Hello again, readers. I’m sorry this is late. As I write this on Sunday, I know this because I’m trying to get a better sleep cycle. I’ve been waking up during the night and not sleeping well again, so I decided to follow some suggestions that I looked up and leave screens off for around an hour before I go to sleep. As I usually write most of this right before bed, I need to start writing this earlier. I would have today, but I went and saw Back To The Future: The Musical and that took up a lot of my Sunday afternoon combined with travel time, dinner and food shopping.
My listening changes are as thus – first I finished Reborn as a Space Mercenary vol 14 and am now listening to Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! Vol 1By FUNA. This one is actually on the quest list but is under Mile because that’s the name the webnovel I original got it from had at the start of the title. I started it on Audible because this one just came out on it. It’s about a school genius who dies right after high school graduation saving a little girl. It turns out that girl will do something great in the future and God wants to reincarnate her with powers as a thank you. However, she’s already seen the bad side of having power and tells him she wants to be average in her new life. God grants her wish, but makes it so that she’s average compared to everything that lives on the new world. Watch as this ditsy girl does her best to life an average life (and fails).
I also finished Harry Potter and the Chance at a New Life and I decided to relisten to my one of my favorite fics, Black Sky by Umei no Mai. It’s the first fanfiction I mention on this Blog and I listen to it often. It’s a Harry Potter and KHR crossover with a female Harry who’s actually Sirius’ daughter. It follows her as she goes through her life at Hogwarts and onto meeting and interacting with the KHR characters starting in her fifth year. It currently has 343 chapters and was sadly last updated in 2024. Looking forward to it being updated at some point.
And now, onto the quest: first is Flames of the Black Cat by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a KHR and Black Cat crossover that I first mentioned here. It has Train (the MC of Black Cat) reborn as a female Tsuna. She quickly figures out that things would be bad if she stays at her house, so she becomes a hitman. She affects the Vongola without really trying and finds some fellow reincarnates. It has 12 chapters and was last updated in 2018.
Second is Flames of the Creed by sakurademonalchemist. This one is a KHR and Assassin’s Creed crossover that I first mentioned here. Tsuna is from an Assassin bloodline but is sealed due to a Templar plot. Assassins find him, release the seal and train him. Now that he’s been tagged to be the 10th boss of the Vongola, he has to get rid of the rot of the Templars infecting their investigative branch. It’s 9 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2018.
Third is Flames of the Night Sky by sakurademonalchemist. This one is a KHR and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha crossover that I first mentioned here. Tsuna’s mom dies and they can’t contact his dad. So, he is adopted by the Takamichis and grows up with Nanoha. He gets caught up in the events of Lyrical Nanoha and gets his own device. They also run into Xansus and his crew. It’s an interesting 12 chapters but it also has not been updated since 2018.
Fourth is Float With Me – 1st Semester by FifthDancer. This is a MHA fic where Izuku gets a different power first from One-For-All. Instead of Stockpile and its energy, he gets Nana’s quirk, Float. This changes things quite a bit. It’s a Izuku/Ochaco fic, but with many other ships. This one is complete and goes through the Finals of the first semester.
Fifth and final is the first sequel to the previous fic (and the only one I’ll mention as the rest weren’t available when I started this quest) Float With Me: TWO HEROES by FifthDancer. This is this stories version of the first movie – Two Heroes. Izuku and the gang go to I-Island, what could go wrong. This is complete and has two sequels (though the 2nd one hasn’t been updated in a while).
