Can’t Think of a Title (2025)

Hello readers, it’s been another week. It was mostly a quiet week and I focused on reading for the quest and finishing Digimon: Time Stranger. I’m on track to finish the side story S’s this month. Lol, I’m not sure I’ll even finish the last main S story this year as I have around 30 cycles left to finish it (based on my calculations). And I still have around 65 Digimon left to get and one more side quest on Time Stranger. I’m AFK leveling right now to get some up to Digivolve.

Now for listening changes, I finished That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime Vol 1 and started By the Grace of the Gods Vol 5. In it, Ryoma has learned that there’s a festival coming up in his town. He and begin to prepare for it and end up more involved than he originally thought. He also goes on a hunt, but all isn’t as it seems.

I also finished Fate: Hammer Time by TedTheRabbit or rather all the chapters I had on my text-to-speech app. There’s 8 chapters I still need to catch up on currently. Then I quickly went through Yo-Ho Yo-Ho An Ashikabi’s Life for Me by Quatermass. It’s a Sekirei and Pirates of the Caribbean crossover I’ve mentioned before here. Jack is reborn as the MC Minato. He writes his story as books and becomes a famous author. Watch how he changes the Sekirei story. Sadly, unfinished and only has 13 real chapters.

After I finished that, I decided to read Usagi’s Struggles by Serena530. It’s a Sailor Moon AU set during the first season. During the hunt for the rainbow crystals, Usagi is condemned by the other senshi for her conduct normally and as a senshi. She quits and then becomes sick. This is the story of her learning her real destiny. It’s Usagi/Mamoru and don’t read if you like Rei/Mars. It’s finished with 22 chapters and even has a periodically updating sequel!

Onto the quest, first is Code Geass: Roar of the Rebellion by RyoshiMorino. This is a Code Geass and Zoids crossover that I mentioned here. I didn’t mention much about the story when I first talked about it, so I’ll do it now. Lelouch takes over as Zero during the Shinjuko Massacre, but he brings in his own units instead of stealing them – the Zoids. Turns out the Ashfords had some up with them before their fall, but didn’t have time to do anything with them. Lelouch uses this resource to help in his rebellion. It hasn’t been updated since 2018, so we might just have to be happy with the 27 chapters posted.

Second is Code Geass: The Prepared Rebellion V2 by SeerKing. It’s a Code Geass AU fic I’ve mentioned before here. Lelouch figures out early that he needs to get in shape if he wants to overthrow his father. This changes many things, including getting him a harem. [Content Warning] As I mentioned the first time I mentioned it, there are sex scenes in it. but most of these are in the AO3 site [Content Warning] It currently has 59 chapters (including interludes) and is updated on a schedule (which means mostly once or twice a year. He has quite a few fics going on right now).

Third is Code Geass: The Rise of the Black Prince by nanoman79. This is another Code Geass fic, with a twist that I’ve mentioned before here. In it, Marianne, the mother of Lelouch and Nunnally doesn’t die and this changes everything. Lelouch stays in Britannia and Nunnally isn’t crippled. This doesn’t mean things don’t still happen, it’s just that the Japanese invasion is Lelouch and his siblings coming to visit. It completed with 107 chapters, but the sequel is not likely to be updated.

Fourth is Collateral Damage by ack1308. This is a Worm AU where Danny, Taylor’s father, is a very dangerous cape that’s been retired. When Taylor triggers she gets similar power and she and her father take out their anger on those who should have known better. It’s unfinished with 9 chapters since early last year.

Fifth is Collector Hero: Synthesis by Kairomaru. I recently mention this one here so I’ll skip the description. So, Sixth is Coming Home to Us by jojor99. This one is a Harry Potter one-shot. In it, Ginny isn’t giving Harry the chance to really talk and seems to avoid him. He decides to prove he wants her back. It’s a cute little story.

Seventh and last is Coming of Age by Siriuslives5. It’s another Harry Potter fic but focusing on Ginny during the seventh book. Watch as Ginny goes through Hogwarts controlled by Death Eaters. Sadly, unfinished with 6 chapters since 2005.

Nothing more for this week. Wait, I forgot to mention I got a necklace with Aqua’s wayfinder on it. I’ve been trying to get a wayfinder for a while and it’s great! Hope the lead up to the holidays goes well for everyone. May Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key!

Hello … It’s me again, again.

To anyone who’s still reading this, I have returned once again. Not so long of a break, but it’s not like I wasn’t writing. I’ve been slowly working on my own fanfiction, but I’ve currently paused writing chapters as I plot out some things. But more on that later.

So, Matt, what have you been doing since we last saw you? Well, many things. I mentioned how I was in a temp position higher up in my company, well I’m no longer in it. Not too long after the last post, my co-worker who was in the same position as me in my official position quit. So, I had to go back and do that job again, while doing what I could of the other position. When I heard that my somewhat former temp position was becoming permanent and accepting applications, I of course applied. Only to be denied and told my previous experience wasn’t enough and that someone else had a better interview.

Needless to say, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about that. Especially that my pay was brought down to a little more than previous levels. This is the fourth time I’ve tried to move up in the company since I joined officially a few months over three years ago and been told no. Three times to the IT department and this one in my own department. It doesn’t make me feel good about myself and being told by the upper echelons of my department that they appreciate me and what I do doesn’t mean much. It’s your actions not your words that matter.

I understand what they said I could have done better in my interview. However, understanding doesn’t mean I have to like or accept it. I think I’ve done a good job in my life of seeing both sides of the story, so I do understand, I just wish that years of work (including one in that position) meant more or that the interview wasn’t so highly weighted. Just because I can see parts of both sides doesn’t mean I agree with both or either. The recent election being one example. This is the only thing I am going to say about it. I am not a member of either party because quite frankly I think both sides have too much hate, propaganda, and disunity. Did I vote? Yes, because it was my right. Am I going to say on this blog which way I voted? Hell no. Topic closed; I will not discuss it again. If you leave a comment or message me about it, I will find out how to ban your email from interacting on the blog again. I don’t need that argument on my blog.

Moving on, for the job, I’m still going to stay and work where I am. I’m working on relearning Spanish because it’s prevalent where I live and it might help. Does it mean that I’m not going to leave if things stay the way they are? That’s for the future.

As I was saying last time, I’m working on one of my famous (infamous?) quests and I plan to finish this one. Though it‘ll be a while before it’s complete. It’s been a few years and I’m only in the middle of the stories starting with L on the reading list and I’m finished with the listening list. That doesn’t mean I’m not still listening to stories/fanfiction.

The one i’m listening to at the moment in my rotation is Code Geass: The Prepared Rebellion V2 by Seerking. I’ve talked about it before here, but it’s still good and been updated recently! The next is an audio book of the Japanese light novel – Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing by Hamuo (no link because I was listening to the official audiobook). It’s a fun story about a gamer who wanted a harder game and ended up reincarnated as a Summoner in another world. But things aren’t easy because he has to work 100 times harder than others to level up because he’s in Hell Mode. There are 7 volumes out in the US and I’m re-listening to volume 2.

