Sorry! Longer Work Week (with the Quest!)

Sorry I’m late! I ended up working Friday and went to sleep early and yesterday I was helping my mother out with an event along with Pogo Community day so I never got around to it… Anyway, been listening to more Taylor Varga and From Fake Dreams. The new chapters this week are: Black Sky, Relic of the Future (1^st Sat, 2^nd Sat), The Unseen Hunt (Mon, 2^nd Sun), Mauling Snarks (Mon & Fri), Viridescent, Kaien’s Fate, Aizen’s Experiment and Ichigo’s Sister, Hybrid Hive: Eat Shard?, Demon Skylark (Wed & Thurs), Ginny’s Plan, Famiglia Drabbles, Short Story Drabbles, Seerking’s Asylum, Devil Ninja, Titanfall, Deku: The Golden Sayian Hero of Hope & Game On! 3 1 (2 Chaps).

The first story this week was The Bug-Type Queen by LordCirce. It’s a Pokémon and Worm crossover when Taylor is blasted into the Pokémon world by Bakuda. There she finds she can communicate with bug-type Pokémon. It covers her journey to find her way back while protecting her hive. There are flashes of when she gets back, but there are only a few. It hasn’t been updated since 2016, but hopefully it will be eventually!

Next is A Skittering Heart by stewart92. It’s a Worm and Kingdom Hearts crossover where Taylor becomes a Keyblade wielder. She teams up with Parian. It also contains Final Fantasy elements. It hasn’t been updated in a year, but it has 43 chapters.

Next was Newtype Bet by Arthur Hansen. It’s a Gundam UC and Worm crossover where Taylor triggers as a Newtype. She builds Gundams to fight the Endbringers, but it doesn’t get that far. Only 5 chapters and it hasn’t been updated in a year, but it’s interesting.

With Time is a Danny Phantom fic by PhantomPhoenixGirl. It’s a characters’ watch the show fic. It doesn’t follow the show directly, but picks the episodes to view. It’s fun, but only 4 chapters.

The next chapters for the Myrddin de Celestis quest start with chapter 42 – Lightning Slayer. It’s a Harry Potter, inFAMOUS (the game) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover that was three-chapters. It has Fem. Harry being dropped off in LA as a kid and getting the electrical powers from the inFAMOUS game series. She becomes a protector and when she comes of age, she decides to head to Sunnydale and see the Hellsmouth and the Slayer. Rated M for obvious reasons.

Chapter 43 was Lightning Strikes and was most likely the story that prompted the last story cause it was in 2012 and this one was in 2011. Its ten-chapters and has Fem. Harry with the same powers, but in London. She meets her ‘family’ fighting Death Eaters and learns she has a twin sister. She decides to put up with her family that hates her (because of Dumbles) and enter the magical world during ‘third’ year. It has a Negima crossover, but it’s inconsistent because Eva and Chachamaru are mentioned as being friends before they even enter the story and introduce themselves… so yeah.

Chapter 44 was Rise of the Black Phoenix. It was an eleven-chapter Harry Potter story where Harry is left for dead in a forest so the Dursley’s can stop the letters. He finds his way to where he meets Ginny. Because of his injuries he doesn’t go to school that year and stays with Ginny. They decide to make their own organization to correct the world. It’s okay, but the author says his 12^th birthday is his 11^th before ‘2^nd’ year.

Chapter 45 was Order of Souls (the sort of remake of the last story). It was two chapters and is sort of the same, but he spends less time outside and they focus on the shopping trip for him.

Chapter 46 was End of Worlds. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter story that was really weird. Before Harry goes to Hogwarts, he and many others are killed in the ‘Kaleido Event.’ The Powers That Be bring him back… Yeah, I really don’t get this one very much.

Chapter 47 was Divine Sight. It was a ten-chapter Naruto and Harry Potter crossover. In it, Harry doesn’t have magic, but chakra. He’s looked down upon but does his best anyway. Eventually (like on the last ‘chapter’) Naruto and Hinata are transported to Hogwarts and don’t know how to get back. It’s okay, but not the greatest in the world.

Chapter 48 is Hyper Saiyans. It was a ten-chapter DBZ story where Chichi dies in childbirth. Gohan takes care of Goten by himself and eventually goes to high school to be able to graduate. He meets Videl and things happen almost the same up to where she finds out, which is where it ends. Chapter 49 is Dragon Ball Acceleration. It’s the same (only one chapter), but has him meeting Videl in a tournament and getting a date. They meet again in high school.

Chapter 50 was Blood War. It was actually their first story and it shows. It’s a seven-chapter Harry Potter story where Harry and Ginny are connected to the ‘Source’ and allows them to communicate with former hosts of the ‘Source’ (mostly Gods and such). They’ll become the mysterious Lord and Lady Phoenix and fight Voldemort.

Anime Week (and the New Quest Continues)

Hey peoples! It’s once again time for Matt’s ramblings! It’s been a pretty boring week, but at least my hours are back up again. Yay! I’ve mostly been rereading (more like listening) to Death March web novel. The new chapters this week are: Relic of the Future, Less Than Zero, An Essence of Silver and Steel, Mauling Snarks (Sat, Mon & Fri), The Unseen Hunt, The Rising of the Shield Heroine, Celestial Worm, Seerking’s Asylum, Ginny’s Plan, Darth Vader: Hero of Naboo, Naruto: The Game of Life, Titanfall and Taylor Varga (Omake).

