Digimon Can Make You Late Reprise

Hello, everyone! Sorry this is late again, and for mostly the same reason, as the title says. My supervisor finally allowed us to start sending everything out on Wednesday and it kept me busy through the end of the week. Then I spent most of the weekend continuing to work on Digimon: Time Stranger. I forgot to continue writing until I was getting ready for bed yesterday and was tired and didn’t want to stay up. I’ve been trying to get as far as I can because from Wednesday night on, I’m most likely going to be playing Pokémon Legends Z-A.

Onto the listening changes, first is I finished By the Grace of the Gods Vol 2. I decided as I was pressed for time at that moment to relisten to In Another World With My Smartphone Vol 1 on Audible. It’s an isekai about Touya Mochizuki a teenager who was accidentally killed by God. God reincarnated him at the same age in a magical world with his smartphone. Follow Touya as he learns magic and meets several girls who are interested in him.

I also finally finished Taylor Varga by mp3.1415player! Going by the Fanfiction.net chapters, there were 432, but that includes … as I was writing this I looked at the Sufficient Velocity threadmarks and learned there were over twenty chapters or interludes not on Fanfiction.net. I’ll have to add them and listen to them soon. Well anyway, I changed to another Worm fic by the same author, Fyre, Fyre, Burning Skitter. A slightly AU Taylor gets transported to a slightly AU Harry Potter universe during the fight at the Dept. of Mysteries. She promptly proves her title of Queen of Escalation and kicks and takes names. Watch as she gathers a new swarm and tries to get home. Unfinished and not updated in over a year, but worth the read.

I also got to a point in Princess of Mandalore by L4 of the West by that I wanted to read and not listen as I knew it was the slide to where things start to really go wrong. I then switched to another Youjo Senki crossover from the same author, but this time with Bleach. In A Young Reaper’s Afterlife, Tanya is killed by Mary and Being X agreed he had messed things up, so he decides to send her friends to the same place he will her, where he can’t interfere. It turns out that this is Soul Society. However, they were not all sent to the same time and it looks like she’s one of the last ones. It’s a Tanya/Visha pairing, Don’t Like, Don’t Read.

Now, to the quest: First is Campione of the Shinju by fg7dragon. It’s a Naruto and Campione! Crossover. Things go badly during the battle with Kaguya and Sasuke dies. He gives his power to Naruto and in trying to take her out, he transports them to the Campione! Universe. He kills her and ends up a Campione. Follow Naruto as he tries to find his way home. It has 7 chapters and is fun, but sadly hasn’t been updated since 2017. They haven’t updated any fic since 2018. However, I think they’re still around as some of their favorite stories were published in 2022 and 2023.

Second is Can’t See the Forest for the Trees by Dlldarkwolf. This is a My Hero Academia fic where fem. Izuku (Izumi) never got One for All. It’s set after the kids graduated and Shoto never started using his fire side. Izumi has somehow adopted Eri and is the Vigilante Forest. Follow as two lost souls find each other. It’s unfinished, but has 14 interesting chapters.

Third is Canary by cloud_nine_and_three_quarters. It’s another My Hero Academia fic. Izuku thinks he’s quirkless for the longest time. However, when he sings Set Fire to the Rain while it’s raining, the rain becomes fire. He learns that his quirk allows him to have get different affects when he sings different songs. He gets into UA’s general course and aims to get to the Hero course. This one is awesome, has links to YouTube for the songs and is complete! A rarity as you can tell.

Fourth is Captured in Her Eyes by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Naruto fic loosely based on the Detective Conan movie of the same name and is one of their older fics. Academy Student Hinata sees a murder on a trip with the class to an amusement park. She loses her memory of it and Naruto must help protect her from the murderer who wants to silence her before she gets back her memory. It’s also complete, but is a product of their learning writing ability.

Fifth is Cardcaptor Izuku by Myven_Nightshade. This is the other Cardcaptor Sakura and My Hero Academia fic that inspired me to write mine. Izuku finds the Sakura Card book in a shop and buys it. He opens it and sends the cards out with Windy like Sakura did (mine doesn’t do that). Kero comes out to complain and the whole set is put down as his quirk. He has to work to capture the Cards, to the displeasure of the heroes and cops. He’s still working on it while in the Hero Course. It’s unfinished with 39 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2022.

Sixth and final for today is Careless Talk by sbmcneil. It’s a Harry Potter one-shot. Harry and Ginny get close in fourth year and Hermoine and Ron accidentally let out the secret that Sirius was an Animagus and it led to Sirius’ death. It’s set from Hermione’s point of view telling her husband what happened. It’s sad, but follows the cread, ‘Careless talk costs lives’.

Now I’m tired after a long day I’m sure I’ll talk about next week. I’ll do my best to make sure my new game doesn’t make it late. As always, My Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key!

Digimon Can Make You Late

Hello, my readers! It’s been another week, and it’s been a busy one. I had to finish up things that my co-worker couldn’t do or didn’t know about during my time off when my friend visited. Then my supervisor came back, and we got more things but can’t do anything with them until his says so. It’s frustrating, but what can you do. *shrug*

Sorry this is late, it was combination of being unable to sleep, hosting a zoom for most of Saturday and playing Digimon Story: Time Stranger. I’ve been enjoying it, but I need to get better at exp farming. It seems my Digimon are not at the correct levels for where I am, at least for the boss battles. I’m currently in the Digital World, but I just fixed the trains. I’m going to take some time to grind and get a few of my Digimon to Ultimate before I move on. (lol, the original Digimon theme (Butterfly) performed by the cast just popped up on my playlist as I was writing this.)

If I had written this yesterday, there wouldn’t have been any changes to my listening list. However, today I finished Reincarnated as a Sword vol 14 on Audible and switched to By the Grace of the Gods Vol 2. In this one, Ryoma joins in a monster hunting quest in an abandoned mine. He also gets an idea for using his slimes to do laundry. How will his new business work out?

Moving on to the reading quest; first is Burnt Genes by Night Raydes. This is a one-shot Harry Potter and X-Men crossover, or rather now it is. I vaguely remember it having ten chapters, but this author used to change their name multiple times and rewrite their stories. Now as I previously mentioned, they had a break down and aren’t currently writing. It has Harry awakening a mutation and the X-Men finding him before he goes to Hogwarts. That’s really all that it has currently.