Next is Harry Potter and the Daft Morons by Sinyk. And old classic I like to reread and is sadly still uncompleted. I talked about it several times, but never really described it. It’s an evil Dumbles story where Harry uses the first task to show most of wizarding Britain how they are Daft Morons and start the take down of the leaders of the light and dark. It’s a Harry/Hermione/Daphne/Fleur story for those that are interested.

Following that is an amusing light novel series called Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life! By FUNA (again no link because I was reading the official release). A senior high school girl saves the life of a child who will do great things in the future at the cost of her life. As a reward the God watching over the child sends her to another world with anything she wants. After seeing how being exceptional leads her life to be in her previous life, she only asks to be average. The God agrees, but instead of average by human standards, he does it in average of all life on her new world. With ‘average’ abilities and her lack of common sense, this is a hilarious story. There are 18 volumes available in the US. I’m re-listening to volume 6. It’s not an actual audio book though, just the pdfs in voice dream.

Next is Mauling Snarks by CmptrWz. It’s completed and still really amusing and interesting as all of CmptrWz’s stories are. I’ve talked about it previously here. Next is History’s Strongest Disciple Again? By azndrgn. One of the few Kenichi fanfics I’ve read and I beta read this one! I talked about it previously here. Finally, the last on the rotation is the translated web novel for Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody. This is another isekai story about a game designer who ends up in another world with cheat abilities and has no idea how he got there or de-aged. I plan to read the light novel version after to compare them. I’m re-listening to ‘Chapter’ 14 of 18. I put it in quotation marks because each chapter has many parts in it. For example, Chapter 14 has 47 parts, 4 intermissions and a side story. It also has a one season anime.

You may say, but Matt, why do you have so many in your rotation? Because I like making things harder on myself? Heck if I know, things kept building up and that’s how it is.

To continue on about the reading/listening list, next one in the A’s was a Harry Potter one-shot. Let me leave a warning before the title, this is a smut fic. It’s a three-some between Harry, Ginny and Luna. It’s rated M for a reason. It’s called A Birthday Surprise by Epeefencer. The main reason it’s even on here is because I’ve put all of Epeefencer’s works on Voice Dream.

The following one, I had to start with a story farther down the list because it’s a sequel. I’ve talked about the first three in the series before: it’s The Last Mage of Krypton series by TheBeardedOne. I had to listen (because these are ones I listened to) the first one The Last Mage of Krypton and the second one Rising from the Shadows and the third one A Distant Storm before I got to the last one and the one I was aiming for. I previously talked about all three here.

The last one of this series is A Challenge Unexpected. It’s an interesting ending to the series with the potential to continue if he or someone else wants to. Harry of course ends up in the Triwizard Tournament, but with Riddle, Grindelwald and their lackies out there and Draco to be his Luthor; what will happen?

Then there’s A Christmas Surprise by Artist 111. I actually found this one because of the author’s other story, which will be talked about at a later point. It’s a cute little Harry Potter two-shot about Harry and Ginny’s first pregnancy and a slight reuniting with relatives. Worth a read.

Followed by A Cry For Help by Epeefencer. This is also a Harry Potter one-shot, but is not anything like the previous one by this author. It’s a cute little hurt/comfort short about Harry going to McGonagall about why he doesn’t want to go back to his relatives. There’s a small amount of Harry/Ginny, but it’s just the first real meeting between the two. Fun little fic.

The last one I’ll talk about now is one of ack1308’s newer stories, A Darker Path. It’s a Worm fanfic about Taylor getting a different power set when she Triggers. This time is Path to Ending. It’s kind of like Path to Victory, but about finishing something. This can be used to make sure someone/something dies or kills their villain career. Far warning, there is lots of character death, but it’s still within the T rating. Still updates occasionally.

For the Manga Club I’m in, we next added Perfect World by Aruga Rie, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku by Fujita and Kaguya-sama: Love is War by Aka Akasaka. These were added by female members that were at the first meeting and never showed up again. Me, being a bibliophile, obviously read them (though I’m still the only one who’s reading all the books on the list), but I kept it to the book we were on.

Perfect World is about Tsugumi Kawana who meets her high school crush Itsuki Ayukawa at her job. However, things have changed drastically for him as he’s now in a wheelchair do to a spinal cord injury from an accident. It’s a love story about two people dealing with their physical and emotional issues. I’ve only read the first two volumes (because it was dropped as I was the only one reading it), but it’s interesting and I’ll pick it up again sometime.

Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku is also set in the workplace and Narumi and Hirotaka are childhood friends. However, they’re both different types of otaku (nerds). She loves gay manga and he’s a gamer. She’s trying to hide it because she keeps getting rejected whenever friends and boyfriends find out. This is their and their friend’s love story. A good read. The club dropped it after book 4, for the same reason, but I finished it as it only had 6 volumes.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is another love story, but this time between the president and vice-president of the high school student counsel of a very highly rated school. The male lead, Miyuki Shirogane is from a poor background, but is always on the top of mock tests. The female lead, Kaguya Shinomiya, is from a wealthy house and competes with him. They both like each other, but refuse to be the first one to share it, because Love is War. Most chapters are styled as a ‘fight’ with a winner told at the end of each one. This is very amusing in the anime as well. It’s finished in Japan, but all the volumes aren’t in the US yet. We dropped this one much later (we got to the 7th volume), again for the same reason (though the main other person reading it just stopped). We added more after that, but that’s for next time.

It’s finally time to talk about what I mentioned at the beginning, my fanfic. It’s an MHA and Cardcaptor Sakura crossover. I’ve read a few (and they’ll be talked about in my quest), but all of them are unfinished and not currently updating. I liked the concept and decided to try it myself, several years ago. However, I got busy and didn’t do anything with it for a while. However, the same group that has the manga club has a creators meeting that has recently been meeting weekly. I’ve been going when I can and working on it. I have 4 or so chapters, but like I said I’ve paused to write the order in which he captures the cards and an outline of how he does. I’m going to do that with most if not all of the cards, then I’ll go back and flush it out.

I’m not going to explain much other than at least the main cast of Cardcaptor Sakura will also be in it even if it’s set in the MHA universe and Izuku is the new cardcaptor. When I’ve got 10 chapters and the base for the rest of the first part (capturing the cards), then I’ll post it. When, not if, I do this, you’ll be the first to know.

Finally, games! Still waiting on information on either of the Kingdom Hearts’ games. Missing Link should have been out already, but there’s been no information for months. I’m looking forward to Pokemon Legends Z-A, but that’s not until next year. I’ve gotten Dragon Ball Z: Sparkling Zero and it’s been fun. Not been focused on it, but I’ve gotten through the first part of Super with all characters, but haven’t done most of the AU stories.

I’m Back (and I Completed the First Part of the Current Quest)

I finally went to go see Toy Story 4 yesterday and it was as good as I imagined.  Bo Peep showed up and we learned why she left the movies originally.  The movie also brought up the question of what really counts as a toy with Forky who was made from trash and wanted to go back into it.  It also covered how toys feel about just being left on a shelf forever.  Buzz’s ‘inner voice’ was funny.

There wasn’t really a ‘bad guy’ in the movie.  Even the toy who was in the role had her reasons and got an owner.  Woody made the decision to stay with Andy instead of going with Bo Peep, but since Bonnie didn’t need him he made the opposite decision.  It’s a great movie and I enjoyed the plush’s imaginary sequences.

