willing to pick me up. Like I mentioned I’ll talk about the trip next week.

Next is my listening list changes; I finished I am [Redacted] and started Sword of the Hero by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a My Hero Academia and Sword Art Online crossover. Bakugo and Izuku get stuck in SAO and Izuku joins Asuna and Kirito on the first boss fight. Izuku changes things and gets them out before they normally would. Also, Bakugo is very much not a nice person in this. It gets them out, but they haven’t gotten much past saving Asuna. It has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2020.

I finished that in one listening and moved onto A Place in My Dreams by Seerking. It another SAO crossover, but this time with Campione. I first mentioned this early in the quest here, almost a year ago. It’s set after the Campione story is finished and Godou is off searching for the other Campione. Kayaba is fused with a group three Gods of Dreams and when Kirito defeats him to defeat the game (which goes slightly differently), he becomes the first new Campione (and Kayaba stops the players from being stolen and exposes that one for trying it). The History Compilation Committee tries it’s normal activities to prove he’s a Campione and it doesn’t help. Also, some of those in the Game are magical and come to Kirito for help. It sadly only has 7 chapters still and was updated in 2025. The author still hasn’t started posting again, but I verified one of the stories he favorited started in March of this year, so he’s still around. No idea why he’s not posting, but I hope he’s okay.

I also finished The Reincarnator’s Tavern, including the newest chapters, and started Sunshine by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Harry Potter and KHR crossover that I first mentioned here. Renato becomes young Fem. Harry (Iris) penpal for primary school and they keep in touch. She talks to him all through her years at Hogwarts until 5th year. She asks how best to kill the toad with a butter knife and eventually does it. She escapes and meets up with him, becoming his Sky long before the selection. She changes things and he’s not technically cursed. It’s fun but only has 8 chapters and last updated in 2017.

After I finished that I moved onto Game On! by nordiamus. It’s a mutlicross (starting with just Harry Potter and KHR) that I first mentioned three weeks ago here. Fem. Harry (Harriet) dies when the war restarts years later and is told she’s becoming a God. To help with the process and learn/earn her attributes (and save her mother) she reincarnates to help heroes who would win without her to help make things better (and more interesting). She is first reincarnated as Tsuna’s sister and has a Gamer power from Chaos (the concept God). It’s fun and I’ll move on to the next one when I finish.

The Accidental Bond was finished as well and I started Muggleborn Teacher by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter AU that I first mentioned here. Keith (an AU character) is a muggleborn who left the wizarding world and eventually became an elementary school teacher. He becomes Harry teacher when he starts school and quickly realizes who he is and works to help with his home life. He essentially raises Harry and helps him to realize that the Wizarding World needs to change. It doesn’t get far after Harry goes to Hogwarts, but it’s got 24 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2018.

Finally, I finished Constellations and moved onto its sort of continuation Star gazing by  Selector. After Chapter 47, this splits off and things change. New Wave becomes more involved and Taylor (who didn’t have a love interest in the original) starts going out with Amy. It’s only 5 chapters, but it’s worth a read if you’ve read the original. It hasn’t been updated since 2020.

Now it’s time for the quest! The first ones are odd and the only reason I have them here is because of the author. However, I Must mention and all these are M for a reason! [Content Warning!] This has sex and some drugging and dubious consent involved. No rape, but it becomes close and there’s revenge. [Content Warning!] The actually next one is after a one-shot, so the first one I’ll mention is Hermione’s Obsession by Epeefencer. Hermione is a nymphomaniac and wants to have sex with Ginny (this is before H/G get together). However, she has no interest and talks to Harry about her worry about Hermione. Hermione eventually potions Ginny, but Harry interferes and the two have sex, to Hermione’s frustration.

The actual first is Ginny’s Revenge by Epeefencer. Harry and Ginny have more sex and plan to make Hermione their sex slave (for a certain amount of time).  Second is its sequel Ginny’s Revenge: Part 2 by Epeefencer. More sex slave play, basically. There’s a fourth one for after school, but it’ll be mentioned later.

Third (prequel) is Obsession by KryallaOrchid. It’s a Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir AU where their Miraculous affect them more than in the original series. Marinette is more susceptible to cold and Adrien likes to be scratched. Chat ends up at Marinette’s place, and she scratches him and they become friends and more. It’s the normal love four square for this series. It focuses on them dealing with their feelings and finding out identities. It has 11 chapters and is completed

The real Third is Glaze by KryallaOrchid. This one gets into the winter, and Ladybug is increasing becoming affected and slows down. Chat has to deal with the akuma while dealing with an out of commission Ladybug. How will things go? It’s complete with 21 chapters and there is another sequel to finish the series.

Fourth is Go Away I’m Watching Porn by Third Fang. I’ve mentioned this one multiple times, but the first was here. This is a Highschool DxD AU, where Ghost (a OC by the same author) ends up in Issei’s soul with Draig early in his life (after chasing a whisper of a ‘Oppai Dragon’). This causes him to train earlier and harder, this does not make things better and he gets burned (aka has bad things done to him). By the time of the original story start he’s a shut-in and has to be forced to school. Most of the current story is him getting out and (us and the other characters) finding out what happened to him, along with training. It currently has 30 chapters and was updated in February. (There is little to no actual sex in this, mostly just porn trivia).

Fifth and last is Goblet of Fire by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Harry Potter AU where Harry goes on a trip before fourth year and meets a girl at a summer school who he gets together with a girl from America named Gem (yes in that way but only mentioned not explicit). This helps him look at things a different way and deal with his fourth year and the tournament in a way others at Hogwarts might not like. It’s complete with three chapters.

