Lot of Updated Chapters Week (along with some Shield Hero and the Quest)

Hello my readers! It’s been a normal week for me, but that’s not what you want to hear. I’ve spent some time reading through The Rising of a Shield Hero web novel, but I haven’t finished it yet. I watched the newest episode of the anime and it’s very different, I mean the spear hero honestly seemed to believe the shield hero was framed. That doesn’t happen until much later in the web novel at least (no idea about the light novel). Anyway, listened to more Death March and evolved some new Pokémon on PoGo (still have a few to evolve, but that will take more time catching (if I can find them), walking or rare candies.

Anyway, the new chapters this week are: Relic of the Future, An Essence of Silver and Steel (one chapter and an info chap), How Eating a Strange Fruit Gave My My Quirk, History Strongest Disciple Again?, Jaune Ryu-Long, The Dragon Contractor, Mending the Knots, The Unseen Hunt, Stories of Fate, Demon Skylark (Sun, Mon & Tues), Famgilia Drabbles, Under the Sea, Black Sky (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri), Spirit Fire, Mauling Snarks (Mon & Fri), Service with a Smile, Devil Ninja, Ginny’s Plan, Son of Holmes, Darth Vader: Hero of Naboo, Swordsaint, Heroes Assemble!, Hybrid Hive: Eat Shard?, The Goblet of Fire’s Trap, Go Away I’m Watching Porn, Seerking’s Asylum, Titanfall, Ranma: Happenstance Gone Right, Marvel’s Maelstrom & Taylor Varga. (A lot this week, right?)

I started reading megamatt09’s crack fic (meaning crazy/making fun of things fanfiction) Deadpool’s New Job. It’s a silly fic set in the Harry Potter universe where Deadpool ends up as Filch’s assistant before Harry’s first year. Things go very differently … I’ve only convinced myself to read a few chapters, but it’s mostly nonsense.

I also started reading a fic I refound called RWBY: Destiny of Remnant by UGX7. It’s an RWBY fic in reaction to the end of Vol. 3 so there’s not much elements of the volumes past it in it (at least yet). Jaune, Nora, Ren and Ruby are going after Cinder in Mistral, but they meet a mysterious man a little before they get there looking for his sister. With his help they find her, but is there more to him than what there seems (yes). Also, what really happened to a certain character?

I read (what’s out) of Playing our Roles by The Grim Blade. It’s an RWBY and The Gamer crossover where someone from our world ends up in the body of (younger) Roman Torchwick. He decides to follow the path to become a great thief, but he has to prove himself and find his future partner. With his Gamer abilities, will he be able to do it?

Moving on the Myrddin de Celestis quest, Chapter 31 is Avoiding Fate. It was a two-chapter Naruto fic. In it, Naruto wakes up in the past after his fight with Sasuke in the Valley of the End and discovered he dreamed it all. However, his dream is proven right when he’s able to escape from an attack based on its knowledge. He escapes and is adopted by Tenten’s dad. Not much here, but it’s not bad.

Chapter 32 is Bridge to the EvoNet. It’s a Harry Potter and Stargate crossover. It was another two-chapter fic. The first is a long-winded connection between the Stargate past and Harry Potter past. The second is about an ignored Harry (what else?) about to start his schooling. Could be okay, but not enough here to say.

Chapter 33 is Fallen Heaven. It was a one-chapter Twilight fic. Bella is bitten by James, but becomes a Vampire Creator (yeah, cliché much). She gets together with Alice … that is all.

Chapter 34 is Carbon Blades. It was a four-chapter Harry Potter, Avengers and MCU crossover. Fem-Harry ends up married to X23 (Wolverne’s ‘daughter’) in Vegas. They spend way too much time recapping their lives and are then drafted into the Avenger (pre-Avengers). The last chapter is leading up to the first Avengers movie.

Chapter 35 is Collision Course. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter and Twilight crossover. It has Fem-Harry learning that Bella and her mom are cousins and going to live with them after fifth year. When Bella’s mom dies, they go to Forks and clash with the Cullens. Looks like the cannon pairing of Bella/Edward is there, but Fem-Harry is set up with Alice (though Ginny is also her girlfriend, but not really in the story, yet).

Chapter 36 is Deal to be Reaping. It was a single-chapter Harry Potter fic. In it, Fem-Harry dies to protect like in book 7 but learns it’s her seventh death. He says he’ll send her back with her memories and that she has soul-mates, all female. It’s okay, but only one chapter.

Chapter 37 is Distorted Time. It was a single-chapter Harry Potter and Doctor Who crossover. Harry is The Doctor’s son and Jenny (from The Doctor’s Daughter) and Susan (from the original seasons) come to him to have him fix the TARDIS they have. Could be good, but like I said, its only one chapter.

Chapter 38 is Flip. It was a two-chapter Harry Potter fic. In it Harry finds a weird coin and decides to make all of his choices based on the flip of the coin. It’s not bad, just, like I’ve said, not long enough to really see how it would go.

Chapter 39 is Lunar Eclipse. It was a two-chapter Twilight fic. Bella is ill around the ‘were’-wolves and when Jacob attacks her, is transformed into a Siren. She eats girl flesh, in both ways, and yeah, not a really big fan of this one.

Chapter 40 is Seven Dark Emperors. It was a nine-chapter Harry Potter fic. Voldemort goes to awaken the Seven Dark Emperors in the hopes they’ll help him take over the world. However, the first one rejects him and goes to train Harry. It’s interesting and a Harry/Ginny Fic. Even Luna gets someone (the emperor).

Chapter 41 is 7 Dark Emperors. It’s a carbon copy of the first but is a crossover with Skulduggery Pleasant Series. It’s only three chapters, but the emperor plans to set Harry up with Valkyrie (along with Ginny, later).

Anime Week (and the New Quest Continues)

Hey peoples! It’s once again time for Matt’s ramblings! It’s been a pretty boring week, but at least my hours are back up again. Yay! I’ve mostly been rereading (more like listening) to Death March web novel. The new chapters this week are: Relic of the Future, Less Than Zero, An Essence of Silver and Steel, Mauling Snarks (Sat, Mon & Fri), The Unseen Hunt, The Rising of the Shield Heroine, Celestial Worm, Seerking’s Asylum, Ginny’s Plan, Darth Vader: Hero of Naboo, Naruto: The Game of Life, Titanfall and Taylor Varga (Omake).

I participated in the Torchic Community Day for PoGo even though I wasn’t feeling the greatest, but I still got seven shinies! It’s raid week and tomorrow there’ll be three hours where Lapras will be available as a raid boss continually and it has a shiny chance! I watched the new anime The Rising of the Shield Hero and was honestly not that impressed (especially with the last few episodes). I’ve read the chapters that depict that battle and they drew out it, a lot. Though I have to say I’m looking for to the next episode where some characters get their comeuppance (read the princess and the King)!

I also watched what’s out for the anime Wise Man’s Grandson. It’s another transported to another world anime based off a light novel. It has a man get reborn into a new world when he dies and is taught magic by his adopted grandfather (who is very famous, but never tells the main character). He’s very powerful by the time he becomes 15, but he’s never taught anything about the common sense of the world. Watch as he goes to Magic Academy and changes the world!