Signed, Anonymous by Enchanted Pink Jade is a Saint Tail fic I reread last week.  It has Meimi and Asuka Jr. exchanging a dairy anonymously talking about their problems and how to solve them.  It’s a cute little ten chapter fic that was written many years ago.

Senju Naruto is a new fic by TheBeardedOne that was started last Monday and finished yesterday.  It has Danzo trying to steal Naruto soon after the Kyubi attack and Kakashi stopping it.  He takes Naruto away and they both end up under Tsunade’s protection as her ‘sons.’  It’s a fun fic and there might be a sequel!

For The Honor of the Regiment is by mp3.1415player.  It’s a Worm and BOLO series (haven’t read it, but it has AI tanks) crossover with one of the BOLO tanks eventually taking over Taylor’s Shard.  It activates early and she is trained from an early age.  It switches back and forth between the beginning and current time.  Fun, but may be confusing to some people.

Trial by Fire is the latest by sakurademonalchemist.  It was in a compilation fic and is a Harry Potter and One Piece fic.  It has ‘Harry becomes Ace’ as the difference from Ace is Harry so we’ll see how the continuation goes.

I’ll finish the first part of the Myrddin de Celestis quest since there’s only 24 chapters left.  Chapter 71 is The Truths of Avalon.  It was a one-shot Buffy and Harry Potter crossover.  There’s no Buffy in it, but Harry goes slightly insane, turns into a girl (or was always one and it was hidden, don’t know) and escapes the Dursleys.

Chapter 72 is Thrice Bound.  It was a five-chapter Harry Potter story I’d read before.  Harry is a triplet of the two boys-who-lived and is often forgotten.  He meets Ginny and Luna on his tenth birthday and becomes soul-bound to them.

Chapter 73 is Twisting Worlds.  It was a four-chapter Final Fantasy XIII and Harry Potter crossover.  Lighting and Vanille are separated from the others and find Serah.  They eventually end up on earth and meet Harry and his twin sister who are new l’Cie.  Don’t know anything about Final Fantasy so can’t say much about this.

Chapter 74 is Two Worlds.  It was one-shot Twilight and Hannah Montana crossover (or would be).  In it Renesmee doesn’t like Jacob and rejects him.  Alice helps her move to Malibu, but it doesn’t happen in the chapter.

Chapter 75 is Lost Art.  It was a one-shot Naruto fic.  Naruto leaves Jiraya early on their training trip to learn a lost art from a book.  Jiraya doesn’t left Konoha know until he gets back at the end of three years.  They were about to go looking for Naruto.

Chapter 76 is We Will Be Heroes.  It was a one-shot Twilight fic.  The husbands of the younger gen vampires are cheating and the girls decide to become superheroes. … yeah, it’s kinda weird.

Chapter 77 is Ionic Storm.  It’s longest story here at 44 chapters.  It has so many crossovers (especially in the last chapters) that I’ll only mention Harry Potter, inFamous and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  It’s like previously mentioned stories, Fem. Harry gets inFamous powers and is brought late to Hogwarts.  Is M for a reason!

Chapter 78 is Midnight Savior.  It was a two-chapter Twilight fic.  Bella is the reborn ‘savior’ and awakens her powers before she goes to Forks.  She’ll end up with Alice, but they haven’t gotten together yet.

Chapter 79 is Upgrade Override.  It was a two-chapter Twilight and Xenosaga crossover.  Taylor goes on a field trip after Edward lives and gets infused with nanobots.  She saves Jane and they travel together.

Chapter 80 is Demonic Bloodlines.  It was two-chapter Naruto fic.  Naruto meets the Kyubi when he’s thrown off the cliff and instead of summoning a toad, Fem. Kyubi helps him.  He meets Hinata and goes to train with Guy.

Chapter 81 is Neketo Uzumaki.  It was a seven-chapter Naruto fic.  Fem. Naruto gets the Sharingan and is much better.  Yeah, not very interesting.

Chapter 82 is Hidden Element Kunoichi.  It was a one-shot Naruto fic.  Fem. Naruto pretends to be fat and only reveals she’s a kunoichi.  Fem. Sasuke (those she’s his twin) and Hinata are her teammates and they’ll end up together.

Chapter 83 is Unoblivious.  It was a 13-chapter Harry Potter fic.  Mostly one-shot stories about Harry asking questions instead of just plowing forward.

Chapter 84 is Possible Abominations.  It was a one-shot Kim Possible fic.  Ron is murdered while she’s on a mission and she promises to avenge him.

Chapter 85 is Evolution of Mana.  It was a one-shot Harry Potter and X-Men crossover.  Harry becomes a mutant while saving a girl from kidnaping and Professor X senses him.

Chapter 86 is History Reborn.  It was a two-chapter Harry Potter fic.  It’s similar to another where Harry and Ginny plan to go back to the past but is mostly only his recollections of the past.

Chapter 87 is In the Era of the Fabled.  It was a two-chapter Harry Potter and Naruto crossover.  Naruto and Harry are born with each other’s expected powers and one odd eye.  They’re connected, but Naruto hasn’t even been mentioned in the story yet.  Just Harry meeting Ginny.

Chapter 88 is Memory of the Arts.  It was a two-chapter Naruto fic.  Essentially a Missing Hokage fic, but with Naruto losing his memory and not caring about others.

Chapter 89 is Burst Reality.  It was a 19-chapter Harry Potter, Final Fantasy VII, Buffy and Code Geass crossover.  Harry and Ginny are time and space Gods to be.  Harry knows he is and dimension travels to grow up in a better environment.  He de-ages and comes back to go to Hogwarts.  It was once much longer, and Ginny knew she was one.  It also has a rewrite I’ll cover later.

Chapter 90 is Mana Uncovered.  It was a one-shot Harry Potter fic.  It has a mad-scientist Harry who makes a clone of his beloved twin sisters.

Chapter 91 is The League of Justice.  It was a one-shot Naruto and DC crossover.  It’s a slight extension of a Mythical Night that explains about Batgirl and Artemis.

Chapter 92 is Player.  It was a four-chapter Harry Potter fic (eventual DC crossover).  It has Sirius faking his death and Harry goes to Gringotts to do things.  The Order is useless, and Harry wins some money.

Chapter 93 is White Flames.  It was a three-chapter Harry Potter fic.  In it Harry gets a mysterious power and bulks up.  Possibly has seer powers, maybe.

Chapter 94 is Infamous City.  It was a two-chapter Naruto fic.  The world has much better technology, but they still need ninjas.  Naruto saves Hinata and ends up betrothed to both her and her sister.  It’s the last one of Mystical Codex, but I’ll cover the other stories next!

A Code Geass Week (Late, but Not Under My Control)

Hello everyone, sorry for being a day late, but my internet was out last night and thus I couldn’t post.  Am I not supposed to post on Fridays?  I’m beginning to think so.  I’ve been continuing to reread Ascension Book One: Bloodline and also reread Code Geass: The Prepared Rebellion V2.  The new chapters this week are: Code Geass: The Prepared Rebellion V2, Mauling Snarks (Mon & Fri), Another Soldier Reporting, Bleach Drabbles, Queen of the Sea, Short Story Drabbles, Burning Ice, Famiglia Drabbles, Pain and Hatred: A Stray Devil’s Tale, Seerking’s Asylum, Heroes Assemble!, By Your Side is Where I Belong, Titanfall, Taylor Varga, Relic of the Future & Gun Bunny.