Second is By The Grace of the Gods Book 1-7. This was really added because I listened to them on Audible during the quest and added them. As I’m going to be relistening to them soon, I’m not going describe more for now. Third and last of the B’s is By Your Side is Where I Belong by TexasBean. It’s a Naruto and One Piece crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Zoro gets lost and ends up in the Elemental Nations before meeting Luffy. He does some bounty hunting work and ends up in Konoha where he meets and defends Naruto from an attacker. Kakashi takes this chance to get Naruto a better childhood and manages to “let” Zoro get “lost” with Naruto and convinces him to take him with him. They get young Gaara too and then head out to eventually meet Luffy. It’s fun and has 26 chapters. Sadly, it hasn’t been updated since early 2021.

Fourth and first of the C’s is Cambion by Quatermass. It’s a Harry Potter and High School DxD crossover I’ve talked about before here. Harry is a half devil and James kicks him out of the Potters for having a different father. Hermione reveals that Riser Phenex is his father and asked him to fight him for Rias’ hand in marriage. It has 20 chapters but sadly hasn’t been updated since 2019.

Fifth is Campione of the Holy Grail by fg7dragon. It’s a Fate Stay Night (Heaven’s Feel Route) and Campione crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Things go differently and Ilya gets revenge on Angra Mainyu as they’re in the middle of traveling in the Kaleoscope and blows herself up. This happens in the Campione universe and Ilya is reincarnated in that world with several powers as she had the other Servants spirits in her. Follow her as she has fun in her new world. It has 6 chapters and it’s interesting. Unfortunately, it hasn’t updated since 2017.

Sixth and last as I’m tired is, Campione of the Raging Tide by SeerKing. It’s a Campione fic that I’ve mentioned before here. Basically, a different eighth campione is reborn before the Guinevere arc. She accepts Pandora as her new mother and is directed to get the seventh, Godou, to accept his place before the big battle with the campione slayer that’s coming. Jean, the MC, is mostly interested in women and thus if you don’t like, don’t read. It has 31 chapters and is still updating, though it’s in the author’s schedule so it’s months before an update.

To end, I contacted my old friend to edit what I’ve written for my fanfic. They don’t know the stories much at all, but I know they read and write a lot. Therefore, I’m mostly asking them to edit for readability and if they feel I need to add more because the chapters seem short to me. We’ll see how it goes. I Kept My Promise … Don’t Keep Your Distance (or I Posted Again!)

So, like the title says, I actually managed to write another post when I wanted to. Yay! As I start this post on Thursday, I am wearing my shirt with the KH quote like I said I would. Matt, you say, that’s great, but what’s happened for you this week?

At work, my supervisor is still being a pain. Yesterday, it was more so, enough so I talked with my previously mentioned supervisor’s supervisor today. My supervisor is off for today and tomorrow, but that isn’t really why I decided to talk to her. What made up my mind was my church’s service yesterday. The readings were pointing me that way, but the 2^nd hymn had the words “Oft to every man and nation, Comes the moment to decide, In the strife of Truth with falsehood, For the good or evil side”. There was more to it, but I decided that for myself and the others who had to work under him, I needed to say something.

Did I go into the meeting and lambast him? No, if I had gone in wishing evil to him in my heart, I might have, but that’s not who I am and not how it went. I brought it to her that he was doing too many things and is stressed and it’s affecting his work relationships. I said that while I am going to talk to him on Monday when he gets back, I wanted her to know so she can also support him in fixing the causes of the stress. We talked for a good hour or so about what’s been going on from my point of view and some things I was told by a co-worker (with her permission). I didn’t accuse, I didn’t blame, I wanted to help.

She listened and let me know some of the things I had mentioned were things that they (the two of them) had talked about in their meetings (the concepts and background, like micromanaging). I will talk to him on Monday (not that I’m looking forward to it), so that’s something I’ll talk about next post. So, look forward to it or not, we’ll see what happens. (Friday was very busy, but more relaxed without him around.)

Matt, if you were so annoyed as demonstrated by last weeks post, why did you go this route? Because my choice in church was to do this in as loving a way as possible. Pragmatically, being calm and logical to a potentially angry outburst make you look better because people are most likely so side with you, correct? Me going into that meeting or the one on Monday being accusing and blaming, will get me nowhere except causing issues. So, I’m going to get my slightly frayed control over my anger back under it and be cool and calm.

Also, I asked about the courses and she had talked to the department director about it, but they wanted more information about why those courses (which was in the original email about this subject). I understand, they’re very busy and an email from month’s ago, wouldn’t be their top remembrance priority. I won’t get a Spanish course, but they’ll buy me a Spanish learning CD set. Which, to be completely honest, I already have one or two.

That might work better for one of my co-workers they did the same for as they’re constantly on the road to sites so can repeat and respond. However apparently, even if I got an actual online course, I would have to do it outside of work time. One of the reasons I wanted to have a course was to take up some of the down time I have a work, so this is better than nothing, I guess.

On to what I’m listening to, honestly, it’s mostly the same list from last time because all of them are longer listens. I’m currently on Black Sky by Umei no Mai. It was the first fanfiction I talked about on the blog. It’s currently at 343 chapters, but the author hasn’t posted since last October. Still a really good fic. Yesterday’s Tomorrow is finished, so I continued back to this one to finish my rereading (which I have now the next day, now I need a new one to replace it in the rotation).

The next change is that I’m on the 15^th volume of Death March in a Parallel World Rhapsody. It’s mostly still following the web novel’s story with a few new elements along the way. I finished the 11^th volume of Reborn as a Space Mercenary and my new Audible story is the 10^th volume of Reincarnated as a Sword by Yuu Tanaka (also the last of the series currently available on Audible [except it’s not now, lol. The 11th volume just became available!]). I don’t think I’ve talked it yet on here, but it’s a classic isekai story where a guy dies and is reincarnated in another world. This time however, he just wakes up as a sword in the middle of nowhere. Luckily, he can view the world around him and psychically move. He eventually ends up being wielded by a Black Cat beast girl named Fran. She names him Teacher and wants to become the first Black Cat in history to evolve. It’s their story and it’s fun. There are 16 volumes out in print so plenty to read!