I participated in the Torchic Community Day for PoGo even though I wasn’t feeling the greatest, but I still got seven shinies! It’s raid week and tomorrow there’ll be three hours where Lapras will be available as a raid boss continually and it has a shiny chance! I watched the new anime The Rising of the Shield Hero and was honestly not that impressed (especially with the last few episodes). I’ve read the chapters that depict that battle and they drew out it, a lot. Though I have to say I’m looking for to the next episode where some characters get their comeuppance (read the princess and the King)!

I also watched what’s out for the anime Wise Man’s Grandson. It’s another transported to another world anime based off a light novel. It has a man get reborn into a new world when he dies and is taught magic by his adopted grandfather (who is very famous, but never tells the main character). He’s very powerful by the time he becomes 15, but he’s never taught anything about the common sense of the world. Watch as he goes to Magic Academy and changes the world!

Finally (for this part) I watched the first season of Overlord (another anime from a light novel based on a transported person). This one has a gamer whose favorite game is shutting down. He’s the last of his guild around and decides to stay online until the server is shut down. He changes a line in an NPC, saying that she’s in love with him. When the server is shut down, he and the base are transported to a new world. The NPC’s come to life and he is stuck as a Lich. He investigates the world and plans to spread the name of his guild Aniz Ooal Gown so if others of his guild are there, they’ll find him. There are now three seasons and 13 light novels out now.

I’ll do the new fanfics before the quest stories. The author of Mauling Snarks (CmptrWz) has a new story, Hybrid Hive: Eat Shard? It’s a Worm and Lyrical Nanoha crossover. A broken Unison device from Belka finds Taylor triggering and finding her a good match (magically) ‘eats’ the Shard. It’s interesting even though there are only three chapters so far.

Next, I read Overlord – Lich and Vampire by Seerking (because I was watching the anime). It’s the same, except another guild member logs on not long before the server shuts down and is also transported with everyone. Watch as she changes things (though not much since it’s only five chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2017).

Then, sakurademonalchemist came out with a new story (though I know it from a compliation fic), Demon Skylark. It’s a KHR and Naruto crossover where Kyouya is reborn (lol) into Naruto Uzumaki. He hates Konoha because it’s full of fake carnavores and he runs away to Suna. There he meets Fem Gaara (Gaia) and they become close. Only one chapter so far.

Onto the quest with Myrddin de Celestis, Chapter 20 is Ruby’s Fate. It was a two-chapter RWBY and Harry Potter crossover. Fem. Harry leaves her universe and ends up in the RWBY one. There’s not much here, but she ends up helping them during the end of season 2.

Chapter 21 is Hidden Paths. It was an eight-chapter Harry Potter story where after Dumbledore dies, Harry discovers that Dumbles sealed away much of his potential. It starts coming back to him in segments. He and Ginny train to put an end to the war. Then Dumbles returns. It’s okay but needs some editing. Chapter 22 (Impossible Awakening) is a different version of the first chapter (it’s better, but darker).

Chapter 23 is GHOST. It was a seven-chapter Harry Potter and Danny Phantom crossover. Danny Phantom is a really great cartoon that ended too abruptly. It’s about Danny Fenton, whose parents are ghost hunters. They build a ghost portal, but it doesn’t work. Danny accidentally fixes it, but becomes half ghost. He uses his ghost form to fight and capture the ghosts. As I said, they ended things really fast. I wish they had continued it.

Harry almost dies saving a kid and awakens his ghost side. He uses it to reveal the dark side of Hogwarts. Along with finding a painting with two more founders. It’s an okay one, but not the greatest. Chapter 24 (Spirit of the Phantasm) is the same, but different and was started after this one. It focuses on going to the Greengrass house first.

Chapter 25 is Time Will Tell. It was a Harry Potter story with five chapters. In it, Harry and Ginny have lived to a future where the war is lost. They use an artifact to go back in time but end up in their baby bodies. Not much, but it’s not bad.

Chapter 26 is Shifters. I’ve read this one a while back and it was fun. It was a twelve-chapter Harry Potter and Negima crossover. It has Harry discovering he is a shifter after second year and can change into anyone he touches. He fakes his death and makes a new identity (Eva from Negima) to give Ginny a friend. They bring changes to Hogwarts. Chapter 27 (TransShift) is a Christmas 5^th year version where he doesn’t fake his death. It’s three chapters, but no Negima crossover.

Chapter 28 is Copykitten. It was a two-chapter Harry Potter and Naruto crossover. It has Fem. Harry being hidden as a male from everyone (including herself). She has mystical eyes that allow her to copy everything she sees, including spells. Doesn’t get much past her going into the Leaky Cauldron.

Chapter 29 is Balance in the Power of Gaia. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter story where Harry is under a spell that causes people/creatures to fall in love with him. He rebels and ends up at the Creeveys. It’s kinda meh in my opinon.

The last one I’ll talk about is Chapter 30, Avenge the Lost. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter, MCU and Avengers crossover. Harry is the brother of the Boy-Who-Lived and when Death Eaters ‘kill’ his youngest sister (she is brought back but doesn’t have control of her magic) he claims he’ll have vengeance and runs away. He meets Black Widow and they have a brief fling. Years later, he returns and starts taking out DEs. It ends with Fury sending Black Widow after Harry for the Avenger Initiative.

A Movie Week (and Another New Quest?)

