My Fic is Up!

Hello, everyone. I’ve worked and finally gotten all the added links added where they should and have the current quest list up (in A-Z order [including later ones mentioned that are prequels]). I even have a favorite list that I’ll add to as I mention more of them in posts.

Things were fine at work, but it’s been really busy. I also finally posted the first chapter of my fic on the 28^th as I promised my group I would. However, one of group got back to me Thursday with recommendations for the first chapter. I spent part of the weekend (including when I would normally work on this) to finish the editing and repost it. So! Here are the links to Theurgy Thru Replevy on FF.net and AO3. I hope people enjoy it, but I’m honestly doing this for me. I’d love to write my own stories, and this is helping me. Also, I really wanted to have a completed MHA/CCS crossover even if it takes me forever.

So, onto the listening changes, I finished The Eminence in Shadow Vol 1 and moved back to Baccano! Vol 2. This is one of my favorite ones from the anime, the story of what happened on the Flying Pussyfoot train at the end of 1931, or rather, half the story. There are three groups that have their own plans for the train. Throw in two silly thieves who don’t know anything, several independents doing their own thing and the mysterious ‘Rail Tracer’. How will things turn out?

Because I didn’t post last week, I also finished that one, so now I’m on Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs Vol 2. Leon is continuing at school after the duel. Everyone hates him because they lost tons of money on the betting. Now there’s a school festival and several people are plotting against him. Will he be able to deal with it? And will anything ever happen with Livia or Angie?

Next I finished Taking Control and went to its sequel Free Life also by fake a smile. I mentioned it here before. It takes place during the summer after 6^th year. Harry has escaped Dumbledore’s control and is fighting the Death Eaters that go after his students. Will he be able to see Ginny? And will things be resolved with Dumbles? Some questions are answered, but not all as it only has 6 chapters and it was last updated in 2011.

I also finished A Body Roll or Two and decided to move onto Hero Academia DxD by DinoCam1234. This one is mainly an MHA and High School DxD crossover where Izuku takes Issei’s place as the Red Dragon Emperor. It’s set in MHA and Rias is in UA already. There’re also characters from Bungou Stray Dogs (that I haven’t read or watched yet) and other anime (like Code Geass) and some MHA characters take the place of DxD characters. Its 64 chapters long and was just updated at the end of last year!

Mauling Snarks was also finished and I read the Apocrypha of the fic Mauling Canon. It’s also written by CmptrWz. It takes a different version of chap 58 and MS Taylor ends up in Canon Worm the night Taylor goes out. Shenanigans ensue. The link is to the first chapter, and it has links to all 14 chapters at the bottom.

After that I decided to listen to Issei – The Gaming Gear by Seerking again. It’s a High School DxD and The Gamer crossover I first mentioned here. Issei and his family are attacked by a rouge agent of an unknown faction, the Purifiers, before he meets Raynare and awakens his Sacred Gear. However, he has two, Boosted Gear and the Gamers Gear (Gaia). They help him defeat the Purifier, but now he has to deal with the rest. An interesting way to introduce Issei to the supernatural world, no? It has 24 chapters and sadly, Seerking still hasn’t updated this year.

In Flight was finished and I chose Heart of the Soul by sakurademonalchemist next. It’s a KHR and Ghost Hunt crossover I first mentioned here. Mai (Fem. Tsuna) breaks the seal on her flames in the middle of a case. This allows ‘Naru’s’ brother ‘Yuu-chan’ to escape where he is to her house. Now how will flames affect the supernatural? It has 21 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2017.

I completed that one and listened to Hero Class Civil Warfare by RogueDruid (Icarius51). I honestly thought I had mentioned this one before, but it’s a MHA AU where there’s a ‘civil war’ every year between the students of 1-A and 1-B. Two of them are chosen to be the leaders of the Heroes and Villains. Of course, Bakugo is chosen as the hero leader, but Izuku is chosen as the villains. Will he be able to step into the role and help his fellow ‘villains’ win? Find out as it’s complete and has a sequel and a spin-off.

Sadly, I also completed that and turned to Tome of the Orange Sky by CmptrWz again. It’s a Naruto and slight Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha crossover that I first mentioned here. Naruto finds an old and broken device and it uses the Kyuubi to help recreate itself. Now Kurama is dead and everything changes. It’s completed!

To end, my replacement for Weasley Brothers’ Enterprises is Hybird Hive – Eat Shard by CmptrWz. Its a Worm and Magical Lyrical Nanoha crossover that I first mentioned here. When Taylor triggers in the locker, a Belkan device is pulled along. It absorbs her shard and connects with her. How will magic affect this grim dark world? This one is also complete! With that said, I just put a link that shows what my current listening list is.

Finally, the quest continues! First is It’s OK Not to Be OK (But I Promise, I’m Trying) by rayrae118. It’s here because it’s the first in the series of the actual next one. In this one, McGonagall finds out what Harry is going through at the Dursleys and takes him in at the end of third year. It follows the summer after and fourth year. It’s mostly Harry/Ginny with some Ron/Hermione in there. It’s a good completed series overall and a favorite.

The actual first is Every Tear Fall Down for a Reason (But I Promise I Won’t Cry for You) by rayrae118. This one is the fifth-year story. How will this Harry deal with Umbridge? And will he learn the prophecy? All this and more!

Second is the Evil Gohan Series by Dr. Trunks Briefs. I’ve mentioned them before here and they’re no longer on ff.net. However, I found a drive that has all the fics here. Impasse has Future Gohan and Trunks coming to help with the androids, with a little helper. There it’s revealed that Gohan in the that future, snapped and needs meds to stay normal. They want to stop the androids and make sure Gohan stays sane.

Finesse is the sequel set when Gohan goes to high school. The future gang is back to make sure Gohan doesn’t snap and make sure things go well with Videl. However, they don’t expect Buu and Gohan being controlled. How will things work out?

Pavisse is the prequel, the story of Future Gohan and what happened with him.

Technically third is Exiles by kb0. This is a Harry Potter fic that goes AU after the final battle. The remaining Des take out the adults when they relax after the battle. The Ministry Six and George are captured and put in Azkaban. They escape and exile themselves rather than face trial. This one is completed with six chapters, a sad, but good read.

Lastly, fourth and the final E is Exodus by Ld1449. It’s a Worm and Big Hero 6 crossover that I’ve mentioned before here. Taylor is tossed into the realm where Calhan’s daughter is at the end of Worm as Hiro and Baymax are saving her. They grab her as well and she heals. Find out how a former villain helps out the world’s first hero team. And are those new parahumans popping up? This is completed!

PoGo Tour Kalos! and Other Info

Hello everyone! As I said, this is late because I went to the Pokémon Go Tour at the Rose Bowl Stadium and the fact I’ve had things going on during the week so far that have made it so I didn’t have time to post until now. I’ll talk about that in a second, but I wanted to let everyone know that I’m taking a break from posting for a week to update the archive links. I don’t know how long ago I last caught up on the links, so I’m going to make sure they’re caught up through this post. I’ll probably also make a list of the stories from the current quest. Maybe one for my favorite fanfics/books/anime and one for what I’m listening to as well. Basically, my next post will probably be on the 8^th of March.

