Captain Marvel and the Quest (with Some D.N.Angel info)

Hello those few of you who read my blog! It’s been another week of work and as I promised here’s my thoughts on Captain Marvel.

Spoilers Start

So, it was a good movie. We didn’t know for a long time that Carol had been taken against her will by the Kree and that her power was from absorbing the power from the Tesseract engine, not something the Kree gave her. The fact that the Kree were the bad guys doesn’t surprise me, however the fact the Skrull were not did. Are we not going to have a Skrull invasion for the next saga, because that’s what I was honestly expecting? Since we know there will be more Marvel movies, I don’t know where they’re going to go from here. Guess we’ll find out with Avengers: Endgame. (Though maybe more with the Kree since they say they want Captain Marvel, or at least Ronan the Accuser did [which is actually a title, if you didn’t know])

Now onto Fury, he’s amusing in this, especially with Goose the cat. Which is actually a Flerken, an alien with mouth tentacles that eats bad guys (and the Tesseract). The most amusing thing is that Goose is the reason Fury looses an eye. Now as for why Captain Marvel hasn’t been in any of the other movies and Fury didn’t call her. It’s because she was helping the Skrull find a new home and Fury only wanted to call her if something was really wrong. Her flight name on her plane in a picture is the reason why Fury named The Avenger Initiative as it’s named.

So I’ve finished Honestly Harry and the Founders Chambers (yeah, I mostly skimmed it. It’s my least favorite of the Honest Harry fics (mostly cause of Ginny, not that she’s bad, just how she’s not really in it). The new chapters this week are: The Dragon’s Knight (Wed, Thurs, Fri), Flameheart (Wed, Thurs, Fri), Melody of Fire (Wed & Thurs), Worm – Waterworks (2 chaps, one’s an interlude), Heroes Assemble! (Now on chapter 100), Celestial Worm, Deku: The Telekinetic Hero, Titanfall & Mauling Snarks.

Before we get to my quest, I also read more Honestly Harry stories. First is a 2nd year Christmas side story called A Very Granger Christmas, where the Honestly Harry universe starts into M territory. Yes, they’re young, but they’re honestly older mentally and the bond is pushing them. They don’t ‘do the deed,’ but they explore. Not bad, but I only skimmed this one as well.

Back to the main story, I started reading the next in the series with is the story of the summer before third year called, Honestly Harry – The Unplottable Discoveries. I like this one better than either of the 2nd year fic, but it continues the M situations (and it will continue like this through the most recent story). Watch as Harry and his bondmates deal with the outcome of their 2nd year and prepare for their 3rd year at Hogwarts.

Back to the quest, the first story this time is, Darkened Wizards. It’s a Harry Potter and D N Angel crossover, with some Naruto at the end. Turns out Emiko Niwa (Daisuke’s mom) is Lily’s twin sister and Petunia remembers her after second year. Sending Harry to her for the summer changes things and a changed Harry and Daisuke come to Hogwarts for their third year. How will Harry’s inclusion into the Niwa family change things? And who’s that with Hiwatari? Unless otherwise stated, all fics from now on are unfinished and last updated in 2012.

Second is A Twist in Fate, a Sailor Moon and Naruto crossover. When Usagi is young, a break in at their home has the Tsukino family moving to Konoha. Usagi trains to become a ninja and befriends Itachi. How will this affect her fate as Sailor Moon and what will happen with Mamoru?

Third is Nozomi of the Sand, a Harry Potter and Naruto crossover. Fem Harry goes with the Dursleys to Suna and befriends Gaara and Temari. Later, looking to escape the wizarding world, she joins the village as a civilian contractor. Watch how her presence changes things.

Following that is a two-chapter story called Let’s Play a Game. It’s a Fullmetal Alchemist and Sailor Moon crossover where Ed and Al are sent to the Sailor Moon Universe by Truth’s sister (AKA the author). Ed is turned into a girl and Al is a cat, will they be able to ship up to Scouts, or will they never get home? Will we ever find out? I honestly doubt it.

Then there’s Aburame Lightning, a Harry Potter and Naruto crossover that actually reaches 19 chapters. It has baby Harry being dropped off in front of the Aburame compound and adopted by the Head. Given bugs, he becomes the Heir and eventually befriends Naruto. How will the wizarding world deal with an heir that controls bugs?

Loki Black is next and it’s a purely Harry Potter story. Sirius wakes up the summer before Harry’s first year after falling through the veil. He’s Harry’ age and decides to join Hogwarts as his own son in order to help Harry. A good four chapters, but would ask for more.

After that is Dark Mage of the Zodiac, a Fairy Tail and Harry Potter crossover, with a nod to Fruits Basket. Harry almost dies, but is sent to Fiore by his magic to save him. He’s found by Zeref, who gives him the ‘Dark’ Zodiac Keys. He joins early on and is a prominent member when Lucy joins. The animal forms from Fruits Basket are the ‘Dark’ Zodiac members.