Hello readers! I’m actually posting on Friday (gasp), I know it’s a shock. It was an uneventful week, but things did happen that I’ll talk about later. First though, there has been an update for PoGo that include several new Gen 4 Pokémon in the wild and 3 new lure modules that can help evolve into Magnazone, Glacion, Leafion and Probopass. I’ve only done the first and last, but I’ll do the others tomorrow or most likely during the community day for Torchic on Sunday.

I read more of Ascension Book One: Bloodline (almost finished) and reread Issei – The Gaming Gear, Naruto: The Game of Life and some of Death March and Harry Potter and the Stargate. The new chapters this week were – SAO: The Eroge, The Unseen Hunt, Master Potter of Kamar-Taj, Seerking’s Asylum (Mon & Fri), Mauling Snarks (Mon & Fri), Service with a Smile, Eighteen Years a Prodigy, Uzamaki Naruko: To the Victor, the Spoils V2, Heroes Assemble!, Ginny’s Plan, Titanfall, Kingdom Drabbles, Famiglia Drabbles, Short Story Drabbles (Thurs & Fri), Supernatural Drabbles & Taylor Varga.

I’ll be talking about Detective Pikachu and the Saga of Tanya the Evil movie so it’s time for a

Okay, so Detective Pikachu was amusing and cute and I enjoyed it a lot. I had wondered, even from just the previews, if Pikachu was really the dad. Thus, I was not surprised it was the case. I was interested in the fact the Mewtwo was the one from the first Pokémon movie (mentions of it being created in the Kanto region 20 years ago, and wouldn’t you know it, it’s been 20 years since the first movie) and wondered what happened with Ash in that world.

Moving on, I was also not surprised that the invalid father, not the son, was the culprit. Yeah, that plot twist wasn’t very twisty. What was, was that he wanted to take over Mewtwo’s body and put everyone in their Pokémon’s bodies. I mean really, I’m fairly sure only he benefited from that. What was really cool was the Ditto that could turn into humans. I mean, it was shown in Sun and Moon that they could do that, but wow!

The rest was fine, but not great. Oh, I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but the actual Pokémon movie this year is a remake of the first one, Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. Not sure what they’re going to change, but could be interesting.

Onto the Saga of Tanya the Evil movie, it was interesting. It covers what happens in books 3 & 4, but changes where some of the interactions take place and advances some of the character’s story arc (I mean with Mary Sue [really, that’s such a stupid name]). I haven’t read book 5 (the last one out in the US and I can’t find translations for the other 5), but Tanya hasn’t met her again bookwise after a brief encounter during her days testing things near the England equivalant. However, in the movie, Mary and her unit are in Moscow when Tanya and her battalion attacked it. Mary encounters Tanya and see her father’s gun. She asks God (Being X) for help and has his blessing on her device throughout the movie. They encounter each other again when Tanya is defending her new base and Mary Sue almost kills her, but Tanya wounds her and Mary is rescued.

It otherwise follows the book faithfully including, amusingly or disgustingly, the creepy guy from the Russian equivalent who wants (sexually) Tanya (who I remind you is only like 11 or 12). The movie ends with Tanya and crew getting two months in the rear testing before (as always) Tanya’s good work gets her more subordinates and back to the front lines.

Also, I’ll talk about a fic by rayrae118 here because it definitely has spoilers. Don’t You Cry No More is an Avengers: Endgame fic where Cap goes back and returns the stones, with a twist. This Cap has made up with Iron Man and spent time with him and his family. When he returns the Soul stone last, he is given the option of giving up his life for Tony’s, which he does. It’s a sad One-shot, but worth reading.

Following that I got an update for Price of Blood by ack1308 and realized I haven’t talked about it yet. It’s a Worm fic where after the locker incident and before the start of the story, Taylor is attacked by boys sent by Sophia. Before she’s knocked out, she finally gives the command to attack to her bugs and they don’t stop until she wakes up. Many people die and the PRT take Taylor in. Coil learns of Sophia’s imminent arrest; he convinces her the PRT is using her in an undercover operation and has her join the Undersiders. It’s interesting, but a very sad fic.

I also started reading The Mythical Codex to the Multiverse by (currently, I swear, this author has changed their name so many times) Myrddin de Celestis. It’s a compliation fic, but currently the author has been turning all of their older fics that they’re not working on into a single chapter and sticking them one by one in this one. [update, I even found that I’ve already made a page for them under Myrddin le Faye. The one fic, Mythical Night, will be added to the new page for them and the old page deleted.]

Of the original compliation fics, there were crossovers with Infamous (the Game about a man who’s given electrical powers), Battle Girls: Time Paradox (A young boy from our time ends up in an alternate past where there are only girls and he helps Nobunaga Oda) and A Certain Scientific Railgun (A Certain Magical Index side story focusing on Railgun). I’ll probably been working through them all of the coming week, so I’ll probably focus on each of such ‘chapters’ as their own fic (as they once were) and talk about them next time. Lol, it’ll be my ‘new’ quest!

The first one is starts at chapter 18 and is called Thunderbird of Ilvermorny and was a single chapter fic. It’s a HP fic sometime after the fall of Voldemort and Dahlia Evans goes to Ilvermorny in America. Doesn’t say much about who she is as it really only introduces the character. Hadn’t read this one before.

The other, and last one I’ll talk about today, was Star Class, a Harry Potter and Lyrical Nanoha crossover. It was a seven-chapter fic (that I had read before) where Harry and Ginny break free of their shackles (but not their multiple oblivations) and plan to die to in the Department of Mysteries. They end up far in the future and join an academy that trains to stop an invasion. They only briefly meet Fate and Nanoha, but it’s like in the six or seventh ‘chapter.’