I also made a promise to my anime group that I’d post the first chapter of my fanfic this month, so I’ll probably post that on the 28^th. Its name is Theurgy Thru Replevy and my handle on fanfiction.net is TheReader2011 and on AO3 is TheReader2017. As a reminder, it’s a Cardcaptor Sakura and My Hero Academia crossover. Basically, Izuku becomes the new Cardcaptor, but it brings most if not all of the characters from Cardcaptor Sakura into the MHA world, eventually (and maybe not all in this first ‘book’). I’m going to work on the description, and I want one of my alpha(?) readers to give me a little feedback back at least on the first chapter. However, my first choice isn’t doing it, and my other four are busy themselves. I hope one of the two I’ll see on Saturday will at least give me some about the first few chapters. I’ll be looking for an actual Beta reader when I post it.

Anyway, onto the Go Tour, I got 16ish new shinnies including Xerneas, 2 Furfrou, 2 of the 4 Hat Pikachus (one gender for each hat) and some Unowns. I walked a lot and my legs are finally almost back to normal. I didn’t really interact with anyone, but that was fine. I’ll have another chance at getting more this weekend with the Global version. I got back on Monday night and was tired, so I didn’t work on this. Tuesday, I had to work on my church’s website because even though I’ve handed the upkeep to others, they didn’t know how to do something, so it fell to me. Yesterday I had another event and so it falls to today.

Work’s been fine, I’m by myself for today and tomorrow and of course this is when it gets busy. I’m not looking forward to when my supervisor gets back on Monday because he set something up right before he left on vacation and didn’t explain it very well. We asked his supervisor (and the one who’s in charge of us while he’s gone) if she knew what he wanted with it. She took off the notices he put on our desks because she didn’t feel he should set something up, not explain it, then go on vacation. However, he and I get in before she does and I’m not looking forward to having to explain why they’re not there if she hasn’t notified him beforehand.

So, my listening schedule was messed up for a little while because of the Go Tour. My text to speech app takes a lot of power and I only brought one battery pack with me (because that’s all we were supposedly allowed). I used an old phone, but it didn’t have some of the newer ones I put on the app (like the EiS and Mobuseka crossover I mentioned recently). So I just listened to Hogwarts- An Escalation by Temporal Knight. This on is a Harry Potter and Worm crossover. A slightly AU Taylor is transported to the Greengrass’ manor during a confrontation with Bakuda (who also comes along and is killed). After she figures out she’s not in Kansas anymore, she agrees to be the Greengrass sister’s bodyguard at Hogwarts. How will 5^th year HP deal with the Queen of Escalation? Read and find out, slightly, as it only has 17 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2023.

I only had two changes I had in my actual schedule last week, the first was that I finished with Solidarity Among Students, Class 1-A Edition by Jetstream and had a quick listen to Weasley Brothers’ Enterprises by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a short four-chapter story where Harry asks first year, why don’t the Weasley siblings do more to earn money if they need it. He gives them suggestions and they run with it. It’s complete and a fun little story. I didn’t start the new story after that until this week, so I’ll wait until the next post to announce the replacement.

The second was that I finished Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Game is Tough for Mobs vol 1and decided to listen to (you guessed it) The Eminence in Shadow Vol 1 by Daisuke Aizawa. Listening to the light novel gives me a bit more insight into characters (especially the Seven Shades). The first volume goes through the school invasion arc, so there’s a lot to work through. Cid, or Shadow, is basically the same, just maybe a little more straightforward (like actually asking Gamma for money, but taking more than the grabbed even though he offered him a lot more).

Onto the quest, first is Enough by White Angel of Auralon. It’s a Harry Potter fic I first mentioned here. Harry has been hiding his real skills from everyone as he knows that Dumbles and his supposed friends aren’t looking out for him. He takes him NEWTS right after he passes his OWLS and escapes from England. Voldie is still defeated, but not by Harry. It’s a fun little completed 8-chapter story.

Second is Equus by sakurademonalchemist. This is a KHR and Harry Potter crossover I’ve mentioned before here. Fem Harry (Harmony) escapes from England after her 5^th year and lives in Italy as a horse rancher. However, this leads her to meet and eventually marry Dino Cavallone. Everything is great, until England comes knocking. It’s an interesting fic with 17 chapters, but is, of course, incomplete and hasn’t updated since 2017.

Third is Erazerhead – The Unknown Hero by Clouds (myheadinthecoudsnotcomingdown). This one is a MHA fic where Izuku finds a piece of Eraserhead’s capture weapon and accidentally becomes a vigilante. However, no one knows except him, as they all think he’s the real one. It has 7 chapters and is still being updated every once in a while. The author has also indicated that it will only have 15 chapters.

Third is Escape From the Hokage’s Hat by anothvortex. It’s another Missing Hokage Naruto fic where he’s kicked out after bring back Sasuke that I’ve mentioned before here. In this one, Shizune, Tsunade and Hinata join him. They end up many different places and it currently ends up with the Hidden Village of the Star arc. It’s a good read and has 42 chapters, however it was last updated in 2012.

Fourth is Eternal Sands by sakurademonalchemist. This is a Harry Potter and Aladdin crossover. Fem Harry (Acacia) finds Jafar’s lamp and releases him. They get along well and end up together (the author tells Aladdin from Jafar’s perspective with more world building). There’s more to it, but more importantly, this one is actually finished with 11 chapters.

Fifth and finally is Even the Wizards Must Pay Their Due by Gamma Cavy. This is Harry Potter and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover. The Harry Potter world is ‘Outside’ and Ed and Al are sent to investigate. Dumbles tries to control Ed and he snaps the Deathstick and steals young Harry. When the wizards eventually get to the FMA world, the main battle is done and they’ll learn, as the title says. It’s complete with 16 chapters.

Digimon Can Make You Late Reprise

Hello, everyone! Sorry this is late again, and for mostly the same reason, as the title says. My supervisor finally allowed us to start sending everything out on Wednesday and it kept me busy through the end of the week. Then I spent most of the weekend continuing to work on Digimon: Time Stranger. I forgot to continue writing until I was getting ready for bed yesterday and was tired and didn’t want to stay up. I’ve been trying to get as far as I can because from Wednesday night on, I’m most likely going to be playing Pokémon Legends Z-A.

Onto the listening changes, first is I finished By the Grace of the Gods Vol 2. I decided as I was pressed for time at that moment to relisten to In Another World With My Smartphone Vol 1 on Audible. It’s an isekai about Touya Mochizuki a teenager who was accidentally killed by God. God reincarnated him at the same age in a magical world with his smartphone. Follow Touya as he learns magic and meets several girls who are interested in him.