Finally (for this part) I watched the first season of Overlord (another anime from a light novel based on a transported person). This one has a gamer whose favorite game is shutting down. He’s the last of his guild around and decides to stay online until the server is shut down. He changes a line in an NPC, saying that she’s in love with him. When the server is shut down, he and the base are transported to a new world. The NPC’s come to life and he is stuck as a Lich. He investigates the world and plans to spread the name of his guild Aniz Ooal Gown so if others of his guild are there, they’ll find him. There are now three seasons and 13 light novels out now.

I’ll do the new fanfics before the quest stories. The author of Mauling Snarks (CmptrWz) has a new story, Hybrid Hive: Eat Shard? It’s a Worm and Lyrical Nanoha crossover. A broken Unison device from Belka finds Taylor triggering and finding her a good match (magically) ‘eats’ the Shard. It’s interesting even though there are only three chapters so far.

Next, I read Overlord – Lich and Vampire by Seerking (because I was watching the anime). It’s the same, except another guild member logs on not long before the server shuts down and is also transported with everyone. Watch as she changes things (though not much since it’s only five chapters and hasn’t been updated since 2017).

Then, sakurademonalchemist came out with a new story (though I know it from a compliation fic), Demon Skylark. It’s a KHR and Naruto crossover where Kyouya is reborn (lol) into Naruto Uzumaki. He hates Konoha because it’s full of fake carnavores and he runs away to Suna. There he meets Fem Gaara (Gaia) and they become close. Only one chapter so far.

Onto the quest with Myrddin de Celestis, Chapter 20 is Ruby’s Fate. It was a two-chapter RWBY and Harry Potter crossover. Fem. Harry leaves her universe and ends up in the RWBY one. There’s not much here, but she ends up helping them during the end of season 2.

Chapter 21 is Hidden Paths. It was an eight-chapter Harry Potter story where after Dumbledore dies, Harry discovers that Dumbles sealed away much of his potential. It starts coming back to him in segments. He and Ginny train to put an end to the war. Then Dumbles returns. It’s okay but needs some editing. Chapter 22 (Impossible Awakening) is a different version of the first chapter (it’s better, but darker).

Chapter 23 is GHOST. It was a seven-chapter Harry Potter and Danny Phantom crossover. Danny Phantom is a really great cartoon that ended too abruptly. It’s about Danny Fenton, whose parents are ghost hunters. They build a ghost portal, but it doesn’t work. Danny accidentally fixes it, but becomes half ghost. He uses his ghost form to fight and capture the ghosts. As I said, they ended things really fast. I wish they had continued it.

Harry almost dies saving a kid and awakens his ghost side. He uses it to reveal the dark side of Hogwarts. Along with finding a painting with two more founders. It’s an okay one, but not the greatest. Chapter 24 (Spirit of the Phantasm) is the same, but different and was started after this one. It focuses on going to the Greengrass house first.

Chapter 25 is Time Will Tell. It was a Harry Potter story with five chapters. In it, Harry and Ginny have lived to a future where the war is lost. They use an artifact to go back in time but end up in their baby bodies. Not much, but it’s not bad.

Chapter 26 is Shifters. I’ve read this one a while back and it was fun. It was a twelve-chapter Harry Potter and Negima crossover. It has Harry discovering he is a shifter after second year and can change into anyone he touches. He fakes his death and makes a new identity (Eva from Negima) to give Ginny a friend. They bring changes to Hogwarts. Chapter 27 (TransShift) is a Christmas 5^th year version where he doesn’t fake his death. It’s three chapters, but no Negima crossover.

Chapter 28 is Copykitten. It was a two-chapter Harry Potter and Naruto crossover. It has Fem. Harry being hidden as a male from everyone (including herself). She has mystical eyes that allow her to copy everything she sees, including spells. Doesn’t get much past her going into the Leaky Cauldron.

Chapter 29 is Balance in the Power of Gaia. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter story where Harry is under a spell that causes people/creatures to fall in love with him. He rebels and ends up at the Creeveys. It’s kinda meh in my opinon.

The last one I’ll talk about is Chapter 30, Avenge the Lost. It was a three-chapter Harry Potter, MCU and Avengers crossover. Harry is the brother of the Boy-Who-Lived and when Death Eaters ‘kill’ his youngest sister (she is brought back but doesn’t have control of her magic) he claims he’ll have vengeance and runs away. He meets Black Widow and they have a brief fling. Years later, he returns and starts taking out DEs. It ends with Fury sending Black Widow after Harry for the Avenger Initiative.

I Got a Job! (YAY!)

Hey everyone, I finally got a job that isn’t temporary! I start on Monday and it’s a 10 hour work day so I may start posting earlier on Monday cause I start at 6 in the morning. I’ll have less time to read, but that doesn’t mean that I’ll stop posting. So look forward to many more posts my readers. I’ve decided that I’m going to create a fanfiction page where you can look through either the author’s name or originating story to find a certain fanfic. I’ll try and implement it this weekend.

This week was again more Taylor Varga while I continue to work through the web novel of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and finished rereading Demonic Jewels. No new episodes of the Slime anime yet cause that comes out on Monday. The new chapters for this week are: Flames, Reality Bites Worm, Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub, Hive Daughter, Seerking’s Asylum, Campione of the Raging Tides, A Ninja Summoned, Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Friday) & Omake(Wednesday), The Gamer, Titanfall, Raptor of the 20^th Ward, Ashes to Flame, Mending the Knots, Breaking the Guilded Cage, Angels and Demons and Taylor Varga Omake (MCU).

In the fanfiction world, I started reading (but haven’t continued cause it couldn’t fully keep my attention) ‘Forged in Hellfire: Lost Soul Reborn’ by RainthelingeringSentiment. It’s a Naruto and Mortal Kombat crossover. Mortal Kombat is an arcade game turned movie and cartoon/anime? I don’t normally pay attention to it, but the fanfic sounded interesting at first. It has Naruto falling in love with Haku on the Wave mission and sacrificing himself to save her from Kakashi’s attack. This awakens the sleeping portion of his soul that was formerly Scorpion’s (Hasashi Hanzo) and they have to merge to stay alive. The resulting personality is a mix of the two and he has to figure out who he is now. It’s a harem fic. The second one in the same situation as the first is ‘Time Traveling Prince’ by Tactition101. It’s a Naruto and Sailor Moon crossover where Naruto is Chibiusa’s older twin brother who was sent to the allied Konoha to learn. He is sent after her to help her when she goes to the past and does his best to help her. It just didn’t catch my interest that day. The only other new stories I read were, of course, more sakurademonalchemist ones! Only four this time though. The first is ‘Lost Name’ and is a crossover between Cardcaptor Sakura and Harry Potter. It has Harry being Eriol from the second series and making his own cards. Clow even gets his own body for a while. The second one is ‘Angels Among Us,’ which is a crossover between Supernatural and Ghost Rider. It has an angel that has been captured in Hell being the power behind the Ghost Rider. When Dean is in Hell, he sees the angel and becomes her vessel to break her out of Hell when he gets out. Having her around changes things and mostly for the better. Third is ‘Soul and Sword,’ a crossover between Yu Yu Hakusho and Fate/Stay Night. Shiro heard about Genkai from his father before he died, so he goes to her to help him train as a Magus. He ends up in her tournament and ends up getting training from her alongside Yusuke. Shiro unlocks his magic and learns how to be a psychic while helping Yusuke and the gang. The final on is the one I’d already read, ‘Sky Bunny.’ It’s one of the newer(ish) of their stories and is a crossover between KHR and Yu-Gi-Oh! I’ve mentioned it before, but haven’t talked about it. So, Yu-Gi-Oh! Is an anime based on a card games of the same title. The original series is about Yugi Muto, an aspiring duelist who has an old gold Egyptian puzzle necklace that looks like and upside down pyramid. This necklace has the spirit of an old Egyptian pharaoh who takes over and helps Yugi duel. He soon learns that just because it’s a game, it doesn’t make it any less real.