Reorganizing Can Make You Late

Hello, everyone. Sorry for missing last week’s post. I was busy rearranging my books and other items during the long weekend. Then I tried to donate blood, but there were issues that meant I wasn’t able to actually donate (to do with situational issues not anything new) and had to wait for another two months. I gave up at that point and decided to do a double update this week.

As for work, it’s been the same. I applied to a slightly off the mark (for me) position and haven’t heard back if I even actually qualify. We’ve also started doing the summer work and it’s causing space issues. There was even a meeting on Friday that went late, so I get to leave early tomorrow!

I’m also on the last four Alpha Pokémon in Legends Arceus (the four fossils) after that it’s just GMax female Venosaur and I’ll have all the extended Living Dex (that I made up myself). That means all the forms, gender differences, GMax and Alphas (plus the hat Pikachu that can be on Home) [Along with both genders of the last two with gender differences]. I also did get the regular Switch version of Legends Z-A and did the trade Alpha evolutions of Pumpkaboo (all Sizes) and Feebas (Male and female). All that’s left is to continue working to get all of them to level 100. They’re all at least level 35 and most are level 50. Some are 100, but it’s a matter of stages; 20, 35, 50, 70, 90 and then 100. Oh, and I just posted the fourth chapter of my fic, Theurgy Thru Replevy. Please check it out with the link on My Fanfics.

Anyway, it’s time for the listening changes. I finished Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life Vol 2 and listened to Youjo Senki Vol 2. In this one, Tanya gets to take her newly formed battalion and go to three fronts of the war! She follows her orders, complaining in her head the entire time about them and her troops being battle happy. However, everyone else sees her as the battle happy one. Follow her on a trip of misunderstandings and war.

I just finished that one and started on She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man Vol 2. I haven’t gotten far in this one (like 5 minutes), but I’m fairly sure this one is more about Mira trying to find the other 7 sages. She’ll go to a dungeon to try and get some more information about one of them. Will she find one or more? I guess we’ll find out.

I also finished Parenting is not a Varia Quality part of the story and so that slot will just be Black Sky for now. Then I finished Back to the Beginning and decided to listen to I am [Redacted] by Titus621. It’s an MHA fic where Izuku didn’t got to UA but went to America to study with All Might instead (and it’s implied that AFO and his group followed him there). It’s set three years after the 1-A graduated and Nimbus or Redacted is the number 1 hero. He’s called Redacted because his identity is hidden to protect his family and all the line says is Redacted. In reality, it’s Izuku and he starts to get close to Ochaco when her new agency is near the restaurant his parents own. Watch their relationship grow and Izuku realize that maybe he’s going about things the wrong way. It’s completed with 22 chapters!

I got a point in A Darker Path that I don’t remember, so I stopped listening and changed it to Constellations by UnwelcomeStorm. It’s a Worm and Okami crossover that I first mentioned here. Taylor meets Amaterasu in her Great Wolf form when she’s young and gets lost at camp. She pops up again after Taylor’s mom dies and continues to come and cheer her up and encourage her to draw. When her flute is damaged, Sunny (what Taylor calls her) fixes it. This eventually leads to her becoming the Miko of a falling apart shrine. She fixes it up and even makes Oni Lee less of a monster. Danny’s a cape in this one as well. It still only has 54 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2021.

Finally, I also finished The Road Not Taken and decided to listen to Pokemon: Shadow of Time – Kanto Arc by Ron the True Fan. This is another Pokémon time travel fic, but darker. Cyrus taking control of Palkia and Dialga eventually leads to them destroying the world while Ash is in Alola. Celebi sends Ash back with a copy of his Pokémon’s memories in his head to stop Cyrus from controlling them in the first place. However, the world he wakes up in the start of his journey is very different. Shadow Pokémon roam the land and guns are normal. Watch an angry Ash do what he can to fix things while finding his Pokémon, or they find him. It’s an Ash/multi and has several fics, this is just the first.

Well, time for the quest; first is Gamer of the Sword by fg7dragon. This is a Fate/Stay Night SI with Gamer powers that I first mentioned here. Shirou is taken over by someone who knows the series and is given The Gamer power soon after Kiritsugu dies. He decides to train and make changes to help himself and those he likes. His main partner is Sakura, but he has a harem. It has 15 chapters and is completed with a set up for another fic. Sadly, the author hasn’t posted since 2018, but they are still around because they favorited a fic that was only published in March.

Second is an odd one. It was originally Gate to the elven god, Tanya’s republic but the author completely rewrote in and renamed it to Gate to the Tanyan Republics by ShirouKuroEmiya. It’s a Youjo Senki and Gate: Thus the JDF Fought There crossover where Tanya is a god on the other side of the Gate. After she dies after a long and happy life, but her spirit wanders and ends up on the Gate world. 100 years later, she’s a god. In the original she was the God of the Elves that the team finds (who don’t die) and she doesn’t meet them until they get to the village. The rewrite, she and a team infiltrate the team sent to Japan originally and help them stop the attack. They both only had 3 chapters and the reboot was last updated in 2024. Honestly, this author isn’t my favorite and it’s only on here because I thought the original was an interesting idea.

Third is General Zod by TheBeardedOne. This is a prequel to another of this author’s main fics but this is just in the DC Comics. This tells the story of how Zod’s story goes in this fic, which is a bit different then cannon. I won’t say much more to not spoil it. It’s completed but the characters don’t interact with the main story it’s in until the fic.