These Fics Almost Made Me Give Up the Quest …

Hello everyone, it’s once again time for Matt’s Wheezing Waffle (thank you Harry Potter). I’ve continued rereading Honestly Harry – The Year of the Spares (and I forgot to mention that it does have some M rated scenes) and started rereading Gun Bunny. The new chapters this week are: Better Left Unsaid, Code Geass: The Prepared Rebellion V2, Heroes Assemble!, Raptor of the 20^th Ward (Thurs & Fri), Titanfall, The Healing Touch, Ranma: Happenstance Gone Right, Devil Ninja and Mauling Snarks.

I read a new fic I’d seen before, but hadn’t read called Cage by Racheakt. It’s a Worm fic where things are slightly different. Taylor’s Dad is dead instead of her Mom and it seems Legend and Hero also switched places in dying. Taylor triggers in the alley and is sent to an insane asylum. There she meets Burnscar and Labyrinth, how will things change with a Thinker Taylor?

Back to the quest, but it’s getting closer to the end as we’ve reached the longest year change between sakurademonalchemist’s fics. Last post we went through the fics last updated in 2010, but they didn’t write anything from Mar 2007 to Mar 2010. So, now we work on those fic of theirs posted before 2007; and I have to say, I’m glad their writing improved … Yeah, I had a lot of trouble getting through these, even though they have shorter chapters and also mostly unfinished. As I said, I almost gave up the quest, but I persevered (because I don’t give up!) [I’ve also just realized that I put the wrong link for Untainted Wings last post and on the archive. It has been fixed now.]

Once again ignoring the starters (first, second, next and all that jazz [name that movie!]), Deceptive Angels is a D.N.Angel fic that is crossed over with Trinity Blood. Satoshi and Daisuke end up in the Trinity Blood world and end up with the church. I don’t know much about Trinity Blood and the fic doesn’t make me want to know more (but then again it’s only three chapters long). Mentions of future Daisuke and Satoshi relationship, Don’t Like, Don’t Read.

From what I’ve looked up, in Trinity Blood is a light novel series turned manga and anime where humans went to Mars and discovered viruses that turned them into vampires and a few into ‘angels.’ There was an apocalyptic event on earth and the Mars people had to go back and repopulate it. It’s set 900 years later.

The evil twin scenario is a crossover between Whistle and The Prince of Tennis. Whistle is a manga turned anime about a boy named Sho who loves soccer. However because he is short and is not that great at it, he transfers to a different school as he couldn’t get on the team in the first one. It’s about his getting on the team and working to become the Ace of the team.

The Prince of Tennis (which got me interested in tennis, though I don’t play much and am not that good) is a manga turned anime about Ryoma Echizen, a talented young player who is just starting middle school and plans to join the team. He is thought of as an upstart until he proves his talent by getting on the main team his first year, a previously unheard of feat. It’s the story of him and his team trying to win the Nationals.

In the fic, Sho has a twin sister who is better at soccer than him. She runs away when he says she hates him and meets Ryoma. She’s dragged back to her home, but joins the tennis team instead of staying with soccer. She decides to go to the same school as Ryoma, but hide as a boy. Will Sho and her past catch up to her? Yeah, it’s complicated and everyone acts older than they are.

The girl he could never have is a D.N.Angel fic where a transfer student comes from America. She has no interest in Dark, though he does in her. She’s also more interested in Satoshi and Krad. A ten chapter, boring fic.

Dark’s evil dare is another D.N. Angel fic that went on for a long time (42 blessedly short chapters), but was also boring. Dark dares Krad to live as a normal human in class and helps get him a body to do that. Things get weird and there’s some personality switching, but it doesn’t make it much better as things get confusing. It’s supposedly finished, but it was kinda a stupid ending. Mentions of gay relationships, but not much. Don’t Like, Don’t Read.

A brother’s love is a short little four chapter story set in the Bleach universe. What happens? Rukia has a bad dream about Hollow rabbits and Ichigo’s Hollow and Byakuya comforts her. … Yeah, it’s four very short chapters that all could have been in one (I mean she calls it a one-shot, it should only be one chapter). Nothing happens other than comforting; it’s quite frankly one of the worst stories I’ve read on here (that actually has at least mostly good grammar. There are worst ones, believe me).

The Wolfbane Alchemist is a InuYasha and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover (though the InuYasha bit is really only the first chapter). Sesshomaru’s daughter gets reborn into the FMA world as Edward’s sister. This eventually makes her brother’s half-demons. Its eight chapters are mostly about controlling their powers and the main story in FMA is barely starting where it currently is.

Power of a Forgotten Heart is a D.N.Angel fic with a fictional past of the Niwa’s and Hikari’s. One of the Niwa’s is a female fortuneteller and many Hikari’s are sent to kill her. When one is sent who doesn’t believe in what the Hikari’s say, will he hurt her or help her? It’s finished, but goes off on tangents and doesn’t always make sense.

Gundam Fight is a crossover with Gundam Wing and SD Gundam characters ending up in the G Gundam universe and the Gundam fight. SD Gundam is a silly little anime about human sized Gundams based on the ones from original series. I really wouldn’t recommend it. Anyway, the eight chapters mostly has the SD Gundams getting beat up because the original Gundams don’t like them.