I also finally finished Taylor Varga by mp3.1415player! Going by the Fanfiction.net chapters, there were 432, but that includes … as I was writing this I looked at the Sufficient Velocity threadmarks and learned there were over twenty chapters or interludes not on Fanfiction.net. I’ll have to add them and listen to them soon. Well anyway, I changed to another Worm fic by the same author, Fyre, Fyre, Burning Skitter. A slightly AU Taylor gets transported to a slightly AU Harry Potter universe during the fight at the Dept. of Mysteries. She promptly proves her title of Queen of Escalation and kicks and takes names. Watch as she gathers a new swarm and tries to get home. Unfinished and not updated in over a year, but worth the read.

I also got to a point in Princess of Mandalore by L4 of the West by that I wanted to read and not listen as I knew it was the slide to where things start to really go wrong. I then switched to another Youjo Senki crossover from the same author, but this time with Bleach. In A Young Reaper’s Afterlife, Tanya is killed by Mary and Being X agreed he had messed things up, so he decides to send her friends to the same place he will her, where he can’t interfere. It turns out that this is Soul Society. However, they were not all sent to the same time and it looks like she’s one of the last ones. It’s a Tanya/Visha pairing, Don’t Like, Don’t Read.

Now, to the quest: First is Campione of the Shinju by fg7dragon. It’s a Naruto and Campione! Crossover. Things go badly during the battle with Kaguya and Sasuke dies. He gives his power to Naruto and in trying to take her out, he transports them to the Campione! Universe. He kills her and ends up a Campione. Follow Naruto as he tries to find his way home. It has 7 chapters and is fun, but sadly hasn’t been updated since 2017. They haven’t updated any fic since 2018. However, I think they’re still around as some of their favorite stories were published in 2022 and 2023.

Second is Can’t See the Forest for the Trees by Dlldarkwolf. This is a My Hero Academia fic where fem. Izuku (Izumi) never got One for All. It’s set after the kids graduated and Shoto never started using his fire side. Izumi has somehow adopted Eri and is the Vigilante Forest. Follow as two lost souls find each other. It’s unfinished, but has 14 interesting chapters.

Third is Canary by cloud_nine_and_three_quarters. It’s another My Hero Academia fic. Izuku thinks he’s quirkless for the longest time. However, when he sings Set Fire to the Rain while it’s raining, the rain becomes fire. He learns that his quirk allows him to have get different affects when he sings different songs. He gets into UA’s general course and aims to get to the Hero course. This one is awesome, has links to YouTube for the songs and is complete! A rarity as you can tell.

Fourth is Captured in Her Eyes by White Angel of Auralon. This is a Naruto fic loosely based on the Detective Conan movie of the same name and is one of their older fics. Academy Student Hinata sees a murder on a trip with the class to an amusement park. She loses her memory of it and Naruto must help protect her from the murderer who wants to silence her before she gets back her memory. It’s also complete, but is a product of their learning writing ability.

Fifth is Cardcaptor Izuku by Myven_Nightshade. This is the other Cardcaptor Sakura and My Hero Academia fic that inspired me to write mine. Izuku finds the Sakura Card book in a shop and buys it. He opens it and sends the cards out with Windy like Sakura did (mine doesn’t do that). Kero comes out to complain and the whole set is put down as his quirk. He has to work to capture the Cards, to the displeasure of the heroes and cops. He’s still working on it while in the Hero Course. It’s unfinished with 39 chapters and hasn’t updated since 2022.

Sixth and final for today is Careless Talk by sbmcneil. It’s a Harry Potter one-shot. Harry and Ginny get close in fourth year and Hermoine and Ron accidentally let out the secret that Sirius was an Animagus and it led to Sirius’ death. It’s set from Hermione’s point of view telling her husband what happened. It’s sad, but follows the cread, ‘Careless talk costs lives’.

Now I’m tired after a long day I’m sure I’ll talk about next week. I’ll do my best to make sure my new game doesn’t make it late. As always, My Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key!

Cleaning Can Make You Late!

Hello again, readers! Sorry, the post is a day late. It’s been a somewhat busy week. Work’s been middlingly busy and I’m still getting ready for a friend to come visit (this is the main reason it’s late). Rearranged my book collection to fit it in my bookshelves, though some went into storage for a bit. I guess five bookshelves with five shelves and three stacks of books on each shelf isn’t enough, oh well. Should probably read some of them so I can up them in storage if needed, or get rid of them? But that’s hard…

Anyway, listening to changes – I finished By the Grace of the Gods Vol 1 and got the new vol of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear on Audible, Vol 4. In it, Yuna opens up a shop selling bread, pizza and other foods. However, it’s more than she thought to take care of it, so she has to deal with that. Also, she goes to a seaside town for seafood and finds it’s been taken over. What will she do?

I also finished Back to the Beginning by Aliandris and started One for All and Eight for the Ninth by griffinguy24. I know that the story is locked, so unless you have a AO3 account, you probably won’t be able to read it. It’s a My Hero Academia story where One for All reaches singularity before Izuku starts the UA exam, so he can hear the previous users from the start. They help him learn how to use his new quirk and slightly changes the exam. However, now he’s mentally linking with girls through the previous users. Where did this quirk come from and what can it do? Find out in the 78 chapters of this fic. It’s incomplete and hasn’t updated since February, but I have hope it will be completed!

I managed to learn that Boku no Hero Academia – Heroism and Villainy At Its Best has been taken down. However, I still have the link – https://m.fanfiction.net/s/13012070/1/Boku-No-Hero-Academia-Heroism-Villainy-At-Its-Best. And if you put it in https://fichub.net/ it will still give you the two chapter story. Apparently, it was written by EnderLance and based on his profile, he did a mass wipe of his stories. I don’t know why, but I’m glad I kept my copy!

So, onto the quest, first is Bolt From the Blue by Umei no Mai. It’s a Katekyo Hitman Reborn fic with a Self-Insert (SI) character, usually the author putting themselves into the story. In this one, a thirteen-year-old girl with messed up memories ends up meeting a young Xanxus. She ends up becoming his first Guardian and changes things. It’s a very interesting seven chapters and done as well!

Second is Bonds Across Time by sakurademonalchemist. This one is a KHR and InuYasha crossover I’ve talked about before here. It’s worth a read, but only has twelve chapters and is obviously incomplete.

Third is Books from the Future 1-6 by I honestly don’t remember. This is from the early days of Fanfiction, the original reading fics that had the actual book text in them (which is wrong, and illegal). I managed to save some of them before they were taken down and they were on the list so I reread them. This one has the HP books sent from the future to the Weasley family to read when Harry would be around 7ish. It starts off with just the Weasleys, but others join. What I have goes through the chapter “A Very Frosty Christmas” in Book 6 where the Minister uses Percy to talk to Harry. It’s a nostalgic read and middling of the ones I have, I have those that are better and definitely those that are worst.