The story has a Fem. Tsuna becoming Yugi’s rival’s, Seto Kaiba, assistant to get away from her hometown. Seto ends up keeping her as his assistant and even transfers her to his and Yugi’s school (before the series starts). I also watched the first episodes of the anime, “Black Clover.” It’s about a young boy named Asta who wants to become the Magic King to prove a poor orphan can do it. The only problem, he doesn’t have any magic. When everyone else, including his rival Yuno, gets a grimoire and he doesn’t, he’s devastated. However, when he stands up to a magician to save his friend, he gets a grimoire that manifests a sword that cuts through magic. The one issue, it has a five-leaf clover on it. That indicates that it’s related to a demon, the very beings the original Wizard King defeated. What will happen next? I don’t know, I just started watching it, but it’s really interesting anyway.

It’s a Week to KH3!

Hey everyone! It’s been an fun weekend. No polls and I haven’t had time to work on getting the list of fanfic I’ve mentioned up yet, still figuring out how I want to do it. In PoGo news, I got a shiny Feebas on Saturday’s event but no one on my town’s chat can find this month’s Spinda task. Anyway, I continued with Taylor Varga and Drifting, along with starting to rereading Demonic Jewels and catching up with Titanfall (Fanfic). I also watched Back Cover and Kingdom Hearts 0.2, so I am completely ready for KH3 a week from now! This weekend’s new chapters were: The Gamer (Webcomic), Breaking the Guilded Cage, Angels and Demons, Relic of the Future, An Essence of Silver and Steel, Taylor Varga Omake (Sat, Sun, Mon), Headstart, Warlock, Price of Blood, The Unseen Hunt, Gun Bunny and Mauling Snarks. I also learned I need to catch up with Ashes of the Past cause it had the battle the whole fic has been leading up to in a few chapters update (not that it’s finished, just that the original point of having gone back is done).

I actually read a few new stories this weekend, so get ready, cause here they come! First is ‘Hive Daughter’ by PlateGlassArmour. It’s a Worm fic with a slight Warhammer 40,000 crossover. It has Taylor connecting to their Hive mind when she Triggers and learning how they do what they do. Next is ‘Teeth and Claws’ by TheShadowSwan. It’s a Harry Potter and KHR crossover with a fem. Harry. She has multiple personalities to deal with different parts of her life and eventually ends up with one called ‘Skull de Mort.’ She is called to the table of greatest because of another personality who was The Greatest Thief, Noir. Then, there was ‘Marvel’s Maelstrom’ by Pibbinator. It’s a Naruto and MCU crossover that has Naruto being transported to save him by Sasuke during the battle against Kaguya. He ends up landing near Kamar-Taj and the Ancient One takes him in and helps him. He wants to get back to help his friends, but can’t find out how to do it. On to more sakurademonalchemist, the first is on that is only on AO3, ‘Transcending Time and Space.’ It’s another crossover between Harry Potter and KHR and has fem. Harry being Fran from the future timeline. She gets her memories back early and leaves after her OWLS to join the Varia. After that is ‘An Angel and a Trickster,’ which is a Supernatural and Harry Potter crossover. In it, fem. Harry is depressed for her fifth year when Gred and Forge summon Loki to the castle to take care of Umbridge. Loki takes a liking to her and decides to make a deal that if he can make her happy again, she’ll go out with him. Can he win the bet or will things come crumbling down. Third is ‘Shattered Mask’ a crossover between Naruto and MCU. When the council tries to screw her over after the War, Fem Naruto takes the other Bijuu and vessels out of the Elemental Countries. They scatter, but she ends up on Asgard as a bar maid. There she meets Thor, Loki and friends. The only one she can tolerate is Loki and she decides to help him out. Fourth is ‘Crimson Typhoon,’ which is a One Piece and Naruto. Kushina’s dad is Shanks and he picks up Fem. Naruto after his parents are killed. She joins him on her crew and ends up working on her own. Oh, and something happened causing each nation to be it’s own island. Fifth is ‘Hidden Song,’ another Harry Potter and Supernatural crossover. This time though, Harry is Bobby (more aged for reasons). Watch as he helps the Winchesters out while dealing with England come for him. And this time England is not coming home! Sixth (and last that I’ve read currently of their fics) is ‘Kitsune Otome,’ which is a Mai HIME (Mai OTOME) crossover. In the battle between Sasuke and Fem. Naruto when the former is defecting, a portal is accidentally opened and she ends up in the world of Mai OTOME. She trains to become an Otome until she can go home. Moving On, I also watched “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.” The anime is only 16 episodes long now, but the web novel (turned light novel) is finished. After watching all the episodes, I started reading the web novel. Anyway, it’s about an almost 40 salary worker who saves his junior from being stabbed and gets killed. He ends up reincarnated in another world as a slime, but a powerful one. I haven’t finished it yet (by a long shot), but it’s interesting.

A Change in the Schedule

Hello my readers (the few of you there are), it’s been yet another weekend! There have still not been any votes on my poll, so my friend’s opinion looks like it will be the only one I’ll base my decision on. My next post will be the 2-week deadline, so vote now at https://linkto.run/p/24VJOOZJ if you want your opinion heard. I said next post because I am changing my second posting day to Friday instead of Thursday. The reason for this is because I now have a class on Thursday night and might not be able to post if I leave it for that night.

Moving on to the part of this that most people care about, I read some more Taylor Varga, Mythical Night and Harry Potter and The Daft Morons. The new chapters this weekend were: Breaking the Gilded Cage, Ashes to Flame, Mauling Snarks (Fri & Mon), Primordial Vortex, Relic of the Future, Less than Zero, Gun Bunny, The Unseen Hunt, Worm: More Than Meets the Eye, The Gamer and Taylor Varga (4 new connected Omakes over the past few days).