Yeah, that Super Bowl … A Bit of Let Down, Wasn’t It?

Hi friends, I don’t have much to report this weekend because of Kingdom Hearts 3, the Super Bowl and making the fanfiction archive. The Super Bowl was kinda a let down right? I mean, it was a game of many firsts for a Super Bowl, but I’m not sure ‘lowest scoring game’ is one that either team wanted. Some of the commercials were interesting but last years were better and the Half-time show was okay, but not the greatest especially with all the bleeping. In other news, the fanfiction archive is growing, but it’s not done yet.

Kingdom Hearts 3, is an awesome game. I’ve done most of the worlds shown in trailers: Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, Toy Story, Frozen, Monster’s Inc. and Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Big Hero 6 is next and we’ll find out where we go from there. There are a lot of cut-scenes in-between worlds cause there’re just so many characters to follow. I’ll really looking forward to where this all is leading!

Story-wise, I continued reading Dodging Prison and Stealing Witches – Revenge is Best Served Cold and started rereading Harry Potter and the Stargate. The new chapters for this weekend are: Relic of the Future, Seerking’s Asylum, Hive Daughter, The Unseen Hunt, Tsunami and Mauling Snarks..

I started reading the sequel to the Danger-verse story I mentioned last time by whydoyouneedtoknow called, Living Without Danger. It follows Harry and the Pack throughout their first two years at Hogwarts and their adventures without Danger around. It’s good and looking forward to the rest.

I also got a updated for a story I haven’t mentioned yet, called Peace through Power by Vherstinae. It’s a Command & Conquer (Game) and Worm Crossover where Taylor finds a journal of her mother’s time under Lustrum and finds the phrase ‘Peace Through Power.’ She uses this and her mother’s powerful family to free herself from Winslow and the story goes on from there. It’s only nine chapters so far, but it’s interesting.

Finally, I started reading a Harry Potter and Stargate SG-1 crossover called Harry Potter and The Chance at a New Life by kossboss. It has the basilisk bite weakening the soul piece in Harry’s head after second year, allowing Harry to take all the memories and destroy it. Using them and looking over his life, he decides to take all he can and go through the unlocked ‘Veil of Death’ to an alternate reality. He ends up in room with the Quantum Mirror (before SG-1 gets there). Watch how his presence changes things! I haven’t finished, but it looks like its still going!

It’s a Week to KH3!

Hey everyone! It’s been an fun weekend. No polls and I haven’t had time to work on getting the list of fanfic I’ve mentioned up yet, still figuring out how I want to do it. In PoGo news, I got a shiny Feebas on Saturday’s event but no one on my town’s chat can find this month’s Spinda task. Anyway, I continued with Taylor Varga and Drifting, along with starting to rereading Demonic Jewels and catching up with Titanfall (Fanfic). I also watched Back Cover and Kingdom Hearts 0.2, so I am completely ready for KH3 a week from now! This weekend’s new chapters were: The Gamer (Webcomic), Breaking the Guilded Cage, Angels and Demons, Relic of the Future, An Essence of Silver and Steel, Taylor Varga Omake (Sat, Sun, Mon), Headstart, Warlock, Price of Blood, The Unseen Hunt, Gun Bunny and Mauling Snarks. I also learned I need to catch up with Ashes of the Past cause it had the battle the whole fic has been leading up to in a few chapters update (not that it’s finished, just that the original point of having gone back is done).

I actually read a few new stories this weekend, so get ready, cause here they come! First is ‘Hive Daughter’ by PlateGlassArmour. It’s a Worm fic with a slight Warhammer 40,000 crossover. It has Taylor connecting to their Hive mind when she Triggers and learning how they do what they do. Next is ‘Teeth and Claws’ by TheShadowSwan. It’s a Harry Potter and KHR crossover with a fem. Harry. She has multiple personalities to deal with different parts of her life and eventually ends up with one called ‘Skull de Mort.’ She is called to the table of greatest because of another personality who was The Greatest Thief, Noir. Then, there was ‘Marvel’s Maelstrom’ by Pibbinator. It’s a Naruto and MCU crossover that has Naruto being transported to save him by Sasuke during the battle against Kaguya. He ends up landing near Kamar-Taj and the Ancient One takes him in and helps him. He wants to get back to help his friends, but can’t find out how to do it. On to more sakurademonalchemist, the first is on that is only on AO3, ‘Transcending Time and Space.’ It’s another crossover between Harry Potter and KHR and has fem. Harry being Fran from the future timeline. She gets her memories back early and leaves after her OWLS to join the Varia. After that is ‘An Angel and a Trickster,’ which is a Supernatural and Harry Potter crossover. In it, fem. Harry is depressed for her fifth year when Gred and Forge summon Loki to the castle to take care of Umbridge. Loki takes a liking to her and decides to make a deal that if he can make her happy again, she’ll go out with him. Can he win the bet or will things come crumbling down. Third is ‘Shattered Mask’ a crossover between Naruto and MCU. When the council tries to screw her over after the War, Fem Naruto takes the other Bijuu and vessels out of the Elemental Countries. They scatter, but she ends up on Asgard as a bar maid. There she meets Thor, Loki and friends. The only one she can tolerate is Loki and she decides to help him out. Fourth is ‘Crimson Typhoon,’ which is a One Piece and Naruto. Kushina’s dad is Shanks and he picks up Fem. Naruto after his parents are killed. Fifth is ‘Hidden Song,’ another Harry Potter and Supernatural crossover. This time though, Harry is Bobby (more aged for reasons). Sixth (and last that I’ve read currently of their fics) is ‘Kitsune Otome,’ which is a Mai HIME (Mai OTOME) crossover. In the battle between Sasuke and Fem. Naruto when the former is defecting, a portal is accidentally opened and she ends up in the world of Mai OTOME. She trains to become an Otome until she can go home. Moving On, I also watched “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.” The anime is only 16 episodes long now, but the web novel (turned light novel) is finished. After watching all the episodes, I started reading the web novel. Anyway, it’s about an almost 40 salary worker who saves his junior from being stabbed and gets killed. He ends up reincarnated in another world as a slime, but a powerful one. I haven’t finished it yet (by a long shot), but it’s interesting.