Fourth is Breaking Point by Epeefencer. It’s a Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley two-shot. In it, Harry reaches his breaking point against Snape and his magic lashes out. Ginny is the only one who can get to him and help him calm down. It’s about the explosion and the aftermath. A nice little healing fic.

Fifth is Breaking the Gilded Cage by sakurademonalchemist. It’s a KHR and Natsume’s Book of Friends crossover that I first mentioned here. Fem Tsuna ends up back in time and decides to get away from the Vongola. She changes things and becomes Natsume and learns she’s also a descendent of the same family of Luce and takes the Sky Pacifier instead of Aria. It’s an interesting seventeen chapters but is incomplete as always.

Sixth is Bright as the Sun by sabertoothhousecat. It’s a MHA fic where Izuku doesn’t get All-For-One and instead becomes a support inventor. Uraraka is set as his bodyguard when he’s threatened by the quirkless yakuza. He doesn’t think he needs one, but they have a connection really quickly. However, things aren’t always as they seem and who’s that vigilante? It great and complete!

Finally is brilliant lights will cease to burn (by my hand i’ll reignite them) by novalotypo. This is one of the inspirations for my MHA/Cardcaptor Sakura fic. In this one, Izuku become the Cardcaptor before he would meet All Might, but he becomes disillusioned with Hero society and decides to fight against it. It doesn’t help that he has some memories from a future self that made a deal with Yuuko the Dimensional Witch that Sakura interrupted. This isn’t covered much, because it’s revealed mostly in the fourteenth chapter (the last current one). It was last updated in 2018.

Sorry It’s Late, I was Tired

(posting this on Monday because I’m tired and I can’t finish this Sunday) It’s been a hot week and I’ve worked outside in an inside garage for a few days, so I’m a bit tired. I also met the new person in the position I mentioned previously and she seems nice, but I haven’t had much interaction with her. The creative group I’m a part of hasn’t meet for last week or this week, but I did set aside time to work on my Cardcaptor Sakura/My Hero Academia fanfiction. I’m almost done with chapter 6!

Remember I promised I’d start posting it after I had 10 chapters complete, but I need to get them beta read. I’ve been hoping to have my creative group help me a little bit, but I may need to go further afield and contact an old friend that I haven’t talked to recently. She and I have had our differences, but hopefully she’ll at least listen.

So my thoughts on Fantastic Four: First Steps –

I thought all the actors did a good job of portraying all the characters that I knew about well. Reid was the thoughtless scientist who doesn’t get emotions but is trying. He also likes to know all the variables and was frustrated when their son kept eluding his scans. I liked his statement about how he has to think of all the bad things so that he can be prepared to deal with them when they come.

Susan was the wife who knows who Reid is, but still gets frustrated with him for how he does things. She does get emotions and uses that to deal with the crowd that wanted her to give up their son to save them from Galaticus. Her dying and coming back wasn’t expected, but to be honest, I don’t know much about Franklin.

Ben being the most emotionally adept tracks. The heart of gold in the stone body is an apt description. The fact he has to shave his rock beard is very amusing. Of course he had to have a lady he likes that he meets up with before the final battle. Johnny forcing him to say “It’s Clobbering Time” is great.

Johnny is often portrayed as an irreverent womanizer. He did chase after the Herald, but he showed that he does have more than the emotional range of a teaspoon (If you don’t get this, I am judging you, fair warning). He was the only one who thought much about the recording from space and used them and the phrase the Herald gave him to turn her to their side. The fact he was willing to sacrifice himself for the earth got through to her and she pushed Galaticus through the portal.

Overall, a pretty good movie and an interesting transition into the new Avengers movies as currently there isn’t any connection between this universe and the main MCU one.

Onto what I’m listening to changes – after The Analyst by aicyel, I started listening to the My Hero Academia series The Rabbitverse by ShadowedSword13. I skipped the first fic for now as it’s set later than most of the other fics in the series. It’s the main story, but I like the backstory first even it’s fragmented.

It’s starts in class 1-A’s first year and is told in the format of reports of a vigilante that’s later named Rabbit (Izuku) and the heroes that interact with him as he’s later classed as a villain (though he’s more grey than that). I’m currently on Falling in the Dark (For The Girl He’ll Never Get). It’s snipets of Rabbit finding out about and falling in love with Uravity. It also gives some context to where he is and what he’s doing between Rabbit Tracks and the main fic.

I listened to Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Vol 2 on Audible. It was fun and it’s more about Yuna getting used to the new world she’s in and getting to know the people around her better, including the local lord and his daughter. She even find the chicken equivalent, gets eggs and makes her own business with them.

I’m now on Reincarnated as a Sword Vol 12. Fran and Teacher just went through a big battle with the main body of the fallen Godsword, but the battle isn’t done yet. They still have to save their friend and another has become the new body for the Godsword. How will they and the capital make it through this without falling themselves?

I decided that Death March in the Parallel Rhapsody light novel was changing too much from the web novel to continue listening to instead of reading after vol 20, so I’ll read the last 3 currently available ones instead. So I started listening Using the Force Made Easy by Fencer22. It’s a Star Wars fanfic set in-between Episode I and II. John Kesel a former Jedi youngling who escapes before being sent to the Agri-Corps decides to get revenge on the Jedi by releasing Force How-To videos. He explains about how to connect to the Force and even how to strengthen your connection to the Force. The Jedi Council finds out about it not too long after they send Obi-wan and Anakin to look into him. They end up joining his ship crew to observe him and because he makes Anakin question what balance is. Its great and has 24 chapters. It hasn’t updated since Dec 24, but they author updates infrequently.

Finally after Chaos and Shadows by sakurademonalchemist, I started Fate: Hammer Time by TedTheRabbit. It’s technically a Natsu verse and Marvel crossover, but only at the beginning and slightly. Marvel Thor (MCU or not) is at the end of his long life and The One Above All asked him long ago to send all of his power to the next wielder of Mjölnir. He sends the hammer to the next wielder with the last of his strength and it ends up with Shiro Emiya. Shiro is still in middle school and now has the power of Thor, what does he do but become a Hero of Justice. It has 64 chapters and was updated earlier this month. It’s supposed to be the start of a multiverse of other anime characters who will eventually get other powers from the Marvel verse but that’s in the future (they’re mentioned as potential wielders, but you can figure out who they are based on the descriptions).

Onto the quest, I’m finally finishing the A’s! First is Ascension Book One: Bloodline by megamatt09. [*Content Warning*] This author’s fics typically have a lot of sex in them. This one specifically has underage sex. The premise is that wizards mature early and need sex to reach their magical potential. I’m not agreeing with it, but I’m willing to put it aside as suspension of disbelief. [*Content Warning*] It’s a Harry Potter and DC universes crossover. Harry is the product of one of Zod’s experiments that gets Lily pregnant with his son (there’s more to it, but the story eventually explains that). He goes to Hogwarts, but only after passing his high school education. He gets together with many women from the Wizarding World, but ends up in Gotham after he graduates. It has 38 chapters and is complete. I’ve talked about it before here.