I’ll start with the new story by nordiamus, ‘Game On! 3 1.’ It’s not 4 0 because fem Tsuna doesn’t reincarnate to move to the next story because it’s in the same world as the last one. The next crossover story is Yu Yu Hakusho. Fem Tsuna comes in soon after Yusuke ‘dies’ because he will be the one to lead her to missing ‘pack mates.’ She helps him while trying to find them. So, yeah, the rest of the fanfics will be new (for me and you) sakurademonalchemist ones, again. I’ll say again, I like most of their stories, just not the fact that next to none of them are complete. The first one is called ‘Quirks’ and is a straight Naruto fic. It has Itachi creating a false identity as a female half-sister (that he found on a mission, using shadow clones at first) to annoy his father and cause problems with their marriage. The next one is called ‘Against the Dying of the Light’ and is a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover. In it, fem Harry has been forced to marry Ron after the war. She finds herself invited to the Fifth Holy Grail War and uses it as a way to break the shackles the Wizarding World placed on her. Watch as she joins the war and finds herself in between two Archers who have an interest in her. What will happen? You’ll know as soon as I do if you read it, because it hasn’t got that far in the 10 chapters. It was last updated in April 2015. Then the one after that was ‘Artemis Fox,’ which is a Harry Potter and X-Men crossover. It has Lily unknowingly sleeping with Wolverine and fem Harry being his child. After that was the fic ‘Sekirei Game’ a Sekirei, Harry Potter and Gamer crossover. It has fem Harry with the Gamer power being dropped off in Japan at a young age. Her power allows her to wing Sekirei, but she ignores it until an accident causes her to confirm Homura (#6) and she becomes involved in the game. Following that is the fic, ‘Jade Angel’ and it’s sequel ‘Angel Avenger,’ which is a Harry Potter and Supernatural crossover. Jade has fem Harry being killed by Vernon after fourth year. After going to Heaven, she is thrown out because she didn’t finish the angel Zachariah’s job for him, because he didn’t want to do it. She runs away to America to be a dancer. She eventually becomes an actress and goes to Hollywood. She meets many of the Supernatural and changes things for the better. Then there was ‘Mirror Magic, a Harry Potter, Magical Nanoha and D.N.Angel crossover. It has Harry being a descendant to the Niwa and Hikari (at some much later time after D N Angel). He gets earrings in the shape of a white and a black wing. Dark and Krad are able to talk to him and help him run away to Japan. There he ends up with the Takamichis. Following that is ‘Demon Bounty Hunter’ which is a crossover between Harry Potter and Supernatural. It has a Harry, who is actually Sam’s twin, who agrees to because Crowley’s bounty hunter to free him from the Death Eaters clutches after the Light abandons him because they learn he is not a Potter. Finished with that, Yay! I went to the theater and saw “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” I really liked this movie. I found it fun how when a new ‘Spider-Person,’ they did an abbreviated origin story. This is a great example of how to introduce multiple characters in a movie and not make it feel cramped or too much. Miles Morales gets his powers and is thrown into a world that’s suddenly expanded with people who know what he’s going through. For them, their stories have been going for a while, but this is his origin story.

No matter how strange the other Spider-People are, they were all introduced in comics previously. Miles is the most recent, having only been introduced in 2016. With Peni Parker and Spider-Woman being introduced in 2014. If you’re looking for a fun movie for all ages, I would definitely recommend this one.

A sakurademonalchemist Week (with still no votes on my poll)

Well intrepid readers (the few of you there are), there has still not been any votes on my poll. I asked a friend her opinion and since that is the only one I’ve heard so far, if no one votes then I’ll go by her decision. I just started classes that happen on Thursday night and am thinking of changing my posting dates if it doesn’t work out having them on the same day. Moving to the point of this blog, I read so more Taylor Varga. The new chapters this week are: Reality Bites Worm, Archer, Breaking the Gilded Cage (Wed & Thurs), Heroes Assemble!, Mauling Snarks (Omake), The Gamer (Webcomic), Knight of Betrayal and Taiga Cub and GATE: Thus the Chosen One Fought There.

The only series I read these past few days that wasn’t Taylor Varga or a sakura(youknowtherest) fic was ‘Mythical Night’ by Myrddin le Faye (not their original screen name, but they’ve changed it several times). It’s a Naruto and Arrow (though it’s mostly DC universe now) crossover where the Kyubi convinces Naruto that it’s better to become a ‘hero’ than to be a ninja. Thus he becomes the ‘Arrow’ of Konoha (the recent TV series version) and soon many others join him taking the names of DC universe heroes and villains.

As indicated last paragraph, the rest of the fanfics are by sakurademonalchemist. The first one is ‘Moon’s Blessing’ which is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Ouran High School Host Club. Ouran High School Host Club is a manga turned anime about a host club a rich private high school (aka a club where girls can bewooed by good looking men for money, though this one is a rich kid version with no kissing or more). When the scholarship student Haruhi Fujioka accidentally breaks an expensive vase she is drafted into the host club, because the club thinks she’s a guy at first. Watch as she pretends to be a boy as she works with her friends at the host club and help them become better people, just by being around. It’s a good anime and manga with a catchy opening theme.

The fic has Usagi being the sister of the main male character, Tamaka Sou, who has stayed at her aunts because another uncle was ‘interested’ (and not in a good way). When said uncle passes away, Usagi transfers away to Ouran to be with her brother. Watch as an accidental change of birth leads to large changes. The second story was ‘Blood for Blood’ which is a Naruto and Hellsing crossover. Hellsing is about the vampire Alucard who works with the Hellsing Organization to keep his fellow vampires in line in England. Watch him and his newly made partner Seras (a former police woman who he had to kill during his first job and brought her back) take on all comers from vampires, to priests, to Nazis. The manga and the second anime version (Hellsing Ultimate) are the better ones. The originals not bad, just not as good (in my opinion).

This fic is set far in the future of Hellsing where centuries have passed. When the ninja villages were founded Alucard went on a killing spree and he and Seras were sealed near Konoha. When fem Naruto finds out about them early in life, she goes and releases them. They take form as her age and join the class. Next, I read “Forgotten Angel’ which is a Harry Potter, Supernatural and Constantine crossover. Constantine is about John Constantine, a demon hunter who joins up with a police woman who is investigating her twin’s death. Getting mixed up with angels and demons they seek to find their own peace. It’s based on the DC Comic character.

In the fic, Harry is not slated to live much past birth, so Castiel is sent to take his place and kill Voldemort. However, when he is hit with the killing curse, he forgets all his memories and as no-one in Heaven really cares about him he lives his life as ‘Harry.’ It follows the same sad story until it is found that ‘Harry’ can see the demons that pretend to be people. He ends up living in a church, renamed Cas Sheilds, and the ‘younger brother of John Constantine. Watch as this ‘Harry’ goes to Hogwarts and upsets the apple cart. After that it was ‘Tricksters and Gods’ and it’s sequel, ‘Pagans and Angels.’ Tricksters and Gods is a Harry Potter and MCU crossover. After the events of the first Avengers movie, Loki is banished into human form until he is deemed worthy of returning to Asgard. The spell goes slightly wrong and Loki ends up in Harry Potter. After the curse on Halloween, it’s mostly Loki, with some Harry, that survives (without his memories). Watch as Loki lives as Harry Potter and decides to not take the Magical World’s crap. Then there was ‘Shifting Foxes’ (the only one of the sakura fics I haven’t read before) which is a Naruto and Pokémon crossover. It has Naruto happening after an event that shifted the planets plates and had the Pokémon disappearing for two decades. Now only ninjas are allowed to have Pokémon. Naruto finds an eevee when he’s young that has been experimented on that allows it to change back and forth between all of it’s evolutions except for the original three. So finished rereading the last part of Black Sky and am looking forward to the author putting more out soon (hopefully). I also read a few more chapters of Ashes of the Past (early 50’s) because I’ve seen new chapters but I want to finish rereading first. There were updates for It’s in the Cards, Queen of the Seas, A Ninja Summoned, Worm: More Than Meets The Eye, and Seerking’s Asylum. I spend the rest of the day reading stories by sakurademonalchemist and watching shows from the Who-verse.