Finally, I forgot to mention a series I’m listening to in the rotation, My Hero School Adventure is All Wrong as Expected by storybookknight. It’s a My Hero Academia crossover with My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong, As I Expected. My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected (by Wataru Watari) is a slice of life story about Hikigaya Hachiman. He’s a loner high schooler that is a cynic about ‘youth’. He writes an essay about how it’s an illusion and degrading it, so his teacher forces him to join the Service Club. Watch as he’s forced to help students with their issues while dealing with the caustic President Yukino Yukinoshita. It’s amusing, but I don’t think I’ve read more than the first book.

In the fanfic, to prove other’s wrong and to show up the girl he confessed to (and was turned down), Hikigaya applies to UA hero school. Despite an alarming essay about heroics, caused by dealing with pain from a damaged leg (from when he saved a dog from being run over before the test), and only really helping people to copy their quirks, he gets in. Follow this cynic as he and his new friends (including many more characters from the original story) change the My Hero plot.

Moving on to my current quest, I’m planning on at least finishing all the that start with A then a space. It’s gonna be a long one. The first of these is A Family Duty by sbmcneil. It’s a short Harry/Ginny fic set after the war. Molly’s side of the family, the Prewetts had a mandate from royalty based on a prophesy that they have to keep from going the wrong way. After the war, the sign that prophesy’s time is approaching happens and Molly and those of her family more inclined to Prewett magic have to work to stop the worst from happening. Naturally, one of those is Ginny and Harry is allowed by the words of the prophesy to help. It’s a cute little story.

Second is A Family of Rogues by sakurademonalchemist. Surprisingly, I haven’t talked about it before, but it wasn’t posted until 2020 and I wasn’t posting then. It’s a crossover between Katekyo Hitman Reborn and DC comics (mostly Batman, but small mentions of the Justice League). In it, Harley and Ivy take out some yakuza and find a young fem. Tsuna is there being held hostage against her father (who has no idea she’s missing). The Gotham Rogues take care of her and she even gives them the idea to call out the fact that the evidence found by the Batman can’t be used as he’s not deputized and wondering why he’s allowing Robin out so late on school nights and in a revealing outfit. It’s amusing and I wish it had more, but I think that about most of their fics.

Next is A Friend Indeed by kb0. It’s another cute Harry/Ginny short story. I’ve talked about it before here, but it’s still a fun story I come back to every once in a while. Then there’s A Godfather’s Love by sbmcneil. It’s a sad little Harry Potter one shot. The big change is that Sirius never escapes Azkaban and Voldemort attacks it in Harry’s sixth year. Sirius is tortured and killed while Harry watches having never learned of him. This causes him to confront Dumbledore about it and change how he’s going about preparing for the battle against Vodlie. It’s of course Harry/Ginny and worth a read.

After that is A Growing Affection by Xavon Wrentaile. I’ve talked about it here, but it’s a longer Naruto story that’s Naruto/Hinata. A Hero is Built by Kyodon follows that. It’s a My Hero Academia story. It’s a story where Izuku never got OFA and is grown up and head of a tech and support company. He and Ochaco are married (she’s not a hero either as she didn’t get into the hero course as there wasn’t a Midoriya to help) and he’s kidnapped by the Shie Hassaikai. There he meets Eri and like Tony Stark, creates an armor to help get himself out. This is his story of how he becomes a hero despite his quirklessness. It’s unfortunately incomplete and has been since 2021, but there’s still 17 chapters to enjoy.

Then there’s A Hero Rises by Zabeck. It’s another My Hero Academia fic, but this one is a lot longer and is still updating (even if I’m personally a bit behind). [*Also a warning, this has explicit sex scenes, don’t read if you’re underage or aren’t interested*] Izuku’s and All Might’s first meeting goes slightly differently and it changes how All Might goes about things. It manages to set things up for Izuku to save Himiko and they eventually start going out. However, don’t think this is just a Izuku/Himiko story. No, it’s’ a Izuku/Himiko/All 1-A girls harem. It has a more morally flexable Izuku that has a more involved relationship with Tomura. It’s worth a read if you’re okay with the mentioned scenes and some, ah, kinks, that are mentioned in the tags.

Following that is, A Hunter’s Heroics by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a My Hero Academia and Hunter x Hunter crossover (that was also posted in 2020). Gon is Fem. Izuku’s (Ichigo) maternal cousin and Inko moves them to Whale Island after she sees how Ichigo is starting to be treated after being diagnosed quirkless. Ichigo follows Gon to the hunter exam and the story changes. It’s only 7 chapters and of course incomplete, but a fun fic none the less.

A Kernel of Truth by mp3.1415player is the next one. It’s a Worm fanfic set when Taylor is young. Like all of mp3.14’s fics, it’s very funny. Annette’s ancestry is very strange and that’s caused odd things to happen around Taylor. Like the monster under the bed being real and named Bob and her beating up the closet monster for not being quiet so she can go to sleep. It digresses from there. Very funny, unfortunately not complete and hasn’t updated since 2022.

Then there’s A Memorable Christmas by SailorLeia. It’s a Sailor Moon fic set during Sailor Moon R. It’s a Serena/Darien fic set during Christmas. Darien hasn’t remembered that he’s Tuxedo Mask and Usagi and the others are doing their best to remind him and get the two together. However, twins Ann and Alan won’t make it easy. It’s fun and complete!

To follow is A New Beginning by Breanie. It’s the sequel to A Different Beginning and it follows Harry and the others through their seventh year and beyond. It’s a Harry/Ginny story and worth reading. Then, A New Hero by Platinumsabr. It’s a Rosario + Vampire and slight Ben 10 crossover. I mainly read this because of one of their other fics that I’ve talked about on here before, Here in My Arms. This is only one chapter, but more were expected. The author hasn’t posted anything since 2017.

After that is A New Journey by Texas Longhorn. It’s a Pokémon fic where Ash wins at the Sinnoh tournament and becomes the Champion. Then, he’s offered the chance to become the Pokémon Master. However, before he can face the current one for the title, he has to catch all the Pokémon from the four regions. Misty joins him on his journey and their relationship evolves. It’s an interesting fic and is still updating.

Then A New Life by Serena530 follows. It’s a Harry Potter and Sailor Moon crossover. It starts off on a sad note as Ginny dies as well in the final battle. In the aftermath, Harry learns that he isn’t really the son of James and Lily. It turns out he’s really Japanese and his current looks are because of a disguise spell Dumbles put on him. After falling out with Ron and Hermione, he decides to take up his real name and go to Japan to learn about his real culture. So Mamoru Chiba goes to Japan and meets a certain dango-haired young girl. It’s interesting, but incomplete. It was last updated in February.