Second is its sequel Ascension Book Two: Eternal by megamatt09. It has the same warnings, but not the underage anymore (I think, it’s been a while). This mostly deals with Harry dealing with DC characters and there’s a world change that mostly wipes out the wizarding world and changes young Clark female (for later). It finally ends after 354 chapters (though the last ones are all sex). There’s room for a another sequel, but it hasn’t been written yet.

Third is Ashes Just Reward by The Warmongers of Simora. It’s a Pokémon fanfic set in Alola. Ash is having fun with the class even he already knows most of the information. However, the Legendaries of world want to thank Ash for all his help over the years. This is the story of Ash getting his rewards and what’s this about a secret organization keeping track of him? It has 49 interesting chapters, but sadly hasn’t been updated since 2021.

After that is Ashes of the Past by Saphroneth. It’s a Pokémon time travel fic that I talked about in my second post, here. It has 305 chapters now, but also sadly hasn’t updated since 2021.

Next is the sequel to Another Little White Lie by rayrae118, Woven in My Soul. You may ask, why this one, it’s because the third story in the series is the next one, but this needs to be mentioned first. It follows the next movie in the Star Trek 2009 storyline, with changes. Then is Ashes to Flame by rayrae118. It follows the final film, but also manages to deal with the an old villain from the first of the series. This is the last in the series.

Following that is Ashikabi no Shinobi by The Engulfing Silence. It’s a Naruto and Sekirei crossover where Naruto is immortal and he ends up taking Minato’s place in the game by accident. Things aren’t going to be happy that’s for sure, but it works out in the end. It’ completed with 43 chapters and a bit chaotic.

Then is Ashikabi of Thunder and Lightning by SeerKing. This is a Sekirei fanfic where things change from the beginning. Minato’s mom, Takami decides that if she can’t keep her son out of her boss’s game, she’ll help him. She convinces the Thunder Twins No. 11 and 12 to meet her son before they find Seo. This changes things and he gets them as his first Sekirei. It’s ongoing and was last updated early this year. I also talked about it before here.

After that is Aspect by DeusVerve. It’s a My Hero Academia fanfic. Izuku doesn’t get a quirk, but he does get magic. From Death, when he almost dies to the sludge villain. He just has to help those she tells him to. It’s an interesting set up, but the author hasn’t updated since chap 7 in 2022.

Following that is Aspirations by megamatt09. [*Content Warning*] As previously mentioned, this author has sex scenes, though much less than his other ones. There is slightly underage sex scenes, but it’s not as bad as the ones in the other story. [*Content Warning*] In this Harry Potter fic, Hermione and Ron don’t believe Harry when his name comes out of the Goblet of Fire. This leads Ginny to help him, and many different changes happen. Including a greyer Harry and Ginny and Hermoine even gets into Dark Magic. It’s completed and is one of his earlier fics.

Third to last is Ataraxia by a1lvera5hley. It’s a My Hero Academia and How to Train Your Dragon crossover. Hiccup is reborn as Izuku. Toothless even follows him as a cat that can turn into his dragon form. It’s sadly incomplete with 23 chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2021.

Second to last is Aura Heart Journey by Kairomaru. It’s another Pokémon fic. In this one, Trainers start later and are more mature. Ash starts his journey with Pikachu, but he makes friends with him fast because of his Aura powers that he’s trained. It’s a good fic, but at least on hiatus and hasn’t been updated since 2022. It still has 39 chapters.

Last of the A’s is Avatar Taylor by Dalxein. It’s a Worm and Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover. When Aang dies in Book 2, Raava gathers the energy to create a new Avatar, but lets it go when Aang is brought back. It’s found by the Queen Administrator and changes what it can do and what it wants to do. I like it a lot and I’m waiting for the next chap. I’m fairly sure it’s still updating, but the last chapter was put out in Dec. 2024.

Hello … It’s me again, again.

To anyone who’s still reading this, I have returned once again. Not so long of a break, but it’s not like I wasn’t writing. I’ve been slowly working on my own fanfiction, but I’ve currently paused writing chapters as I plot out some things. But more on that later.

So, Matt, what have you been doing since we last saw you? Well, many things. I mentioned how I was in a temp position higher up in my company, well I’m no longer in it. Not too long after the last post, my co-worker who was in the same position as me in my official position quit. So, I had to go back and do that job again, while doing what I could of the other position. When I heard that my somewhat former temp position was becoming permanent and accepting applications, I of course applied. Only to be denied and told my previous experience wasn’t enough and that someone else had a better interview.

Needless to say, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about that. Especially that my pay was brought down to a little more than previous levels. This is the fourth time I’ve tried to move up in the company since I joined officially a few months over three years ago and been told no. Three times to the IT department and this one in my own department. It doesn’t make me feel good about myself and being told by the upper echelons of my department that they appreciate me and what I do doesn’t mean much. It’s your actions not your words that matter.

I understand what they said I could have done better in my interview. However, understanding doesn’t mean I have to like or accept it. I think I’ve done a good job in my life of seeing both sides of the story, so I do understand, I just wish that years of work (including one in that position) meant more or that the interview wasn’t so highly weighted. Just because I can see parts of both sides doesn’t mean I agree with both or either. The recent election being one example. This is the only thing I am going to say about it. I am not a member of either party because quite frankly I think both sides have too much hate, propaganda, and disunity. Did I vote? Yes, because it was my right. Am I going to say on this blog which way I voted? Hell no. Topic closed; I will not discuss it again. If you leave a comment or message me about it, I will find out how to ban your email from interacting on the blog again. I don’t need that argument on my blog.

Moving on, for the job, I’m still going to stay and work where I am. I’m working on relearning Spanish because it’s prevalent where I live and it might help. Does it mean that I’m not going to leave if things stay the way they are? That’s for the future.

As I was saying last time, I’m working on one of my famous (infamous?) quests and I plan to finish this one. Though it‘ll be a while before it’s complete. It’s been a few years and I’m only in the middle of the stories starting with L on the reading list and I’m finished with the listening list. That doesn’t mean I’m not still listening to stories/fanfiction.

The one i’m listening to at the moment in my rotation is Code Geass: The Prepared Rebellion V2 by Seerking. I’ve talked about it before here, but it’s still good and been updated recently! The next is an audio book of the Japanese light novel – Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing by Hamuo (no link because I was listening to the official audiobook). It’s a fun story about a gamer who wanted a harder game and ended up reincarnated as a Summoner in another world. But things aren’t easy because he has to work 100 times harder than others to level up because he’s in Hell Mode. There are 7 volumes out in the US and I’m re-listening to volume 2.