As I mentioned last time, I went to go see Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection movie on Tuesday.  It was awesome, but before I go on –

For those who haven’t watched either the previous movies (which I did before the movie to know the differences, and I also love the third’s ending song, Re:One) or the series: Lelouch sacrifices himself at the end to take away the world’s hatred.  However, because he had taken his father/uncle’s code in the Thought Elevator he revived: without his memories.   The main difference in the series and the movies is that Shirley survives in the movies.  She takes his body away and gives him to C.C. to help.  She takes his scared and unable to take care of himself body to find another Thought Elevator to get back his memories.

It’s a great movie that allows characters to share their thoughts on him and what he did.  Facing a Geass user who can send her memories into the past if she dies, how will Lelouch beat her?  Will he be able to save Suzaku and Nunnally?  Where will he go now that he’s back?

I really like that he chooses to stay with C.C. after everything she did for him.  I feel bad for Kallen, but C.C. really took care of him while looking out for his body and deserves him in this one.

Also I heard that there is a 10 year plan for the series that I’m looking forward to!  (I also went to go see Detective Pikachu today [Saturday], but I’ll leave that to next time as it wasn’t an original part of this post.)

Moving on, because of the movie I tried looking for Code Geass fics where they watch the series after and couldn’t find one that was finished or updated recently.  The first one I found was The Truth Hurts More by sfaye-chan.  It has C.C. giving Nunnally the DVDs of the series and has all the surviving participants watch them.  It gets through episode 4 and hasn’t been updated since Aug last year.  It’s good, but again not finished.

Next was And It All Comes Out by Fearel.  It has C.C. giving the DVDs to Kallen and she gets everyone together.  It’s also on episode 4, but only halfway through it and it hasn’t been updated since 2016.

Finally, was Entropy by ShadowBlah2.  It’s the longest one, getting through episode 9 and the best one overall in my opinion.  It has Nunnally finding the DVDs (presumably from C’s World) and has everyone watch them, with things devolving as the episodes go on.  It’s funny to watch Suzaku (as Zero) be horrified with so many people knowing his identity and failing to tell everyone to get it over with.  It hasn’t been updated since mid-2017.

I also read another fic called Code Geass: Re by Ignatius Thunderblade.  It has Lelouch going back to his child body and changing things.  He reminds C.C. and eventually Kallen and he changes things slightly but ends up with he and Suzaku switching sides (sort of).  It’s interesting and being currently updated.

Finally, kb0 came out with a new fic called Ginny’s Plan.  It happens when Harry breaks up with her at the end of book 6.  She doesn’t accept it and has a plan to help him when the war.  Only one chapter and it’ll be updated weekly, but it has him going to Grimwald Place instead of Privet Drive and making it his base for the summer.  Looks to be interesting!

Finishing the After-quest and a Black Sky Week (With a New Side Story)

Hello readers! It’s once again time for a post! You read correctly I finished the last of the compilation fics and there are no more stories or chapters from sakurademonalchemist that I haven’t read! I mostly read more Desperately Seeking Ranma and Ashes of the Past (I’m finally getting back to rereading it to catch up). The new chapters this week were: Relic of the Future, Another Solider Reporting (Sat, Mon, Tues x2, Wed x2, Thurs), The Unseen Hunt, Black Sky (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri), Mauling Snarks (Mon & Fri), Corpse Cleaner (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri), Dawn of Magic (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri), Campione of the Raging Tides, History Strongest Disciple Again?, Mending the Knots, Heroes Assemble!, Taylor Varga, Marvel’s Maelstrom, Titanfall, Gorgon and Thanatos and Kingdom Drabbles.

I’ll finish the after-quest stories first, Short Story Drabbles is the Harry Potter compilation fic. It has 227 chapters. The new stories it’s crossovered with are Hollows (a manga), Magico (a novel series), Dragon Kishidan (a manga/Anime), Little Pet Shop of Horrors (an anime and manga) and Numb3rs (an American TV series about a mathematician who helps his FBI brother).

Famgilia Drabbles is the KHR compilation fic. The new stories it’s crossovered with are Beauty and Beast (please watch a version of this if you haven’t already), Mouse (an older manga about a phantom thief), Stitch (a Movie and series about a alien experiment that lands on Earth) and Katana (a manga about a forger who can see the true form of the swords).

Stories of Fate is the Fate/Stay Night compilation fic (and the last one!). There are no new stories in the 39 chapters (because most of them have already been made into full stories). The crossovers from the non-full story chapters are: Fullmetal Alchemist, Pokémon, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Rising of the Shield Hero and Harry Potter.

When Empires Collide by Nemesis13 is a Star Wars and Code Geass crossover. Before the Zero Requiem, the Empire invades the Earth. The world unites to fight them and become a thorn in the Empire’s side. Nunnally ends up on Tatooine and befriends Luke. It’s a fun story, but not long and updated irregularly (was just updated).

Yesterday’s Tomorrow by Umei no Mai is a KHR (maybe Harry Potter later) fic that’s a companion fic to Black Sky. In Black Sky, Tsuna and friends were sent to the future, but didn’t go back soon after like they were supposed to. Tsuna can tell that this isn’t really the future as he knows he isn’t the Tenth Boss. Watch as he tries to find a way home while annoyed at his ‘future self’.

That’s it for this week, but at least I won’t mention sakurademonalchemist unless they post a new fic. Oh also, for those who didn’t know, KH3 now has a Critial Mode DLC. If you play it, prepare to die (that’s all I know as I haven’t played that one yet). Next week I’ll have seen Avengers: Endgame so be prepared for my thought on it! I Changed the Archive and Made a Poll (Please Vote!)

Hey everyone! It’s been a week and no one has liked (or really read) any or the posts since I started this style of writing. Therefore, I made a poll that I’ll put a link to at the beginning of the post for the next week while I continue with this style. I’ve also redone the archive section like I mentioned last time. The only direct chapter links in the Archive will be from the current month. When 2019 ends (and I hopefully will still be posting and have more people reading my posts), I’ll do what I did with my 2018 posts and move the month links to a new 2019 page that will be linked on the main Archive page.

These past few days I’ve read some more of Outfoxed and Lord Over the Night Sky and started rereading Prime Directive: Hero, How Eating a Strange Fruit Gave Me My Quirk and Taylor Varga. The new chapters were from: Tsunami, Service with a Smile, Reality Bites Worm, My Hero Academia (manga chapter), It’s in the Cards, Heroes Assemble!, Taylor Varga and Death March (the online story).