Next is what I call the A Not So Story trilogy. First is A Not So Story – Sirius Catches Up by Captain Compass. It’s a Harry Potter one-shot parody. Sirius escapes, but things are very different. Including singing gondolas, Snape in MLP pajamas and all you can eat haggis. It’s amusing.

Second is A Not So Story – The Fourth Champion by Captain Compass. It’s a Harry Potter short story parody about what would happen if Harry had declared Tom Riddle as his substitute. Silliness ensues. Third and finally is A Not So Story x The Graveyard by Captain Compass. Another one-shot parody where Harry and Cedric play rock, paper scissors to decide who will take the cup and they keep on tying. ‘Moody’ is sent to fix the issues and there is a very different outcome.

After that is A Place in My Dreams by SeerKing. It’s a Sword Art Online and Campione crossover. Set after the Campione story is over, Kirito defeats Kayaba Akihiko like he does in the series. However, the battle has a second stage as Kayaba is backed by a god. In slaying him, Kirito becomes a Campione. This is about how he discovers his powers and deals with the Japanese magic association. It’s still being updated, but irregularly as it’s not on SeerKing’s scheduled updates, not that he’s updated in a month and half.

A Protector’s Pride by NeoRyu777, which I’ve talked about before here, is next. It’s a Bleach fic where Ichigo deals with his inner hollow before the Vizards come to him. They decide to battle every two weeks and whoever wins is in control until the next battle. It’s finished, but the author didn’t end up writing the sequel he wanted to. The outline for it is on the last chapter and he should be publishing his first book this year.

Followed by A Push in the Right Direction by sbmcneil. It’s a cute little Harry/Ginny one-shot. Harry has trouble being romantic because of his past, but Ginny helps him figure it out. Worth a read. Then there’s, A Rain Cloud in a Stormy Sky by AmberPaladin. It’s a Harry Potter and Katekyo Hitman Reborn crossover. Fem. Harry, Ivy-Rose, runs away after her fourth year. She ends up working for the Varia after Xanxus is frozen. Then, she accidentally becomes the Cloud officer. It’s 17 chapters but hasn’t been updated since 2021.

Getting closer to the end there’s, A Ripple in the Pattern by Liam G. It’s a Bleach and Wheel of Time crossover. Ichigo is sent by the Reio to the world of Wheel of Time to fix one of his oldest mistakes. He’s sent to the White Tower around the time Ewgene and company arrive. Things change from there. The author has stopped writing since 2023 and if they come back will rewrite them.

One I’ve mentioned before during this authors quest, A Second Chance by sakurademonalchemist. Here is where I first talked about it. It’s a Harry Potter and Rosario + Vampire crossover. Harry decides to go to Youkai Academy before 5^th year. It’s only three chapters and hasn’t updated since 2013.

A My Hero Academia one-shot is next, A Secret Torch by Clouds (myheadinthecoudsnotcomingdown). A reporter finds out about One for All and Izuku has to deal with the fallout. It’s interesting. A Harry Potter short story follows, A Set Up Gone Wrong by jojor99. In it Harry didn’t go to Hogwarts and meets Ginny when she’s tricked into going to a Ministry dinner. It’s fun, complete and has 12 chapters.

Then there’s a Star Wars time travel story called A Sith’s Second Chance by VFSNAKE. After he dies, Vader wakes up on Naboo at the beginning of Episode 1. He decides to change things for the better. It’s an great story, but not for those who are Obi-Wan fans.

Next is a prequel to the actual next story Throw a Chair Through a Window and Call It a Day by jaded_ghoster. It’s a My Hero Academia story where Aizawa is put in charge of UA for a week. He makes Izuku his secretary and chaos ensues. It’s sequel, A Slight Emotional Manipulation of Peers by jaded_ghoster, is after Aizawa is now the vice-principial and more chaos happens. It’s 5 chapters and was updated last month.

Then there’s a Harry Potter three-shot, A Smarter Hunt by kb0. Harry decides to finish the war in a different way. He goes to hire the goblins to find the Horcruxes and hunt the Death Eaters. It goes well.

The next is a set of stories in the same Harry Potter world. While only the first one is one in the original list, the other two stories were in the same folder so I did them together. First is A Sovereign Summer by DukeBrymin. Harry goes to the Burrow at the beginning of book 6 and finds himself falling in love with Ginny. Second, Like a Queen by DukeBrymin (and the original story) Harry tells Ginny he would ‘treat her like a queen’ when she goes to meet Dean on the train going to Hogwarts in the 6^th book. She has to decide who she’ll go out with. The third and final one is, A Princely Sum by DukeBrymin. It’s Christmas of the 6^th book and the twins decide to help their sister’s boyfriend with a problem he has. It’s very funny and they’re all worth a read.

The next I’ve talked about before here. It’s A Tale of Two Swords by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Harry Potter, Fate series and Hobbit crossover. Fem Harry pulls out Caliburn instead of the Sword of Gryffindor and things change. It’s incomplete (of course) and hasn’t been updated since 2018.

The next one is in the middle of a series I’ve already talked out. It’s the Honestly Harry Series by Captain Compass. The first one is, Honestly Harry – Getting to Hogwarts. I’ve talked about it before here. Hagrid takes Harry to Hogwarts instead of staying the night at the shack. Things change a lot and as a warning has underage messing around being pushed by magic. For the parts we’re talking about it’s a Harry/Ginny/Hermione story. Second is Honestly Harry – Year of the Rock. I talked about it before, here. It follows the first year of the three and the interesting things that happen. Third is Honestly Harry – The Founder’s Chambers. I talk about this one and the next one here. It tells the second year of the three. The actual one on the list happens in the middle of this fic during Christmas. It’s called A Very Granger Christmas by Captain Compass. [*It’s rated M for a reason, don’t like, don’t read*] Something has happened to Ginny, so she doesn’t remember them. So, Harry and Hermione go to her house for Christmas.