Next is Harry Potter and the Daft Morons by Sinyk. And old classic I like to reread and is sadly still uncompleted. I talked about it several times, but never really described it. It’s an evil Dumbles story where Harry uses the first task to show most of wizarding Britain how they are Daft Morons and start the take down of the leaders of the light and dark. It’s a Harry/Hermione/Daphne/Fleur story for those that are interested.

Following that is an amusing light novel series called Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life! By FUNA (again no link because I was reading the official release). A senior high school girl saves the life of a child who will do great things in the future at the cost of her life. As a reward the God watching over the child sends her to another world with anything she wants. After seeing how being exceptional leads her life to be in her previous life, she only asks to be average. The God agrees, but instead of average by human standards, he does it in average of all life on her new world. With ‘average’ abilities and her lack of common sense, this is a hilarious story. There are 18 volumes available in the US. I’m re-listening to volume 6. It’s not an actual audio book though, just the pdfs in voice dream.

Next is Mauling Snarks by CmptrWz. It’s completed and still really amusing and interesting as all of CmptrWz’s stories are. I’ve talked about it previously here. Next is History’s Strongest Disciple Again? By azndrgn. One of the few Kenichi fanfics I’ve read and I beta read this one! I talked about it previously here. Finally, the last on the rotation is the translated web novel for Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody. This is another isekai story about a game designer who ends up in another world with cheat abilities and has no idea how he got there or de-aged. I plan to read the light novel version after to compare them. I’m re-listening to ‘Chapter’ 14 of 18. I put it in quotation marks because each chapter has many parts in it. For example, Chapter 14 has 47 parts, 4 intermissions and a side story. It also has a one season anime.

You may say, but Matt, why do you have so many in your rotation? Because I like making things harder on myself? Heck if I know, things kept building up and that’s how it is.

To continue on about the reading/listening list, next one in the A’s was a Harry Potter one-shot. Let me leave a warning before the title, this is a smut fic. It’s a three-some between Harry, Ginny and Luna. It’s rated M for a reason. It’s called A Birthday Surprise by Epeefencer. The main reason it’s even on here is because I’ve put all of Epeefencer’s works on Voice Dream.

The following one, I had to start with a story farther down the list because it’s a sequel. I’ve talked about the first three in the series before: it’s The Last Mage of Krypton series by TheBeardedOne. I had to listen (because these are ones I listened to) the first one The Last Mage of Krypton and the second one Rising from the Shadows and the third one A Distant Storm before I got to the last one and the one I was aiming for. I previously talked about all three here.

The last one of this series is A Challenge Unexpected. It’s an interesting ending to the series with the potential to continue if he or someone else wants to. Harry of course ends up in the Triwizard Tournament, but with Riddle, Grindelwald and their lackies out there and Draco to be his Luthor; what will happen?

Then there’s A Christmas Surprise by Artist 111. I actually found this one because of the author’s other story, which will be talked about at a later point. It’s a cute little Harry Potter two-shot about Harry and Ginny’s first pregnancy and a slight reuniting with relatives. Worth a read.

Followed by A Cry For Help by Epeefencer. This is also a Harry Potter one-shot, but is not anything like the previous one by this author. It’s a cute little hurt/comfort short about Harry going to McGonagall about why he doesn’t want to go back to his relatives. There’s a small amount of Harry/Ginny, but it’s just the first real meeting between the two. Fun little fic.

The last one I’ll talk about now is one of ack1308’s newer stories, A Darker Path. It’s a Worm fanfic about Taylor getting a different power set when she Triggers. This time is Path to Ending. It’s kind of like Path to Victory, but about finishing something. This can be used to make sure someone/something dies or kills their villain career. Far warning, there is lots of character death, but it’s still within the T rating. Still updates occasionally.

For the Manga Club I’m in, we next added Perfect World by Aruga Rie, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku by Fujita and Kaguya-sama: Love is War by Aka Akasaka. These were added by female members that were at the first meeting and never showed up again. Me, being a bibliophile, obviously read them (though I’m still the only one who’s reading all the books on the list), but I kept it to the book we were on.

Perfect World is about Tsugumi Kawana who meets her high school crush Itsuki Ayukawa at her job. However, things have changed drastically for him as he’s now in a wheelchair do to a spinal cord injury from an accident. It’s a love story about two people dealing with their physical and emotional issues. I’ve only read the first two volumes (because it was dropped as I was the only one reading it), but it’s interesting and I’ll pick it up again sometime.

Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku is also set in the workplace and Narumi and Hirotaka are childhood friends. However, they’re both different types of otaku (nerds). She loves gay manga and he’s a gamer. She’s trying to hide it because she keeps getting rejected whenever friends and boyfriends find out. This is their and their friend’s love story. A good read. The club dropped it after book 4, for the same reason, but I finished it as it only had 6 volumes.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is another love story, but this time between the president and vice-president of the high school student counsel of a very highly rated school. The male lead, Miyuki Shirogane is from a poor background, but is always on the top of mock tests. The female lead, Kaguya Shinomiya, is from a wealthy house and competes with him. They both like each other, but refuse to be the first one to share it, because Love is War. Most chapters are styled as a ‘fight’ with a winner told at the end of each one. This is very amusing in the anime as well. It’s finished in Japan, but all the volumes aren’t in the US yet. We dropped this one much later (we got to the 7^th volume), again for the same reason (though the main other person reading it just stopped). We added more after that, but that’s for next time.

It’s finally time to talk about what I mentioned at the beginning, my fanfic. It’s an MHA and Cardcaptor Sakura crossover. I’ve read a few (and they’ll be talked about in my quest), but all of them are unfinished and not currently updating. I liked the concept and decided to try it myself, several years ago. However, I got busy and didn’t do anything with it for a while. However, the same group that has the manga club has a creators meeting that has recently been meeting weekly. I’ve been going when I can and working on it. I have 4 or so chapters, but like I said I’ve paused to write the order in which he captures the cards and an outline of how he does. I’m going to do that with most if not all of the cards, then I’ll go back and flush it out.

I’m not going to explain much other than at least the main cast of Cardcaptor Sakura will also be in it even if it’s set in the MHA universe and Izuku is the new cardcaptor. When I’ve got 10 chapters and the base for the rest of the first part (capturing the cards), then I’ll post it. When, not if, I do this, you’ll be the first to know.

Finally, games! Still waiting on information on either of the Kingdom Hearts’ games. Missing Link should have been out already, but there’s been no information for months. I’m looking forward to Pokemon Legends Z-A, but that’s not until next year. I’ve gotten Dragon Ball Z: Sparkling Zero and it’s been fun. Not been focused on it, but I’ve gotten through the first part of Super with all characters, but haven’t done most of the AU stories.