Since I liked the fanfic Archer from last post, I decided to look into other stories by the author Fencer22. The first one that caught my eye was ‘Flames’ which is a Worm and KHR crossover. The only real crossover is that Taylor triggers with Dying Will flames, but not Sky. Instead of the normal Taylor’s outlook of becoming a Hero, this Taylor is more practical and wants money to prepare for the imminent end of the world (and explains why she thinks so). The other one I found interesting was ‘Grind,’ which is a Worm and multiple crossover fic. It has Taylor triggering with the power to enter any type of story (Book, DVD or game) and gain the power(s) of whatever characters she or anyone she brings along play as. The only issue, they have to go through the whole story. For example, when she goes into the first book, she’s stuck ‘reading’ the book and doing whatever the main character does for four hours until the end of it, basically outing herself. It’s a good story, sadly the author decided they could not write it anymore and just posted a spattering of scenes leading up to an ‘ending’ for the last chapter. Next, sakurademonalchemist posted a new story called, ‘Breaking the Gilded Cage.’ It’s a KHR and Natsume’s Book of Friends crossover, with a female Tsuna turning back time to her younger self to get away from the Vongola and instead taking the route of Takashi from Natsume’s Book of Friends. It’s only two chapters long so far, but it’s not bad. Kinda hard to make a decision about how a story will be in two chapters. Following that I found the fic ‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R-eset’ by Starlight’s Poet. It’s a Lelouch of the Rebellion story with side stories like Code Geass: Akito of the Exiled and game storylines included. It starts off with Lelouch getting the chance to relive his rebellion from the start and him taking it. He’s more powerful this time and knows what happened to his mother, so he can focus on taking down Britannia. The story is interesting and I haven’t finished it yet up to the current chapter yet, so I hope it continues to be so. Finally, I started rereading ‘Neo Yondaime Hokage’ by Psycho G. The story is a Naruto one where Minato not only seals the Kyuubi into Naruto; he also seals himself. Naruto grows up as Tsunade’s ‘son’ and soon finds multiple women after him. But, just because he is stronger doesn’t mean he’ll bulldoze through fights. He still will have issues, just different ones than the normal ones. He even accidentally visits the ‘canon’ universe and changes things for the better! Going back to more of what I watched during my ‘Christmas break from blogging’ (I’ll be doing one or two movies/shows for the next few posts because I watched a lot during that time period) I watched “The Mummy Returns” from the Mummy series. I’ve seen it and the rest of the series before, but I always enjoy rewatching them. Watching Rick and Evelyn O’Conner battle it out against Imhotep while trying to save their son is great. I was sad Evelyn didn’t return for the third movie, but it was good anyway. Not sure which one is my favorite, though the third one was probably my least favorite. I would recommend any of them though if you haven’t watched them yet!

To finish it off, I watched “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.” I would have liked it better if I had read the story before hand, but it was what was decided to watch at that time. I found it interesting, even if I missed the first part. I’ll probably read the books sometime, but I think I’ll like the books better because it looks like they just crammed the second book at least into the last 30 mins of the movie.

Today, I finished Uzumaki Naruko: To the Victor, the Spoils. There was only a new chapter for Revenant. Other than watching the first ten episodes of the The Irregular at Magic High Shcool, I mostly played PoGo, KHUx and Fate/GO. I was mostly busy with relatives and Thanksgiving prep.

In recompense, I’ll talk about the Inkworld Trilogy. It starts with the first book, Inkheart. It’s about a father (Mortimer or Mo), who repairs old books and his daughter (Meggie) who have a special ability, to read people and characters into and out of books. When she was little, her father accidentally read her mother into the book ‘Inkheart’ and brought out the main villain, some of his goons and Dustfinger, a fire-eater. Now, the villain wants to use their abilities to bring his strongest allies to this world. How will they get out of this? You can find out in Inkheart, Inkspell and Inkdeath. I really love this trilogy because it tries to answer an interesting question; does a story really end when the book ends?

Wednesday

There wasn’t much again today, but at least there’s more than yesterday. There were new chapters for Burning Ice, Harry Potter and the Stargate, Mending the Knots, and Heroes Assemble! Played more PoGo, KHUx and Fate/GO (end of the replay of the former Christmas event).

Seerking is finally back and with the last of their main stories (that I might have mentioned or not, he hasn’t posted an actual chapter for it since the week before I started the blog. Though he might have posted an interlude that I talked about. Really, really need to make that list), ‘Code Geass: The Prepared Rebellion.’ It’s a Code Geass story that has Lelouch actually planning to rebellion (and working out rather than being a lazy bum). He takes other people into consideration and has better connections with people. Things happen differently, but his goal is still the same; to get overthrow his father and find out who killed his mother. The family and I went to go see the new Grinch movie tonight and I have to say I liked it a lot. The songs were good in my opinion and I liked that they gave the all the characters a better back-story. I very much enjoyed the organ that the Grinch had in his cave. All in all, I would recommend people to go see it. It’s not just a movie for young kids, all ages would like it (in my opinion, considering there were essentially three generations of my family that liked it).

Finally I reread another of sakurademonalchemist’s stories, ‘Fiery Rebirth.’ It’s a Harry Potter and KHR story where Rokudo Mokuro is Harry. Petunia sold him to the Estranio family when he was young and he gained the ability to transform into a Pheonix and have a burning day (turning him into a young kid with no memories for a few weeks). He activates this ability to get his body back from the First Generations’ Mist Guardian (Daemon Spade) and turns them both into babies. This causes a ripple effect that ends them up in England. First of all, Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope everyone who celebrates it (cause I know people from all around the world read this blog) had a happy day with lots of food and their loved ones! Moving on, because I was not on the cooking crew, I was able to read more today, even if most of it was from sakurademonalchemist. There were new chapters for How Eating a Strange Fruit Gave Me My Quirk, Taylor Varga (finally!) and Reincarnation Roulette.

The first of the ones I reread (from sakurademonalchemist) was ‘Elemental Sky.’ It’s a KHR and Naruto crossover with the Female Tsuna character being the Sand Sibling’s cousin on their mom’s side through Nana. When she goes to visit she is able to help Gaara with his issues. She is also able to help some Konoha ninjas (including our favorite blonde ninja and his quiet stalker [I mean, fellow shinobi]). The second one I reread was ‘Sunshine.’ It’s a Harry Potter and KHR crossover where Renatto (Reborn as a young kid) becomes a young female Harry’s penpal. They keep in contact until he tells him how to deal with a certain Toad. She runs away after and she becomes his Sky. She causes many changes and most of them are for the better! I also read some stories I haven’t read from them, with the first being ‘Golden King of Zero.’ It’s a Familiar of Zero and Type Moon universe crossover, with Louise summoning Ko Gil (Kid Gilgamesh, who is better liked) as her familiar. Ko Gil is surprised and (rightly) blames the old Vampire Troll for his problems. What will happen with him as the Gandalfr? The second was ‘Empathy,’ which is a Harry Potter and Scorpion crossover. Scorpion is an American TV show about a group of genii who work for the government (sometimes) to solve issues other’s can’t. They’re lead by Walter, who is the smartest of them all. Paige (who’s son, Ralph, is also a genius) helps them understand other people and translates them to others. I like this show, even if I’m behind on it, so I would recommend it.