Next is another series, this one is A Very Special Series by Epeefencer. They’re all Harry Potter one-shots. The first one is, A Very Special Christmas by Epeefencer. At ten, Harry wishes for a happy Christmas and ends up at the Weasleys. Afterwards, Harry goes back to the Dursleys when he to sleep. Second is A Very Special Birthday by Epeefencer. Harry and Ginny wish to see each other on his birthday and he ends up there again. Third is A Very Special Birthday II – Ginny’s Birthday by Epeefencer. Harry ends up there again for Ginny’s birthday. But, something is different. Fourth is A Very Special Day: The Day After Ginny’s Birthday by Epeefencer. Harry actually stays the night after Ginny’s birthday and this is the aftermath. Fifth is A Very Special Day: Going to Hogwarts by Epeefencer. It tells the story of Harry going to Hogwarts without Ginny. Or is he? Finally is A Very Special Day: Attending Hogwarts by Epeefencer. It tells the story of Harry and Ginny’s first day at Hogwarts. They’re a fun set of stories.

The final story for today is A Young Girl’s Delinquency Record by Gremlin Jack. It’s a Youjo Senki fanfic. Tanya doesn’t get the stand down order and she and the other’s stop the Francois from evacuating. However, Tanya blows up the Type 95 and destroys part of a city. She’s arrested and eventually tried by several countries for war crimes. She escapes and has to make her own way in the world. Eventually, Visha finds her way back to her and several other members of the 203^rd follow. Watch as they change the world. It’s a long time to get there, but it’s a Tanya/Visha story. It has 37 chapters and was last updated in 2023.

Okay, so like I said I’m looking forward to the new Pokémon game in October. However, the new Digimon Game, Time Stranger, comes out earlier in October. I’m a fan of Digimon too and am looking forward to it!

The End of the Death March (for now)

Tuesday

Today was once again, more Death March. I got only got to part 30 of act 16, but that was because I finished watching SkywardWing’s play through of Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. The new chapters for today were from Service with a Smile, Paranormal Investigator Squad (now with a 5 Nights at Freddie’s crossover), It’s in the Cards and Reality Bites Worm. I also started watching Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, also from SkywardWing. After that it’s just 0.2 and Back Cover (since I’m playing and keeping up with Kingdom Hearts Unionx on my phone) and I’ll be ready for Kingdom Hearts 3 next year! I’ll talk about a show that I rewatched a little bit of today called Princess Tutu. It’s about a story about a Prince and a Raven’s battle that wasn’t completed because the author died, escaping into the real world. However, the author made sure he would be able to direct things even if he died. Because things weren’t moving along, the author introduced a new element to the story, by giving a duck that had fallen in love with the Prince the ability to turn into a girl. She is also the only one who can return his heart shards to him (he shattered his heart to seal away the Raven). However, is this what he really wants?

It’s a pretty good, if a bit dark at times, story. It’s based on ballet and Duck’s or Ahiru in the Japanese version (which means duck anyway) transformed state, Princess Tutu, helps whichever character is in trouble that episode by dancing with them. There’s a dark twist in the middle and the ‘author’ is working against them most of the time, but I’ve always enjoyed it anyway. The first line of the anime is ‘Once upon a time, there was a man who died.’ Be sure to look it up.

Wednesday

I finished Death March today! Or at least up to where the story is currently. I’m glad I read it since the 78^th part update cause I would have been worried until the next one if it had ended on the 77^th. The next post on the Japanese story will be on the 16^th, so I suspect that it will be translated on the 17^th or 18^th so I’ll look for it then. The new chapters for today were – Another Fine Mess, Seperated at Birth, Warlock Organization 13 and a half, and Heroes Assemble!

I started rereading the fanfiction ‘God Slaying Blade Works by Marcus Galen Sands. It’s a crossover between Fate/Heaven’s Feel and Campione! where when Illya and Shirou are about to face Angra Mayu, they are transported (because of the Grail and Rin’s use of the Kaleidoscope) to the Campione! world. Shirou kills Angra Mayu and becomes a campione. He works with Illya to get home to Sakura, while trying to figure out what to do with his new powers and friends. Thursday

Today I continued reading God Slaying Blade Works, along with a few chapters of Desperately Seeking Ranma. The only new chapters that came out today is for Master Potter of Kamar-Taj. I also finished rewatching Princess Tutu, which was as good as I remember it being.

The only new thing I read today was “Roku de nashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records” or “Akashic Records of a Bastard Magic Instructor” by Tarō Hitsuji. It’s about Glenn Radars, who is a lazy person that has been mooching off his former magic instructor for a year. She forces him to become a magic instructor at a famous magic school, even though he hates magic. There he meets Rumia Tingel and Sistine Fibel who he eventually takes a liking to and all three help each other through the coming events. Though he’s like this now, he was once an assassin for the crown and he uses those skills to take on the opponents that try to harm his students. It was originally a light novel (that has 13 volumes and is still ongoing), it now has an anime and a manga version. I read the first book and watched all 12 episodes of the anime today. It’s pretty good and I’ll want to read the rest, but we still don’t really know what the Akashic Records are.

Also, thought I haven’t used it myself, I’m aware that PVP became available on PoGo today. I’ll try it out soon and mention what I think of it on here. I’m also going to look into making a page where you can see the archived posts without having to search through the main page, look forward to it! See you when I post again on Monday!

A Weekend for a Few Readers

So it looks like there were a few people who visited this past weekend. Thanks to those who did! Lets see if we can’t get more people to come. On to the weekend!

Friday

There were four new chapters that came out today. One for Stark Imprint, which reveals that it ‘happens’ after whatever the conclusion of the Avengers 4 movie. The second one was for Parva Sub Ingenti and has the group going back through the Gate to Earth. The third one was of course Mauling Snarks (as usual). The last one was for a story a previously mentioned author, ack1308, called ‘It Gets Worse.’ Like most of his stories, it is based on Worm. Instead of Taylor triggering with Insect Control, she gets an unconscious power that brings bad luck to those who wish her harm or discomfort. For most of the rest of the day I read Reaching for a Dream from yesterday and it’s three sequels. Reaching for a Dream is a straight Naruto fic, but at the end of it (30 chapters) they story leaves that universe. The second story is in the Justice League universe. Naruto and his wife (the Kyuubi) decide to try ‘Trolling the League.’ No, really that’s the name of the fic. It’s only 8 chapters, but it’s amusing. The third in the series is called ‘Sekirei? Is that some new species of little sister?’ The two go to the Sekirei universe (as is stated in the title) so Naruto can find some little sisters (it’s a common theme, he had some in the first story as well). He ends up derailing the Sekirei plan and of course finding some little sisters. This one is 17 chapters and is amusing. The last (currently) in this series is called ‘The(questionable) burdens of leadership of a troll Emperor.’ It takes place in the Stargate universe and starts long long before the original movie. Naruto and his wife decide to make an empire for his new little sisters, starting on a distant planet and planning to take over the galaxy(ies). I didn’t finish this today, but hope to tomorrow. To be honest, I haven’t really watched any Stargate before today. So, I watched the original movie to get a feel for it. I liked it, but I could have done without a family member ruining the ending on the way to dinner.