I’m Finally Back

Hello, my loyal intrepid readers! … Yes, I’m aware it’s been a llllooooooonnnnngggggg time. I’m very sorry!!! There was more than one reason for this. As I mentioned before, I am slightly depressed. I deal with this mostly by getting out of my head and into stories. My need to do this overwhelmed me and I didn’t write for a few weeks. As the weeks went by it got harder and harder to think about posting because I was angry about not posting previously … Yeah, it’s a vicious cycle. It’s hard to fight even now. Stories and other things I could be doing even now are working to distract me.

I also joined a Barbershop quartet chorus (as I now realize I mentioned briefly about in one of my last posts), though I didn’t fully join until later last year, but I am still with it. Though with the ‘social distancing,’ practices have been cancelled for a while and the competition we were practicing for was cancelled as well, so whenever this ends, I’ll go back.

I’m still at the same job, which still has long hours and is exhausting. Though we’ve been low on work since before this whole virus thing, so I’ve had some time to do things around the house. I’m still going to work, because apparently my work is ‘essential’ even though where I live and work are on stay at home orders (two different ones, one for my city and another for the county I work in). I personally don’t think it is, but that’s me, maybe to someone else it’s essential. Not that I don’t want the work, it’s just my thoughts on matter.

I’m also in charge of streaming my church service via a private server because of the virus. It was a sudden decision and it’s working fine, just also takes some of my time. I’m not going to post anything about it here, because it’s private and mostly for my church members.

Anyway, moving on to what this blog is about, books and movies and stuff. I have watched and read and rewatched and reread so many things since I last posted, I’m not even going to try list them all and it would take a long time. Currently, I’m watching a guy reading through Homestuck on Youtube (though it was originally on twitch). It’s the channel Jeff Brenneman and it’s pretty amusing – This is the first episode. I figured it’d been a while and I should reread it but wanted to watch someone else do it at the same time.

I’ve also been reading the Dr. Stone manga after having watched the first season of the anime. It’s fun and sciencey (yes, I’m aware it’s not a word). I also watched Cardcaptor Sakura for the first time in Japanese. I also learned that another studio redubbed it after the first one years ago. I understand why, many things were cut out and they changed the names. However, I do miss the original music for the first dub. It was awesome and I still have the CD for it!

I’ve been playing Pokémon Sword and Shield since they came out and have all the new Pokémon and most of the Gigantamax forms (I’m missing three and one of them is in the current event that just started). It has two DLCs coming out, with the first one in June. I’m really looking forward to it! I also have Pokemon Home and it’s okay, just wish you could do more with the Pokemon no currently able to move from it.

Before I get to the fanfiction, I wanted to talk about an interesting anime I rewatched the first season of recently. Psycho Pass is psychological dystopian crime anime. While the rest of the world is in chaos (or so we’re led to believe, there’s not much mentioned outside of Japan and that’s only in the Movie), Japan is a ‘utopia’ because the Sybil system can read people’s Psycho Pass (aka their intentions and motives [in general terms]) and judge if they are a ‘latent criminal.’ Instead of police there are now Inspectors and Enforcers. Inspectors what you expect them to be. However, Enforcers are ‘latent criminals’ that work for the law for a little bit of freedom. Follow Akane as she becomes an Inspector and learns the reality behind their ‘utopia.’

For the Myrddin de Celestis quest, The Dragon Phoenix is a multi-crossover based on Harry Potter. It has Harry becoming the Dragon Phoenix! A role that means the world is soon to be at risk from ‘The Storm’ a mysterious tragedy that will be the end of the world unless he defeats it. Eventually a Harry/Ginny story, mostly. It has elements from Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, W.I.T.C.H, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon and more! It’s not complete and is sort of overcomplicated.

The Soul Within is a Harry Potter fic. It has Harry having a twin only he can hear that he wants to give a body to eventually. Looks to eventually have him with his twin and the Greengrasses. Only three chapters, not complete.

Shifting Destiny is a Harry Potter and X-Men crossover. It has Harry ending up married to Pixie after a trip to Vegas. He joins the X-Men and gets away from the Wizarding World. Only four chapters, not finished.

Buffy of the Rebellion is a Buffy: The Vampire Slayer fic where Buffy dies, but has her heart restarted before she even goes to Sunnydale. She escapes and learns more about the Supernatural world while learning how to defend herself. Things still happen with the new Slayer in Sunnydale. Sort of interesting, but isn’t much. Not finished.

Out of Reign is a Harry Potter fic. Harry finds his mother’s trunk in the attic after second year and learns some new things. He pretends he’s normal with the Dursley’s help to fool Aunt Marge. Not finished, only three chapters.

The next few fics are by White Angel of Auralon. Redirection is a Harry Potter fic. It’s a Marauder era fic where Sirius figures out that some of their pranks are going to too far and changes himself. A girl finds she likes his changes and they get together changing things drastically for the war. It’s interesting for only 3 chapter. It’s complete!

Changed Past is a Harry Potter one-shot. When chasing a criminal, he ends up in the past. He decides to change somethings, but not too much. It’s interesting how things can change so much and yet stay the same.

Irish Home is another Harry Potter one-shot. Harry decides to go live at one of his family’s houses instead of going back to the Dursley’s after first year. It’s about how he adjusts and meets the people around him.

The last fic I’ll mention is another new one from sakurademonalchemist. It’s a Harry Potter and Fullmetal Alchemist crossover called New Beginnings. In it, Ed is Fem Ed and Fem Harry (who is from sometime after the war) offers to cover the cost of Alphonse’s body and soul. Now a voice in Fem Ed’s head Fem Harry helps them out. Read the first chapter (at least) in the compilation fic and am looking forward to more chapters.

Quest Week (and I’m on Time!)

Hello everyone! I’m on time today, so yay! More Taylor Varga and From Fake Dreams this week. Another one full of work, including a ‘half’ day today. With the Chicago Go Fest happening, shiny Pokémon are more prevalent and Horsea and Abra (maybe Clefairy) are now shiny. The new chapters this week are: Seerking’s Asylum (Mon & Thurs), Mauling Snarks (Mon & Fri), Service with a Smile, Worm – Waterworks, Game On! 3 1, Hybrid Hive: Eat Shard?, Heroes Assemble!, Red String, Short Story Drabbles, Demon Skylark, Titanfall, Archer, Ginny’s Plan, Are You Afraid of the Dark? & Darth Vader: Hero of Naboo.

There’s not much this week, so I’ll just get to the Myrddin de Celestis quest, Chapter 51 was Rose Potter and the Mirror of Fate. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter story where Rose Potter is Harry’s hidden twin sister. They run into each other on their birthday before first year at Diagon Alley. It only really covers them shopping and going to the Weasley’s house. It’s okay, but short.

Chapter 52 is Juniper Rose Potter is a Prankster. It’s a two-chapter story where Fem. Harry has both her parents and is heading to Hogwarts. On the train she meets Ginny and they vow themselves to each other. It doesn’t go much past a different sorting hat song.