That’s all I’ll talk about for the quest, but I learned that after 8 years that the author of D.N.Angel is finally finishing the story. They’ve published quite a few chapters now, but I could only really find the first of the newest one’s translated online (which also led me to remember that only the first 13 volumes have been published in America). The Quest and Honestly Harry (With a Little Marvel)

Hello everyone! It’s Tuesday once again and you know what that means, another post. I saw Captain Marvel over the weekend and will talk about it next post. There will most likely be a spoiler warning for it, just so everyone knows. I continued my newest quest and I think I’ve now reread all of the fics I’ve already read from them now. I also finally finished rereading Honestly Harry – The Year of the Rock and started rereading The Greatest Prank (for amusement value). The new chapters this weekend are: Black Sky, Worm – Justice For All, Relic of the Future, Headstart, Worm: More Than Meets the Eye, A Ninja Summoned, Service With a Smile, Mauling Snarks, Melody of Fire and SAO: The Eroge.

I’ll cover the only non-quest story first, Honestly Harry – The Founders Chambers by Captain Compass. It’s the third in the series and covers the second year of this Harry and his hug-buddies. Watch as he tries to find all the Founder’s Chambers while students are being attacked. And why has Ginny forgot all about the other two?

Moving on the sakurademonalchemist quest stories, the first one that was reread was – Raptor. It’s a Jurassic Park/World and Harry Potter crossover. Hagrid’s dragon egg wasn’t one at all, it was a velociraptor that becomes attached to Harry (the only one to realize what it is). It bonds with him as a familiar and when he tries to find out where it came from, he finds out about John Hammond. He helps fund the park and make it safer (set a few years before the first movie). How will a dino-happy Harry change things?

Next is Bruja, a Harry Potter and Avengers crossover. It has fem Harry becoming Hel’s chosen after the final battle. Rather than let the sheep Ministry try to control her, she asks Hel to lock her in her animagus form, a cat. After wondering around for a while, she runs into Bruce Banner and becomes his pet. It’s not until S.H.E.I.L.D. comes looking for him that anyone realizes she’s anything more than a smart cat. What will happen next?

Then there was Reaping the Cards, a Bleach and Yu-Gi-Oh! crossover. Ichigo is sent to Domino City for school after the Winter War because his school is damaged in the war. There he meets Seto, Yugi and gang. After seeing the battle between Yami Yugi and Seto over the Yugi’s grandpa’s Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Ichigo saves it), he knows something weird is going on. How will the powerless Ichigo set things on a different track?

The last of the reread stories was FateConfusion! It’s the sequel to Naruto Emiya and is a Fate/Stay Night, Naruto and Fate/Zero crossover. It has a bored Naruto deciding to go troll the Fourth Grail War by taking the survivors from the Fifth with him to interfere. It’s fun, but only three chapters. Could have been much better. Not updated since 2014.

The first of the initial read through fics is Charm School Magic. It’s a Bleach, Lyrical Nanoha and Yu-Gi-Oh! Charmers crossover. Karin finds a device (based on Charmer’s gear) and becomes a mage a few months before the start of the both series. She trains and finds other devices for Yuzu and Orihime. Eventually, Nanoha starts and she helps Nanoha on her quest. How will mages change things? Not updated since 2013.

The second fic is Circus Surprise, a Gundam Wing and Harry Potter crossover. After fourth year, Harry runs away to the circus and ends up in the same one as Trowa. Harry gets involved with the Gundam pilots and helps them out. Warning The description says it’s a Trowa/Quatre fic, but it doesn’t get that far. Don’t like, don’t read. This and all other fics from now on (except for an exception or two) were last updated in 2012.

Third was Troubles in Time, a Harry Potter and Naruto crossover. Kushina was an adopted Uzumaki and was really a time-displaced fem Harry. When she’s about to die, a ritual by Dumbles pulls her a few years into the future into an eleven year-old body. She’s going to find her way back home, but the Shinigami asks for her help getting back the Hallows in exchange for a way to contact Konoha and her husband back. Will Hogwarts be able to handle the Red Hot-Blooded Habenaro?

Next is it’s sequel, Trails of the Fox. Kushina, her family and friends are back in the Elemental Countries, but now they have get back at those who wronged Naruto while they were gone. Will having his parents back change things? Was updated last in 2013.

Following that is three-chapter side story fic for the previously mentioned fics called Pranks and Punishments. It has three side stories from Troubles in Time and Trails of the Fox. Not very long, but amusing.

Then was Cutting Moon, Eclipsed Moon, a Bleach and Lyrical Nanoha crossover. While visiting Uminari, Ichigo finds a book that turns out to be device. When he awakens it, Time and Space Administration eventually approaches him and fixes it. It’s a fun four-chapter story, which once again I wish would continue.

There were also two new stories (I mean really?), the first is The Dragon’s Knight.  It’s a KHR, Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Apocrypha crossover.  Xansus is a magus with a family crest from his mother.  When he learns he can’t inherit, he decides to join on the Red team to get the grail and make a wish.  Watch as he summons Mordred and get started.  Only the first chapter.

Second was Flameheart, a KHR and My Hero Academia crossover.  Tsuna is thought to be quirkless, but in reality his father had his quirk sealed.  He works around his and decides not to be a victim.  However, everything changes when he learns that All Might is his grandfather!  Only the first chapter.

It’s a sakurademonalchemist Weekend, with Some Dragons Mixed in!