I decided to read some stories by sakurademonalchemist that I hadn’t before and the first one was ‘Demonic Jewels.’ It’s a KHR AU (Alternate Universe) where there are Demons and the female Tsuna is training to become a jewel summoner. She ends up as Hibari’s roommate because no one else will. It’s interesting and I like it. The next one is called ‘Wrathful Skies’ and is a Harry Potter and KHR crossover. The female Harry is Xanxus’ half sister and calls Krampus to her neighborhood one Christmas when she’s young. She runs away and becomes ferial with Sky flames and a wolf partner. Squalo finds her and takes her back to the Varia where things become interesting. Then was ‘Partners in Crime’ which is another Harry Potter and KHR crossover. It has a young Harry being abandoned in Itay and finds a young (female) Belphegor and they team up to steal. After that, there was ‘Queen of Conquerors’ which is a Harry Potter and Type Moon Universe crossover. It has a young female Harry being transported to the time of Alexander the Conqueror and is adopted as his daughter. She grows up and is his heir before she is called back to her time for the Triwizard Tournament. Continuing, there was ‘Here in an Instant, Gone in a Flash’ which is a triple crossover. It has Harry as the main character, includes the DC TV Universe and has The Librarian TV movie elements too. When Ripper chases Harry into the tree (when he was young, see Book 3), it’s struck by lightning and he gains speedster powers. He then becomes the Magical Librarian (the other Librarian still gets his own job later) and eventually goes to Central City before the events of The Flash. Let’s take a quick break to talk about the DC TV Universe and The Librarian. The DC TV Universe consists of Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. Arrow is about the Green Arrow and his return to his city and taking care of the criminals there. Eventually, The Flash comes in and Barry gets his speedster powers. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow takes villains and heroes from both series and has them travel through time to take out an immortal villain. Supergirl is about Supergirl and her debut, but eventually connects to the others. (I know it’s kinda short, but there is a lot in the DC TV Universe. Cut me a break).

Then there’s The Librarian. It’s about Flynn Carsen, who is kicked out of Uni after getting 20 degrees. He then interviews to become The Librarian (not that he knows what that is at first) and gets the job. He is then sent on an adventure and everything he knows helps him. There were originally three TV movies, but eventually they made a series about it called The Librarians. He activates three others who could have been The Librarian and they form a team.

I’ll cut the sakurademonalchemist stories for now and talk about more tomorrow so I can talk about the Who-verse things I watched. I watched the Doctor Who TV movie, “Planet of the Dead.” It has the Doctor joining a group of people on a bus (including a thief the police are chasing) that is transported to a planet where there’s only sand. They try to get back through the portal, but danger lurks in the distance. The Doctor also gets and ominous warning, “Your song is ending” and “He will knock four times”. Dun, Dun, DUN!

Then I watched the (technical) third season of Torchwood. It’s essentially a five part mini-series called “Torchwood: The Children of Earth.” It has the children of Earth stopping several times and telling people that ‘We are coming.’ An alien race is coming and they want children to make them go away. Watch as the Torchwood and the government clash and try and make them go away.

I also voted today! Not going to talk politics (because it makes people crazy, no really some people on both sides really need to grow up and stop the blame game), but it’s a right people need to exercise and I did!

So today was mostly me reading the first three The Irregular at Magic High School novels and starting the fourth. Since I mentioned it last post it made me want to reread them. There were new chapters for Demon Lord of the End (the real third chapter), Burning Ice, The Healing Touch and Heroes Assemble! I also learned that Seerking is taking a break from his schedule until the 21ist.

I reread a Quatermass story called ‘Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho, Ashikabi’s Life for Me.’ It’s a Sekirei and Pirates of Caribbean (I’m not gonna explain this one, look it up and watch it if you don’t know it. Well, at least the first one, the rest are take it or leave it) crossover. It has Captian Jack Sparrow being reincarnated into Minato. This changes many things. The last of the new stories (for me) from sakurademonalchemist was ‘Trick Hunt.’ It’s an Avengers (MCU) and Supernatural crossover. Supernatural is a popular demon hunting show following Dean and Sam Winchester who are ‘Hunters.’ They hunt and destroy things that hunt humans. Originally they’re looking for their dad, but things change. It has over 13 seasons and is still going.

The story has Loki being sent into a human body without his memories by Odin after the first movie as repentance. God sees this and changes his body to Dean Winchester. When Dean is brought back at the beginning of Season 3, Loki is awakened and he and Dean work to together to solve their problems. I also got a new chapter for a sakurademonalchemist story yesterday called ‘Flames of the Night Sky.’ It’s a KHR and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha crossover. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (from now on called Lyrical Nanoha) is about an elementary school girl (Nanoha Takamichi) who finds a magical ferret (from space and who is really a shape shifting young boy) named Yuuno. He wants her to find the Jewel Seeds that were on his crashed ship. However, there is another young named Fate who wants them as well. There are currently five seasons and four movies (the movies are a separate universe, with the first two covering the first two seasons and the third and fourth being a new story based on a games), though the fourth movie hasn’t aired in the US yet.

The story has Tsuna’s mom dying young and his dad cannot be contacted, so Tsuna ends up being adopted by his mom’s friends, the Takamichis. I also started rereading a sakurademonalchemist story called ‘Queen’s Redemption.’ It’s a KHR and Once Upon a Time crossover. Once Upon a Time is a show about a universe called ‘The Enchanted Forrest,’ where fairy tales originate from. However, there are many differences. It starts with Snow White and Prince Charming’s wedding, where the Evil Queen promises to take away their happy endings. She sets up a spell that transports everyone to a ‘world without magic’ (ya know, our world) and the only one who can break it is Snow’s and Charming’s daughter on her 28^th birthday. They send her ahead as a baby before the spell hits. They are stuck in a time loop (without their memories) in Storybrook until Emma (their daughter) shows up. Watch as she helps them break the curse with the help of the son she gave up, Henry (who is the Evil Queen’s adopted son).

The story has Regina (the Evil Queen) getting hit by a curse by Snow right before the original curse that makes her a child. She grows up into Lal Mitch and regains her memories when the Arcobaleno curse hits. I read some yesterday and some today (but not finished rereading yet). Today I read the fourth through sixth novels of The Irregular at Magic High School. There were new chapters for Celestial Worm and Code Geass: Lionheart of the Revolution. I read more chapters for Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho, An Ashikabi’s Life for Me and Queen’s Revenge, but haven’t finished either yet.