Chapter 53 is King of Bandit. It’s the longest story so far (I know a longer one later as I looked ahead) at 28 chapters originally. It’s a Harry Potter, Breathe of Fire and Dragon Ball Z crossover (though I don’t really know how DBZ fits in). Harry’s parents live, but his twin is thought to be the girl-who-lived. Harry is ignored and runs away at a young age. He meets the King of Bandit and is trained by him. He comes back around 6^th year for a stealing job and becomes the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher (but very different). He gets together with Luna, Ginny and an Original Character and sets his sister and Hermione up with OCs. It’s good, I’ve read it before and I’m sad to see it in here.

Chapter 54 is Hunters Guild and is a sort of reworked version of the previous story. It was six-chapters and is okay. Harry is taken by the ‘Hunters Guild’ when it’s learned he’s not wanted and is trained by them. After several people from the guild give up on protecting his sister because of idiots around them, Harry’s given the job. Essentially the same pairings I assume.

Chapter 55 is Order of the Covenant. It was a Harry Potter one-shot where the Potter triplets are split up to protect them and meet up on their birthday before Hogwarts. The ‘Girl-Who-Lived’ was not supposed to go to the Dursleys, but Dumbles interfered. Can’t tell how good it is because it’s only a chapter.

Chapter 56 is Demonic Wars. It was a Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon (though it’s not shown) one-shot. In the second series, Sakura is attacked by a demon after she turns Watery. This leads her to liking Tomoyo(?) and running away to protect her family. Like I said, no Sailor Moon yet.

Chapter 57 is Fade into the Shadows. It was an eleven-chapter Twilight story. Before Bella goes to Forks she learns she’s a reincarnated ninja and retrains herself. Same basic plot except that Edward and Alice switch places (yes that means he’s with Jasper, get over it). Things are different, but you’ll have to read to find out.

Chapter 58 is Uncharted Void. It was a five-chapter Harry Potter and Skulduggery Pleasant crossover (though once again, no Skulduggery Pleasant in it as far as I know). When Harry goes down the pipe to save Ginny in CoS, he ends up far deeper than he expected. He fights ancient creatures and learns things before he fights Tom. Skips most of third year and is changing the timeturner incident like the CoS.

Chapter 59 is Fallen Star. It was a two-chapter Twilight story. It’s a stupid little one where after Edward dumps her she gets powers (from a meteorite?) and ends up gathering girls to have sex with and fight evil and stupidity (I think). Yeah, don’t really like this one.

Chapter 60 is Fairytail World Tour. It’s was Harry Potter and Fairy Tale(?) one-shot. While at the DoM in Year 5 Harry ends up in the world of Fairy Tales, but things are very different. Can he fix things, who knows, it’s only a chapter.

I Got a Job! (YAY!)

Hey everyone, I finally got a job that isn’t temporary! I start on Monday and it’s a 10 hour work day so I may start posting earlier on Monday cause I start at 6 in the morning. I’ll have less time to read, but that doesn’t mean that I’ll stop posting. So look forward to many more posts my readers. I’ve decided that I’m going to create a fanfiction page where you can look through either the author’s name or originating story to find a certain fanfic. I’ll try and implement it this weekend.

This week was again more Taylor Varga while I continue to work through the web novel of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and finished rereading Demonic Jewels. No new episodes of the Slime anime yet cause that comes out on Monday. The new chapters for this week are: Flames, Reality Bites Worm, Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub, Hive Daughter, Seerking’s Asylum, Campione of the Raging Tides, A Ninja Summoned, Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Friday) & Omake(Wednesday), The Gamer, Titanfall, Raptor of the 20^th Ward, Ashes to Flame, Mending the Knots, Breaking the Guilded Cage, Angels and Demons and Taylor Varga Omake (MCU).

In the fanfiction world, I started reading (but haven’t continued cause it couldn’t fully keep my attention) ‘Forged in Hellfire: Lost Soul Reborn’ by RainthelingeringSentiment. It’s a Naruto and Mortal Kombat crossover. Mortal Kombat is an arcade game turned movie and cartoon/anime? I don’t normally pay attention to it, but the fanfic sounded interesting at first. It has Naruto falling in love with Haku on the Wave mission and sacrificing himself to save her from Kakashi’s attack. This awakens the sleeping portion of his soul that was formerly Scorpion’s (Hasashi Hanzo) and they have to merge to stay alive. The resulting personality is a mix of the two and he has to figure out who he is now. It’s a harem fic. The second one in the same situation as the first is ‘Time Traveling Prince’ by Tactition101. It’s a Naruto and Sailor Moon crossover where Naruto is Chibiusa’s older twin brother who was sent to the allied Konoha to learn. He is sent after her to help her when she goes to the past and does his best to help her. It just didn’t catch my interest that day. The only other new stories I read were, of course, more sakurademonalchemist ones! Only four this time though. The first is ‘Lost Name’ and is a crossover between Cardcaptor Sakura and Harry Potter. It has Harry being Eriol from the second series and making his own cards. Clow even gets his own body for a while. The second one is ‘Angels Among Us,’ which is a crossover between Supernatural and Ghost Rider. It has an angel that has been captured in Hell being the power behind the Ghost Rider. When Dean is in Hell, he sees the angel and becomes her vessel to break her out of Hell when he gets out. Having her around changes things and mostly for the better. Third is ‘Soul and Sword,’ a crossover between Yu Yu Hakusho and Fate/Stay Night. Shiro heard about Genkai from his father before he died, so he goes to her to help him train as a Magus. He ends up in her tournament and ends up getting training from her alongside Yusuke. Shiro unlocks his magic and learns how to be a psychic while helping Yusuke and the gang. The final on is the one I’d already read, ‘Sky Bunny.’ It’s one of the newer(ish) of their stories and is a crossover between KHR and Yu-Gi-Oh! I’ve mentioned it before, but haven’t talked about it. So, Yu-Gi-Oh! Is an anime based on a card games of the same title. The original series is about Yugi Muto, an aspiring duelist who has an old gold Egyptian puzzle necklace that looks like and upside down pyramid. This necklace has the spirit of an old Egyptian pharaoh who takes over and helps Yugi duel. He soon learns that just because it’s a game, it doesn’t make it any less real.

The story has a Fem. Tsuna becoming Yugi’s rival’s, Seto Kaiba, assistant to get away from her hometown. Seto ends up keeping her as his assistant and even transfers her to his and Yugi’s school (before the series starts). I also watched the first episodes of the anime, “Black Clover.” It’s about a young boy named Asta who wants to become the Magic King to prove a poor orphan can do it. The only problem, he doesn’t have any magic. When everyone else, including his rival Yuno, gets a grimoire and he doesn’t, he’s devastated. However, when he stands up to a magician to save his friend, he gets a grimoire that manifests a sword that cuts through magic. The one issue, it has a five-leaf clover on it. That indicates that it’s related to a demon, the very beings the original Wizard King defeated. What will happen next? I don’t know, I just started watching it, but it’s really interesting anyway.