Fourth is also odd as the reason it’s here is because I call it German fic, but it’s really Aufstand Gegen Danzou by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Naruto one-shot and it’s translation is Uprising Against Danzou. I put it through a translator to read it, but essentially, Naruto is imprisoned and his friends rise up against Danzou. It’s interesting, but I wish there was an official translation.

Fifth is Ginny Returns by kb0. This is a Harry Potter fic that really like and mentioned first here. The war is over and only Ginny and a disabled Hermione are left. Ginny refuses to leave things as they are and finds a way back in time. Hermione helps her (at the cost of her life) and Ginny goes back to the summer before her first year. She makes many changes and Harry and Sirius are the only ones who finds out she’s from an alternate future. It’s great and has a Harry who doesn’t just accept her because his past self did and works to find out who her really likes. It’s complete and worth the read.

Sixth is Ginny’s Decision by Epeefencer. This is a Harry Potter one-shot where things go differently when Harry goes to break up with Ginny. She doesn’t just accept it and pushes back with her own decision. It really only goes over the start of her influence, and the most important part, but it’s an interesting premise if anyone ever does something like it.

Seventh and the last today is Ginny’s Plan by kb0. This one is similar, but her plan is different. It’s Harry Potter and I’ve mentioned it before here. She convinces him to be smarter about it and that she’ll never take him back if he leaves. Her plan changes things and Dumbles is shattered. It has 13 chapters and it complete.

Changes are a Coming

Hello, everyone! I hope everyone had a great week. Mine was fine, I’m most likely going to have to start earlier for the next month or so because of a change at one of our locations that needs a morning delivery. I had hoped it would be overtime, but because it’s just about half an hour I’ll just be leaving earlier (and I also potentially have jury duty this coming week).

I did go and see the new Reincarnated as a Slime movie on Friday, and it was amusing. I honestly never thought I’d be rooting for Gobta in the romance department. I posted the third chapter of my fanfic Thursday and you can find the links in the My Fanfics at the top of the homepage.

My first listening change was that I finished Hero Academia DxD and decided to relisten to Back to the Beginning by Aliandris. It’s another MHA fic that I first mentioned in the quest here. It’s an Izuku/Ochaco fic where they both got OFA in different timelines. Things go wrong in Jaku City and they both die at the same time. 2nd has a time travel quirk and they both get sent back in the same timeline. Watch as they try and fic as much as they can. It still hasn’t been updated since 2024, but it has 92 chapters.

The second change was that I also finished Avatar Taylor and decided to relisten to The Reincarnator’s Tavern by GnomeBob. I’m actually surprised I don’t have this on the site considering I like listening to it, but who knows. This one is a bit complicated, so 100 people are reincarnated by an afterlife tavern and asked to play a game. They can chose one of two body types and roll six 6-sided dice (2 of each color to add together) to choose which what the power level each of the classes is (It’s more complicated, but the first chapter is an info dump). The ultimate game is played in the MCU, but the two body types are made up of other stories that you learn before the main story of the MCU starts. The first body type has the DBZ, HP and Naruto power systems and you have to learn them in the world during the story. The second body type has the HxH, One Piece and SW power systems. In each of them you’re the same age as the MC, but the players forget everything about all the worlds of the game.

The player we follow is Rayleigh Rush. He chooses SW as his main power and starts off there. He ends up on Tython and learn how to use his chosen main skill, Psychometry. Watch as he trains to become a swordsman, and helps mess up the stories he’s in. It has 83 chapters and he’s gone to the MCU to train with Hawkeye as a kid, HxH for most of its storyline, One Piece thru Ace’s death (though the players messed the conclusion to that) and has just returned to SW around the time of Episode 2. It’s fun and worth the read, sadly it was last updated at the end of last year.

Lastly, I reached the last chapter I remember reading from Tome of the Orange Sky (Though I’m now reading them to finish it as it is complete) and decided to change to Obscured By Clouds by Umei no Mai and InsaneScriptist. A warning before I describe this one, it’s locked to AO3 users only. This is a KHR fic, where almost a year after the ‘Cradle Affair’ (which I agree with several fics [including this one] is a stupid name), the cloud officer tries to kill off a civilian who disrespected him. However, she survives and kills him with Cloud flames, making her the new Cloud Officer. Other than being sad at her parents deaths during the incident, she acts like an adult and makes things better at the Varia. Including getting Xanxus out a lot earlier. It’s a good fic and is complete with 9 chapters.

So, onto the quest, first is Forgetting by sbmcneil. It’s a Harry Potter one-shot prequel to another one of this author’s fics. It’s the summer after The Chamber of Secrets and Ginny is not doing well. Both she and Harry are saying they need to see each other, but the adults around them are scared of what’s happening. Dumbledore convinces the Weasleys to obliviate her of her first year and does the same to Harry. Afterwards, the two meet up in a dream and Ginny is sent to Beauxbatons on Harry’s dime. It’s all set up and a mess of bad choices and mostly unnecessary as most is explained in the main fic.

Second is one I’ve talked about listening to before: Forging Destiny by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter fic I first mentioned here. Harry meets Sirius before he goes to London and decides to stay with him. Sirius takes him to Grimwald Place and helps him to take control of his life. Sirius also gets a new identity and sets things up to bring down Dumbles influence. It’s complete with 38 chapters and a sequel.

Third is Forgotten Angel by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Harry Potter, Supernatural and Consantine crossover that I first mentioned during the last quest, here. Harry is projected to die at birth, so the angels send Castiel to make sure Voldie dies. However, his memories are scrambled by the killing curse so he lives a Harry. He becomes Cas Shields and is John Constantine’s little brother. Hogwarts won’t know what’ll hit them. It’s incomplete with 12 chapters and was last updated in 2015.