Empathy has Harry being adopted as Adrian O’Brien and is Walter’s brother. He is an empath and joins the team slightly before the show after being released from confinement in the hospital in the wizarding world (because they thought he was too powerful). Next is ‘Moonlight Star,’ which is a Sailor Moon and Nanoha crossover. It has Chibiusa ending up back in time during the events of the first season. The last one was ‘Devil of the Forgotten.’ It’s a Harry Potter and High School DxD (it’s non-M rated) where the female Harry is Rias’ missing sister. She shows up right before the story started with her peerage (to hard to explain quickly, other than it also mixes Hellsing). She changes many things and tries to save her sister from her fate. Finally, I also started rereading a story by anothvortex called ‘Escape from the Hokage’s Hat.’ It’s another Naruto is kicked out after he retrieves Sasuke back, but this one has Tsunade, Shizune and Hinata joining him. It’s an interesting story and is about 42 chapters long, but hasn’t been updated since 2012 so I don’t think it will be finished. A Weekend for a Few Readers

So it looks like there were a few people who visited this past weekend. Thanks to those who did! Lets see if we can’t get more people to come. On to the weekend!

Friday

There were four new chapters that came out today. One for Stark Imprint, which reveals that it ‘happens’ after whatever the conclusion of the Avengers 4 movie.  The second one was for Parva Sub Ingenti and has the group going back through the Gate to Earth. The third one was of course Mauling Snarks (as usual). The last one was for a story a previously mentioned author, ack1308, called ‘It Gets Worse.’ Like most of his stories, it is based on Worm. Instead of Taylor triggering with Insect Control, she gets an unconscious power that brings bad luck to those who wish her harm or discomfort. For most of the rest of the day I read Reaching for a Dream from yesterday and it’s three sequels. Reaching for a Dream is a straight Naruto fic, but at the end of it (30 chapters) they story leaves that universe. The second story is in the Justice League universe. Naruto and his wife (the Kyuubi) decide to try ‘Trolling the League.’ No, really that’s the name of the fic. It’s only 8 chapters, but it’s amusing. The third in the series is called ‘Sekirei? Is that some new species of little sister?’ The two go to the Sekirei universe (as is stated in the title) so Naruto can find some little sisters (it’s a common theme, he had some in the first story as well). He ends up derailing the Sekirei plan and of course finding some little sisters. This one is 17 chapters and is amusing. The last (currently) in this series is called ‘The(questionable) burdens of leadership of a troll Emperor.’ It takes place in the Stargate universe and starts long long before the original movie. Naruto and his wife decide to make an empire for his new little sisters, starting on a distant planet and planning to take over the galaxy(ies). I didn’t finish this today, but hope to tomorrow. To be honest, I haven’t really watched any Stargate before today. So, I watched the original movie to get a feel for it. I liked it, but I could have done without a family member ruining the ending on the way to dinner.

Oh, before I end today, I remembered that with all the Quartermass fics, I forgot to write about the Seerking story that updated on Wednesday. It’s called ‘Campione of the Raging Tides’ and is (obviously) set in the Campione universe. It has the eighth Campione being born, an OC (Original Character) named Jean Campbell. It shows her (re)birth and actions after becoming a Campione. It’s really good, but it’s a yuri(girl with girl) fic. Like I continue to say, Don’t Like, Don’t Read. Saturday

Not really much to say today. I finished The(questionable) burdens of leadership of a troll Emperor and read more of Becoming a Man among Men. The new story I read is called ‘Deku: The Golden Saiyan Hero of Hope. This is a My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball series crossover (though the author doesn’t label it that way). It has Deku finding his quirk? (This is unknown, it might be he just awakened his heritage as a Sayian. It’s unclear.) while also getting One for All. Since I mentioned the Dragon Ball series, I might as well go a little bit in depth on it for those who don’t know. The Dragon Ball series’ main character is Goku Son (or Son Goku in Japanese naming with the last name first). Goku is a Saiyan. Saiyans are a species of human like aliens who look human with a tail that can transform into an uncontrollable giant ape during the full moon. They were a mercenary group that took over planets and sold them. Goku was sent to Earth as a baby to destroy it, but an accident erases this instinct.

When he is 11 or 12, a girl named Bulma comes to his mountain home looking for a Dragon Ball. They are a set of seven golden balls with 1-7 stars on them that grant a wish to the one who gathers them. This sets them on journey that leads to many friends and enemies. His journey until he turns 18 (and gets married) happens in Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball Z continues his story and his son Gohan’s as well. There are many movies, specials and games along with newer series Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Heroes. If you want to watch everything, it will take a long time.

Other than that, today was the day that Moltres was available for three hours in raids (PoGo). I went out and got the shiny version (YAY), but right after that the game went buggy and after waiting a while I get went home. I got what I wanted; I don’t need more than one. On to tomorrow!

Sunday

Today had some more new chapters for stories, though they’re all Quartermass ones. The fics were Warlock, Parva Sub Ingenti and Plenipotent Player Prince. I also read a new fic from him called ‘Revenant.’ It’s a Harry Potter and X-Men crossover. After things go wrong and most of his friends die at his & Ginny’s wedding (He does, but Master of Death), Harry takes revenge as is put through the veil, ending up in the Xavier home a few years before the First Class movie. I started, but didn’t read much of, ‘One Punch Man: A tad different’ by CrimsonSZ. One Punch Man is about a man called Saitama who trained to be a hero for fun to fight against monsters. However, he is so powerful, one punch is all it takes to kill his enemies. In this fic instead of being ignored by the Hero’s Association, he meets the number 2 hero, Tatsumaki, during the first episode. I also read the fic, ‘Reincarnation Roulette’ by Nemesis13. It’s a Code Geass fic with Lelouch having been reincarnated millions of times. This one has him as female and is during the Japanese invasion. Things are very different. It only has 6 chapters, but I’m looking forward to more. The last story for today is ‘Remnant’s Maelstrom Shinobi’ by MothBallz. It’s a Naruto and RWBY crossover with Naruto being sent a long time into the future to save him. The future is the RWBY universe. Watch as Naruto adapts and learns what happened to the shinobi world. (doesn’t have very many Naruto characters, mostly referenced). I started off reading some more of The Remnant Knight and One Punch Man: A tad different, but haven’t finished rereading them yet. There were some more new chapters: Seerking’s Asylum for Plot Bunnies that Won’t Stop Buggin Me, Mauling Snarks, Parva Sub Ingenti and Plenipotent Player Prince.

Then I read a new fic (for me) called ‘The Healing Touch’ by xpegasus. It is a My Hero Academia fic that has Deku finding that he does have a quirk that allows him to heal himself and others when he meets All Might. It’s interesting. I started reading another My Hero Academia fic named ‘Headstart’ by Kamil the Awesome. It has All Might finding Deku 4 years earlier and allowing him to get One for All earlier and train with it. I started rereading a fic called ‘Viridescent’ by darkfire1220 that is also a My Hero Academia fic. It has Deku having a quirk, but not using it because he is afraid of other’s reactions to it. This is because it is the same as his (OC) villain father’s. It has him getting One for All, but also attracting All for One’s attention. I read a lot of My Hero Academia fics today, right? The last one is called ‘Prime Directive: Hero’ by awkardnaut626. It has Deku finding out he does have a quirk at 4, that allow him to analyze anything, including quirks, and use it (including other’s quirk powers). See how this changes things. The last fanfiction I read today was ‘Time and Sand’ by Scififan33.   It is a Star Wars story (yeah, I’m not going to explain this one. Look it up if you don’t know.). Luke ends up in the past before Episode I on Tatooine. He ended up there after an AU (Alternate Universe) of The Last Jedi where Luke goes with Rey to Ben. No One for a Week!