Oh, before I end today, I remembered that with all the Quartermass fics, I forgot to write about the Seerking story that updated on Wednesday. It’s called ‘Campione of the Raging Tides’ and is (obviously) set in the Campione universe. It has the eighth Campione being born, an OC (Original Character) named Jean Campbell. It shows her (re)birth and actions after becoming a Campione. It’s really good, but it’s a yuri(girl with girl) fic. Like I continue to say, Don’t Like, Don’t Read. Saturday

Not really much to say today. I finished The(questionable) burdens of leadership of a troll Emperor and read more of Becoming a Man among Men. The new story I read is called ‘Deku: The Golden Saiyan Hero of Hope. This is a My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball series crossover (though the author doesn’t label it that way). It has Deku finding his quirk? (This is unknown, it might be he just awakened his heritage as a Sayian. It’s unclear.) while also getting One for All. Since I mentioned the Dragon Ball series, I might as well go a little bit in depth on it for those who don’t know. The Dragon Ball series’ main character is Goku Son (or Son Goku in Japanese naming with the last name first). Goku is a Saiyan. Saiyans are a species of human like aliens who look human with a tail that can transform into an uncontrollable giant ape during the full moon. They were a mercenary group that took over planets and sold them. Goku was sent to Earth as a baby to destroy it, but an accident erases this instinct.

When he is 11 or 12, a girl named Bulma comes to his mountain home looking for a Dragon Ball. They are a set of seven golden balls with 1-7 stars on them that grant a wish to the one who gathers them. This sets them on journey that leads to many friends and enemies. His journey until he turns 18 (and gets married) happens in Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball Z continues his story and his son Gohan’s as well. There are many movies, specials and games along with newer series Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Heroes. If you want to watch everything, it will take a long time.

Other than that, today was the day that Moltres was available for three hours in raids (PoGo). I went out and got the shiny version (YAY), but right after that the game went buggy and after waiting a while I get went home. I got what I wanted; I don’t need more than one. On to tomorrow!

Sunday

Today had some more new chapters for stories, though they’re all Quartermass ones. The fics were Warlock, Parva Sub Ingenti and Plenipotent Player Prince. I also read a new fic from him called ‘Revenant.’ It’s a Harry Potter and X-Men crossover. After things go wrong and most of his friends die at his & Ginny’s wedding (He does, but Master of Death), Harry takes revenge as is put through the veil, ending up in the Xavier home a few years before the First Class movie. I started, but didn’t read much of, ‘One Punch Man: A tad different’ by CrimsonSZ. One Punch Man is about a man called Saitama who trained to be a hero for fun to fight against monsters. However, he is so powerful, one punch is all it takes to kill his enemies. In this fic instead of being ignored by the Hero’s Association, he meets the number 2 hero, Tatsumaki, during the first episode. I also read the fic, ‘Reincarnation Roulette’ by Nemesis13. It’s a Code Geass fic with Lelouch having been reincarnated millions of times. This one has him as female and is during the Japanese invasion. Things are very different. It only has 6 chapters, but I’m looking forward to more. The last story for today is ‘Remnant’s Maelstrom Shinobi’ by MothBallz. It’s a Naruto and RWBY crossover with Naruto being sent a long time into the future to save him. I started off reading some more of The Remnant Knight and One Punch Man: A tad different, but haven’t finished rereading them yet. There were some more new chapters: Seerking’s Asylum for Plot Bunnies that Won’t Stop Buggin Me, Mauling Snarks, Parva Sub Ingenti and Plenipotent Player Prince.

Then I read a new fic (for me) called ‘The Healing Touch’ by xpegasus. It is a My Hero Academia fic that has Deku finding that he does have a quirk that allows him to heal himself and others when he meets All Might. It’s interesting. I started reading another My Hero Academia fic named ‘Headstart’ by Kamil the Awesome. It has All Might finding Deku 4 years earlier and allowing him to get One for All earlier and train with it. I started rereading a fic called ‘Viridescent’ by darkfire1220 that is also a My Hero Academia fic. It has Deku having a quirk, but not using it because he is afraid of other’s reactions to it. This is because it is the same as his (OC) villain father’s. It has him getting One for All, but also attracting All for One’s attention. I read a lot of My Hero Academia fics today, right? The last one is called ‘Prime Directive: Hero’ by awkardnaut626. It has Deku finding out he does have a quirk at 4, that allow him to analyze anything, including quirks, and use it (including other’s quirk powers). See how this changes things. The last fanfiction I read today was ‘Time and Sand’ by Scififan33. It is a Star Wars story (yeah, I’m not going to explain this one. Look it up if you don’t know.). Luke ends up in the past before Episode I on Tatooine. He ended up there after an AU (Alternate Universe) of The Last Jedi where Luke goes with Rey to Ben. Sorry everyone, I went to sleep early yesterday and it wasn’t until today that I remembered I need to post. I figured I’d just wait and put today’s post in it too. On to the posts (now it’s very early Saturday, go figure)