Hello again my friends. It’s been an interesting weekend, but nothing too interesting. At least I’m on time this week. I started more closely rereading Here in My Arms and that’s the only previously mentioned fic I read. The new chapters this weekend are: Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub, Relic of the Future, Taylor Varga (Omake), The Unseen Hunt, Luna Lovegood and the Dark Lord’s Diary, Muggleborn Teacher, Seerking’s Asylum and Souls of the Heart.

I got all three new Pokémon from this weekend’s event (Clampearl and it’s evolution) and even got two shinnies out of it. I also got the all the Pokémon from eggs (except for Happiny, which came from the Valentine’s event). I recently learned that you can catch Smeargle by taking photos of your Pokémon until it photo booms it. Then it’ll be in the wild wherever you are. I did it and it works.

The new fics are only from sakurademonalchemist, but that’s not the only thing I have to talk about. The first of these fics was Sora and Zorua. It’s a Harry Potter and Pokémon Ranger fic. Pokémon Ranger is a variant Pokémon game where you call Pokémon with a styler and only have one ‘partner’ Pokémon.

In the fic, Harry falls through into the Pokémon world and decides to be a Ranger at 10. He gets a Zorua that he helped once as his partner in order the save it from human revenge. He eventually gets his Hogwarts’ letters and heads there to learn how to use his powers. Not many ‘regular’ Pokémon characters, but a few are around. Not updated since 2014.

Second was Chaos Incarnate, which is a Ranma ½ and Naruto crossover. In it Ranma is cursed to keep looking as young as he did when he defeated Saffron and gets away from all but one of the fiancées. Later, he’s in the Leaf village and meets a young Naruto. Upon learning he’s a prankster, he gives Naruto a box of permanent cursed spring powder. What can go wrong with that? Also updated in 2014.

Third is one I reread called Some Hearts and is a Harry Potter, Marvel Cinematic Universe and Avengers crossover. After the war, fem Harry has her magic bound and is married to Draco Malfoy against her will. Hel, not liking that her newest ‘Master of Death’ was powerless, works things around that the two of them are in New York during the events of the end of Avengers. She finds a way to head to Asgard with Thor and Loki and uses that to help herself heal. Will she be able to find someone on Asgard? Same update year as the last two.

Next is another who I reread called Shinobi of the Night Sky. It’s a Naruto and Lyrical Nanoha crossover where Fem. Naruto is found with the Book of Darkness after the sealing of the Kyuubi. It activates at a young age and she finds herself partially paralyzed and with new family. How will the TSAB react to this? This one has not been updated since 2013.

Following that is Alchemy and Wizardry, a Harry Potter and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover. Before the Elric brothers can attempt human transmutation, they get letters to Hogwarts and decide to go. There they befriend fellow first year, Harry Potter. Will their new friend be able to stop them from trying to bring back their mom or will he decide to join in? This is based on the original anime, not the manga storyline. Also not updated since 2013.

Next to last is King of the Changlings, which is a Naruto and My Little Pony crossover. In it Naruto tries to summon without a contract at a very young age and gets Chrysalis, soon to be Queen on the Changlings. He signs her contract and she and her minions work to get him a better life. But how will things go when he meets the normal ponies after years of working with the changelings? Same update year as last two.

Finally, there was Unspoken Wars, which is a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover. Having had enough of the British Wizarding World after fourth year, Harry finds he has a relative Japan (Petunia was not related to him) and decides to got live with him. Enter Shiro Emiya, a Magus. But after years of animosity between Wizards and Magus, can the two get along? Also updated in 2013.

Moving on from fics, I also watched “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” this weekend. It’s good and I won’t post spoilers for it, but it is definitely the last in the series. The way the ending went, unless they decide to do something far in the future (or do things before the movie), there will be no more. I’m sad, but all things (good and bad) come to an end. If they didn’t, we wouldn’t appreciate that we will have even more great things to come.

It’s Another Post with Mostly sakurademonalchemist Stories

Hi everyone, I’m on time this post! It was a short week, but I was kept busy with my job. I’ve started rereading Mauling Snarks and finished A Distant Storm, but other than that I haven’t really read something I’ve already talked about. The new chapters this week are: Naruto: The Game of Life, Heroes Assemble!, Hive Daughter, Taylor Varga (Omake Continued), Ashes to Flame (finishing it), Breaking the Gilded Cage, Angels and Demons and Mauling Snarks.

Moving on, I’m gonna continue with what I read by sakurademonalchemist. The first one I reread was Messenger of Hope. It’s a Naruto and Sonic the Hedgehog crossover. Sonic the Hedgehog is a game and cartoon about a very fast blue hedgehog that goes against Dr. Robotnik.

In the fic, Sonic and his friends are summons that fem. Naruto gets before she graduates the academy. She starts up a messenger service under another name and when she doesn’t graduate, makes it her fulltime job. Watch her and the Sonic crew change things, including the Akatsuki. It hasn’t been updated since 2015.

Second I reread was Gorgon, a Harry Potter and Fate/Unlimited Blade Works crossover. It has Illya waking up in Diagon Alley years in the past after being killed in UBW. She discovers it is when Harry Potter starts Hogwarts and goes with him to make his life better. Watch as she changes his and her lives to make them better. Also not updated since 2015.