Wow, nobody’s even visited the site since last Thursday. I’m sad to realize this, but maybe I need to advertise more. If someone has suggestions or thinks I’m doing something wrong, please tell me. Tuesday

So to finish yesterday’s new fanfictions (they’re all still Quatermass’ stories), the first is ‘Separated at Birth’. It’s a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover happening after the events of the HP books. It’s revealed that Harry is not really a Potter (causing Ginny and most people to leave him), but was really stolen from another universe to become the Boy Who Lived. Taking few people with him (Hermione, Luna and George) he gets Zelretch’s help to go to meet his now younger twin sister, Rin Tohsaka a year or so before the Grail War. The last one from yesterday was, ‘Plenipotent Player Prince.’ It’s a crossover between Code Geass and Overlord. Overlord is a light novel/anime about a guy who stays logged in on a VR game on its last day until the servers shut down. When it happens, he and the NPCs in his guild’s base are transported to a new world (including a succubus he changed to description to love him). Now a real life lich, he and the now alive NPCs take this world by storm after he takes the guild’s name as his own, Ainz Ooal Gown. In the fic, instead of being transported to a new world, most the characters a reborn as Code Geass characters, with Ainz Ooal Gown being Lelouch. See how this changes things. Moving on to today, I have more Qautermass fics (Yay). No really, they’re good. The first for today was, ‘Gorgon and Thanatos’. It’s another Harry Potter and Fate/Zero Crossover (the author has a few). It has things going wrong again after the books and Harry going to be a guardian of a hidden library in Fuyuki a few years before the Fourth Grail War. He isn’t a participant, but ends up accidentally have a Heroic Spirit of his own as a familiar. The war is much different because of it. Next is ‘Parva Sub Ingenti’. It means, ‘The small under the huge’ and it’s a crossover between Harry Potter (surpise!) and “Gate: Thus the JDF Fought There”. Gate is a story about a Gate to a medieval magical world appearing in Japan and an army coming through to attack. The attack is eventually repelled and the JDF (Japanese Defense Force) is sent through to find out about this new world and get reparations. One soldier is Itami (an otaku who happened to be there when the attack happened and helped save people). He leads a group to map this new world and help as many pretty girls as possible and have them follow him around. Also, there’s a huge dragon!

The fic has Harry, Hermione and Luna going through the veil (which leads to the world on the other side of the Gate) several years before the Gate would open. Harry ends up saving someone who would become a villain in the original story and living his life there. See how this massively changes the story. Also Sirius is still alive. Following is ‘Light the Blue Touch Paper and Run Like Hell’. It’s a crossover between Thor and Fate/Zero that has Loki becoming the master of Caster (Medea) in the Fourth Grail War after being saved by Zelretch (this is after the events of the movie Thor, before he meets Thanos). He uses this as a way to work through his frustrations about his family and learn more about himself. ‘Cambion’ is a Harry Potter and High School DxD crossover. It has Harry as a half devil with Riser Phenex being his father. James kicks him out of the Potter family for having a different father. The last fic (for today) from Quartermass is ‘Neopolitan and the Goblet of Fire’. It is a crossover between Harry Potter and RWBY in which a female Harry is Neopolitan. During the events at the end of the 3rd season, the Goblet of Fire summons Neo back to the Harry Potter world. She then decides to take revenge on her father and Sirius (who threw her through the Veil at a young age). It’s interesting. I read a few more chapters of Remnant’s Reclaimer and started rereading a RWBY fanfiction called ‘The Remnant Knight’ by Masseffect-TxS.  It has Jaune sending Pyrrha away at the end of the 3rd season and facing Cinder himself.  This reveals an ability not even he knew about in his bloodline that helps him, at a cost.  Watch as he overcomes it and sets the world on a new path. Homestuck was mentioned in a fic and I went looking for it. I only got to the 27th page, but it looks … weird. It’s an MS paint adventure about, trolls, I think. I’ll get back to it later. The link to it is here – https://www.homestuck.com/.

Lastly I read a new chapter from Seerking’s Asylum for Plot Bunnies That Won’t Stop Bugging Me. For those who don’t remember, it’s a one shot/short story repository for him.

Wednesday

I read a lot again today, so get ready! I read some more chapters of Becoming a Man Among Men. However I read more of Quartermass’ fic today… sorry going to be for a little bit more. The first one is called, ‘Wings of the Forsaken’ and is a Harry Potter and “Sekirei” crossover. Sekirei is a manga/anime about a young Japanese man who gets caught up in a contest between aliens called Sekirei who are forced to fight because of a mad man’s whims. Most of the Sekirei are beautiful girls who bond with their ‘destined one’ and fight until only one remains. Minato ‘wings’ several Sekirei and is also forced to compete. It’s interesting, but you can tell it’s a story for young men (what with all the panty shots).

Wings of the Forsaken has Harry cast out of the Potter’s for being Lupin’s son (who helped Lily overcome the love potion James has her under) after the Halloween attack. He is eventually left in Japan and is taken in by Miya. After taking over the company in charge of the Sekirei, Harry is forced back to England for the Tri-Wizard Tournament. The next one is called ‘Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho, An Ashikabi’s Life for Me’. It’s a Pirates of the Caribbean movie series and Sekirei crossover that has Jack Sparrow reborn as Minato. The last one from Quartermass (again today) is called ‘Warlock’. It is a Code Geass and Harry Potter crossover. It has Harry going through the veil in fifth year and ending up in the Code Geass universe. He becomes Kallen’s boyfriend and helps out their group before Zero shows up. I also completely reread a fic called ‘The Ash Connection’ by I am Lu. It has Ash and all his former and current traveling companions (It’s set in Black and White), rivals and friends on the run from a Team Rocket controlled Mewtwo. Thursday

Not that much overall read today, but again there are a few Quartermass fics. The first is ‘Disquiet’ and it is a Harry Potter and “Black Lagoon” crossover. Black Lagoon is about a shipping company who does illegal things for money who capture a Japanese salary man for a disk he is transporting. Rock, as he is later called, is abandoned to die by his company and falls in with the Lagoon company.  Watch as he, Revy (a two-handed female sharpshooter), and the rest of the crew handle their jobs and the mess that follows.  I also started rewatching the anime a few days ago to remind myself of the series, I would definitely recommend it.

In Disquiet, Harry (now Hal) is the partner of a character from later in the series, Frederica Sawyer. She (in the story) is Bellatrix’s daughter. They were thought dead by the Wizarding World (WW) after James and Sirius try to make Horcruxes from them (and says they were killed practicing dark magic). When Harry’s brother dies in his fifth year, the WW comes looking for them. Only to find them very much willing to kill anyone who comes after them with the intent to kill. It happens during the Killer Maid arc and doesn’t have much to do with the main characters of Black Lagoon. The link to the story is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12459701/1/Disquiet.