I reread a one shot by kb0 called ‘Harry’s Happy Christmas.’ It’s a Harry Potter story that has Harry meeting Santa in a mall ‘Meet Santa’ area and asking for help ending the war. The only other thing I started rereading was ‘Run With You’ by mltrefry. It’s a Doctor Who Season 3 rewrite where Rose manages to hold on and stays with The Doctor. Today, I finished Angry Harry and the Seven, read a few more chapters of Fate’s Gamble and reread Hollow Magic (yeah, it was as bad as I remembered). I also read new chapters for Queen of the Seas (2 chapters one late last night after I posted and another midday), Ashes to Flame, Mauling Snarks, Stand Together and Smile, and Rising Dragon, Hidden Hammers (2 same times as Queen). I also read 2 Tokyo Ghoul crossovers by Quatermass.

The first one is a one shot that is called ‘The Cleaner with a Kagune.’ It’s a crossover with Black Lagoon and has the cleaner Sawyer being a Ghoul. It’s not much, but it’s okay. The link to it is here – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13088851/1/The-Cleaner-with-a-Kagune.

The second one is called ‘The Raptor of the 20^th Ward.’ It’s a Harry Potter crossover that has Harry being a human taken in by the Fueguchi’s (Hinami’s family if you don’t recongnize it). He grows up in Japan and ends up masking up to help the non-evil ghouls and to take back Kagune from the Doves. He ends up helping Ken getting through his situation. I also read another of Seerking’s fics that’s not being updated, ‘Ranma Saotome, Chi Master.’ It’s a Ranma ½ fic that has Ranma being smarter and more powerful because he and his father left for China a year earlier and he had a different teacher for the first year. He’s stable (and had his father’s influence flushed away) and works to help Akane soon after he gets to Nerima. I like it a lot, but I wish he would update it more. Lastly started rereading a Ranma ½ time travel fic called ‘Ranma, the Second Time Around’ by kayemsi. It has Ranma getting killed by a demon while a college because of Happosai. He is sent back to the morning when he gets the curse. He cannot stop himself or his father from getting their curses, but is able to save Ryoga. After heading back to Nerima he works to make things better with Akane and let them have a better relationship. The author hasn’t updated since 2009, so I doubt it’ll be finished. I read some more Ranma, the Second Time Around, but nowhere near the end. There were also new chapters for Harry Potter and the Stargate, Harry Potter and the Immortals, Relic of the Future, and Demon Lord of the End (an Omake). I finished watching the third season of the rebooted Doctor Who (I’ve read fanfiction, but never really watched past the beginning of the third season) and the short called Time Crash inbetween it and the Christmas Special that year.

I also watched the rest of season one of “Torchwood,” which is an off-shoot of Doctor Who. It follows Jack Harkness’ (from the first season of the Doctor Who reboot) Torchwood crew up until his showing up at the end episodes of DW season 3. They deal with Rift events at Cardiff and other abnormal events. It’s pretty good (and LBGT for those who are interested in that).

I also watched the first episode of “The Good Place.” I’m not sure if I’ll watch more, but it seems weird and that not all of them deserve to be in a ‘Heaven’ place. It’s okay, but yeah not sure.

I read a short but interesting Harry Potter fic called ‘Memoriae’ by Crymson Ash. It has the Goblet showing memories for each champion to show why they were chosen. Next I read a new story called ‘Massacre in the Dungeons’ by Marylou. It has the troll from first year really being in the dungeons and killing and hurting some Slytherins. The last new story I started reading was ‘The XXXX You Say’ by Selector. The X’s mean exactly what you think they do (it’s the first line of the story too). It has Harry going to the Goblins after he gets his notice because of the Dementor attack before his 5^th year. He decides to xxxx the British wizarding world and goes to America with Hermione and everyone he can save. It also has muggle government and powerful Harry. Lastly, I started rereading ‘The Realm of Passing’ by Oracle2Phoenix. It’s a Harry Potter fic that has him getting hit by the killing curse in the graveyard. He meets his parents and they help him and give him some information. He works to find out how to get rid of Voldie while away from Dumbles. It’s a 10 chapter, unfinished Harry/Ginny fic and hasn’t been updated since 2013 (though one of their fics was updated in August). I read some more The XXXX You Say and Harry Potter: Choices and finished the Realm of Passing. There were new chapters for Raptor of the 20^th Ward, The Unseen Hunt, and Queen of the Seas. I also read a few one-shots today.

The first two are from Oracle2Phoenix. The first is called ‘Harry, the Doctor and the Ponds’ and is a Harry Potter and Doctor Who crossover. Okay it’s not really a one-shot, but the author hasn’t posted a new chapter since 2012 so it’s a one shot to me. It has the Doctor finding Harry as Voldie dies in 1981. He takes him in to raise him. I also read two one-shots by kb0. The first one was Harry Potter: Unchampion. It has Harry deciding to not participate and rebel a year earlier. I also read a fic I haven’t read before by kb0 called, ‘Harry Potter: Ironwizard.’ It’s a Harry/Hermione story that has Hermione helping Harry make an Ironman armor to go against the Death Eaters and Voldemort. I started rereading a fic by Arthur Hansen called ‘Falling Iron.’ It’s an Avengers and Worm crossover that has Ironman ending up in the Worm-verse before he can fall back through the wormhole in the first Avengers movie. Lastly I started reading a fic called ‘Memories of Iron’ by becuzitswrong. It’s an Ironman and Worm-verse crossover. It has Taylor getting accused of stealing test answers the semester before the locker. The night it happened she is given the memories of a dying Tony Stark from a doomed universe (a much later than where the MCU is currently Tony). She uses this to help save her universe. I read some more Memories of Iron and finished Falling Iron. There were new chapters for Mauling Snarks, Queen of the Seas and (drum roll please) Pick Up the Pieces and Rebuild! The author is going to be posting the last (I assume) two chapters over the next two days, so I’m looking forward to it! Maybe they’ll start working on Black Sky again!!!

Other than that I started rereading ‘The Accidental Bond’ by kb0. It’s a Harry Potter fic were Harry has a power to bond witches he saves to himself. He cannot control it and it’s about how he deals with it. The story is a Harry/Hermione/Ginny/Gabrielle Delacour fic. Sorry again for being late for the last post. I got the normal new chapter for Mauling Snarks along with a new one for Cambion. Other than reading some more Harry Potter and the Daft Morons, I read some new chapters for fics I haven’t mentioned before and actually read a physical book!

The first of the new chapters was for ‘Master Potter of Kamar-Taj’ by Ryuko monogatari. If I mentioned this one before, bear with me (I looked when I got the last updates and couldn’t find them mentioned on the corresponding days on the blog). It’s an Avengers and Harry Potter crossover where Harry studies under Doctor Strange before going to Hogwarts. It’s almost to the end of first year, storyline wise. The second fanfic I read only the first chapter, but it’s finished. It’s called ‘Second Chances are Fought For’ by fg7dragon. It’s a Naruto and Fate/Stay Night crossover that has Naruto being summoned by Rin instead of Archer (EMIYA). He changes everything. fg7dragon is a good author and I would recommend them, but there are a few fics they haven’t updated in a good while. I’ll get around to them, but Naruto is a common theme between most of their fics. The link to their FF.com page is – https://www.fanfiction.net/u/2085016/fg7dragon.