Fourth is Forgotten Famigilia by sakurademonalchemist. This one is a Harry Potter and KHR fic that I also mentioned in the last quest, here. Harry learns his has family before third year and contacts his Great-Aunt Daniela Vongola. Learning about his situation, she takes over his guardianship after the Sirius mess. She decides to send Xanxus to Hogwarts with him to make sure Harry should stay there. It has 20 chapters and was last updated in 2017.

Fifth and last is Formed From Clay by sakurademonalchemist. This is one is a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover I having mentioned yet as it came out after the quest. When Lily has trouble conceiving (because James’s seed was damaged), she uses a ritual and her child is an incarnation of Enkido. Fem Harry (Rhea) eventually finds this out and leaves the wizarding world behind. She ends up in Fuyuki for the 4th grail war and meets a certain ancient king. It’s fun, but only has 7 chapters and was last updated in 2020.

Progress!!!

Hello, readers. Another week has passed and on Friday I finally did something I’ve been trying to do for a long time… I finally got the last Unown Alpha (?)! I’m ecstatic and am now working on getting the different gender alphas I don’t have before I work on the fossils and Rowlet line in the space time rifts. I may get all the alphas I’m missing before long, yay!

Works been work. I have a training on Monday, but it’s just a normal renewal thing so I’m not worried. We have to work on rearranging stock to make way for actual desks for some co-workers (mostly because one of them wants an actual desk and the other two don’t care as they work out and about). We also have a location closing and my team has to help pack and move everything starting this week.

The first change to my listening list is that I finished Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! Vol 1 and decided to relisten to The Saga of Tanya the Evil Vol 1. This is because I know the 2nd season is coming out and I’ve never actually gotten past vol 3 even though I have all 14 books in person. The Salaryman dies and is reincarnated in an alternate world as a young girl. There through mostly his own misunderstandings is forced into more perilous situations (with some nudging from the heavenly side). It’s an interesting story and I’ve been wanting to read it through for a while.

The only other change is that I finished Hybird Hive – Eat Shard and it’s ‘sequels’. It’s not really sequels, just other Taylors that were accidentally created and where they ended up. One ends up in the MCU when Loki opens the portal in Avengers 1. The other one ends up in a canon Worm before that Taylor goes out. The last one is a what if Taylor found Star Wars in her universe before Alderaan was destroyed.

I replaced it with A Darker Path by ack1308. It’s a Worm AU that I’ve mentioned before in the list here. Taylor triggers with The Path to Ending instead of Queen Administrator. It allows her to kill whatever she wants with steps like Contessa. She takes is and runs with is like the Queen of Escalation that she is. It’s complete and a fun read.

Now, to the quest; first is Fluffy Firsts: Tales of H&G’s first kiss by MrIntel. This one is a set of 8 one-shots on how Harry and Ginny could get together/have their first kiss. They mostly fluffy, but some have angst as well. It’s worth the read!

Second is Follow the Phoenix by Rachelme177. I’ve mentioned this one earlier here because its sequel was in the As. Albus makes better decisions after the end of 5th year and takes Harry in. Ginny is his support and they get together earlier in the year. It’s complete (obviously as it has a sequel).

Third is For The Honor Of The Regiment by mp3.1415player. It’s a Worm and BOLO series crossover that I first mentioned here. A BOLO tank (AI driven) is sent to places unknown and ends up taking over Queen Administrator. It activates the connection early and trains Taylor early as it’s operator. The Story goes back and forth between past and present. Sadly incomplete with 25 chapters.

Fourth is For Want of an Outfit by CmptrWz. This is one of my favorites and is a Harry Potter AU with slight crossover with several stories including Kingdom Hearts. I actually just realized I’ve never mentioned it on here because I haven’t listened to it recently. The Dursley’s force Harry to dress like a girl when a trunk of Lily’s old clothes is dropped on their doorstep one day when he’s young. He gets used to it, but it forces them to realize how badly their treating him. By then he’s used to it and decides to do it to be close to his mother. He discovers magic early and many things are different. It’s incomplete but has 271 chapters (and I’m fairly sure the reason it’s not being updated is that the author is planning the next part out and writing it).

Fifth is Force of Souls by Kairomaru. It’s a Bleach AU where the main change I can remember at first is that Ichigo is with Orihime and Tatsuki before Rukia shows up and Ichigo is less restrained in his interest in girls. The girls also become soul reapers and that’s just one of the changes. It’s worth reading and has 36 chapters and was updated in Feb.

Sixth and final is Forever Red by LilyannaSpiritOfTheCheetah. I’ve also mentioned this one before here as it’s the 2nd sequel oneshot to The Winged Lord and Lady of the Skies about the Power Rangers. It’s the in-fic version of the crossover from the series of the same name. The main differences are that the teams are closer in general, there are more concrete relationships and Kira (Tommy and Kim’s daughter) is involved.

I’ve Been Distracted By Another Long Fic Again

Hello everyone! It’s been a busy week of lots of driving and I’m looking forward to my supervisor being off next week. There’s not much coming up but I’m currently working on clearing out my photos as I have almost 43 GBs of them on my phone. It’s mostly screen shots of manga names or pics to identify them later, so I’m adding them to my manga to read app.

Anyway, I’ve just today started to get back into the listening schedule, but I’ve made a few changes (to the current listening list, not how it works). First, my replacement for the fourth block is Avatar Taylor by Dalxein. It’s a Worm and Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover that I’ve mentioned on the current quest, here. When Aang almost dies at the end of Season 2, Raava gathers the energy for a new Avatar. However, when he lives, she just lets it go and dissipate on its own. The Queen Administrator shard finds and absorbs it. It changes how it plans to go about connecting to Taylor and her powers. Now Taylor has the Avatar powers and is changing people and powers. It has 54 chapters, but sadly it hasn’t updated since late 2024.