No Votes on My Poll

So, my very few readers, it is once again time for me to write my babble that you decide to read. After 2 weeks of the poll existing and no one voting, I have decided to follow what my friend said and just continue with the new style of posts. I have another idea that I would make another poll about, if I actually thought anyone would vote on it. At some point over the next few weeks, I’ll make a page that will have the links to the fanfictions I’ve posted about. I plan to update them the week after I mention them from now on. So, intrepid readers, look forward to that.

I’ve mostly continued to reread Harry Potter and the Daft Morons (which will hopefully be finished soon), but I’ve also finished watching Skyward Wing play through Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and watched the Back Cover video from the 2.8 game collection. All that’s left to prepare myself for Kingdom Hearts 3 on the 29^th is to what Kingdom Hearts 0.2. I also watched the translated missions 851-855 from the Japanese version of KHUx. In it, Marluxia’s somebody, Lauriam’s looking for his sister (Strelitza) through her teammate Elrena, who is Larxene’s somebody. We still don’t know who the somebodies for Luxord or Demyz are. Also the opening theme for KH3 is now available on iTunes. Search for Face My Fears by Hikaru Utada.

The new chapters for the week are: Reality Bites Worm, Service with a Smile, Worm – Justice for All, Breaking the Guilded Cage (Tues, Thur, Fri), Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Omake), Tsunami, Taylor Varga Omake (Wed, Fri), Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub, Ashes to Flames, Devil Ninja and Mauling Snarks. I also started on a few new interesting stories.

The first of these is ‘Drifting’ by AlphaDelta1001. It’s a Naruto fic that has Naruto being a badass and learning how to fight from animals. It’s a harem fic that has at least 7 girls. It has 52 chapters out, but I’m only on chapter 28 now. It’s interesting because it’s a Chunin Exam in another country (instead of in Konoha like it always is). It even has all of the Kages there. Next is a fic that came from a short by Seerking that another took over called, ‘The Rising of the Shield Heroine,’ by Tale Swapper. It’s a Worm and Rising of a Shield Hero crossover. It has Taylor getting the shield from the second story as her power. Queen Administrator gets her own body and is in charge of the ‘Halp’ system. Now it’s time for (you guessed it) more new sakurademonalchemist fics I’ve read. I’ll start off with the newest one (meaning it came out this month), ‘Angels and Demons.’ It’s a Harry Potter and Final Fantasy 7 crossover, where female Harry is a Sephiroth look-a-like who was summoned via the Lifestream by Death Eaters. She gets back to her original home after fifth year and becomes a Monster Hunter and eventually runs into the SOLIDERS. Returning to their unupdated fics from 2014, the first one is ‘Hunter’ and it’s sequel ‘Walker.’ It’s a Supernatural and Harry Potter crossover that has Vernon and Dudley getting killed by a Wendigo when Harry was young. This leads him to become a ‘research monkey’ for the Hunters. He gets along with Loki and eventually leaves Hogwarts to help hunters. In the sequel, he gets stuck in the past helping fix things, just 135 before he gets back home. Following that is ‘Angel’s Horn,’ which is a Supernatural and Magical Nanoha crossover. It has Hayate being Dean’s daughter and see goes looking for him after her two minders leave her alone. The brother’s find a demon in the ‘Book of Darkness’ and excise it, leading to the Guardians to be released. And how is connected to Loki? A sakurademonalchemist Week (with still no votes on my poll)

Well intrepid readers (the few of you there are), there has still not been any votes on my poll. I asked a friend her opinion and since that is the only one I’ve heard so far, if no one votes then I’ll go by her decision. I just started classes that happen on Thursday night and am thinking of changing my posting dates if it doesn’t work out having them on the same day. Moving to the point of this blog, I read so more Taylor Varga. The new chapters this week are: Reality Bites Worm, Archer, Breaking the Gilded Cage (Wed & Thurs), Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Omake), The Gamer (Webcomic), Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub and GATE: Thus the Chosen One Fought There.

The only series I read these past few days that wasn’t Taylor Varga or a sakura(youknowtherest) fic was ‘Mythical Night’ by Myrddin le Faye (not their original screen name, but they’ve changed it several times). It’s a Naruto and Arrow (though it’s mostly DC universe now) crossover where the Kyubi convinces Naruto that it’s better to become a ‘hero’ than to be a ninja. Thus he becomes the ‘Arrow’ of Konoha (the recent TV series version) and soon many others join him taking the names of DC universe heroes and villains.