Then came the ones I read for the first time. First one was Iced Darkness, a Harry Potter and Rise of the Guardians crossover. Rise of the Guardians is a movie about Jack Frost, a spirit who is chosen to join spirits like Santa Claus and Easter Bunny in the Guardians. However, Pitch wants to drag them all into the blackness. Who will win?

The fic has fem Harry becoming the dark version of Jack’s powers after her owl is killed and nothing is done about it. She and Jack are eventually told to join the Guardians, but Pitch has his own plans, including one that led fem Harry to where she is. Last updated in 2014.

Second is Golden Queen, a Fate/Stay Night and Harry Potter crossover. It has an under ten fem. Harry being assalted by a man in Japan and accidentally summoning a Saber version of Gilgamesh from the Archer at the church. He deages to Kol Gil and they grow up together under the Magus Killer’s fathering. How will this change things? Same update time as previous one.

Next is The Death God and the Mystic Eyes, which is a Bleach and Tsukihime crossover. Tsukihime is from the Type-Moon Universe. It’s about Shiki Tohno, a boy who, unless he wears special glasses, can see lines on everything that if he traces them, kills them. This ability is called, The Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. He has to deal with Dead Apostles and a True Ancestor that come to his city. Arceuid, the True Ancestor, is after one of the Dad Apostles that keeps reviving himself. In the Visual Novel, like with Fate/Stay Night, you can pursue different girls.

In the fic, Ichigo finds himself with these eyes and wants to change them. He works with Rin (from Fate/Stay Night) and Zelretch to do this. There isn’t much in the Bleach storyline yet, but that time period just started. Again not updated since 2014.

Lastly is one I mentioned about near the beginning of my blog, but didn’t link to or talk about. I reread Memories of Nobody, which is a Kingdom Hearts and Harry Potter crossover. It has Xion, #14 from Organization 13, taking Fem Harry’s place after the killing curse kills Fem Harry to put her and her parents into Kingdom Hearts to be reborn. Watch as Xion goes to Hogwarts and tries to save her fellow Nobodies (that she actually likes). Not updated since 2017.

Finally I reread parts of the fic, Here in My Arms by Platinumsabr. It’s a Rosario + Vampire fic. Rosario + Vampire is a manga turned anime about Tsukine Aono. He is a human boy who’s parents accidentally sign him up for a school for monsters (youkai) called Youkai Academy. He meets a female vampire named Moka who really likes his blood. However, she has an powerful inner personality that only he can free. Watch as he tries to get by while hiding that he’s a human.

In the fic, it’s after the first two years of schooling and Tsukine decides he’s gonna confess to Moka. It doesn’t go well and he chooses to let go of something that he already knew he had already lost, changing everything. It’s a good story with 30 chapters, but unfortunately hasn’t been updated since 2017.

The First Day of the New Job and Going to Pick Up KHIII Soon!

So, it was a long first day on the job, but I’m grateful I have one! Because of that and other things, I don’t have much for this weekend. However, I have gotten started on the fanfiction links I promised. You’ll notice on the top of the page next to the Archive link, there is now a Fanfiction & Links link. I’ve split it so you can look for the fics by Author or by Original Story. There are links to these sections in the Fanfiction link, along with other links I’ve given that aren’t fanfictions. Since I didn’t have as much time as I would like, I’ve only add two author’s stories into both sections. Have a look if you like (I don’t know why the color is pink, I also haven’t had time to look into how to change it). Also, I’ve decided to have the name of the fic be the link to the story from now on my posts and the Fanfiction section.

Moving on, I read more Taylor Varga and Sky Bunny along with the Slime Web Novel and reread Justice, Justice Shall You Pursue and Petrification Proliferation. I also watch some more of the Black Clover anime, but switch to the manga after episode 30 and read up to the latest chapter, 190. The new chapters from this weekend are: Mauling Snarks, Tsunami, Seerking’s Asylum, The Unseen Hunt, Devil Ninja, and History’s Strongest Disciple Again? (azndrgn is taking Feb off to focus on Kingdom Hearts III). I wish I could, but I’m gonna get the game in less than an hour then probably crash.

I did read a few new fanfics anyway. The first one is Red String by Lady Hallen. It’s a KHR and Harry Potter story where fem. Harry meets Reborn after her war and after he grows up again. They hit it off and start spending time together, however with both of their secret lives, can they stay together? Find out if you read.

The only other one I read is called, Luna Lovegood and the Dark Lord’s Diary by The madness in me. It has Luna ending up with Voldemort’s diary a few months into her first year. When she writes in it, Tom of course writes back and wants to go back to Ginny. However, Luna likes him and doesn’t think he has Ginny’s interests at heart (lol, yeah no), so she keeps the diary. So the question must be asked, will Luna fall under his influence … or will Tom end up under hers?

I Got a Job! (YAY!)

Hey everyone, I finally got a job that isn’t temporary! I start on Monday and it’s a 10 hour work day so I may start posting earlier on Monday cause I start at 6 in the morning. I’ll have less time to read, but that doesn’t mean that I’ll stop posting. So look forward to many more posts my readers. I’ve decided that I’m going to create a fanfiction page where you can look through either the author’s name or originating story to find a certain fanfic. I’ll try and implement it this weekend.