I’m also finished Baccano! Vol 3 and plan to listen to the newest volume of Reborn as a Space Mercenary, vol 14. I haven’t started listening to it yet, but I’m fairly sure this one is when they go to one of the Dwarf twin’s hometown spaceports to deal with an epidemic. It’s sure to be different from the webnovel, so I’m looking forward to it.

Finally, I was tired of The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, so I’m changing it to a new fic that I’m still in the process of reading (and that the title is referencing). It’s called A Nascent Kaleidoscope by AStoryForOne. It’s a multi-crossover that starts off with Fate series and High School DxD, then quickly goes into The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It’s about a semi-reborn Zelretch who’s reborn as Sirzetch’s bastard Half Devil son with barely any devil energy. When he awakens his memories, he realizes that he’s barely living and decides to so to another timeline. However, not before stealing the Boosted Gear from Issei and blowing up a bomb in Sona’s face for how she treated him. It has 676 chapters currently and it was updated last week. It’s definitely worth a read, however if you don’t know a series, you may be a bit confused. He goes to many of the Fate series, RWBY, Bleach, Harry Potter, and Campione to start. There’s a very amusing Bleach omake around chap 400 that made me burst out laughing and I still smile whenever I think about it.

And now, onto the quest, first is First Crisis by TheBeardedOne. This is a sequel to Dark Knights and a crossover with The Institute Saga series (that I’ll get into later). DK Superman (raised as Bruce’s brother) accidentally gets transported to THS world and they work to get him back. It’s complete with six chapters.

Second is First Kiss by seritha. It’s a Harry Potter one-shot set in fifth year. Harry and Ginny both are hoping for their first kiss soon with Cho and Michael. However, when Ginny says she would rather have her first kiss to be with Harry, he decides to grant her wish.

Third is Fixing Messes by Phantom1s. This one is a Harry Potter time travel story. At the end of Harry’s life, he and Hermione plan to use his magic to turn back time to right the wrongs of the war and past it. It’s a Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Ron fic. It’s completed and an interesting read.

Fourth is Flameheart by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a KHR and MHA crossover that I first talked about here. Tsuna is considered quirkless, but it was really sealed by his father. He’s living the best he can until he finds out that All Might is his grandfather. Watch as he takes Yuuei by storm, or as much as you can with only 8 chapters. Izuku still gets One-For-All in this fic that hasn’t been updated since 2019.

Fifth and final is Flames by Fencer22. This is a Worm fic with KHR powers that I mentioned before here. Taylor triggers with Dying Will Flames (Not Sky) and decides to just give up on Earth Bet. She lets you know why she thinks it’s dying and wants to escape with as much as she can. It’s completed with 23 chapters.

Happy Easter 2026

Hello, readers! Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. It’s been another quiet week for me. Work’s slow, but this coming week is busy with trips. I did finish the work on getting my text to speech back to working order.

I’ve not really been following the schedule for either my reading list quest or listening cycle and will probably need to get back into it. However, I have listened to a few things and completed some, so here we go!

I completed Go Away I’m Watching Porn, by reading the last 10 or so chapters. Mostly because I’ve maybe read that once and it’s also really emotional. I also listened to and finished Exodus by Zaru. It’s the Worm and Big Hero 6 fic I mentioned in the quest recently and first mentioned here. It’s an interesting little fic that’s essentially a sequel of sorts for both.

I also finished the 3-part fic Secret Love by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter fic that I first mentioned here. Harry and Ginny get together in his Fifth year after Christmas, but don’t tell anyone. The main story starts at the end of sixth year, and they decide to fake a breakup to keep her safe. It’s a great fic and worth a read. There were others, but none are really a replacement for the fourth block and I hope to get back into the schedules.

And now, onto the quest, first is Fifteen Ways to Make You Prince RememberYouExist! By SailorLeia. This one is a Sailor Moon R AU where Serena (the English Dub name for Usagi) tries her best to make Darian remember what they had before the end of season 1. It’s wacky and weird at times, but a fun completed fic with 23 chapters.

Second is Fillies and Colt by sakurademonalchemist. This is a KHR and Harry Potter crossover that I first mentioned here. Lily marries into the Chaivarone and is Dino’s mother. She is lured back to because of the war and James causes her to forget her life in Italy to marry her. After Dino takes over, he goes to find out what happen to her and finds Melody (Fem. Harry), his half-sister. He’s taking her home, come hell or high water. It’s got 9 chapters and was last updated in 2018.

Third is Finding Answers by sbmcneil. It’s a Harry Potter one-shot where Harry goes after some Death Eaters who escaped. Hannah Abbott mentions that they never found the killer. When Harry and others look into, they find that some DEs escaped because they weren’t well known. Follow him as they look into it. An interesting little fic.

Fourth is Finding the Way by ack1308. This one is a Worm fic where Taylor and Danny both trigger on the day of the locker. Danny can teleport and Taylor can find things and people. Both join the Protectorate and Wards, but don’t always agree with how things are done. It’s complete and has an alternate version that’s more than a bit NSFW and has incest (If you can find it).

Fifth and last is Fire and Rain by rayrae118. It’s a X-Men: First Class AU that I’ve mentioned before here. It’s one where they go for a different mutant other than Darwin. They instead find Jamie in a horrible situation. She helps things for the better. It’s complete with 13 chapters and has a semi-sequel.