As indicated last paragraph, the rest of the fanfics are by sakurademonalchemist. The first one is ‘Moon’s Blessing’ which is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Ouran High School Host Club. Ouran High School Host Club is a manga turned anime about a host club a rich private high school (aka a club where girls can bewooed by good looking men for money, though this one is a rich kid version with no kissing or more). When the scholarship student Haruhi Fujioka accidentally breaks an expensive vase she is drafted into the host club, because the club thinks she’s a guy at first. Watch as she pretends to be a boy as she works with her friends at the host club and help them become better people, just by being around. It’s a good anime and manga with a catchy opening theme.

The fic has Usagi being the sister of the main male character, Tamaka Sou, who has stayed at her aunts because another uncle was ‘interested’ (and not in a good way). When said uncle passes away, Usagi transfers away to Ouran to be with her brother. Watch as an accidental change of birth leads to large changes. The second story was ‘Blood for Blood’ which is a Naruto and Hellsing crossover. Hellsing is about the vampire Alucard who works with the Hellsing Organization to keep his fellow vampires in line in England. Watch him and his newly made partner Seras (a former police woman who he had to kill during his first job and brought her back) take on all comers from vampires, to priests, to Nazis. The manga and the second anime version (Hellsing Ultimate) are the better ones. The originals not bad, just not as good (in my opinion).

This fic is set far in the future of Hellsing where centuries have passed. When the ninja villages were founded Alucard went on a killing spree and he and Seras were sealed near Konoha. When fem Naruto finds out about them early in life, she goes and releases them. They take form as her age and join the class. Next, I read “Forgotten Angel’ which is a Harry Potter, Supernatural and Constantine crossover. Constantine is about John Constantine, a demon hunter who joins up with a police woman who is investigating her twin’s death. Getting mixed up with angels and demons they seek to find their own peace. It’s based on the DC Comic character.

In the fic, Harry is not slated to live much past birth, so Castiel is sent to take his place and kill Voldemort. However, when he is hit with the killing curse, he forgets all his memories and as no-one in Heaven really cares about him he lives his life as ‘Harry.’ It follows the same sad story until it is found that ‘Harry’ can see the demons that pretend to be people. He ends up living in a church, renamed Cas Sheilds, and the ‘younger brother of John Constantine. Watch as this ‘Harry’ goes to Hogwarts and upsets the apple cart. After that it was ‘Tricksters and Gods’ and it’s sequel, ‘Pagans and Angels.’ Tricksters and Gods is a Harry Potter and MCU crossover. After the events of the first Avengers movie, Loki is banished into human form until he is deemed worthy of returning to Asgard. The spell goes slightly wrong and Loki ends up in Harry Potter. After the curse on Halloween, it’s mostly Loki, with some Harry, that survives (without his memories). Watch as Loki lives as Harry Potter and decides to not take the Magical World’s crap. Then there was ‘Shifting Foxes’ (the only one of the sakura fics I haven’t read before) which is a Naruto and Pokémon crossover. It has Naruto happening after an event that shifted the planets plates and had the Pokémon disappearing for two decades. Now only ninjas are allowed to have Pokémon. Naruto finds an eevee when he’s young that has been experimented on that allows it to change back and forth between all of it’s evolutions except for the original three. I Changed the Archive and Made a Poll (Please Vote!)

Hey everyone! It’s been a week and no one has liked (or really read) any or the posts since I started this style of writing. Therefore, I made a poll that I’ll put a link to at the beginning of the post for the next week while I continue with this style. I’ve also redone the archive section like I mentioned last time. The only direct chapter links in the Archive will be from the current month. When we get to February, I’ll move the January post links to a January page and put a link to it in Archive. When 2019 ends (and I hopefully will still be posting and have more people reading my posts), I’ll do what I did with my 2018 posts and move the month links to a new 2019 page that will be linked on the main Archive page.

These past few days I’ve read some more of Outfoxed and Lord Over the Night Sky and started rereading Prime Directive: Hero, How Eating a Strange Fruit Gave Me My Quirk and Taylor Varga. The new chapters were from: Tsunami, Service with a Smile, Reality Bites Worm, My Hero Academia (manga chapter), It’s in the Cards, Heroes Assemble!, Taylor Varga and Death March (the online story).