This week was again more Taylor Varga while I continue to work through the web novel of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and finished rereading Demonic Jewels. No new episodes of the Slime anime yet cause that comes out on Monday. The new chapters for this week are: Flames, Reality Bites Worm, Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub, Hive Daughter, Seerking’s Asylum, Campione of the Raging Tides, A Ninja Summoned, Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Friday) & Omake(Wednesday), The Gamer, Titanfall, Raptor of the 20th Ward, Ashes to Flame, Mending the Knots, Breaking the Guilded Cage, Angels and Demons and Taylor Varga Omake (MCU).

In the fanfiction world, I started reading (but haven’t continued cause it couldn’t fully keep my attention) ‘Forged in Hellfire: Lost Soul Reborn’ by RainthelingeringSentiment. It’s a Naruto and Mortal Kombat crossover. Mortal Kombat is an arcade game turned movie and cartoon/anime? I don’t normally pay attention to it, but the fanfic sounded interesting at first. It has Naruto falling in love with Haku on the Wave mission and sacrificing himself to save her from Kakashi’s attack. This awakens the sleeping portion of his soul that was formerly Scorpion’s (Hasashi Hanzo) and they have to merge to stay alive. The resulting personality is a mix of the two and he has to figure out who he is now. It’s a harem fic. The second one in the same situation as the first is ‘Time Traveling Prince’ by Tactition101. It’s a Naruto and Sailor Moon crossover where Naruto is Chibiusa’s older twin brother who was sent to the allied Konoha to learn. He is sent after her to help her when she goes to the past and does his best to help her. It just didn’t catch my interest that day. The only other new stories I read were, of course, more sakurademonalchemist ones! Only four this time though. The first is ‘Lost Name’ and is a crossover between Cardcaptor Sakura and Harry Potter. It has Harry being Eriol from the second series and making his own cards. Clow even gets his own body for a while. The second one is ‘Angels Among Us,’ which is a crossover between Supernatural and Ghost Rider. It has an angel that has been captured in Hell being the power behind the Ghost Rider. When Dean is in Hell, he sees the angel and becomes her vessel to break her out of Hell when he gets out. Having her around changes things and mostly for the better. Third is ‘Soul and Sword,’ a crossover between Yu Yu Hakusho and Fate/Stay Night. Shiro heard about Genkai from his father before he died, so he goes to her to help him train as a Magus. He ends up in her tournament and ends up getting training from her alongside Yusuke. Shiro unlocks his magic and learns how to be a psychic while helping Yusuke and the gang. The final on is the one I’d already read, ‘Sky Bunny.’ It’s one of the newer(ish) of their stories and is a crossover between KHR and Yu-Gi-Oh! I’ve mentioned it before, but haven’t talked about it. So, Yu-Gi-Oh! Is an anime based on a card games of the same title. The original series is about Yugi Muto, an aspiring duelist who has an old gold Egyptian puzzle necklace that looks like and upside down pyramid. This necklace has the spirit of an old Egyptian pharaoh who takes over and helps Yugi duel. He soon learns that just because it’s a game, it doesn’t make it any less real.

The story has a Fem. Tsuna becoming Yugi’s rival’s, Seto Kaiba, assistant to get away from her hometown. Seto ends up keeping her as his assistant and even transfers her to his and Yugi’s school (before the series starts). I also watched the first episodes of the anime, “Black Clover.” It’s about a young boy named Asta who wants to become the Magic King to prove a poor orphan can do it. The only problem, he doesn’t have any magic. When everyone else, including his rival Yuno, gets a grimoire and he doesn’t, he’s devastated. However, when he stands up to a magician to save his friend, he gets a grimoire that manifests a sword that cuts through magic. The one issue, it has a five-leaf clover on it. That indicates that it’s related to a demon, the very beings the original Wizard King defeated. What will happen next? I don’t know, I just started watching it, but it’s really interesting anyway.

It’s a Week to KH3!

Hey everyone! It’s been an fun weekend.  No polls and I haven’t had time to work on getting the list of fanfic I’ve mentioned up yet, still figuring out how I want to do it.  In PoGo news, I got a shiny Feebas on Saturday’s event but no one on my town’s chat can find this month’s Spinda task.  Anyway, I continued with Taylor Varga and Drifting, along with starting to rereading Demonic Jewels and catching up with Titanfall (Fanfic).  I also watched Back Cover and Kingdom Hearts 0.2, so I am completely ready for KH3 a week from now!  This weekend’s new chapters were: The Gamer (Webcomic), Breaking the Guilded Cage, Angels and Demons, Relic of the Future, An Essence of Silver and Steel, Taylor Varga Omake (Sat, Sun, Mon), Headstart, Warlock, Price of Blood, The Unseen Hunt, Gun Bunny and Mauling Snarks.  I also learned I need to catch up with Ashes of the Past cause it had the battle the whole fic has been leading up to in a few chapters update (not that it’s finished, just that the original point of having gone back is done).