Lateness Happens – No Really

Hello, readers. Sorry this is late, I got busy and didn’t have time to write yesterday. It was been a quiet week at work and I even donated blood recently! There’s not much to say for that, though I did play Pokopia. It’s interesting, but I haven’t had time to really do much with it. Still looking for a Beta reader, but am being proactive about it.

For the listening changes, I finished Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs Vol 2 and moved on to The Eminence in Shadow Vol 2. It follows Cid as he goes to see the Sacred Land for the Goddess’s Trail. Will he allow it to happen without interrupting it with his shadow games? Obviously not. However, things end up going weird and he meets and interesting person from the past. Also, what’s this about tournament? He’ll never let things be Mundane, except himself. Read and find out.

I also finished Free Life and chose Harry Potter and the Chance at a New Life by kossboss. It’s a Harry Potter and Stargate SG-1 crossover that mentioned before here. After the battle of the chamber, the horcrux in his scar is destroyed by the basilisk’s venom. Harry inherits Tom’s memories and decides that it isn’t worth staying in the wizarding world. After making sure Tom won’t come back after 4th year, he goes through the Veil of Death and ends up in the Quantum Mirror room. He takes over a Gould and makes his own territory, changing things. It’s worth a read, but author has lots of technical descriptions. It has 19 chapters and was last updated in 2024.

Finally, I finished off Issei – The Gaming Gear and moved to the oddly named Go Away I’m Watching Porn by Third Fang. It’s another High School DxD fic, but with an OC from YAWALEH, Ghost, that I’ve mentioned before here. I’ll start off by saying there’s no sex in the fic, but porn is a common subject. Issei is a pervert, but the story is derailed when Ghost goes to find the ‘Oppai (breast) Dragon’.  Instead, he finds himself stuck as a power in a young Issei’s hand (who would become said dragon). However, things go badly sometime before the main story and Issei becomes a shut-in. [Content Warning] There is a horrible situation that happens to him, that I’m not going to reveal as it’s a mystery for a while. He is traumatized by it and for good reason. [Content Warning] It’s currently got 30 chapters and was updated last month.

Now, for the quest, first is Faith by sbmcneil. This is a Harry Potter fic that some may not be comfortable with. [Content Warning] Harry is raped by Bellatrix after his 5th year. It’s not explicit, but there it is [Content Warning]. She gives birth to a daughter and sends her back to him. This is a story about trauma and overcoming it with Ginny’s help. It’s complete with 4 chapters.

Second is Falling Iron by Arthur Hansen. This is an Iron Man and Worm crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Tony ends up in the Worm Universe (before the beginning of the story) instead of New York after redirecting the nuke in Avengers. Taylor finds and helps him. Watch as she helps him get things together in this new world. It has 14 chapters and was last updated in 2017.

Third is Famiglia Drabbles by sakurademonalchemist. This is a drabbles story based on KHR (which has been confirmed for a complete reboot!) that I’ve talked about here. It has many crossovers. There are 175 chapters and some have been made into actual stories. It was last updated late last year.

Fourth is Familia Myth: Journey to Hero by Kairomaru. This is a Familia Myth (Danmachi) AU where Bell is older when he gets to Orario. He’s wiser and more willing to respond to the women’s advances. [Content Warning] There is sex in this one, but you can skip it and it won’t affect the story [Content Warning]. It’s an interesting fic that has 43 chapters and was updated earlier this month.

Fifth and last is Farming Life In Another World by Kinosuke Naito. Hiraku dies after a long sickness and asks to be able to farm in a new world, away from other people. He works to make his farm with the tool God gave him. Many people and creatures are surprised to find him there. Watch him become a power in this world, without meaning to. This is the web novel version, so things are probably different from the light novel. I read chapters 1-837 because that was all that was translated when I read it. It now has over 1000. It has an anime and the second season was announced.

My Fic is Up!

Hello, everyone. I’ve worked and finally gotten all the added links added where they should and have the current quest list up (in A-Z order [including later ones mentioned that are prequels]). I even have a favorite list that I’ll add to as I mention more of them in posts.

Things were fine at work, but it’s been really busy. I also finally posted the first chapter of my fic on the 28th as I promised my group I would. However, one of group got back to me Thursday with recommendations for the first chapter. I spent part of the weekend (including when I would normally work on this) to finish the editing and repost it. So! Here are the links to Theurgy Thru Replevy on FF.net and AO3. I hope people enjoy it, but I’m honestly doing this for me. I’d love to write my own stories, and this is helping me. Also, I really wanted to have a completed MHA/CCS crossover even if it takes me forever.

So, onto the listening changes, I finished The Eminence in Shadow Vol 1 and moved back to Baccano! Vol 2. This is one of my favorite ones from the anime, the story of what happened on the Flying Pussyfoot train at the end of 1931, or rather, half the story. There are three groups that have their own plans for the train. Throw in two silly thieves who don’t know anything, several independents doing their own thing and the mysterious ‘Rail Tracer’. How will things turn out?

Because I didn’t post last week, I also finished that one, so now I’m on Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs Vol 2. Leon is continuing at school after the duel. Everyone hates him because they lost tons of money on the betting. Now there’s a school festival and several people are plotting against him. Will he be able to deal with it? And will anything ever happen with Livia or Angie?

Next I finished Taking Control and went to its sequel Free Life also by fake a smile. I mentioned it here before. It takes place during the summer after 6th year. Harry has escaped Dumbledore’s control and is fighting the Death Eaters that go after his students. Will he be able to see Ginny? And will things be resolved with Dumbles? Some questions are answered, but not all as it only has 6 chapters and it was last updated in 2011.