The last new chapter was from ‘Game On! 3 0’ by nordiamus. It’s the third in the Game On! Series. It’s about Harriet Potter who died sometime after becoming the Master of Death. She chooses to reincarnate several times helping heroes in order to save her mother’s soul. She at least gets a Gamer system to help her. The first fic has her in KHR. Well since I just mentioned two series I haven’t talked about yet, I’ll talk about them before I go into the book. Fullmetal Alchemist (FMA) is about Edward and Alphonse Elric who are alchemists. Their mother died when they were young (and their father left before that [the story eventually explains it]) so they tried to do the forbidden and bring her back. As a reward, Ed lost a leg and an arm and Al lost his body and his soul is bonded into a suit of armor. Ed gets an automail (a fully functioning mechanical replacement) arm and leg and joins the military to find a way to recover what was taken from them. Many things happen along the way and long hidden secrets are revealed. I would very much suggest this, in its manga and second anime at least. The original FMA was okay for a while, but then diverted and I at least wasn’t a huge fan. FMA: Brotherhood was really good though.

InuYasha is about a young 1990’s high school girl, Kagome, getting dragged into a well at her home (in a shrine) and ending up in the Edo period (between 1603 and 1868, don’t know when during it). There she finds out that demons are real and that she is the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo who died in that period over half a century ago. Kikyo was the guardian of the Shikon Jewel and it reappeared in Kagome’s body. She frees a half dog-demon InuYasha (who was sealed by Kikyo and has a history with her) to save her from another demon who wants the jewel. Soon the Jewel is shattered (by Kagome on accident) and she, InuYasha and friends they find along the way have to find all the pieces to complete the Jewel and stop others from using it for evil. Luckily, she can at least return home sometimes, though InuYasha can follow her. I recommend this one as well, both the manga and anime.

Finally, I read the first book in the Baccano! series that I mentioned last time. It’s called “The Rolling Bootlegs” and focuses on how both groups get their immortality, though not much about the first group. I was wrong last time, there are 22 books out and the 23^rd is the one delayed. That’s it for today, see you on the next line!

I read several completely new fics today, but also some new chapters. The new chapters were from Harry Potter and the Stargate, Stand Together and Smile and Relic of the Future. I also read till chapter 64 (of 84) of Harry Potter and the Daft Morons.

The first new fic was ‘Protector of the Fairies’ by Takei Daloui. It’s a Fairy Tail and Bleach crossover. It has Bleach elements built into the Fairy Tail world rather than having a character (or two) just dropped into it. It’s interesting, I haven’t finished it (I’m reading it slowly on the side) as it has 251 chapters and it’s not finished yet. The second new story is ‘Relics of the Past’ by Cyrro. It’s Naruto fic where Iruka is from Whirlpool and takes Naruto in when he’s young. Along with a female Itachi and Sasuke, things are gonna be weird. I also haven’t finished this one because it’s 183 chapters. I’m going to be reading these with a few chapters a day, if that. The last new story is called ‘Clouds in the Sky’ by EriLenx07. It’s a crossover with Harry Potter and KHR. It has a female Harry meeting Hibari in her neighborhood after 5^th year (because Vernon is in the mafia). They then spend many hours together. At least, Harriet is back at Hogwarts in the story now (the author spent too much time pre-Hogwarts in my opinion). It’s unfinished, but interesting. Finally I read the pdf version of the second of the Baccano! light novels, “1931 – The Grand Punk Railroad – Local Episode.” By the way, the author’s name is Ryohgo Narita (I don’t think I mentioned that).

There’s not much for today, though there were quite a few new chapters today. Here’s a list of them: The Unseen Hunt, It Gets Worse (this was the last chapter), The Remnant Knight, Enough (the second to last chapter) and Rising Dragon, Hidden Hammers. I also finished rereading Harry Potter and the Daft Morons (I hope Sinyk gets back to it soon).

I read two chapters of Honestly Harry – The Year of the Rock. However, the only other thing was the pdf of the third Baccano! light novel, “1931 – The Grand Punk Railroad – Express Episode.”

What shall I talk about in this free space? Hm, how about I talk about one of my favorite manga/animes Case Closed (in America, even though it stopped being dubbed after 6 seasons) or Detective Conan. It’s about Shinichi Kudo (I’m going with the Japanese names in English style. Why? Because I watch mostly the sub version to keep up), whose a high school detective that has helped the police solve many cases. He goes to a theme park with his not-girlfriend Ran Mori and after he solves a case there, follows some shady men. One of them catches him and forces him to take a poison that should kill him. However, it actually de-ages him to elementary school age. He eventually ends up staying with Ran and her (not very good) detective father, Kogoro Mori. Neither knows who he really is and he depends on his inventor neighbor to help him solve Kogoro’s cases for him. All while trying to find the people who did this to him to get back his body. This is no easy task, as is shown in that it’s still going after 24 years (the manga started in 1994 and isn’t finished yet). It has over 1000 chapters (though it’s on hiatus for the author’s medical treatment), over 900 episodes and over 20 movies. It must be doing something right. The animation is older at first, but gets better as the years go by. I really recommend this to anyone who is a fan of mystery shows.

My dog kept me up again because of storms, but I slept late so I’m okay. The only new chapter (from a story I’ve already talked about) I got today was Mauling Snarks, I guess to make up for yesterday’s haul. I got a new chapter for a Seerking story (one that’s not in his normal rotation) called ‘Ranma: Happenstance Gone Right.’ It’s a Ranma ½ story that has Akane not being able to be his fiancée after a diversion in one of the events that makes it so that only Shampoo and Ukyo can marry him. I also rewatched the first few episodes of Log Horizon. It’s a light novel turned anime about a lot of people playing an online game being transported into the game. The main character, Shiroe, along with his friends have to figure out how to live in this new situation while trying to figure out what happened. I like this one and have watched it several times, I hope a third season eventually comes out.

I also reread ‘The Road not Taken’ by sbmcneil. It’s a Harry Potter fic that has Sirius meeting Harry after he runs away in the third book and taking him away for the summer. I last story I started rereading today was ‘Harry and Ginny: A Love Story’ by Epeefencer. It’s a Soul Bond that happens after the Chamber. Harry is drawn to help Ginny and its discovered they have a soul bond. Forces work to help and protect them, while Dumbledore is trying to find out why his plans have gone wrong. It’s interesting and I suggest it, even if it hasn’t been updated since 2015 (the author updates some of their other fics, sometimes). No One for a Week!