Tuesday

I started today by reading a few more chapters in Becoming a Man Among Men. Then I reread a Pokemon one-shot and the some chapters from the fanfiction it’s a sort of prequel to – ‘I Swear It’ and ‘The Master Challenge: Intro and Kanto Arcs’ both by NoSignalBlueScreen. I Swear It is a Ash/Misty story (They don’t get together but it deals more with them starting to acknowledge their feelings) that happens during the solo training trip mentioned in The Master Challenge. The Master Challenge is set after Kalos (though the author started writing at the beginning of Kalos) and Ash decides he needs to go on a solo training trip with his Pokemon to get stronger. A year later, the Master Challenge is announced and all of Ash’s friends/traveling companions & rivals show up to take it. It involves going through all of the regions to find something in each one, but wait, what is Team Rocket doing!? And what’s this about the gang’s parents? The author splits each of the regions into a separate fic. I like this author and all of his stories, there are more one-shots dealing with other characters and their backstories plus several longer fics I’ll mention later. I also got a few new chapters today, the first is a Naruto story that happens after the “Finding Tsunade” arc called ‘The Unexpected Lord of Foxes’ by Solvdrage. Solvdrage is a fellow Naruto/Hinata shipper and has many stories with that paring. This one has the Hyuuga Elders deposing Hinata’s dad and planning to punish Hinata and Negi. Hinata gets to express her feelings to Naruto and he decides to help her and the clan out, with some (as mentioned in the title) unexpected help. I read the new chapter and started to reread the story (it’s only 12 chapters). The last story I read was a Naruto and Bleach crossover named, ‘Kitsune of Las Noches’ by brown phantom. It has Gin and Kaname saving Naruto from a mob when he was young and training him along with Aizen and the Espada (This happens a while before the start of Bleach). He goes back to Konoha to become a Genin, see how his training and outlook change the Naruto universe. It’s a great fic from a great author. He has written almost 50 stories (Most of them Naruto) and their all good (even if there are more than a few unfinished). I didn’t read much today, but I did start rereading another Code Geass fanfiction ‘Code Geass: The Rise of the Black Prince’ by nanoman79. It’s an interesting story with the starting point that Lelouch & Nunnaly’s mother didn’t die and what would happen if they finished growing up in Britannia. It has 107 chapter and a sequel with some chapters, but the author hasn’t written anything since 2016. Not to say they don’t have good stories, but it always annoys me when people don’t finish their fics or at least give a good reason why they stop. Other than that, I got some new chapters. The first one is a Naruto & Harry Potter crossover called ‘A Ninja Summoned’ by Baleygr. It has Harry being transported to the Naruto verse when he was young (which runs 2 times faster than the Harry Potter verse), becoming a ninja, going through the Naruto timeline before the main part of the fanfiction and marrying a female Naruto. After all this in the prologue, an adult Harry is summoned by the Goblet of Fire from in front of his wife to participate in the Tri-wizard Tournament. Follow Harry and the team that comes from Konoha in their adventures in the Potter verse! It’s on it’s fifth chapter and if good. The next new chapter is the next story by Seerking – ‘Worm – Justice for All’. It’s a crossover between Worm and the Japanese light novel series “Infinite Dendrogram”. Infinite Dendrogram is about a young man who starts a VR game that gives each player an Embryo that evolves as the player grows. The main character gets a rare type that looks human a Type-Maiden. This fanfic has Taylor getting a Type-Maiden Embryo. The first arc of the story was already posted on his plot bunny story – Seerking’s Asylum for Plot Bunnies That Won’t Stop Bugging Me, but he’s edited it and is posting the chapters in his line up (it’s only on the second now). The last one is from a series I haven’t mentioned yet, the supposed rival of Pokemon, Digimon. Digimon is a show with multiple series with different ‘digidestined’ who partner up with a digimon to save the human and digital world. They’re not all in the same universe. It’s called ‘Crossing Boundaries, Second Edition’ by Yua-hime. The author is remaking their older fic. It deals with Kuroku and Clockmon gathering the digi-destined from the other plots for the ending of Fusion. It mostly focuses on Daisuke, how he is treated and others think of him. The last thing for today was that I was reminded I saw Mission Impossible: Fallout this weekend. I liked it because it tied all the other movies together. So as I mentioned at the top, I’m writing this on Friday (sorry again). I remember yesterday fairly well, so on to it.

Yesterday was mostly filled with Code Geass: The Rise of the Black Prince and finishing The Unexpected Lord of Foxes, but I did get two new chapters. The first one I’ll mention was ‘The Lady of the Flies’ by InsanityIncarnate90 and is a Worm and High School DxD. At the end of Worm, Taylor is dropped into the DxD verse and is reincarnated into a devil by a young Rias Gremory. See how Taylor changes things. The second one is a fic called ‘Out of Time’ by Saint Danielle. It is a My Hero Academia fanfiction. For those who don’t know it, it deals with a senior middle school student named Izuku who is powerless in a world where those having no having powers are the minority. He studies heroes and wants to be one, but is looked down on for it. He impresses his hero, All Might, who passes his ‘Quirk’ (what powers are called) on to him (the only one that can be passed on). Watch Izuku take on the name, Deku, and study to become a great hero with others, while dealing with supervillains. In Out of Time, Izuku is one of the first heroes and on his final battle, he disappears. He reappears many years later, during the original stories time, and has to figure out how to adapt while figuring out who the bad guys really are. It’s only three chapters, but it’s good. Once again not much, mostly Code Geass: The Rise of the Black Prince, I’m on chapter 61. I got new chapter for previously mentioned fics: Taylor Varga, Mauling Snarks and Elemental Sky. I also started a completely new fanfic, ‘Child of the Storm’ by Nimbus Llewelyn. It’s a crossover between Harry Potter and The Avengers (Marvel verse). It happens in Year 3 (now in 2013) of HP and in 2013 Marvel movie verse (but Loki is good now). Thor was James Potter with his memories erased, but was killed before a merging could be done. His memories were blocked because he went mad and is only reminded of them when Harry mentally calls for help as he’s falling from his broom in the match with Dementors. I also started rereading a Bleach fic called ‘Ichigo Awakens’ by Teloch. It has Ichigo saving his mother (Though she’s now in a coma) when he is young and starts training to take on Aizen and Ywatch. A Diverse Weekend

Friday –

Today was an interesting day as I went through many fanfiction to find one that would keep my attention. I’ve had this problem before, either I have to find something else to do or I find a fanfiction that can keep my attention. This one lead me through several including several whose original stories I haven’t mentioned here yet. I finished reading Heroes Assemble! and then moved onto ‘Skittering Campione’ by Greatazuredragon. It’s a crossover between Worm (Skitter is Taylor’s first cape name) and a series called Campione!. It was a light novel then became an anime that only has one season so far. The main character (Godo Kusanagi) is a normal high school student until on trip he finds himself in a fight between two gods who have become ‘Heretic’ (meaning they rebel against being wherever they normally are and cause destruction to the world). Through a set of unlikely circumstances (Or the most obvious circumstances if you look at how often that happens in stories), Godo defeats one of the Gods with the help of a ‘witch’ and becomes a Campione or God Slayer. This means he gets power from the God(s) he defeats. Look it up, it’s good.