I also finished A Body Roll or Two and decided to move onto Hero Academia DxD by DinoCam1234. This one is mainly an MHA and High School DxD crossover where Izuku takes Issei’s place as the Red Dragon Emperor. It’s set in MHA and Rias is in UA already. There’re also characters from Bungou Stray Dogs (that I haven’t read or watched yet) and other anime (like Code Geass) and some MHA characters take the place of DxD characters. Its 64 chapters long and was just updated at the end of last year!

Mauling Snarks was also finished and I read the Apocrypha of the fic Mauling Canon. It’s also written by CmptrWz. It takes a different version of chap 58 and MS Taylor ends up in Canon Worm the night Taylor goes out. Shenanigans ensue. The link is to the first chapter, and it has links to all 14 chapters at the bottom.

After that I decided to listen to Issei – The Gaming Gear by Seerking again. It’s a High School DxD and The Gamer crossover I first mentioned here. Issei and his family are attacked by a rouge agent of an unknown faction, the Purifiers, before he meets Raynare and awakens his Sacred Gear. However, he has two, Boosted Gear and the Gamers Gear (Gaia). They help him defeat the Purifier, but now he has to deal with the rest. An interesting way to introduce Issei to the supernatural world, no? It has 24 chapters and sadly, Seerking still hasn’t updated this year.

In Flight was finished and I chose Heart of the Soul by sakurademonalchemist next. It’s a KHR and Ghost Hunt crossover I first mentioned here. Mai (Fem. Tsuna) breaks the seal on her flames in the middle of a case. This allows ‘Naru’s’ brother ‘Yuu-chan’ to escape where he is to her house. Now how will flames affect the supernatural? It has 21 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2017.

I completed that one and listened to Hero Class Civil Warfare by RogueDruid (Icarius51). I honestly thought I had mentioned this one before, but it’s a MHA AU where there’s a ‘civil war’ every year between the students of 1-A and 1-B. Two of them are chosen to be the leaders of the Heroes and Villains. Of course, Bakugo is chosen as the hero leader, but Izuku is chosen as the villains. Will he be able to step into the role and help his fellow ‘villains’ win? Find out as it’s complete and has a sequel and a spin-off.

Sadly, I also completed that and turned to Tome of the Orange Sky by CmptrWz again. It’s a Naruto and slight Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha crossover that I first mentioned here. Naruto finds an old and broken device and it uses the Kyuubi to help recreate itself. Now Kurama is dead and everything changes. It’s completed!

To end, my replacement for Weasley Brothers’ Enterprises is Hybird Hive – Eat Shard by CmptrWz. Its a Worm and Magical Lyrical Nanoha crossover that I first mentioned here. When Taylor triggers in the locker, a Belkan device is pulled along. It absorbs her shard and connects with her. How will magic affect this grim dark world? This one is also complete! With that said, I just put a link that shows what my current listening list is.

Finally, the quest continues! First is It’s OK Not to Be OK (But I Promise, I’m Trying) by rayrae118. It’s here because it’s the first in the series of the actual next one. In this one, McGonagall finds out what Harry is going through at the Dursleys and takes him in at the end of third year. It follows the summer after and fourth year. It’s mostly Harry/Ginny with some Ron/Hermione in there. It’s a good completed series overall and a favorite.

The actual first is Every Tear Fall Down for a Reason (But I Promise I Won’t Cry for You) by rayrae118. This one is the fifth-year story. How will this Harry deal with Umbridge? And will he learn the prophecy? All this and more!

Second is the Evil Gohan Series by Dr. Trunks Briefs. I’ve mentioned them before here and they’re no longer on ff.net. However, I found a drive that has all the fics here. Impasse has Future Gohan and Trunks coming to help with the androids, with a little helper. There it’s revealed that Gohan in the that future, snapped and needs meds to stay normal. They want to stop the androids and make sure Gohan stays sane.

Finesse is the sequel set when Gohan goes to high school. The future gang is back to make sure Gohan doesn’t snap and make sure things go well with Videl. However, they don’t expect Buu and Gohan being controlled. How will things work out?

Pavisse is the prequel, the story of Future Gohan and what happened with him.

Technically third is Exiles by kb0. This is a Harry Potter fic that goes AU after the final battle. The remaining Des take out the adults when they relax after the battle. The Ministry Six and George are captured and put in Azkaban. They escape and exile themselves rather than face trial. This one is completed with six chapters, a sad, but good read.

Lastly, fourth and the final E is Exodus by Ld1449. It’s a Worm and Big Hero 6 crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Taylor is tossed into the realm where Calhan’s daughter is at the end of Worm as Hiro and Baymax are saving her. They grab her as well and she heals. Find out how a former villain helps out the world’s first hero team. And are those new parahumans popping up? This is completed!

PoGo Tour Kalos! and Other Info

Hello everyone! As I said, this is late because I went to the Pokémon Go Tour at the Rose Bowl Stadium and the fact I’ve had things going on during the week so far that have made it so I didn’t have time to post until now. I’ll talk about that in a second, but I wanted to let everyone know that I’m taking a break from posting for a week to update the archive links. I don’t know how long ago I last caught up on the links, so I’m going to make sure they’re caught up through this post. I’ll probably also make a list of the stories from the current quest. Maybe one for my favorite fanfics/books/anime and one for what I’m listening to as well. Basically, my next post will probably be on the 8th of March.