I actually read a few new stories this weekend, so get ready, cause here they come!  First is ‘Hive Daughter’ by PlateGlassArmour.  It’s a Worm fic with a slight Warhammer 40,000 crossover.  It has Taylor connecting to their Hive mind when she Triggers and learning how they do what they do.  Watch as Taylor becomes a Bio-tinker Master and try to work with the good guys (which is hard because some of them are against her), here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13012317/1/Hive-Daughter.

Next is ‘Teeth and Claws’ by TheShadowSwan.  It’s a Harry Potter and KHR crossover with a fem. Then, there was ‘Marvel’s Maelstrom’ by Pibbinator.  It’s a Naruto and MCU crossover that has Naruto being transported to save him by Sasuke during the battle against Kaguya.  He ends up landing near Kamar-Taj and the Ancient One takes him in and helps him.  He wants to get back to help his friends, but can’t find out how to do it.  He ends up looking for the Space Stone to help him and gets caught up in the MCU’s problems.  Here is the link – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12365777/1/Marvel-s-Maelstrom.

On to more sakurademonalchemist, the first is on that is only on AO3, ‘Transcending Time and Space.’  It’s another crossover between Harry Potter and KHR and has fem. After that is ‘An Angel and a Trickster,’ which is a Supernatural and Harry Potter crossover.  In it, fem. Third is ‘Shattered Mask’ a crossover between Naruto and MCU.  When the council tries to screw her over after the War, Fem Naruto takes the other Bijuu and vessels out of the Elemental Countries.  They scatter, but she ends up on Asgard as a bar maid.  There she meets Thor, Loki and friends.  The only one she can tolerate is Loki and she decides to help him out.  Here is the link – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10709418/1/Shattered-Mask.

Fourth is ‘Crimson Typhoon,’ which is a One Piece and Naruto.  Kushina’s dad is Shanks and he picks up Fem. Naruto after his parents are killed.  She joins him on her crew and ends up working on her own. Fifth is ‘Hidden Song,’ another Harry Potter and Supernatural crossover.  This time though, Harry is Bobby (more aged for reasons).  Watch as he helps the Winchesters out while dealing with England come for him. Sixth (and last that I’ve read currently of their fics) is ‘Kitsune Otome,’ which is a Mai HIME (Mai OTOME) crossover.  In the battle between Sasuke and Fem. Moving On, I also watched “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.”  The anime is only 16 episodes long now, but the web novel (turned light novel) is finished.  After watching all the episodes, I started reading the web novel.  Anyway, it’s about an almost 40 salary worker who saves his junior from being stabbed and gets killed.  He ends up reincarnated in another world as a slime, but a powerful one.  I haven’t finished it yet (by a long shot), but it’s interesting.

No Votes on My Poll

So, my very few readers, it is once again time for me to write my babble that you decide to read. After 2 weeks of the poll existing and no one voting, I have decided to follow what my friend said and just continue with the new style of posts. I have another idea that I would make another poll about, if I actually thought anyone would vote on it. At some point over the next few weeks, I’ll make a page that will have the links to the fanfictions I’ve posted about. I plan to update them the week after I mention them from now on. So, intrepid readers, look forward to that.

I’ve mostly continued to reread Harry Potter and the Daft Morons (which will hopefully be finished soon), but I’ve also finished watching Skyward Wing play through Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and watched the Back Cover video from the 2.8 game collection. All that’s left to prepare myself for Kingdom Hearts 3 on the 29th is to what Kingdom Hearts 0.2. I also watched the translated missions 851-855 from the Japanese version of KHUx. In it, Marluxia’s somebody, Lauriam’s looking for his sister (Strelitza) through her teammate Elrena, who is Larxene’s somebody. We still don’t know who the somebodies for Luxord or Demyz are. Also the opening theme for KH3 is now available on iTunes. Search for Face My Fears by Hikaru Utada.

The new chapters for the week are: Reality Bites Worm, Service with a Smile, Worm – Justice for All, Breaking the Guilded Cage (Tues, Thur, Fri), Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Omake), Tsunami, Taylor Varga Omake (Wed, Fri), Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub, Ashes to Flames, Devil Ninja and Mauling Snarks. I also started on a few new interesting stories.

The first of these is ‘Drifting’ by AlphaDelta1001. It’s a Naruto fic that has Naruto being a badass and learning how to fight from animals. It’s a harem fic that has at least 7 girls. It has 52 chapters out, but I’m only on chapter 28 now. It’s interesting because it’s a Chunin Exam in another country (instead of in Konoha like it always is). It even has all of the Kages there. Next is a fic that came from a short by Seerking that another took over called, ‘The Rising of the Shield Heroine,’ by Tale Swapper. It’s a Worm and Rising of a Shield Hero crossover. It has Taylor getting the shield from the second story as her power. Queen Administrator gets her own body and is in charge of the ‘Halp’ system. Now it’s time for (you guessed it) more new sakurademonalchemist fics I’ve read. I’ll start off with the newest one (meaning it came out this month), ‘Angels and Demons.’ It’s a Harry Potter and Final Fantasy 7 crossover, where female Harry is a Sephiroth look-a-like who was summoned via the Lifestream by Death Eaters. She gets back to her original home after fifth year and becomes a Monster Hunter and eventually runs into the SOLIDERS. Returning to their unupdated fics from 2014, the first one is ‘Hunter’ and it’s sequel ‘Walker.’ It’s a Supernatural and Harry Potter crossover that has Vernon and Dudley getting killed by a Wendigo when Harry was young. This leads him to become a ‘research monkey’ for the Hunters. He gets along with Loki and eventually leaves Hogwarts to help hunters. In the sequel, he gets stuck in the past helping fix things, just 135 before he gets back home. Following that is ‘Angel’s Horn,’ which is a Supernatural and Magical Nanoha crossover. It has Hayate being Dean’s daughter and see goes looking for him after her two minders leave her alone. The brother’s find a demon in the ‘Book of Darkness’ and excise it, leading to the Guardians to be released. And how is connected to Loki? A sakurademonalchemist Week (with still no votes on my poll)