Anywho, in the fanfiction at the end of Worm, Taylor is transported to Campione! universe and is transformed in a campione because of her defeat of the big bad of her universe. Watch as her actions change the Campione! universe for the good, funny and weird. I went through a few one shots after that and only one was interesting, but it was an omake of a conversation in another fanfiction that would only take longer to go through, so I’ll talk about the omake when I read that fanfiction. The next one I actually read was ‘A Growing Affection’ by Xavon Wrentaile. It is a Naruto fanfiction. Like Harry Potter is the top of the Book section of FF.net in number of stories, so is Naruto the top of the Anime section. I’m actually surprised it too me this long to get to a Naruto story. For those of you who don’t know, Naruto is about a young boy who wants to became a ninja and the leader of his village, the Hokage. The only thing wrong with that is that most of the village hates him because he has a great monster (The Kyuubi) sealed in his gut through no fault of his own. Watch or read as this boy goes through hard work, teachers who barely teach him anything, getting hit by teammates, betrayal, hate, anger and many other things to save the world and gain the love and affection of the village that hated him (Yeah like KHR, I have some issues with the way the main character is treated. I mean his godfather doesn’t even come in until after the first few arcs and it’s never even mentioned that he’s his godfather until later when we find out who his parents were in the sequel story set three years after the original story ends.) There’s also now a story about the new generation out too, Boruto.

Moving on the fanfiction is set in the sequel story Naruto Shippuuden and follows an alternate storyline and focuses on Naruto getting together with Hinata (my favorite pairing that’s also canon) and dealing with the issues around him. I started another new story with a new original story, but since this one is already fairly long, I’ll talk about it tomorrow. Which you’ll be able to see right away ^_^

Saturday

So I’ll start off the story I mentioned in yesterday’s part, ‘Soul Chess’ by draconichero21. This a one of favorites and it is a crossover between Code Geass and Bleach. Bleach, for those who don’t know, is like Naruto as being one of most popular mangas/animes of the past generation (as the original generation of Naruto is finished anyway). It’s about Ichigo Kurosaki a high school student who can see ghosts. He has a run in with a Hollow (Monster spirits who want to eat you) and a Shinigami (‘Good’ spirits who have the power to purify Hollows and send ghosts to the afterlife) named Rukia Kuchiki. He ends up becoming a Shinigami and gets involved in (Wouldn’t you know it) a plot to save the world (because the afterlife is crap and nobles who don’t care about people run it). Other than my personal issues with the governing system of the afterlife (Soul Society), this is a good story. Though it gets convoluted in the last arc.

In the fanfiction, Lelouch from Geass ends up in the Soul Society long before even the flashbacks in Bleach. Watch as his actions change things, for better or worse. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’ve at least watched Code Geass and possibly a bit of Bleach too. It’s 208 chapters and a teaser for a remake fic with more crossover characters in it to be at sometime in the future. I also reread the fanfiction ‘Pick up the Pieces and Move On’ by the first author I mentioned, Umei no Mai. It’s a sequel to the fic ‘Pick up the Pieces and Take Stock’ and they both deal with the after story of KHR through the lens of Xanxus in dealing with a ‘father’ who can’t see how he wronged Xanxus, a to-be leader who doesn’t know anything and doesn’t want the job and all the mental and physical issues he’s got because of his upbringing and the KHR story. They’re both good stories that are 8 chapters each with a third and final story in the works that Umei no Mai will finish before continuing Black Sky. I read more than 20 chapters of Growing Affection and a new chapter for the story, ‘Stark Imprint’ by Arthur Hansen which is a crossover story between Worm and Ironman. One of Tony Stark’s suits ends up in the Worm universe and when Taylor finds it (a few years before Worm’s start), it downloads a copy of his brain into hers. She gets his memories and talents while remaining herself and becomes a non-powered cape in the Worm-verse. Sunday

Today I went to a small birthday dinner for a church friend and learned that her granddchild has written fanfiction and is on FF.net. I haven’t read either of their stories, but their user name is DesertAnubis. There is a Dragon Ball Z fic (that’s been abandoned after 35 chapters) and a new Yu-Gi-Oh! fic that has been finished IRL, but is slowly being posted. I read some more Soul Chess and Growing Affection, but other than that I just have a story I started rereading and a new chapter for a story I haven’t mentioned yet. The story is called ‘Broken Dreams’ by ThunderReborn and is a Bleach story where after the Winter War, things are different and Ichigo gains his enemy’s sword and most powerful tool. He is trained by them and his own sword while everyone thinks he’s powerless and ignores him. When he graduates high school he walks away and has several crossovers (starting with High School DxD). The new chapter is from the fanfiction ‘ Mending the Knots’ by azndrgn (the author who I’m editing for on another story). It’s a RWBY story where Jaune doesn’t get into Beacon and starts a massage business. It’s fun and still has your favorite characters in it. The main reason I didn’t read much else is that I got the app Fate/Grand Order (from the same universe as Fate/Stay Night [though without the rated R stuff]). I got caught up in it, KHUx and PoGo (I finally moved on to the fourth set of the Celebi quests). See you tomorrow when I actually post all this.

Monday

So as usual for today, I read the new chapter of Mauling Snarks. I also spent time on Fate/Grand Order and KHUx again. I also reread two stories by SeerKing that are finished or not currently being worked on. They are ‘RWBY – Poison Promise’ and ‘RWBY – Flame of Atonement’. In the first one, Ruby is posioned and it deals with finding who did it and curing her. The second one deals with the aftermath. Poison Promise done at 10 chapter and Flame of Atonement is on hiatus at 4 chapters. I read sakurademonalchemist’s newest story (Again not finishing any of their older ones) ‘Elemental Sky’ in which a female Tsuna learn that she is cousins with the Sand Siblings from Naruto (Temari, Kankaro, and Gaara) and goes to visit them (at a time before the chunin exams). I also started rereading the story ‘Becoming a Man Among Men’ by Dragon6. It is based on the Ranma 1/2 story which is about Ranma, a high school aged martial artist who accidentally falls into a cursed pool that causes him to become an aquatransexual (which means he turns into a girl when hit by cold water and back to a boy when hit by hot water). He is then forced to agree to marry one of three daughters of his (abusive, thieving, lying, habitually agreeing to marriage contracts for his son for silly things) father’s friend. Ranma has to deal with multiple fiancees, men who are after said fiancees and people who blame him for what his father did (I swear, I have not seen a story with so many character with daddy issues and some mommy issues). Becoming a Man Among Men has Ranma reading his father’s journal after becoming an aquatransexual and learns of all of his father’s misdeeds and his planning to marry him to his friend’s daughter.