I also made a promise to my anime group that I’d post the first chapter of my fanfic this month, so I’ll probably post that on the 28th. Its name is Theurgy Thru Replevy and my handle on fanfiction.net is TheReader2011 and on AO3 is TheReader2017. As a reminder, it’s a Cardcaptor Sakura and My Hero Academia crossover. Basically, Izuku becomes the new Cardcaptor, but it brings most if not all of the characters from Cardcaptor Sakura into the MHA world, eventually (and maybe not all in this first ‘book’). I’m going to work on the description, and I want one of my alpha(?) readers to give me a little feedback back at least on the first chapter. However, my first choice isn’t doing it, and my other four are busy themselves. I hope one of the two I’ll see on Saturday will at least give me some about the first few chapters. I’ll be looking for an actual Beta reader when I post it.

Anyway, onto the Go Tour, I got 16ish new shinnies including Xerneas, 2 Furfrou, 2 of the 4 Hat Pikachus (one gender for each hat) and some Unowns. I walked a lot and my legs are finally almost back to normal. I didn’t really interact with anyone, but that was fine. I’ll have another chance at getting more this weekend with the Global version. I got back on Monday night and was tired, so I didn’t work on this. Tuesday, I had to work on my church’s website because even though I’ve handed the upkeep to others, they didn’t know how to do something, so it fell to me. Yesterday I had another event and so it falls to today.

Work’s been fine, I’m by myself for today and tomorrow and of course this is when it gets busy. I’m not looking forward to when my supervisor gets back on Monday because he set something up right before he left on vacation and didn’t explain it very well. We asked his supervisor (and the one who’s in charge of us while he’s gone) if she knew what he wanted with it. She took off the notices he put on our desks because she didn’t feel he should set something up, not explain it, then go on vacation. However, he and I get in before she does and I’m not looking forward to having to explain why they’re not there if she hasn’t notified him beforehand.

So, my listening schedule was messed up for a little while because of the Go Tour. My text to speech app takes a lot of power and I only brought one battery pack with me (because that’s all we were supposedly allowed). I used an old phone, but it didn’t have some of the newer ones I put on the app (like the EiS and Mobuseka crossover I mentioned recently). So I just listened to Hogwarts- An Escalation by Temporal Knight. This on is a Harry Potter and Worm crossover. A slightly AU Taylor is transported to the Greengrass’ manor during a confrontation with Bakuda (who also comes along and is killed). After she figures out she’s not in Kansas anymore, she agrees to be the Greengrass sister’s bodyguard at Hogwarts. How will 5th year HP deal with the Queen of Escalation? Read and find out, slightly, as it only has 17 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2023.

I only had two changes I had in my actual schedule last week, the first was that I finished with Solidarity Among Students, Class 1-A Edition by Jetstream and had a quick listen to Weasley Brothers’ Enterprises by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a short four-chapter story where Harry asks first year, why don’t the Weasley siblings do more to earn money if they need it. He gives them suggestions and they run with it. It’s complete and a fun little story. I didn’t start the new story after that until this week, so I’ll wait until the next post to announce the replacement.

The second was that I finished Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs vol 1and decided to listen to (you guessed it) The Eminence in Shadow Vol 1 by Daisuke Aizawa. Listening to the light novel gives me a bit more insight into characters (especially the Seven Shades). The first volume goes through the school invasion arc, so there’s a lot to work through. Cid, or Shadow, is basically the same, just maybe a little more straightforward (like actually asking Gamma for money, but taking more than the grabbed even though he offered him a lot more).

Onto the quest, first is Enough by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter fic I first mentioned here. Harry has been hiding his real skills from everyone as he knows that Dumbles and his supposed friends aren’t looking out for him. He takes him NEWTS right after he passes his OWLS and escapes from England. Voldie is still defeated, but not by Harry. It’s a fun little completed 8-chapter story.

Second is Equus by sakurademonalchemist. This is a KHR and Harry Potter crossover I’ve mentioned before here. Fem Harry (Harmony) escapes from England after her 5th year and lives in Italy as a horse rancher. However, this leads her to meet and eventually marry Dino Cavallone. Everything is great, until England comes knocking. It’s an interesting fic with 17 chapters, but is, of course, incomplete and hasn’t updated since 2017.

Third is Erazerhead – The Unknown Hero by Clouds (myheadinthecoudsnotcomingdown). This one is a MHA fic where Izuku finds a piece of Eraserhead’s capture weapon and accidentally becomes a vigilante. However, no one knows except him, as they all think he’s the real one. It has 7 chapters and is still being updated every once in a while. The author has also indicated that it will only have 15 chapters.

Third is Escape From the Hokage’s Hat by anothvortex. It’s another Missing Hokage Naruto fic where he’s kicked out after bring back Sasuke that I’ve mentioned before here. In this one, Shizune, Tsunade and Hinata join him. They end up many different places and it currently ends up with the Hidden Village of the Star arc. It’s a good read and has 42 chapters, however it was last updated in 2012.

Fourth is Eternal Sands by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Harry Potter and Aladdin crossover. Fem Harry (Acacia) finds Jafar’s lamp and releases him. They get along well and end up together (the author tells Aladdin from Jafar’s perspective with more world building). There’s more to it, but more importantly, this one is actually finished with 11 chapters.

Fifth and finally is Even the Wizards Must Pay Their Due by Gamma Cavy. This is Harry Potter and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover. The Harry Potter world is ‘Outside’ and Ed and Al are sent to investigate. Dumbles tries to control Ed and he snaps the Deathstick and steals young Harry. When the wizards eventually get to the FMA world, the main battle is done and they’ll learn, as the title says. It’s complete with 16 chapters.