Wow, nobody’s even visited the site since last Thursday. I’m sad to realize this, but maybe I need to advertise more. If someone has suggestions or thinks I’m doing something wrong, please tell me. Tuesday

So to finish yesterday’s new fanfictions (they’re all still Quatermass’ stories), the first is ‘Separated at Birth’. It’s a Harry Potter and Fate/Stay Night crossover happening after the events of the HP books. It’s revealed that Harry is not really a Potter (causing Ginny and most people to leave him), but was really stolen from another universe to become the Boy Who Lived. Taking few people with him (Hermione, Luna and George) he gets Zelretch’s help to go to meet his now younger twin sister, Rin Tohsaka a year or so before the Grail War. The last one from yesterday was, ‘Plenipotent Player Prince.’ It’s a crossover between Code Geass and Overlord. Overlord is a light novel/anime about a guy who stays logged in on a VR game on its last day until the servers shut down. When it happens, he and the NPCs in his guild’s base are transported to a new world (including a succubus he changed to description to love him). Now a real life lich, he and the now alive NPCs take this world by storm after he takes the guild’s name as his own, Ainz Ooal Gown. In the fic, instead of being transported to a new world, most the characters a reborn as Code Geass characters, with Ainz Ooal Gown being Lelouch. See how this changes things. Moving on to today, I have more Qautermass fics (Yay). No really, they’re good. The first for today was, ‘Gorgon and Thanatos’. It’s another Harry Potter and Fate/Zero Crossover (the author has a few). It has things going wrong again after the books and Harry going to be a guardian of a hidden library in Fuyuki a few years before the Fourth Grail War. He isn’t a participant, but ends up accidentally have a Heroic Spirit of his own as a familiar. The war is much different because of it. Next is ‘Parva Sub Ingenti’. It means, ‘The small under the huge’ and it’s a crossover between Harry Potter (surpise!) and “Gate: Thus the JDF Fought There”. Gate is a story about a Gate to a medieval magical world appearing in Japan and an army coming through to attack. The attack is eventually repelled and the JDF (Japanese Defense Force) is sent through to find out about this new world and get reparations. One soldier is Itami (an otaku who happened to be there when the attack happened and helped save people). He leads a group to map this new world and help as many pretty girls as possible and have them follow him around. Also, there’s a huge dragon!

The fic has Harry, Hermione and Luna going through the veil (which leads to the world on the other side of the Gate) several years before the Gate would open. Harry ends up saving someone who would become a villain in the original story and living his life there. See how this massively changes the story. Also Sirius is still alive. Following is ‘Light the Blue Touch Paper and Run Like Hell’. It’s a crossover between Thor and Fate/Zero that has Loki becoming the master of Caster (Medea) in the Fourth Grail War after being saved by Zelretch (this is after the events of the movie Thor, before he meets Thanos). He uses this as a way to work through his frustrations about his family and learn more about himself. It’s finished and the author plans to make a sequel at a later time. ‘Cambion’ is a Harry Potter and High School DxD crossover. It has Harry as a half devil with Riser Phenex being his father. James kicks him out of the Potter family for having a different father. The last fic (for today) from Quartermass is ‘Neopolitan and the Goblet of Fire’. It is a crossover between Harry Potter and RWBY in which a female Harry is Neopolitan. During the events at the end of the 3^rd season, the Goblet of Fire summons Neo back to the Harry Potter world. She then decides to take revenge on her father and Sirius (who threw her through the Veil at a young age). It’s interesting. I read a few more chapters of Remnant’s Reclaimer and started rereading a RWBY fanfiction called ‘The Remnant Knight’ by Masseffect-TxS. It has Jaune sending Pyrrha away at the end of the 3^rd season and facing Cinder himself. This reveals an ability not even he knew about in his bloodline that helps him, at a cost. Lastly I read a new chapter from Seerking’s Asylum for Plot Bunnies That Won’t Stop Bugging Me. For those who don’t remember, it’s a one shot/short story repository for him.

I read a lot again today, so get ready! I read some more chapters of Becoming a Man Among Men. However I read more of Quartermass’ fic today… sorry going to be for a little bit more. The first one is called, ‘Wings of the Forsaken’ and is a Harry Potter and “Sekirei” crossover. Sekirei is a manga/anime about a young Japanese man who gets caught up in a contest between aliens called Sekirei who are forced to fight because of a mad man’s whims. Most of the Sekirei are beautiful girls who bond with their ‘destined one’ and fight until only one remains. Minato ‘wings’ several Sekirei and is also forced to compete. It’s interesting, but you can tell it’s a story for young men (what with all the panty shots).

Wings of the Forsaken has Harry cast out of the Potter’s for being Lupin’s son (who helped Lily overcome the love potion James has her under) after the Halloween attack. He is eventually left in Japan and is taken in by Miya. After taking over the company in charge of the Sekirei, Harry is forced back to England for the Tri-Wizard Tournament. The next one is called ‘Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho, An Ashikabi’s Life for Me’. It’s a Pirates of the Caribbean movie series and Sekirei crossover that has Jack Sparrow reborn as Minato. The last one from Quartermass (again today) is called ‘Warlock’. It is a Code Geass and Harry Potter crossover. It has Harry going through the veil in fifth year and ending up in the Code Geass universe. He becomes Kallen’s boyfriend and helps out their group before Zero shows up. I also completely reread a fic called ‘The Ash Connection’ by I am Lu. It has Ash and all his former and current traveling companions (It’s set in Black and White), rivals and friends on the run from a Team Rocket controlled Mewtwo. Thursday

Not that much overall read today, but again there are a few Quartermass fics. The first is ‘Disquiet’ and it is a Harry Potter and “Black Lagoon” crossover. Black Lagoon is about a shipping company who does illegal things for money who capture a Japanese salary man for a disk he is transporting. Rock, as he is later called, is abandoned to die by his company and falls in with the Lagoon company. Watch as he, Revy (a two-handed female sharpshooter), and the rest of the crew handle their jobs and the mess that follows. I also started rewatching the anime a few days ago to remind myself of the series, I would definitely recommend it.

In Disquiet, Harry (now Hal) is the partner of a character from later in the series, Frederica Sawyer. She (in the story) is Bellatrix’s daughter. They were thought dead by the Wizarding World (WW) after James and Sirius try to make Horcruxes from them (and says they were killed practicing dark magic). When Harry’s brother dies in his fifth year, the WW comes looking for them. Only to find them very much willing to kill anyone who comes after them with the intent to kill. It happens during the Killer Maid arc and doesn’t have much to do with the main characters of Black Lagoon. The link to the story is – https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12459701/1/Disquiet.

The other one from Quartermass today is a one-shot called ‘Coconuts?’. It’s a Fate/Stay Night – Unlimited Blade Works afterstory that has Zelretch sending Monty Python and the Holy Grail for Arturia to watch… yeah. I would not recommend for the actual King Arthur to ever watch it, as hilarious as it is. On a side note, when a friend from summer camp (when I was in high school) heard I hadn’t seen it, he recited it to me verbatim over the next few days (impressive right). I have since seen it. Other than a few more chapters of Becoming a Man Among Men, I read a new chapter of Parva Sub Ingeti and a new fic, ‘Reaching for a Dream’ by Noodlehammer. It is the first of a series of Naruto fics and the only one not a crossover. It has an older Naruto than the other characters normally his age and different female Kyuubi. Warning! This is an M fic for a reason. It has many Lemons in it (if you don’t know what that means, it is slang for R rated interactions between men and women). Don’t like, don’t read. Finally, I finished adding the new characters to my own fanfiction and am looking forward to writing more to eventually post it.