Well intrepid readers (the few of you there are), there has still not been any votes on my poll.  I asked a friend her opinion and since that is the only one I’ve heard so far, if no one votes then I’ll go by her decision.  I’ll post the link again in this post in the hopes that someone will read this and vote – https://linkto.run/p/24VJOOZJ.  I just started classes that happen on Thursday night and am thinking of changing my posting dates if it doesn’t work out having them on the same day.  Moving to the point of this blog, I read so more Taylor Varga.  The new chapters this week are: Reality Bites Worm, Archer, Breaking the Gilded Cage (Wed & Thurs), Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Omake), The Gamer (Webcomic), Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub and GATE: Thus the Chosen One Fought There.

The only series I read these past few days that wasn’t Taylor Varga or a sakura(youknowtherest) fic was ‘Mythical Night’ by Myrddin le Faye (not their original screen name, but they’ve changed it several times).  It’s a Naruto and Arrow (though it’s mostly DC universe now) crossover where the Kyubi convinces Naruto that it’s better to become a ‘hero’ than to be a ninja.  Thus he becomes the ‘Arrow’ of Konoha (the recent TV series version) and soon many others join him taking the names of DC universe heroes and villains.

As indicated last paragraph, the rest of the fanfics are by sakurademonalchemist.  The first one is ‘Moon’s Blessing’ which is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Ouran High School Host Club.  Ouran High School Host Club is a manga turned anime about a host club a rich private high school (aka a club where girls can bewooed by good looking men for money, though this one is a rich kid version with no kissing or more).  When the scholarship student Haruhi Fujioka accidentally breaks an expensive vase she is drafted into the host club, because the club thinks she’s a guy at first.  Watch as she pretends to be a boy as she works with her friends at the host club and help them become better people, just by being around.  It’s a good anime and manga with a catchy opening theme.

The fic has Usagi being the sister of the main male character, Tamaka Sou, who has stayed at her aunts because another uncle was ‘interested’ (and not in a good way).  When said uncle passes away, Usagi transfers away to Ouran to be with her brother.  Watch as an accidental change of birth leads to large changes.  The link to the fic is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11232145/1/Moon-s-Blessing.

The second story was ‘Blood for Blood’ which is a Naruto and Hellsing crossover.  Hellsing is about the vampire Alucard who works with the Hellsing Organization to keep his fellow vampires in line in England.  Watch him and his newly made partner Seras (a former police woman who he had to kill during his first job and brought her back) take on all comers from vampires, to priests, to Nazis.  The manga and the second anime version (Hellsing Ultimate) are the better ones.  The originals not bad, just not as good (in my opinion).

This fic is set far in the future of Hellsing where centuries have passed.  When the ninja villages were founded Alucard went on a killing spree and he and Seras were sealed near Konoha.  When fem Naruto finds out about them early in life, she goes and releases them.  They take form as her age and join the class.  Watch as she and her new companions change the ninja world with their bloodthirsty ways, here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11133925/1/Blood-for-Blood.

Next, I read “Forgotten Angel’ which is a Harry Potter, Supernatural and Constantine crossover.  Constantine is about John Constantine, a demon hunter who joins up with a police woman who is investigating her twin’s death.  Getting mixed up with angels and demons they seek to find their own peace.  It’s based on the DC Comic character.

In the fic, Harry is not slated to live much past birth, so Castiel is sent to take his place and kill Voldemort.  However, when he is hit with the killing curse, he forgets all his memories and as no-one in Heaven really cares about him he lives his life as ‘Harry.’  It follows the same sad story until it is found that ‘Harry’ can see the demons that pretend to be people.  He ends up living in a church, renamed Cas Sheilds, and the ‘younger brother of John Constantine.  Watch as this ‘Harry’ goes to Hogwarts and upsets the apple cart.  The link is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10807240/1/Forgotten-Angel.

After that it was ‘Tricksters and Gods’ and it’s sequel, ‘Pagans and Angels.’  Tricksters and Gods is a Harry Potter and MCU crossover.  After the events of the first Avengers movie, Loki is banished into human form until he is deemed worthy of returning to Asgard.  The spell goes slightly wrong and Loki ends up in Harry Potter.  After the curse on Halloween, it’s mostly Loki, with some Harry, that survives (without his memories).  Watch as Loki lives as Harry Potter and decides to not take the Magical World’s crap.  He becomes as Lawyer and drags the wizards into the 21 century.  Here is the link to the story – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10177155/1/Tricksters-and-Gods.