Since I liked the fanfic Archer from last post, I decided to look into other stories by the author Fencer22. The first one that caught my eye was ‘Flames’ which is a Worm and KHR crossover. The only real crossover is that Taylor triggers with Dying Will flames, but not Sky. Instead of the normal Taylor’s outlook of becoming a Hero, this Taylor is more practical and wants money to prepare for the imminent end of the world (and explains why she thinks so). The other one I found interesting was ‘Grind,’ which is a Worm and multiple crossover fic. It has Taylor triggering with the power to enter any type of story (Book, DVD or game) and gain the power(s) of whatever characters she or anyone she brings along play as. The only issue, they have to go through the whole story. For example, when she goes into the first book, she’s stuck ‘reading’ the book and doing whatever the main character does for four hours until the end of it, basically outing herself. It’s a good story, sadly the author decided they could not write it anymore and just posted a spattering of scenes leading up to an ‘ending’ for the last chapter. Next, sakurademonalchemist posted a new story called, ‘Breaking the Gilded Cage.’ It’s a KHR and Natsume’s Book of Friends crossover, with a female Tsuna turning back time to her younger self to get away from the Vongola and instead taking the route of Takashi from Natsume’s Book of Friends. It’s only two chapters long so far, but it’s not bad. Kinda hard to make a decision about how a story will be in two chapters. Following that I found the fic ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R-eset’ by Starlight’s Poet. It’s a Lelouch of the Rebellion story with side stories like Code Geass: Akito of the Exiled and game storylines included. It starts off with Lelouch getting the chance to relive his rebellion from the start and him taking it. He’s more powerful this time and knows what happened to his mother, so he can focus on taking down Britannia. The story is interesting and I haven’t finished it yet up to the current chapter yet, so I hope it continues to be so. Finally, I started rereading ‘Neo Yondaime Hokage’ by Psycho G. The story is a Naruto one where Minato not only seals the Kyuubi into Naruto; he also seals himself. Naruto grows up as Tsunade’s ‘son’ and soon finds multiple women after him. But, just because he is stronger doesn’t mean he’ll bulldoze through fights. He still will have issues, just different ones than the normal ones. He even accidentally visits the ‘canon’ universe and changes things for the better! Going back to more of what I watched during my ‘Christmas break from blogging’ (I’ll be doing one or two movies/shows for the next few posts because I watched a lot during that time period) I watched “The Mummy Returns” from the Mummy series. I’ve seen it and the rest of the series before, but I always enjoy rewatching them. Watching Rick and Evelyn O’Conner battle it out against Imhotep while trying to save their son is great. I was sad Evelyn didn’t return for the third movie, but it was good anyway. Not sure which one is my favorite, though the third one was probably my least favorite. I would recommend any of them though if you haven’t watched them yet!

To finish it off, I watched “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.” I would have liked it better if I had read the story before hand, but it was what was decided to watch at that time. I found it interesting, even if I missed the first part. I’ll probably read the books sometime, but I think I’ll like the books better because it looks like they just crammed the second book at least into the last 30 mins of the movie.

Happy 2019!

Happy New Year! So this on this last weekend of the year 2018, I actually have less than normal because I had work today and Friday. I finished rereading Light the Blue Touch Paper and Run Like Hell and Harry Potter and the Dark Lady. The new chapters this weekend were: Ashes to Flame, Mauling Snarks (Fri & Mon), Relic of the Future, Gun Bunny, 4 chapters of An Essence of Silver and Steel, Reading Chronicles Book 1: To the Victor, the Spoils, Heroes Assemble!, The Unseen Hunt, and Deku: The Telekenetic Hero.

Again, I’ll start with the fanfiction and movie to TV shows and movies after that. The first one I’ll talk about is ‘Lord Over the Night Sky’ by Triser. It’s a Harry Potter and Lyrical Nanoha crossover where Vernon takes Harry to Japan when they first get him and drop him off at an orphanage. Harry ends up with Hayate and gets the ‘Book of Darkness’ instead of her. Things change and do so even more when Harry (and the others) gets his letter to Hogwarts. The chapters are shorter and the spelling is sometimes off, but it’s good otherwise. I’ve only reread 17 chapters of the 114, but this is also the first of several stories in the storyline. Next is ‘Outfoxed’ by hazeleyes180. It’s a Naruto fic where a female Kyuubi trains Naruto after things happen when he’s younger. It’s a harem fic for Naruto with girls like Hinata and Anko. He gets stronger fast, but it doesn’t mean things are easier for him. There’re no R Rated things, but they do skirt around it. The unfortunate thing is that it hasn’t been updated since August 2016. Following that is the (current) last story in the Witches Secret triology, ‘Harry Potter and the Corvinus Strain.’ The story is mostly on the Witches Secret fanfiction story, it’s just missing the last two chapters. These last two can be found on the Yahoo group Rotaryfile. It mixes strongly with Underworld series. As I haven’t watched it, I can’t say anything about how the author portrays it. It’s interesting, but there’s really no one who can stop Harry in the story.

Then there was ‘Archer’ by Fencer22. It’s a Worm and Fate/Stay Night crossover where Taylor gets Archer (Counter Guardian EMIYA) as her powers, with him teaching her how to use them. She’s put under Master/Stranger protocols immediately and has to deal with them for a while. There were eight chapters when I read it, but a new chapter came out today. I also read another new story by Selector called, ‘Titanfall.’ It’s a Titanfall and Worm crossover, with Taylor calling a Titan with an AI when she Triggers. It’s interesting, but only 4 chapters so far. Again, never played Titanfall, so I can’t comment on it. Taylor’s been out all four chapters, so it will be fun once she’s up. I haven’t watched anything this weekend, but I never finished what I saw last week. The first I’ll mention is “Meet the Robinsons.” I really like this movie and the music in it. It’s about a child inventor, Lewis, who thinks he’ll never amount to anything and how a young boy, Wilber, from the future works to change his mind. It’s has a good theme of never give up and to ‘Keep Moving Forward.’ This is a great movie for all ages.

I also watched “Kubo of the Two Strings” for the first time. It was a great movie, but a sad one. I was called to help with something for the last scene, but luckly I have it here at home and was able to finish it recently. It was a different kind of animation, but it wasn’t bad. Also a great movie for all ages.

I watched part one episode of “Love It of List It” on HGTV. It was okay. The wife was kinda, I don’t really want to stay here, but I think any of the ones I’m being shown are right either. I didn’t see the end, but hopefully they found what they wanted.

I also watched a few episodes of ‘Property Brothers’ (yeah, there were a lot of building/buy house shows on, I know). It was interesting, but there a lot of issues and the main episode I saw had rich kids buying their first house and calling daddy for extra money of unnecessary additions. So, I’d have to see more to really get an opinion.