The other one from Quartermass today is a one-shot called ‘Coconuts?’. It’s a Fate/Stay Night – Unlimited Blade Works afterstory that has Zelretch sending Monty Python and the Holy Grail for Arturia to watch… yeah. I would not recommend for the actual King Arthur to ever watch it, as hilarious as it is. On a side note, when a friend from summer camp (when I was in high school) heard I hadn’t seen it, he recited it to me verbatim over the next few days (impressive right). Other than a few more chapters of Becoming a Man Among Men, I read a new chapter of Parva Sub Ingeti and a new fic, ‘Reaching for a Dream’ by Noodlehammer. It is the first of a series of Naruto fics and the only one not a crossover. It has an older Naruto than the other characters normally his age and different female Kyuubi. Warning! This is an M fic for a reason. It has many Lemons in it (if you don’t know what that means, it is slang for R rated interactions between men and women). Sorry everyone, I went to sleep early yesterday and it wasn’t until today that I remembered I need to post.  I figured I’d just wait and put today’s post in it too.  On to the posts (now it’s very early Saturday, go figure)

Tuesday

I started today by reading a few more chapters in Becoming a Man Among Men.  Then I reread a Pokemon one-shot and the some chapters from the fanfiction it’s a sort of prequel to – ‘I Swear It’ and ‘The Master Challenge: Intro and Kanto Arcs’ both by NoSignalBlueScreen.  I Swear It is a Ash/Misty story (They don’t get together but it deals more with them starting to acknowledge their feelings) that happens during the solo training trip mentioned in The Master Challenge.  The Master Challenge is set after Kalos (though the author started writing at the beginning of Kalos) and Ash decides he needs to go on a solo training trip with his Pokemon to get stronger.  A year later, the Master Challenge is announced and all of Ash’s friends/traveling companions & rivals show up to take it.  It involves going through all of the regions to find something in each one, but wait, what is Team Rocket doing!?  And what’s this about the gang’s parents? I also got a few new chapters today, the first is a Naruto story that happens after the “Finding Tsunade” arc called ‘The Unexpected Lord of Foxes’ by Solvdrage.  Solvdrage is a fellow Naruto/Hinata shipper and has many stories with that paring.  This one has the Hyuuga Elders deposing Hinata’s dad and planning to punish Hinata and Negi.  Hinata gets to express her feelings to Naruto and he decides to help her and the clan out, with some (as mentioned in the title) unexpected help.  I read the new chapter and started to reread the story (it’s only 12 chapters).  The link to Solvdrage’s profile is – https://www.fanfiction.net/u/1094449/Solvdrage and the link to the fanfic is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/7032511/1/The-Unexpected-Lord-of-Foxes.  The second new chapter I got was from a story I mentioned last post – ‘Skittering Campione’.

Wendesday

I didn’t read much today, but I did start rereading another Code Geass fanfiction ‘Code Geass: The Rise of the Black Prince’ by nanoman79.  It’s an interesting story with the starting point that Lelouch & Nunnaly’s mother didn’t die and what would happen if they finished growing up in Britannia.  It has 107 chapter and a sequel with some chapters, but the author hasn’t written anything since 2016.  Not to say they don’t have good stories, but it always annoys me when people don’t finish their fics or at least give a good reason why they stop.  The link to the fanfic is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6151698/1/Code-Geass-The-Rise-of-the-Black-Prince.

Other than that, I got some new chapters.  The first one is a Naruto & Harry Potter crossover called ‘A Ninja Summoned’ by Baleygr.  It has Harry being transported to the Naruto verse when he was young (which runs 2 times faster than the Harry Potter verse), becoming a ninja, going through the Naruto timeline before the main part of the fanfiction and marrying a female Naruto.  After all this in the prologue, an adult Harry is summoned by the Goblet of Fire from in front of his wife to participate in the Tri-wizard Tournament.  Follow Harry and the team that comes from Konoha in their adventures in the Potter verse!  It’s on it’s fifth chapter and if good.  The link to the story is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12584637/1/A-Ninja-Summoned.

The next new chapter is the next story by Seerking – ‘Worm – Justice for All’.  It’s a crossover between Worm and the Japanese light novel series “Infinite Dendrogram”.  Infinite Dendrogram is about a young man who starts a VR game that gives each player an Embryo that evolves as the player grows.  The main character gets a rare type that looks human a Type-Maiden.  This fanfic has Taylor getting a Type-Maiden Embryo.  The first arc of the story was already posted on his plot bunny story – Seerking’s Asylum for Plot Bunnies That Won’t Stop Bugging Me, but he’s edited it and is posting the chapters in his line up (it’s only on the second now).  The link to the story is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12930247/1/Worm-Justice-For-All.

The last one is from a series I haven’t mentioned yet, the supposed rival of Pokemon, Digimon.  Digimon is a show with multiple series with different ‘digidestined’ who partner up with a digimon to save the human and digital world.  They’re not all in the same universe.  It’s called ‘Crossing Boundaries, Second Edition’ by Yua-hime.  The author is remaking their older fic.  It deals with Kuroku and Clockmon gathering the digi-destined  from the other plots for the ending of Fusion.  It mostly focuses on Daisuke, how he is treated and others think of him.  The link to the story is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13049841/1/Crossing-Boundaries-Second-Edition.

Thursday

So as I mentioned at the top, I’m writing this on Friday (sorry again).  I remember yesterday fairly well, so on to it.

Yesterday was mostly filled with Code Geass: The Rise of the Black Prince and finishing The Unexpected Lord of Foxes, but I did get two new chapters.  The first one I’ll mention was ‘The Lady of the Flies’ by InsanityIncarnate90 and is a Worm and High School DxD.  At the end of Worm, Taylor is dropped into the DxD verse and is reincarnated into a devil by a young Rias Gremory.  See how Taylor changes things.  The link to the fic is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12586479/1/The-Lady-of-the-Flies.

The second one is a fic called ‘Out of Time’ by Saint Danielle.  It is a My Hero Academia fanfiction.  For those who don’t know it, it deals with a senior middle school student named Izuku who is powerless in a world where those having no having powers are the minority.  He studies heroes and wants to be one, but is looked down on for it.  He impresses his hero, All Might, who passes his ‘Quirk’ (what powers are called) on to him (the only one that can be passed on).  Watch Izuku take on the name, Deku, and study to become a great hero with others, while dealing with supervillains.  In Out of Time, Izuku is one of the first heroes and on his final battle, he disappears.  He reappears many years later, during the original stories time, and has to figure out how to adapt while figuring out who the bad guys really are.  It’s only three chapters, but it’s good.  The link to the fic is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12942482/1/Out-of-Time.

Friday

Once again not much, mostly Code Geass: The Rise of the Black Prince, I’m on chapter 61.  I got new chapter for previously mentioned fics: Taylor Varga, Mauling Snarks and Elemental Sky.  I also started a completely new fanfic, ‘Child of the Storm’ by Nimbus Llewelyn.  It’s a crossover between Harry Potter and The Avengers (Marvel verse).  It happens in Year 3 (now in 2013) of HP and in 2013 Marvel movie verse (but Loki is good now).  Thor was James Potter with his memories erased, but was killed before a merging could be done.  His memories were blocked because he went mad and is only reminded of them when Harry mentally calls for help as he’s falling from his broom in the match with Dementors.  Loki reminds Thor and the story happens.  Read for more at – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8897431/1/Child-of-the-Storm.  I’m only a few chapters in, but it’s good.