Then there was ‘Shifting Foxes’ (the only one of the sakura fics I haven’t read before) which is a Naruto and Pokémon crossover.  It has Naruto happening after an event that shifted the planets plates and had the Pokémon disappearing for two decades.  Now only ninjas are allowed to have Pokémon.  Naruto finds an eevee when he’s young that has been experimented on that allows it to change back and forth between all of it’s evolutions except for the original three.  Watch as he and his team change the world, with some help from the Legendaries.  Read it here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8736838/1/Shifting-Foxes.

Weekend of a Few Readers – 2019 Version

Hello my friends! It’s another Monday with very little traffic over the weekend. I was wondering why there were no votes on my pole and now it’s obvious that it’s because there was next to no one who had heard about it. Anyway, I spent sometime continuing rereading Taylor Varga, Outfoxed and Neo Yondaime Hokage, finished rereading How Eating a Strange Fruit Gave Me My Quirk and Prime Directive: Hero and reread History’s Strongest Disciple Again?! The new chapters for the weekend were from: Ashes to Flame, Mauling Snarks (Fri & Mon), Taylor Varga (Fri, Sat & Sun), Relic of the Future, The Reclamation of Black Magic, Muggleborn Teacher, The Unseen Hunt, The Healing Touch and Tsunami. I wonder if anyone would be interested in me making a page with the fanfiction/online stories links I’ve posted on it. Maybe the next poll if anyone ever votes on this one.

I started off by reading (for the first time) a fanfiction by lazybum89 called ‘A Conversation with the Master of Death.’ It’s an Avengers/Harry Potter crossover that has Phil Coulson meeting with ‘The Master of Death’ when Loki shoots him. He’s surprised to learn that he’s not the only one of the team to have met him. What will happen next? I’ll find out when you do because it only has 3 chapters so far and was last updated in Jan last year. Next I wanted to read a fanfiction, but I hadn’t read the other story it was a crossover with. The webcomic is called “Looking for Group” and is an amusing comic about a Dark Elf named Cale’anon who wants to be a hero, but ends up with people who are villains. This means mostly the first other character he meets, the warlock Richard, who loves killing and setting things on fire. It’s over a thousand pages, but I’ve only read almost 300 currently. I also reread another of VFSNAKE’s fics called, ‘Rewriting History.’ It’s a Naruto fic about how things went wrong after the last war and Naruto ends up in the past to fix the future, starting with stopping his clan’s village from being destroyed. Following that, I started read more sakurademonalchemist stories that I haven’t read before (none of which are finished, of course). The first one is called ‘Chaos Hunter,’ which is crossover between Supernatural and Slayers. “Slayers” is an older anime, based off light novels, about a powerful sorceress called Lina Inverse and her companions. She loves money, treasure and food and often overpowers her spells causing tons of damage. It was one of the most popular of the 1990s.

In the fic, she is transported to the Supernatural world and ends up with Sam instead of Jess at the beginning of the series. Next is ‘Wizard’s Law,’ which is a crossover between Harry Potter and “Law and Order: SVU.” Law and Order: SVU (or Special Victims Unit) a show is about detectives in the (fictional) 16th Precinct of New York PD who deal with crimes against children (sexual or otherwise) and the elderly. It’s interesting and I haven’t watched in a while, cause it’s been on since 1999 (on it’s 20th season now). Based on it’s predecessor “Law and Order,” it’s more popular (as evidenced in the fact it’s still going while the other one ended).

The story has the lead female detective, Olivia Benson; finding out Harry Potter is her distant cousin. He is sent to live with her after 4th year and decides he doesn’t want to go back. In-between baking sweets for the precinct and foiling the attempts of the order to get him back, his life is still anything but normal. Then came ‘The Greatest Prank,’ which the one I read Looking for Group for, as it crossovers with Harry Potter in this fic. After first year, Harry sends an owl message to (what he believes is) a fictional warlock named Richard. When he goes to Hogwarts for his second year, he finds out that self-same Richard is the new DADA teacher. What will be in store for the poor denizens of Hogwarts with him in castle? Following that was ‘A Deal Made in Good Faith,’ which is proof sakurademonalchemist can write longer fics (42 chapters, but still not finished). It’s a crossover mainly between Harry Potter and Supernatural, but there are others stories in there. Female Harry accidentally performs a demon summoning ritual and Crowley comes to investigate. Finding her, he makes a deal with Petunia for her and takes her to Hell. However, she is not tortured or turned into a demon. He wants to use her to finally get the contracts on Voldemort and Dumbledore that are overdue. Follow her as she works to get them or pay their price herself. ‘Curses and Cures’ is the next one. It’s a crossover between Ranma ½ and Fruits Basket. Kyo goes on a training trip to China and finds himself with a curse from the Jusenkyo. This is not a great thing, but he finds out it nulls his Cat curse when active. Using this and his new skills from training with the Amazons, he’ll take the Fruits Basket world by storm. Finally, I read ‘Back in Black,’ which is primarily a Harry Potter and Supernatural crossover. Years after defeating Voldemort, Harry finds he can’t live in his loveless life anymore and asks Death to reincarnate him where he’ll have love in his life. Death reincarnates him as Dean Winchester, with no immediate access to his previous life.
